Abstract

One of the essential aspects of the learning process is instructional media. An instructional media that can be utilized is augmented reality (AR)-based instructional media. This research aims to assess the feasibility of AR-based instructional media on the digestive system. The stages involved in this research include gathering information through literature review, designing AR-based instructional media, validating AR-based instructional media, and revising AR-based instructional media based on validator feedback. The validation results of AR-based instructional media, with four assessment aspects including linguistic, illustration, attractiveness, and quality, obtained a score of 1.00, indicating a very high rating. AR-based instructional media can visualize digestive system material that cannot be directly observed through the presentation of illustrations such as images and videos that resemble real conditions, thereby reducing misconceptions about the digestive system material. It is concluded that AR-based instructional media is suitable for instructional media on the digestive system topic

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui kelayakan PowerPoint interaktif pada materi Virus untuk kelas X SMA. Metode yang diterapkan adalah penelitian dan pengembangan (R&D) dengan menggunakan lima tahapan, yaitu potensi masalah, pengumpulan data, desain produk, validasi desain, serta revisi desain. Penelitian ini menggunakan instrumen berupa lembar validasi dengan aspek yang dinilai meliputi format, isi, bahasa, dan ilustrasi. Lembar validasi ini dinilai oleh lima validator dengan empat kriteria penilaian. Hasil validasi dianalisis menggunakan rumus Aiken’s V, yang menghasilkan nilai kevalidan sebesar 0,93 dengan kategori valid. Selain itu, nilai reliabilitas menggunakan Intraclass Correlation Coefficients (ICC) menunjukkan nilai 0,779 dengan kategori baik. Media PowerPoint interaktif dinyatakan valid dan reliabel sehingga dapat digunakan sebagai media pembelajaran pada materi Virus untuk kelas X SMA/MA.

Abstract

An educator is required to be able to master methods and choose appropriate learning media, to support a quality learning process. This research aims to determine the feasibility of a sub-material encyclopedia on the role of the diversity of living things for life based on an inventory of medicinal plants as a learning medium. The form of this research is research and development which includes the potential and problem stages related to the importance of learning media as supporting the teaching and learning process, the data collection stage through the results of an inventory of medicinal plants, the encyclopedia preparation stage, the encyclopedia validation stage, and the encyclopedia revision stage in accordance with the suggestions given by a validator. This encyclopedia is assessed based on aspects of presentation, content and language which show that this encyclopedia is suitable for use as a learning medium. The validation results of the encyclopedia media by five validators were analyzed using Lawshe's calculations which showed that from three aspects with eleven criteria a content validity ratio value of 1.00 was obtained in the valid category and the average value of all criteria content validity index was obtained of 1.00 with a valid category so that it is declared suitable for use as learning media

Abstract

This study aims to determine the feasibility of student worksheets based on discovery learning on the structure and function of tissue in class XI plants. The method used in this research is Research and Development (R&D) or research and development. Data analysis using Content Validation Rate (CVR) and Content Validation Index (CVI) refers to the Lawshe method. The validator involved two lecturers of biology education, and three biology teachers. There are 3 aspects of the assessment, namely learning three criteria, learning content of five criteria and displaying five evaluation criteria. Based on the results of data analysis, all the CVR criteria are 0.99 in the valid category and the CVI is 0.99. It can be concluded that the student worksheets based on discovery learning on the structure and function of tissue is suitable for use as teaching materials in high school.Because this research only reached the validation and design revision stage, the researcher suggests to future researchers to carry out the research stage to the end, namely mass production, with the aim that the resulting product can help teachers and students in the teaching and learning process.

Abstract

This research aims to develop a scientific literacy test instrument on immune system material. Borg & Gall research and development modified by Sugiyono is the research methodology used.. The questions developed were 25 multiple-choice questions created using 9 indicators from the TOSLS instrument developed by Gormally, Brickman, and Lutz. The questions were tested on 75 class Xl students at SMA Negeri 7 Pontianak who were selected using a simple random sampling technique. Rasch model analysis was used to analyze the questions. The content validity results stated that it was valid (0.92) and had good interrater reliability (0.88). Item validity (item fit) shows 25 valid. Reliability shows the Cronbach's Alpha category is bad (0.50), the person reliability category is weak (0.46), the item reliability value is very good (0.94). The person separation value is 2 and the item separation value is 6. The difficulty of the questions (item measure) demonstrates Six questions are extremely difficult, six questions are difficult, eight questions are easy, and five questions are extremely easy. From the results of the analysis, It can be conclude that the questions are valid and reliable even though there are questions that need to be revised.Keywords: Scientific Literacy test instrument, 9 TOSLS indicators, Rasch Analysis

Abstract

AbstrakTujuan dari bimbingan teknis ini adalah mempersiapkan semua pemangku kepentingan yang terlibat dalam kegiatan administrasi dosen tersebut untuk mempersiapkan pelatihan dan sosialisasi. Persiapan yang dilakukan adalah sebagai berikut: 1) pemadanan semua akun dosen di lingkungan jurusan pmipa; 2) pelaksanaan berbagai sosialisasi, pelatihan, dan workshop kegiatan-kegiatan tersebut. Narasumber untuk kegiatan di bulan September dilaksanakan oleh dua orang pegawai dari kepegawaian untan yaitu bapak Sugeng dan bapak Wawan yang ahli dalam bidang keadministrasian selama 2 hari yaitu Hari Jum’at dan Sabtu tanggal 6 dan 7 September 2024. Tempat kegiatan selama beberapa kegiatan tersebut di Aula FKIP, Ruang Sidang 1 FKIP Untan serta Zoom Meeting. Peserta yang dimaksud adalah: 1) semua dosen di seluruh lingkungan jurusan PMIPA; 2) semua tenaga kependidikan; 3) mahasiswa yang terlibat langsung di himpunan di setiap prodi yang jumlahnya 65 orang. Hasil yang dicapai dalam kegiatan pengabdian ini adalah: 1) Pelatihan berkelanjutan terkait Administrasi Dosen yang sangat diperlukan bagi dosen di Jurusan PMIPA FKIP; 2) Artikel publikasi ke jurnal nasional terakreditasi; 3) Produk berupa Data SKP Elektronik dan data penting lainnya yang sesuai kebutuhan dosen. Kegiatan untuk mengevaluasi kegiatan ini dilakukan dengan merumuskan hasil diskusi awal tentang proses pelaksanaan pendampingan dengan model bimbingan teknis sejenis yang pernah diikuti atau dilakukan oleh peserta sebelum mengikuti kegiatan pengabdian ini. Dari kegiatan pertama dan kedua dianalisis perubahan yang terjadi setelah para peserta mengikuti kegiatan pendampingan dengan model bimbingan teknis. Hasil akhir kegiatan pengabdian tersebut adalah terbentuknya SOP dan eSKP serta data lainnya sesuai dengan kebutuhan Dosen di Lingkungan Jurusan PMIPA Untan. Kata kunci: bimbingan teknis; administasi dosen; sasaran kinerja pegawai. AbstractThe purpose of this technical guidance is to prepare all stakeholders involved in the lecturer's administrative activities to prepare for training and socialization. The preparations made are as follows: 1) matching all lecturer accounts within the pmipa department; 2) implementation of various socialization, training, and workshops on these activities. Resource persons for activities in September were carried out by two employees from the staffing of untan, namely Mr. Sugeng and Mr. Wawan who are experts in the field of administration for 2 days, namely Friday and Saturday, September 6 and 7, 2024. The place of activity for some of these activities is in the FETT Hall, Session Room 1 FKIP Untan and Zoom Meeting. The intended participants are: 1) all lecturers in the entire PMIPA department environment; 2) all educational staff; 3) students who are directly involved in the association in each study program, totaling 65 people. The results achieved in this service activity are: 1) Continuous training related to Lecturer Administration which is very necessary for lecturers in the FETT PMIPA Department; 2) Publication articles to accredited national journals; 3) Products in the form of Electronic SKP Data and other important data according to the needs of lecturers. Activities to evaluate this activity were carried out by formulating the results of initial discussions about the process of implementing assistance with similar technical guidance models that had been followed or carried out by participants before participating in this service activity. From the first and second activities, the changes that occurred after the participants participated in the mentoring activities with the technical guidance model were analyzed. The final result of this service activity is the formation of SOPs and eSKP and other data according to the needs of Lecturers in the PMIPA Department of Untan. Keywords: technical assistance; lecturer administration; employee performance targets.

Abstract

Coconuts can easily be found in Sungai Itik Village, but so far the diversification of the use of coconuts is still not diverse, even though through the activities of PKK (Family Welfare Empowerment) efforts can be made to diversify the use of coconuts. Coconut jam is an example of a product made from coconuts. Making coconut jam requires easily available ingredients and simple equipment. it's simple so it can be done by PKK. This workshop activity aims to take advantage of the potential that exists in the village of Sungai Itik and produce a diversification of processed coconut products in the form of coconut jam. Several potentials include MSME activities in amplang, ant sugar production, tilapia ponds, plantations (bananas, coconuts), and agriculture (rice). This activity is motivated by the abundant availability of coconuts, but the diversification of processed products from coconuts is still limited to the processing of copra and coconut sugar. The method of implementing workshop activities is divided into identifying potentials and problems, compiling programs, determining target audiences, implementing workshop activities which are divided, evaluating the implementation of activities evaluate the implementation of activities through visits to PKK group representatives and conducting interviews and observing jam making, and finally monitoring after workshop activities. The results of the workshop on making coconut jam which involved the community provided scientific contributions, especially for the PKK group in Sungai Itik Village about how to make coconut jam, then this jam can be used for households so that it can reduce children's food snack expenditure, and coconut jam can also be sold so that it can be additional household financial income.Workshop Pembuatan Selai Kelapa Kepada Kelompok Pemberdayaan Kesejahteraan Keluarga (PKK) Di Desa Sungai ItikABSTRAKBuah kelapa dapat dengan mudah ditemukan di Desa Sungai Itik, namun sejauh ini diversifikasi pemanfaatan buah kelapa masih belum beragam, padahal melalui kegiatan PKK (Pemberdayaan Kesejahteraan) dapat dilakukan upaya untuk diversifikasi pemanfaatan buah kelapa. Selai kelapa merupakan salah satu contoh produk berbahan baku buah kelapa. Pembuatan selai kelapa membutuhkan bahan yang mudah didapat dan peralatan yang sederhana. sederhana sehingga dapat dilakukan oleh kelompok PKK.  Kegiatan workshop ini bertujuan untuk memanfaatkan potensi yang ada di desa Sungai Itik dan menghasilkan diversifikasi produk olahan kelapa berupa selai kelapa. Beberapa potensi meliputi kegiatan UMKM amplang, produksi gula semut, tambak ikan nila, perkebunan (pisang, kelapa), dan pertanian (padi). Kegiatan ini dilatarbelakangi oleh melimpahnya ketersediaan kelapa namun bentuk diversifikasi olahan produk dari kelapa masih terbatas pada pengolahan kopra dan gula kelapa. Metode pelaksanaan kegiatan workshop terbagi menjadi identifikasi potensi dan masalah, penyusunan program, penetapan khalayak sasaran, pelaksanaan kegiatan workshop yang terbagi menjadi dua kegiatan yakni penyampaian materi dan diskusi serta praktik pembuatan selai kelapa, evaluasi pelaksanaan kegiatan melalui kunjungan ke perwakilan grup PKK dan melakukan wawancara serta observasi pembuatan selai, dan terakhir monitoring pasca kegiatan workshop. Hasil workshop pembuatan selai kelapa yang melibatkan masyarakat memberikan sumbangsih keilmuan khususnya bagi kelompok PKK di Desa Sungai Itik tentang bagaimana membuat selai kelapa, selanjutnya selai ini dapat dimanfaatkan untuk rumah tangga sehingga dapat mengurangi pengeluaran jajanan makanan anak, dan selai kelapa dapat pula dijual sehingga dapat menjadi tambahan pemasukan keuangan rumah tangga.Kata Kunci :Workshop; Selai Kelapa; Pemberdayaan; Kesejahteraan Keluarga (PKK)

Abstract

Era globalisasi menuntut guru untuk beradaptasi menggunakan media pembelajaran berbasis teknologi. Guru biologi di kota Pontianak sudah memanfaatkan media pembelajaran namun belum pernah menggunakan media pembelajaran berbasis augmented reality (AR) dalam proses pembelajaran. Tujuan pengabdian kepada masyarakat (PKM) ini adalah untuk melakukan pelatihan pembuatan media pembelajaran biologi berbasis augmented reality dengan menggunakan assemblr EDU bagi guru di MGMP biologi kota Pontianak. Metode PKM yaitu dengan melakukan kegiatan sosialisasi, pelatihan, dan pendampingan. Peserta PKM berjumlah 20 orang guru Biologi yang tergabung dalam MGMP biologi kota Pontianak. Tahap sosialisasi, guru dijelaskan mengenai media pembelajaran biologi berbasis augmented reality. Tahap pelatihan dilakukan dengan mendemonstrasikan cara pembuatan media pembelajaran biologi berbasis augmented reality dengan menggunakan aplikasi assemblr EDU kepada guru. Tahap pendampingan, guru membuat sendiri media sesuai dengan materi yang diinginkan dan dibimbing oleh narasumber secara langsung. Setelah selesai mengikuti pelatihan ini, guru dapat membuat media pembelajaran biologi berbasis augmented reality dengan assemblr EDU dan guru dapat menggunakannya dalam pembelajaran biologi. The era of globalization requires teachers to adapt to using technology-based learning media. Biology teachers in Pontianak city have utilized learning media but have never used augmented reality (AR)-based learning media in the learning process. The purpose of this community service (PKM) is to conduct training in making augmented reality-based biology learning media using assemblr EDU for teachers at the Pontianak city biology MGMP. The PKM method is to conduct socialization, training, and mentoring activities. PKM participants numbered 20 biology teachers who are members of the Pontianak city biology MGMP. In the socialization stage, teachers were explained about augmented reality-based biology learning media. The training stage was carried out by demonstrating how to make augmented reality-based biology learning media using the assemblr EDU application to teachers. In the mentoring stage, teachers made their own media according to the desired material and were guided directly by the resource person. After completing this training, teachers can make augmented reality-based biology learning media with assemblr EDU and teachers can use it in biology learning.

Abstract

Powtoon is an online application that can be used as a learning medium. This study aims to determine the effectiveness of using powtoon animation media on student learning outcomes in the human respiratory system in Eight-grade Junior High School 3 Pontianak. The method used in this research is Quasi Experimental with Pre-test Post-test Control Group Design. The samples used were 2 classes, namely the experimental class with 31 students and the control class with 32 students, which were taken using the intact group technique. The instrument used was a multiple choice test totaling 20 questions. Learning outcome data was analyzed using the independent sample t-test. The average post-test result for the experimental class was 76.56, which was higher than the control class, which was 69.53. The effect size calculation obtained is 0.70 which is included in the medium category and contributes 25.80% in learning, so it can be concluded that powtoon animation media influences student learning outcomes

Abstract

Pengabdian ini dilakukan untuk memberi solusi alternatif dari persoalan yang dihadapi oleh guru yang mengalami kendala pada penulisan artikel penelitian tindakan kelas dan submit ke jurnal sebagai salah satu syarat dalam mengusulkan kenaikan pangkat. Pengabdian ini dilakukan dengan menggunakan metode workshop dan pendampingan penulisan hingga submit ke jurnal, yaitu pengabdi melakukan kegiatan bersama dengan guru mata pelajaran IPA yang tergabung dalam MGMP Kota Pontianak. Kegiatan ini dilaksanakan secara luring dan daring. Ada tujuh guru yang mengikuti secara penuh kegiatan ini. Berdasarkan rangkaian kegiatan yang telah dilakukan, guru merasa sangat terbantu dengan kegiatan yang dilakukan, terutama dengan pendampingan penulisan artikel penelitian tindakan kelas dan submit pada jurnal. Pengabdi menemukan, selama ini banyak terdapat guru-guru yang terkendala dalam melakukan penulisan artikel penelitian tindakan kelas dan sumbit pada jurnal dikarenakan kurangnya pelatihan dan pengetahuan tentang penulisan artikel serta submit pada jurnal. Setelah dilakukan workshop dan pendapingan terhadap penulisan artikel penelitian tindakan kelas dan submit pada jurnal empat guru dapat menghasilkan artikel yang ditulis sendiri dan siap submit pada jurnal. PKM Workshop on Writing Classroom Action Research Articles for Teachers This service is carried out to provide alternative solutions to problems faced by teachers who experience problems in writing classroom action research articles and submitting them to journals as one of the requirements in proposing promotions. This service is carried out using the workshop method and writing assistance to submit to journals, where the devotees carry out joint activities with science subject teachers who are members of the Pontianak City MGMP. This activity is carried out offline and online. There were seven teachers who fully participated in this activity. Based on the series of activities that have been carried out, the teacher feels very helpful with the activities carried out, especially by assisting in writing class action research articles and submitting them to journals. The service found that so far there have been many teachers who were constrained in writing class action research articles and sumbits in journals due to lack of training and knowledge about article writing and submitting to journals. After the workshop and mentoring on writing classroom action research articles and submitting them to journals, four teachers can produce articles written by themselves and ready to be submitted to journals.
