Abstract

This research was conducted to determine the effect of learning motivation, socioeconomic status of parents, and peer environment on the interest in continuing education to higher education in class XII students at SMK N 14 Jakarta. The research method used is a quantitative research method with a descriptive approach. The population used in this study were all students of class XII SMK N 14 Jakarta consisting of 309 students. The number of samples selected using the proportional random sampling technique was 174 students. The research model uses a path analysis model and the data analysis technique used is SEM (Structural Equation Modeling) using the SmartPLS version 4 application. From the results of this study it is known that learning motivation and Peer environment has a positive and significant effect on the interest in continuing education to tertiary institutions. Socioeconomic status of parents has no effect on interest in continuing education to tertiary education. And all of independent variables, have an influence on the interest in continuing education to tertiary institutions.

Abstract

This research aims to explore and comprehend user experiences and interaction dynamics in the context of developing a Project-Based Learning (PBL) website for creative product and entrepreneurship education. Qualitative research methods were employed to gain in-depth insights into how students, educators, and other stakeholders experience and interpret the implementation of PBL through the website. The research subjects consisted of 11th-grade students in Online Business and Marketing (BDP) at SMK Negeri 12 Jakarta. The research approach involved data collection through in-depth interviews, participatory observation, and content analysis of interactions within the website. The findings indicate that the developed website received positive validation from media and content experts. Practitioner evaluations from teachers, the vice principal in charge of the curriculum, and student responses demonstrated high acceptance of the website. This research provides profound insights into user experiences and perceptions of PBL-based learning media, contributing significantly to the development of more contextual and project-based learning strategies in the field of education.

Abstract

This study was conducted with the aim of describing entrepreneurial practices, entrepreneurial readiness, and entrepreneurial interest in vocational high school students based on gender and expertise competencies at Public Vocational High School 22 Jakarta. The research method used in this study is quantitative descriptive method. The respondents used by researchers in this study were grade X students of SMK Negeri 22 Jakarta with an affordable population of 214 students. The sample selection in this study was determined using the Issac & Michael table with an error rate of 5% which found a sample of 135 students. The results of the description analysis of this study found that the variable of entrepreneurial practice had the largest mean value with a score of 4.275 and the lowest value with a score of 4.014. Followed by the variable of entrepreneurial readiness has the highest mean value with a score of 4.370 and the lowest value with a score of 3.986. And the variable of entrepreneurial interest has the largest mean value with a score of 4.341 and the lowest value with a score of 3.957.

Abstract

The objective of this study is to investigate the impact of entrepreneurship education and self-efficacy on the level of entrepreneurial engagement among students at vocational high school, employing qualitative methods and a literature review approach. The research synthesizes insights from diverse sources, including articles, existing literature, and relevant empirical studies. The results of the literature review suggest that entrepreneurship education plays a significant role in promoting students' intentions to become entrepreneurs. Exposure to entrepreneurial concepts within the school curriculum enhances students' knowledge and instills an entrepreneurial mindset. Additionally, the literature underscores the significance of self-efficacy in each student, playing a crucial role in their ability to effectively manage and operate business in the future.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menguji pengaruh Efektivitas Praktik Kerja Industri, Self-Efficacy (Efikasi Diri), dan Motivasi Kerja terhadap Kesiapan Kerja Siswa SMK. Metode pada penelitian ini yaitu menggunakan metode kuantitatif. Penelitian ini dilakukan di SMK Karya Guna Jakarta dan SMK 17 Agustus 1945 Jakarta, dengan populasi sebesar 250 siswa. Penelitian ini menggunakan teknik analisis data dengan bantuan SPSS versi 27. Hasil Penelitian menunjukkan bahwa terdapat pengaruh positif dan signifikan variabel Efektivitas Praktik Kerja Industri, Self-Efficacy (Efikasi Diri), dan Motivasi Kerja terhadap Kesiapan Kerja Siswa SMK.

Abstract

Di luar negeri, pekerja migran dari Indonesia sebagian besar bekerja sebagai pekerja rumah tangga. Mereka pergi ke luar negeri untuk mencari peluang ekonomi yang lebih baik. Namun, banyak dari mereka yang setelah selesai masa kontrak atau kembali ke tanah air tidak memiliki banyak tabungan. Oleh karena itu, mereka perlu mencari cara untuk mendapatkan penghasilan tambahan. Salah satu cara yang efektif adalah dengan meningkatkan kemampuan personal branding, terutama melalui media sosial. Kemampuan Personal branding yang kuat dapat membuka peluang baru bagi pekerja migran untuk mempromosikan diri melalui media sosial, yang semakin menjadi platform utama untuk berbagi informasi dan promosi. Pelatihan ini diadakan dengan tujuan untuk meningkatkan kemampuan citra diri para pekerja migran di Malaysia dan Qatar, sehingga memberikan dampak positif terhadap pengembangan karir dan penghasilan tambahan mereka. Tim pelaksana telah merancang materi pelatihan yang relevan dengan kebutuhan peserta berdasarkan analisis kebutuhan yang telah dilakukan. Materi pelatihan tentang personal branding di media sosial ini disusun khusus untuk memenuhi kebutuhan peserta, dengan menitikberatkan pada pentingnya personal branding, manfaatnya, serta tips dan trik untuk membangun personal branding yang dapat mendukung pengembangan karir di masa depan. Berdasarkan analisis hasil kuesioner dari 262 peserta, program pengabdian masyarakat menunjukkan tingkat kepuasan yang sangat tinggi. Keahlian pembicara menunjukkan tingkat kepuasan tinggi sebesar 4,37, diikuti oleh aspek komunikasi dan keterlibatan dengan skor masing-masing 4,32 dan 4,34. Relevansi materi serta layanan informasi mendapatkan skor 4,26 dan 4,30. Aspek fasilitas, waktu, pemahaman topik, dan implementasi keseluruhan acara masing-masing memperoleh skor rata-rata 4,24; 4,21; 4,11; dan 4,31. Secara keseluruhan, tingkat kepuasan peserta menunjukkan hasil yang sangat positif, mencerminkan kualitas dan efektivitas program yang tinggi.

Abstract

Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui hubungan antara brand extension dan kualitas produk dengan keputusan pembelian Asus Smartphone pada mahasiswa Fakultas Ekonomi Universitas Negeri Jakarta. Metode penelitian yang peneliti gunakan adalah metode survey dengan pendekatan korelasional, populasi yang digunakan adalah seluruh mahasiswa Fakultas Ekonomi Universitas Negeri Jakarta. Teknik pengambilan sampel yang digunakan adalah dengan teknik purposive sampling sebanyak 113 orang. Berdasarkan hasil analisis dan pembahasan diketahui bahwa terdapat hubungan positif dan signifikan antara brand extension dengan keputusan pembelian, terdapat hubungan positif dan signifikan antara kualitas produk dengan keputusan pembelian, serta terdapat hubungan yang positif dan signifikan antara brand extension dan kualitas produk dengan keputusan pembelian Asus Smartphone pada mahasiswa Fakultas Ekonomi Universitas Negeri Jakarta. The purpose of this study is to determine the correlation between brand extension and product quality with the purchase decision Asus Smartphone in Faculty Of Economic Student. The research method used is survey method with the correlation approach, population used are all student in The Faculty of Economics Student in State University of Jakarta. The sampling technique used technique of purposive sampling as many as 113 people. Based on the result of analysis and discussion, it is known that there is positive and significant correlation between brand extension and purchase decision, there is positive and significant correlation between product quality and purchase decision, and also there is positive and significant correlation between brand extension and product quality with the decision to purchase decision Asus Smartphone in Faculty of Economic Student, State University of Jakarta.

Abstract

This study aims to determine the influence of fieldwork practice, work motivation, and soft skills on job readiness. The population in this study consists of 248 twelfth-grade students from SMKN 6 Jakarta. The sample selection was determined using Slovin’s formula with a 5% margin of error, resulting in a sample of 153 respondents. This research employs quantitative data analysis techniques using a survey method, where data was collected through a questionnaire formatted in Google Forms. The findings reveal that fieldwork practice has a significant positive impact on job readiness. Additionally, work motivation also has a significant positive influence on job readiness. Similarly, soft skills have a significant positive effect on job readiness. Overall, fieldwork practice, work motivation, and soft skills collectively have a significant positive impact on job readiness. The coefficient of determination indicates that these three variables contribute 44.7% to job readiness, while the remaining percentage is influenced by other factors not examined in this study.

Abstract

This is a quantitative-research aimed to examine the influence of social media usage intensity, learning motivation, and time management on academic procrastination. The study involved a sample of 188 students from X and XI grades at SMKN 25 Jakarta, selected using proportional random sampling based on the Slovin formula. The data were analyzed using the SEM-PLS method with Smart PLS 4.0 software. The main objective of this research is to identify the effects of independent and dependent variables, both individually and collectively. To test these relationships, coefficient of determination, t-test, and F-test methods were used. The results of the hypothesis testing revealed that: (1) Intensity of Social Media Usage has a positive and significant effect on Academic Procrastination, (2) Learning Motivation has a negative and significant effect on Academic Procrastination, (3) Time Management has a negative and significant effect on Academic Procrastination, and (4) Collectively, Intensity of Social Media Usage, Learning Motivation, and Time Management have a significant impact on Academic Procrastination. Abstract

This study aims to determine the effectiveness of using business center in class X Online Business and Marketing at SMKN 50 Jakarta. The type of research is descriptive research with qualitative approach. Researchers obtain research data through interviews, observation, and documentation. There were 14 informants in this study consisting of school principals, vice principal, administrators business center, teaching staff, and 6 students. Based on research results, the effectiveness of using business center in class X Online Business and Marketing at SMKN 50 Jakarta has been effective, but there are several things that need attention because they have not run optimally. This is reviewed from several indicators of effectiveness which include: (1) input effectiveness of using business center considered effective, user business center are teachers and students. Facility business center is quite complete although there are still deficiencies. Spatial business center is neat enough and product placement is in accordance with its category. Management business center good enough and there is a clear organizational structure. (2) process effectiveness of using business center considered to be quite effective, practice activities were carried out in accordance with procedures even though standard operating procedures were not yet available in business center. There are some students who do not obey the rules. Practices take place according to a predetermined schedule. (3) output effectiveness of using business center considered to be effective, practice activities are running in accordance with procedures and objectives business center.
