Abstract

Sembalun Timba Gading Village is one of 6 villages in the Sembalun sub-district. The strategic location of the area makes Sembalun Timba Gading Village very suitable for developing agricultural, plantation and tourism potential. Almost all the people in Sembalun Timba Gading Village work as farmers, but there are some people who work as civil servants, tour operators, MSME movers, etc. However, most of the community's income comes from the agricultural sector. One of the leading commodities of Timba Gading Village is Beans, which are planted and harvested every year. Therefore, Beans is our main focus, in this case Desapreneur, to improve the quality of MSMEs through the development and marketing of processed Beans products.

Abstract

The growing concerns from consumers about the safety of conventional food products, which are produced through the use of chemical fertilizers and synthetic pesticides in agriculture, are discussed. The uncontrolled use of chemicals is leading to environmental pollution, such as soil and water contamination, and increasing chemical residues in food products. Additionally, pests and plant diseases are becoming more resistant to pesticides, forcing farmers to use more chemicals, which further increases the accumulation of harmful residues in food. This issue arises because many farmers do not yet understand proper agricultural practices, as outlined in Good Agricultural Practices (GAP). GAP is a certification system implemented to ensure that agricultural production processes use advanced, environmentally friendly, and sustainable technologies, ensuring that the products are safe for consumption, worker welfare is guaranteed, and farming provides economic benefits. However, the implementation of GAP in the field remains low due to high costs, complex procedures, and the limited socio-economic conditions of farmers. GAP is also crucial for restoring agricultural land that has been degraded by chemical use. The development of GAP for sustainable agriculture can be achieved through a SWOT strategy, which involves increasing training and demonstrations for farmers, submitting requests to the Food Security Agency (BKP) to improve extension facilities, enhancing knowledge and skills related to GAP, and increasing interaction with universities and research institutions.

Abstract

This study explores multidimensional science education's challenges and critically reviews philosophical aspects. The exploratory study was conducted by performing bibliometric analysis and literature reviews on the context related to the challenges of multidimensional science education from a philosophical perspective. Using data sources from SCOPUS and GOOGLE SCHOLAR, studies were found that align with multidimensional science education (studies that intersect with the application of disciplinary, multi-disciplinary, inter-disciplinary, and trans-disciplinary approaches). The literature review revealed challenges in science education, primarily related to pedagogical challenges. These pedagogical challenges are caused by the interdisciplinary nature inherent in science, thus requiring adequate adaptation of teachers' knowledge about science. The literature review uncovered effective pedagogy in science characterized by approaches that prioritize exploratory processes, authenticity, and a focus on encouraging critical thinking. In line with the principles of axiological philosophy in multidimensional science education, it is essential to prepare adequate pedagogical infrastructure to continue supporting efforts in developing contemporary and future science education. Ultimately, formulating effective pedagogy will serve as a foundation for teachers to impart meaningful and valuable science education from the perspective of axiological philosophy.

Abstract

This study aims to determine the effect of applying various concentrations of botanical pesticides derived from Virginia tobacco stem waste on the diversity of spiders in potato plants. The research was conducted in Sembalun Bumbung Village, Sembalun District, East Lombok Regency, West Nusa Tenggara Province. The method employed was an experimental method with field trials, using a Randomized Block Design (RBD) with six treatments: P0 (control), P1 (abamectin), P2 (Virginia tobacco stem extract 2 ml/L), P3 (Virginia tobacco stem extract 4 ml/L), P4 (Virginia tobacco stem extract 6 ml/L), and P5 (Virginia tobacco stem extract 8 ml/L). The experiment was conducted in three blocks, resulting in 18 experimental units. The results showed that the application of various concentrations of botanical pesticides from Virginia tobacco stem waste did not significantly affect spider diversity in potato plants. However, the P3 treatment (Virginia tobacco stem extract 4 ml/L) exhibited a higher tendency in population, diversity index, abundance index, and dominance index compared to other treatments.

Abstract

This study aims to determine the diversity, evenness, dominance and abundance of predatory arthropods in potato plants that have been applied with plant pesticides from tobacco stems and neem. This research was conducted in June-August 2022 on land owned by farmers in the Sembalun Bumbung area, Sembalun District. This study used an experimental method with field and laboratory experiments. The experimental design used in this study was RAK (Randomized Block Design) with 4 treatments (control, chemical pesticide abamectin, tobacco pesticide and neem pesticide) with 4 repetitions. Observations in the field were carried out 10 times with an interval of 1 time a week. The results of this study found 26 species of predatory arthropods belonging to 18 Families, 7 Orders and 2 Classes. The total number of individual predatory arthropods found was 662 individuals. The value of the diversity index (H') ranges from 1.59-1.88 which is classified as moderate. The value of the € evenness index ranges from 0.49-0.59 which is quite even. Dominance index values (D) ranged from 0.21-0.31 which indicated that no single species was too dominating. Abundance index (K) values ranged from 14,898-32,345 with the highest abundance in the neem plant pesticide treatment. The results of the ANOVA test analysis showed that all treatments had significant differences, so a BNJ (Honest Significant Difference) follow-up test was carried out with a level of 5%. Further test results showed no significant differences in diversity, evenness and dominance, but significantly different in abundance

Abstract

This study aims to determine the effect of several concentrations of botanical pestisides from virginia tobacco stem waste to the leaf-sucking pests (Thrips palmi) on potato plants. This exteriment was carried out from August to November 2020 in Sembalun Bumbung Village, Sembalun District, East Lombok Regency, West Nusa Tenggara. The method use in this study is an experimental method with field experiments and the design used is a Rendomized Block Design (RBD) with 6 treatments, P0 (control), P1 (abamectin), P2 (botanical pesticide of Virginia tobacco stem waste 2 ml/L), P3 (botanical pesticide of Virginia tobacco stem waste 4 ml/L), P4 (botanical pesticide of Virginia tobacco stem waste 6 ml/L) and P5 (botanical pesticide of Virginia tobacco stem waste 8 ml/L). each treatment had 3 replications so that 18 experimental plots were obtained. The result showed that the concentration of Virginia tobacco stem pesticide was more effective in controlling the populations of Thrips palmi than other Virginia tobacco stem pesticide concetrations. However, the Virginia tobacco stem waste botanical pesticide was not effective on controlling the intensity of T. palmi

Abstract

This study aims to determine the effect of vegetable pesticides from virginia tobacco stem waste on the diversity of the koksi beetle predators on potato plants. The method used is an experimental method with direct experiments in the field. The experimental design used was a randomized block design (RAK) with 6 treatments, namely P0 (control), P1 (abamectin), P2 (vegetable insecticide of Virginia tobacco stem waste 2 ml/l), P3 (vegetable insecticide of Virginia tobacco stem waste 4 ml/l). l), P4 (vegetable insecticide of Virginia tobacco stem waste 6 ml/l), and P5 (vegetable insecticide of Virginia tobacco stem waste 8 ml/l). This research was conducted in Sembalun Bumbung Village, Sembalun District, East Lombok Regency, West Nusa Tenggara from August 2020 to November 2020. The results showed that treatment at the concentration of P5 (vegetable pesticide from virginia tobacco stem waste 8 ml/l) showed a suppression value. The diversity and abundance index of the predators of the koksi beetle were the most influential compared to the treatment of several concentrations of other vegetable pesticides, while the application of botanical pesticides with various concentrations was not able to suppress the predatory population of the koksi beetle in the species Cheliomenes sexmaculata and Coccinella transveralis and was able to suppress the population of Coleophora inaqualis. Cheilomenes sexmaculata species has the highest population compared to the other 2 species.

Abstract

Augmented Reality sudah banyak diterapkan pada berbagai keperluan bisnis seiring perkembangan teknologi di bidang perangkat mobile. Tujuan penelitian ini menerapkan Augmented Reality pada studi kasus pada promosi penjualan yang dinilai kurang interaktif dan menarik, dengan sistem pengujian berdasarkan  standar ISO 25010 sehingga memudahkan konsumen melihat deskripsi dan contoh property keramik lantai, diperlukan visualisasi (3D) dengan menggunakan teknologi augmented reality. Pengembangan Aplikasi Augmented Reality (AR) ini menggunakan metode Research and Development (R&D) dengan pendekatan lanjutan model pengembangan air terjun dari (waterfall). Pengujian melibatkan karakteristik seperti Functional Suitability, Compatibility, Performance Efficiency, dan Usability. Hasil pengujian menunjukkan bahwa aplikasi ini berhasil memenuhi standar kualitas ISO 25010, dengan functional suitability dan compatibility mencapai persentase 100%, serta kinerja performance efficiency dengan waktu respon rata-rata sebesar 0,75 detik, dan untuk tingkat usability dalam Aplikasi Android yang dikembangkan memiliki nilai usability yang mudah dalam aspek-aspek Learnability, Efficiency, Memorability, Errors, dan Satisfaction

Abstract

Sembalun Bumbung Agro-Tourism, a renowned destination on Lombok Island, is celebrated for its stunning natural beauty and its agricultural tourism, attracting local, national, and international visitors. Demographically, the population of Sembalun Bumbung, especially among the younger generation (millennials), is increasing. This demographic shift brings various impacts, including changes in dietary habits and agricultural activities, particularly in relation to food diversification. Therefore, it is crucial to educate the millennial community in the Sembalun Bumbung Agro-Tourism area about healthy eating patterns based on food diversification. The objectives of this initiative are: 1) To implement a balanced nutrition plan through a safe and healthy diet, and 2) To promote the daily consumption of foods rich in carbohydrates, proteins, fats, vitamins, and minerals in appropriate portions and schedules. Through these educational activities, it is anticipated that the knowledge of the community, especially among millennials, regarding healthy eating patterns will improve. Consequently, they will become agents of change in their village, fostering a habit of consuming a diverse range of local foods to enhance the overall health of the local community
