Abstract

The giant corpse inflorescence (Amorphophallus titanum) is native to Indonesia. It is one of the flagships of The Center for Plant Conservation Bogor Botanic Gardens, Indonesian Institute of Sciences (LIPI) to raise public awareness for saving plants from extinction and caring the living environment. The blooming of the giant inflorescence attracts many visitors. Therefore, one of the research focuses of Amorphophallus titanum is how to predict the blooming-time in order to inform visitors earlier. The results of this study can be used as the basic information to predict the blooming of the inflorescences. Previous researchers had tried to predict the blooming based on firstly, the differential diagnostics of an inflorescence bud and leaf bud, and secondly, the growth pattern of the flowering bud from one individual sample only; whereas, our results suggested new findings. In this research, the prediction was examined from 2011-2012 on five individual samples planted in Bogor Botanic Gardens. We suggested that (1) the differential diagnostics of an inflorescence bud and leaf bud were not only based on the early bud shapes but also the growth rate, and (2) our results supported Lobin’s findings by providing a statistical formula for growth pattern of the flowering bud.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui adanya pengaruh penerapan pendekatanSAVI terhadap hasil belajar kimia siswa kelas XI SMAN 1 Tanjung Raja. Metode penelitianmenggunakan eksperimen semu (quasy experimental) dengan desain penelitian non equivalent(pretest and posttest) control group design. Populasi dalam penelitian ini adalah seluruh kelasXI IPA SMAN 1 Tanjung Raja. Sampel diambil menggunakan teknik cluster randomsampling. Berdasarkan hasil penelitian, diperoleh nilai rata-rata posttest kelas eksperimenadalah 76,159 dan kelas kontrol adalah 68,928. Nilai posttest kelas eksperimen dan kontrolberdistribusi normal dan kedua varians tergolong homogeny. Uji hipotesis menggunakan uji-tpada taraf signifikan 5%, diperoleh bahwa t(hitung) (3,041) > t(tabel) (2,000). Hasil analisis dataobservasi menunjukkan rata-rata aktivitas siswa kelas eksperimen sebesar 77,067% dan kelaskontrol 57,38%. Hal tersebut menunjukkan bahwa dengan menggunakan pendekatan SAVIdapat meningkatkan aktivitas siswa. Berdasarkan uji statistik, dapat disimpulkan bahwapendekatan SAVI berpengaruh terhadap hasil belajar kimia siswa kelas XI SMAN 1 TanjungRaja.

Abstract

Public servant represent one of is one of the tax subject, the public servant must have NPWP. The criterion for officer to make the NPWP minimum of faction is II A and officer of private sector that have income 1,1 million rupiah’s. Tax is foreign exchange of the country. Because of Public servant considered to be a dominant taxpayer, so Public servant obliged to have the NPWP. NPWP is an registration form that given by Office of tax service to the personal people or company that registering it’s self to be confirmed as taxpayer which is used as identification or identity of taxpayer. As administration tool’s, NPWP is important and useful for taxpayer and Office of tax service, so office of tax service try gift NPWP that can be conducted by easily and modestly. If the data have complete, so the NPWP can did only on thirty minute . For public servant  that do not execute this rule, it will be considered to be collision discipline of public servant  ( PP. Abstract

Terestrial orchid research has been conducted in the area of Sicike-cike Nature Park, North Sumatra. The research was conducted in with exploration method. No less than 12 types of terestrial orchids are found in this region, namely Spathoglottis plicata Blume, Spathoglottis aurea Lindl., Phaius callosus (Blume) Lindl., Calanthe triplicata Ames, Calanthe pulchra (Blume) Lindl., Calanthe chrysoglossoides J.J. Sm., Calanthe aurantiaca Ridl., Cymbidium ensifolium (L.) Sw., Arundina graminifolia (D.Don) Hochr., Neuwiedia zollingeri Rchb.f. var. zollingeri Rchb.f., Paphiopedilum tonsum (Rchb.f.) Stein, and Liparis sp. All types of orchids are then grown in the nursery of Samosir Botanical Gardens for ex-situnya conservation efforts. Two months after planting almost all species grow well, even some of them have produced flowers. Orchids A. graminifolia, S. aurea and S. plicata are the best-growing species.Key words : Terestrial orchid, Sicike-cike Nature Park, conservation, Samosir Botanical Garden

Abstract

Inventarisasi tumbuhan di kawasan mangrove Desa Wakai dan Desa Taningkola, Kecamatan Una Una, Kabupaten Tojo Una Una, Sulawesi Tengah telah dilakukan. Hasil penelitian mencatat setidaknya 33 jenis tumbuhan ditemukan di kawasan mangrove kedua desa tersebut, dimana 4 jenis diantaranya sudah termasuk langka menurut IUCN tahun 2012, yaitu Intsia bijuga (Colebr.) Kuntze, Acrostichum aureum L, Dolichandrone spathacea (L.f.) Seem. dan Lumnitzera littorea (Jack) Voigt. Bruguiera gymnorhiza (L.) Lam. dan Lumnitzera littorea (Jack) Voigt adalah jenis yang sering ditemukan di kedua lokasi. Sebagian besar jenis yang tumbuh di kawasan mangrove tersebut memiliki manfaat yang besar bagi kehidupan manusia.Key words : Tumbuhan, Mangrove, Desa Wakai dan Desa Taningkola, Sulawesi Tengah

Abstract

This study is exploratory in nature and tries to explain buying consumer behavior of environmental friendly product. Specifically, this study focuses on the antecedents and consequences of corporate social responsibility (CSR) strategy and its impact on marketing outcome using qualitative method. Information on identification of consumer’s buying decision process of green marketing products, types of CSR, and marketing outcomes based on customer’s perspectives are gathered through in-depth interview. Nine propositions in relation to the antecedents and consequences of corporate social responsibility strategy from customer perspectives proposed from this study are: (1) consumer perception of CSR activity objectives influences consumer evaluation on CSR activity; (2) consumer evaluation on CSR activity influences consumer buying decision; (3) CSR activity influences customer value; (4) CSR activity creates consumer skepticism toward company; (5) product-related CSR activity which directly impact on consumer will increase consumer attitude toward product; (6) CSR activity influences consumer perception on company’s and product’s image and increase company as well as brand reputation; (7) consumer judgment on CSR activity influences consumer loyalty; (8) consumer characteristics strengthen the impact of CSR toward consumer buying decision; (9) consumer culture of collectivism influences their attitude toward CSR activity and buying decision of environmental friendly product. Abstract

Research of Lycopodiaceae has been done in the area of forest Sicike-cike, North Sumatra. Research conducted in April 2011 with an exploratory method. Based on the results of the research there are 6 types of Lycopodiaceae found in this district namely Lycopodiella cernua, Huperzia phlegmaria, Huperzia carinata, Huperzia prolifera, Huperzia dalhousieana and Huperzia squarrosa. Lycopodiella cernua is the only type that grow terrestrial trunk that extends the length of the other 5 types, are being grown in a trunk dangling epiphyte. Huperzia carinata and Huperzia prolifera has a similar stature, Huperzia dalhousieana, was similar to that of Huperzia squarrosa. Huperzia phlegmaria is the only type that has the area between the sterile and part fertile clearly visible, are other types of area between the sterile and part fertile there is a gradual change.Key words: Lycopodiaceae, Sicike-cike, North Sumatra
