Abstract

This research was made to educate various parties or the public regarding work stress or preassure in the Indonesian Police agency. The results of the study prove that work stress in the police can be caused by several factors such as excessive working hours, job demands,lack of competent human resources and so on. It’s the responsibility of officials from the Indonesian police to provide stress management for police officers. Countermeasures for police work stress can be done by assisting with psychologists or psychiatrists adjusting work demands, and adjusting leadership styles in Indonesian police officers.

Abstract

The police play an important role in the life of the state. In general, the police's job is to maintain peace, maintain tranquility, protect the state, protect the community, and be ready if the community experiences difficulties. Currently, there are many cases of police officers whose work is no longer in line with what the community and their organization expect. The aim is to determine the motivation of police officers for their performance which includes leadership style and work environment. The method we used in preparing this research was Library Research. Data collection uses the Google Scholar search engine to obt ain data. The research results show that motivation, leadership style, and work environment are very important for police performance. Motivation helps utilize resources and maintain stability, while leadership style motivates performance through rewards and recognition. A conducive work environment also influences performance by 63.7%.

Abstract

In the context of responsibility, they are not only responsible for law enforcement, but also for the welfare of the community they serve. Police responsibilities include protecting human rights, preventing crime, handling crises, and supporting fair judicial processes. This research aims to determine or explore the dynamics of workload and responsibilities faced by police in carrying out their duties. Police workload has become a significant subject of concern in law enforcement, as they are faced with a variety of tasks that include patrolling, crime investigations, apprehension of criminals, as well as administrative tasks such as completing reports and administering cases. The challenges that police officers face in carrying out their workload and responsibilities include limited resources, psychological stress, and risks to personal safety. However, research also shows that strong organizational support, ongoing training, and stress management strategies can help police overcome these challenges more effectively and that a better understanding of police workload and responsibilities is an important step in improving the quality of enforcement services law. law and police welfare. With a holistic approach and the right support, the police can be more effective in carrying out their duties to maintain community peace and achieve justice.

Abstract

Effective handling of social conflicts requires a holistic and humanist approach, especially from law enforcement agencies such as the National Police. The reorientation of the National Police's role in handling social conflicts emphasizes fair, transparent and accountable law enforcement. This research highlights the importance of the National Police adopting preventive and proactive strategies to detect and prevent conflict early through partnerships with the community and related organizations. A humanist law enforcement approach that respects human rights is also a main focus, with the aim of not only overcoming conflict but also providing long-term solutions. Apart from that, increasing the capacity and competence of Polri personnel through continuous training is very necessary so that they are better prepared and professional in dealing with conflict situations. Strong collaboration between government agencies and non-government institutions as well as the use of advanced information technology were also identified as key factors in increasing the effectiveness of handling social conflicts by the National Police. With the right reorientation, the National Police can play a more effective role in maintaining security, public order, and supporting the creation of peace and social justice in Indonesia. Reorientation of the role of POLRI must be carried out immediately in resolving conflicts. Another goal is to understand strategies and mechanisms for handling social conflict to achieve peace in line with legal demands, democratization, justice and truth, and human rights. The research results found that in handling social conflict, POLRI as law enforcers tasked with maintaining domestic security are required to have professional and proportional expertise and skills that are in line with legal demands, democratization, justice and truth, as well as human rights.

Abstract

Conflict is one type of conflict that can cause dissatisfaction and harm organizational performance. Conflict can be divided into functional conflict and dysfunctional conflict. Functional conflict can help improve decisions and creativity, and functional conflict can cause dysfunction and harm organizational performance. There are two types of conflict, namely functional conflict which can help improve decision making and creativity, and dysfunctional conflict which can cause conflict and damage organizational performance. In this article, we will discuss types of conflict and how they can lead to conflict in organizations.

Abstract

This study examines the urgency of emotional intelligence on aggressiveness in police officers in the Indonesian police force. Aggressiveness in the form of physical and verbal can be caused by several internal factors and external factors. Emotional intelligence is an individual's ability to regulate and manage emotions that are believed to influence individual aggressive behavior. This research method uses a case study method and literature study to examine the urgency between emotional intelligence and aggressiveness in police officers. The results of this study indicate that emotional intelligence is very important for every police officer to control emotions or feelings, be calm, persuasive and able to provide the best service to the community as expected by the community.

Abstract

This study aims to determine the effect of communication, group cooperation, leadership and decision making on the performance of police officers (case study in the Secretariat Unit of the North Sumatra Regional Police). The results of the study that the Communication variable has no significant effect on the Police Member Performance variable. That the Group Cooperation variable has a significant effect on the Police Member Performance variable. That the Leadership variable has no significant effect on the Police Member Performance variable. That the Decision Making variable has a significant effect on the Police Member Performance variable That Communication, Group Cooperation, Leadership, and Decision Making have a significant effect together (simultaneously) on the Police Member Performance variable. Seeing the results of this study which shows that Group Cooperation and Decision Making are good. So the North Sumatra Regional Police Secretariat Unit is expected to continue to maintain Group Cooperation and Decision Making in order to improve the Performance of Police Members which of course will also have a positive impact on the North Sumatra Regional Police Secretariat Unit.

Abstract

Pada penelitian ini membahas mengenai kecemasan mahasiswa akhir dalam dunia kerja. Dalam menghadapi dunia kerja mahasiswa perlu banyak menyiapkan bekal untuk kesiapannya dalam menjalani kehidupan setelah lulus dari perguruan tinggi. Tantangan dunia kerja yang akan dihadapi mahasiswa setelah lulus dari perguruan tinggi dapat memunculkan perasaan negatif, salah satunya yaitu kecemasan. Hasil pada penelitian ini adalah terdapat pengaruh kepercayaan diri terhadap kecemasan dalam menghadapi dunia kerja pada mahasiswa semester akhir. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui pengaruh kepercayaan diri terhadap kecemasan dalam menghadapi dunia kerja pada mahasiswa semester akhir. Jumlah sampel penelitian ini sebanyak 110 responden pada mahasiswa yang memiliki kriteria responden yaitu Laki Laki dan Perempuan, Mahasiswa Aktif Semester Akhir dan kuliah di Kota Bekasi. Hasil dari penelitian dari uji korelasi yang dilakukan menggunakan Spearman diatas menunjukkan nilai koefisien korelasi sebesar -0.534** dengan taraf signifikansi sebesar 0.000 (sig < 0.05). Dapat diartikan bahwa adanya hubungan yang negatif antara kepercayaan diri dengan kecemasan, dengan kekuatan korelasi -0.534** yang berarti tingkat kekuatan hubungannya cukup. dapat disimpulkan bahwa hipotesis alternatif (Ha) diterima dan hipotesis nihil (Ho) ditolak. Sehingga dapat diartikan bahwa terdapat hubungan antara kepercayaan diri dengan kecemasan pada mahasiswa akhir aktif yang ada di Kota Bekasi. Adapun bentuk hubungannya adalah negatif yang menandakan semakin tinggi kepercayaan diri yang dimiliki mahasiswa maka semakin rendah kecemasan mahasiswa tersebut dan sebaliknya semakin rendah kepercayaan diri yang dimiliki mahasiswa maka semakin tingginya kecemasan dari mahasiswa tersebut.

Abstract

Lingkungan kerja non fisik merupakan salah satu aspek yang harus di perhatikan dalam sebuah organisasi atau perusahaan karna hal ini akan berpengaruh pada kepuasan kerja. Lingkungan kerja non fisik adalah lingkungan kerja yang tidak dapat ditangkap dengan panca indera manusia tetapi dapat dirasakan oleh para pekerja atau karyawan melalui hubungan-hubungan sesame pekerja maupun atasan. Kepuasan kerja merupakan suatu sikap, persepsi atau emosi yang dimiliki seseorang terhadap pekerjaannya. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui apakah terdapat pengaruh antara lingkungan kerja non fisik terhadap kepuasan kerja pada karyawan perusahaan X. metode yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah analisis regresi linear dengan pendekatan kuantitatif. Samppel dalam penelitian ini berjumlah 95 responden yang dipilih menggunakan teknik quota sampling. Hasil dalam penelitian ini menunjukan nilai R Square sebesar 0,876 atau dapat diartikan sebagai 87,6%. Nilai tersebut memberi penjelasan bahwa lingkungan kerja non fisik sebagai variabel bebas mempengaruhi kepuasan kerja sebagai variabel terikat sebesar 87,6% sedangkan 12,4% dipengaruhi oleh variabel lain yang tidak dijelaskan dalam penelitian. Hasil penelitian ini menunjukan bahwa terdapat pengaruh positif dan signifikan antara lingkungan kerja non fisik terhadap kepuasan kerja pada karyawan perusahaan X.

Abstract

Kepolisian Republik Indonesia salah satu contoh badan yang menangani konflik di masyarakat umumnya, hal tersebut kepolisian harus mempunyai suatu kekuatan  hukum yang kuat dan dinamis namun terlindungi oleh Undang Undang akibatnya organisasi tersebut akan sulit mencapai tujuan yang sesuai dengan visi dan misinya. Konflik dilakukan melalui proses pengumpulan, pendokumentasian, dan pengklasifikasian berbagai kemungkinan konflik yang mungkin timbul dari isu-isu yang berkaitan dengan politik, ekonomi, dan sosial budaya. Konflik merupakan bagian yang tidak bisa dihindari dalam peradaban manusia. Tidak ada masyarakat yang luput dari konflik, baik itu perselisihan internal antar anggotanya maupun konflik dengan kelompok masyarakat lain. Penting untuk disadari bahwa konflik hanya akan hilang jika komunitas itu sendiri juga tidak ada. Tujuan penulis dalam esai ini adalah untuk memberikan wawasan dalam menyelesaikan perselisihan di dalam suatu perusahaan, dengan tujuan agar perselisihan tersebut tidak memberikan dampak yang merugikan namun justru membawa pada ilmu dan keuntungan bagi bisnis.
