Abstract

ABSTRACT Chronic kidney failure (CKD) is a disease that can cause death. This disease is a disease caused by a decrease in kidney function so that the metabolic balance of fluids in the body is disrupted. Hemodialysis is one of the therapies most commonly used by chronic kidney failure patients to maintain kidney function. Indonesia is a developing country where many cases of chronic diseases are found which lead to death. One of these chronic diseases is chronic kidney disease, this disease experiences an increase in the number of patients every year so that it becomes one of the factors of death in the world. The aim of this study is to determine the most common risk factors that occur in CKD patients at Bahteramas RSU in 2021-2022 who are undergoing hemodialysis therapy. This research uses a quantitative study with a case control design. The results of the study showed that primary glomerulopathy was caused by 1.7%, diabetes mellitus in 10%, hypertension in 84.1%, polycystic kidney and gout neuropathy in 0.9%, and other causes in 2.1%. Based on these results, it can be concluded that the largest risk factor is the presence of hypertension in 345 cases with a percentage of 84.1%. Hemodialysis therapy carried out by patients can have bad effects if there is a lack of knowledge about this therapy. So it is necessary to carry out health promotion for chronic kidney failure patients with hemodialysis therapy. Keywords: chronic kidney failure, hemodialysis, risk factors

Abstract

ABSTRACT A musculoskeletal disorder caused by poor ergonomics is low back pain (LBP). Transportation workers generally use their bodies as a means of transportation, such as hauling, carrying, or transporting. Most construction industry workers still use human labor to move goods or materials. This review was processed through a systematic process that was certainly adapted to the Preferred Reporting Items for Systematic Review (PRISMA) stages. Google Scholar was used due to its ease of access as well as the large amount of literature that can be accessed for free. The articles were selected based on publications which were published in the time period from 2018 to 2022. Only 4 studies were selected from 273 publications that identified based on inclusion and eligibility criteria. The studies were conducted in Gwiyang market of Yogyakarta, Bandung, North Sumatra, and Malang Regency. In this systematic review, it is known from the four journals that the factors causing Low Back Pain complaints include work position, workload, physical intensity, and length of work. Workplace position, workload, physical intensity, and length of service all have a significant impact on the prevalence of low back pain. It is hoped that this systematic review will provide workers with advice to pay attention to their position while working, stretch their body muscles when they begin to feel tired, use the proper lifting position, adjust physical abilities, and apply a good and proper way of working so that there is no excessive workload that can interfere with workers' health. Abstract

ABSTRACT Dengue hemorrhagic fever transmitted through the Aedes aegypti mosquito vector is still an important health problem in the world. Particularly in Indonesia, dengue hemorrhagic fever was first recognized in 1968 in DKI Jakarta and Surabaya and continued to spread to thirty-three provinces in Indonesia. The epidemiologic pattern of dengue infection changes from year to year, with the number of cases peaking every 10-year cycle. Epidemiological surveillance is a very important activity in supporting the control and management of infectious diseases, including dengue control and management activities. The purpose of this study was to determine how to evaluate the efficiency of epidemiological surveillance of dengue hemorrhagic fever. This research uses the literature study method. The results obtained from several studies related to the relationship between the effectiveness of the implementation of epidemiological monitoring and the reduction in the number of DHF cases. The relationship between data collection and the quality of surveillance implementation. And evaluation of the existing dengue surveillance system in Indonesia. There is a strong correlation between good monitoring and case reduction, as well as a close relationship between accurate data collection and the quality of surveillance implementation. The evaluation of the surveillance system in Indonesia revealed challenges that must be overcome to improve efficiency and effectiveness in addressing the risk of DHF. Sustainable and holistic solutions are needed to strengthen the infrastructure and capacity of Indonesia's dengue epidemiological surveillance system. Abstract

ABSTRACT This review article discusses how heat stress can impact persons who work outside or indoors with poor air quality, and how it can lead to medical concerns. Heat-related illness (HRI) is a complaint or clinical sickness caused by the body's inability to control its internal temperature as a result of excessive heat exposure and inadequate heat removal. There are several types of heat-related diseases, ranging from mild symptoms like heat edema, heat rush, and heat cramps to more serious problems like heat exhaustion and deadly scenarios like heart attack, which is a medical emergency. Numerous risk factors, such as the physical, chemical, biological, physiological, and psychological conditions of the personnel and their environment, might exacerbate this predicament. Heatstroke is the most serious form of heat-related illness, characterized by a body temperature of greater than 40°C and a diagnosis of nervous system failure. Internal and external factors impact the risk of heatstroke. The aim of this research is to describe health and safety concerns, as well as illnesses and heatstroke. A descriptive design and a literature review approach are used in this study. The papers for this review were obtained from the journal databases PubMed and Google Scholar. Based on the articles analyzed in the literature. Extreme heat can harm internal organs, causing heart muscle cell and blood artery collapse, organ damage, and death, it is possible to infer that basic knowledge on heatstroke must be provided in order to avoid illness or problems with health and safety in everyday life.
