Abstract

Writing is one of skills to express ideas, feelings, and thoughts in the form of words to create sentences by paying attention to several punctuation. Brainstorming technique plays a significant part not only in the writing process of idea generation but also in fostering students' creativity, especially in producing descriptive texts. The purpose of this study is to determine the effect of brainstorming techniques on the students’ writing skill of the tenth grade at SMA Negeri 7 Kediri. The method used in this study was quantitative method with pre-experimental design by using pretest and post-test. The population of this study was the tenth grade students of SMA Negeri 7 Kediri and the sample was taken from class X- ECP 2 consisting of 32 students. The technique of collecting data used was pretest, treatment, post-test and it will be analyzed by using t-test through SPSS version 23. The results of this present study showed that Brainstorming technique had significant impact on the students’ writing skill of the tenth grade at SMAN 7 Kediri. It can be seen that pretest was higher than post-test with the mean value of pretest was 61.47 and the mean value of post-test was 83.06. The standard deviation of pretest was 13.320 while standard deviation of post-test was 6.101. Finally, this research will be useful in the teaching writing. The research can be useful to the teachers, students and the readers.

Abstract

Hemodialisis (HD) adalah pilihan utama dalam perawatan pada pasien penyakit ginjal kronis (PGK). Sejak menjalani HD pasien biasanya mengalami dua kanulasi di fistula mereka dua kali per minggu dan mengalami nyeri jarum setidaknya 192 kali setahun. Nyeri pada pemasangan arteriovena fistula (AVF) merupakan sumber ketidaknyamanan yang dirasakan pasa pasien dalam menjalankan perawatan kesehatan. Tujuan penulisan ini adalah untuk mengetahui penurunan intensitas nyeri pemasangan arteriovena fistula pada pasien hemodialisis menggunakan teknik  valsava  meneuver. Jenis studi kasus ini adalah analisis deskriptif dengan metode singlecase . Subyek dalam studi kasus ini sebanyak 1 pasien dengan mengukur intensitas nyeri sebelum dan sesudah dilakukan valsava meneuver pada duakali periode hemodialisis dengan menggunakan instrumen numerical pain rating scale. Nyeri yang dialami subyek studi kasus sebelum tindakan valsava meneuver berada diskala 6 sedangkan nyeri yang dirasakan setelah tindakan valsava meneuver berada diskala 4. Valsava meneuver yang dilakukan dapat menurunkan intensitas nyeri pemasangan AVF pada pasien yang menjalani hemodialisis. Valsava meneuver dapat diterapkan pada pasien yang menjalani hemodialisis sebagai tindakan nonfarmakologis untuk menurunkan intensitas nyeri pemasangan AVF.

Abstract

Multiculturalism education has been widely studied with different scientific perspectives. Islamic boarding schools as educational organizations have an alternative side in completing their learning cycle, which lies in the framework that is implemented, including perceiving diversity (pluralism, respecting equality/balance, creating resilience, and respecting human qualities. This multicultural learning is basically a learning system designed to create an informed and educated society, not the general public which avoids existing cultural and son''social factors. The model applied by Islamic boarding schools in multicultural learning among students is very varied. Multicultural education in Islamic boarding schools varies greatly. The kiai's insights and ideas regarding Islam that is inclusive, tolerant, moderate, and harmonious bring pesantren and their students to obtain Islam that is friendly and rahmatan lil'alamin, not an Islam that is rigid and radical towards adherents of other religions and also towards developing cultures. around the boarding school. Abstract

Saat ini mayarakat khususnya para siswa di SDN Tembok Dukuh IV Surabaya diresahkan oleh maraknya perilaku perundungan atau biasa disebut dengan bullying. Faktor utama penyebab tindakan ini adalah kurangnya pemahaman siswa mengenai dampak perundungan tersebut. Perundungan dapat memiliki dampak serius pada kesejahteraan mental, emosional, kehidupan sosial hingga gangguan psikologis. Oleh karena itu, pencegahan anti-perundungan melalui sosialisasi menjadi sebuah keharusan, hal tersebut bertujuan untuk menciptakan lingkungan belajar yang kondusif dan mendukung pertumbuhan positif bagi seluruh siswa. Isi dari sosialisasi yang telah diberikan yaitu mengenai konsep pencegahan perundungan dan kekerasan seksual. Pada akhir kegiatan, para siswa dapat menjawab beberapa pertanyaan yang diberikan oleh penulis, yang mana pertanyaan tersebut ditujukan untuk mengetahui sejauh mana pemahaman para siswa tentang materi yang telah disampaikan.

Abstract

Penelitian ini menggambarkan karakter utama dalam novel Kado Terbaik karya J.S. Khairen, yang menghadapi berbagai tantangan dalam kehidupannya. Tokoh utama memiliki beragam pengalaman emosional dan peristiwa hidup yang mempengaruhi cara dia berinteraksi dengan dunia di sekitarnya. Peserta didik dapat menggunakan penelitian ini sebagai dasar untuk mengambil sikap dalam pembelajaran atau kehidupan sehari-hari. Penelitian ini bertujuan mendeskripsikan :(1) mekanisme pertahanan ego, (2) relevansi bahan ajar novel Kado Terbaik karya J.S Khairen di kelas X SMA. Teknik pengumpulan data penelitian ini adalah teknik baca dan catat. Teknik analisis data penelitian ini adalah teknik analisis isi. Hasil penelitian untuk membuktikan bahwa novel Kado Terbaik karya J.S Khairen terdapat mekanisme pertahanan, penulis menggunakan 9 kategori mekanisme pertahanan oleh Sigmund Freud, pertama digambarkan 6% agresi: pertahanan Rizki dalam mengahadapi masalah dengan melampiaskan rasa kecewa dengan melakukan tindakan kriminal, 6% denial: pertahanan Rizki yang tidak mau menerima fakta atau kenyataan kalau dia maling, 20% sublimasi: pertahanan Rizki dengan mengarahkan rasa emosi yang ia terima menjadi sebuah motivasi untuk dirinya, 6% displacement (pengalihan): pertahanan diri yang mengarahkan emosi atau frustasi kearah yang tidak mengancam, 9% proyeksi: pertahanan diri yang melibatkan orang lain untuk menuangkan rasa emosi, 16% reaksi: pertahanan diri yang mendorong alam bawah sadar untuk menembus alam sadar dengan melakukan hal yang bertolak belakang, 17% represi: pertahanan diri yang memaksa perasaan-perasaan yang tidak sesuai atau yang membuatnya tidak nyaman, 13% fantasi: pertahanan diri abstrak yang diharapkan dapat terwujud, 6% rasionalisasi: pertahanan diri dengan berusaha untuk membenarkan segala tindakan-tindakan baik terhadap diri sendiri ataupun kepada orang lain. Relevansi bahan ajar novel Kado Terbaik karya J.S Khairen di kelas X SMA dilaksanakan dengan metode Project Based Learning. dengan menggunakan ATP 10.12 Peserta didik mengidentifikasi, menganalisis, menilai karakterisasi dan alur cerita, menilai akurasi penggambaran keragaman masyarakat, dan memprediksi dinamika pemikiran maupun tindakan tokoh pada teks naratif.

Abstract

Science process skills are skills in which student’s thinking skills are trained. The purpose of this study was to determine the level of science process skills at SMPN 2 Geger in terms of environmental pollution. The type of research used is descriptive quantitative non-expperimental. The research population was all students of class VII SMPN 2 Geger. Sampling using saturated sampling technique. The sample used in this study was 20 students of class VII SMPN 2 Geger. The instrument used was a test of student’s science process skills in the environmental pollution sub-material in the form of 12 essay questions. The research results obtained show that the average each student is included in the low category, with an average value of 32%.

Abstract

Pendidikan anak usia dini didefinisikan sebagai pendidikan yang dimulai dari saat lahir sampai usia delapan tahun. Masa ini merupakan awal perkembangan fisik, kognitif, bahasa, keterampilan sosial emosional, konsep diri, disiplin, kemandirian, seni, moral dan nilai-nilai agama. Oleh karena itu, perilaku positif harus dikembangkan sejak dini. Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah untuk mengeksplorasi pengaruh penggunaan media buku bergambar terhadap perilaku positif anak usia 5 tahun. Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian kualitatif dengan menggunakan metode hermeneutik Metode wawancara dan observasi dilakukan pada dua orang guru TK di Banda Aceh. Temuan penelitian ini menemukan bahwa penggunaan media buku bergambar dapat merangsang kemampuan berpikir tingkat tinggi anak. Penelitian ini juga menemukan keefektifan media buku bergambar untuk pengembangan perilaku positif anak yaitu kemandirian, kedisiplinan, kreativitas dan toleransi.

Abstract

This study aims to examine the effectiveness of muhadarah activities in enhancing public speaking skills among students at Pondok Pesantren Roudlotut Tholibin Kademangan Probolinggo. Muhadarah, as a public speaking exercise focused on delivering sermons or speeches, is an essential part of the educational curriculum in pesantren. Public speaking skills are deemed crucial for students as preparation to become competent leaders and communicators in society. This research adopts a qualitative approach with a case study method in a pesantren setting. Data was collected through observation, interviews, and document analysis. The findings indicate that consistent practice of muhadarah helps students improve their confidence, effective communication skills, and ability to organize and deliver messages clearly. Muhadarah activities play a vital role in shaping students' speaking abilities while reinforcing religious and social values beneficial for daily life. The study recommends strengthening the muhadarah program as part of a sustainable educational strategy in pesantren.

Abstract

The decline in students' morality in the modern era has become a pressing concern, particularly in the field of education. One potential approach to addressing this issue is through the implementation of a religious culture. This study seeks to examine how religious culture is applied to mitigate the decline in students' morals at SMK Negeri 2 Probolinggo. This research employs a qualitative descriptive method, gathering data through interviews, observations, and document analysis. The results indicate that implementing religious culture at SMK Negeri 2 Probolinggo is part of the school’s strategic efforts. These efforts include activities such as congregational prayers, religious study sessions, spiritual development programs, and the integration of religious values into academic subjects and extracurricular activities. Furthermore, the school’s supportive environment, which promotes religious practices and adherence to moral norms, significantly contributes to shaping students' character. In conclusion, the adoption of religious culture has demonstrated a positive influence in enhancing students' moral conduct and reinforcing their sense of social responsibility.

Abstract

The purpose of this study is to show the principal's efforts to innovate the learning experience of P5 students through experiential learning. The principal's innovation develops the learning experience of P5 students with experiential learning stimulation, namely students are able to integrate Pancasila values ​​in everyday life, such as faith, noble character, and mutual cooperation, independence; strong character (unity and humanity); development of competence as active world citizens; able to solve problems in various conditions; and Demonstrate responsibility, independence and concern for issues around the environment. The learning process designed by the teachers makes students enjoy teaching and learning activities, so that learning time is really used optimally. The aspects of learning development are: 1) maximizing the classroom learning structure, 2) creating, teaching, reviewing, monitoring, and reinforcing learning expectations/rules, 3) actively involving students, 4) using a series of strategies to respond to expected student behavior, and 5) using a series of strategies to weaken unexpected student behavior.
