Abstract

Claimed by some to be a successful policy tool to connect education with the industrial world, a body of research has documented issues on adapting and adopting the National Qualifications Framework (NQF), a worldwide policy phenomenon. However, there are fewer studies on implementing this framework in initial teacher education (ITE). Therefore, to fill this gap, this paper explores and contextualises the enactment of NQF within the ITE sector from a curriculum ergonomics perspective, a novice concept of analysis on the interactions between curriculum design and its use. This paper contributes to the existing research on curriculum studies, especially in the ITE sector. Implications and recommendations are also discussed.

Abstract

Head injury is one of the main causes of death and disability in the productive age group and most occur due to traffic accidents. Patients with a head injury can experience permanent damage to brain tissue or secondary injuries such as brain ischemia due to hypoxia, hypercapnia, hyperglycemia or electrolyte imbalance, even respiratory failure and heart failure. The head injury patients are initially examined using a standardized scoring system to assess the consciousness level of patients with impaired consciousness, namely the Glasgow coma scale (GCS). One of the possible treatments for decreasing intracranial pressure (ICP) and cerebral perfusion managements to position the patients with a head elevation of 15˚-30˚. This treatment aimed  to increase venous drainage from the head and to reduce systemic blood pressure that may be compromised by cerebral perfusion pressure. This study aimed to determine the effect of giving oxygen through a simple mask and the 30˚ head elevation position to the changes of the consciousness level for the patients witha head injury in the emergency department at Dr. Kariadi Hospital, Semarang. This study was quasi-experimental research without control with pre-test and post-test one-group design with used a sample of 23 respondents. The instrument used an observation sheet containing the GCS examination results and analyzed using the Wilcoxon test. Based on the results of the bivariate analysis using the Wilcoxon correlation test, a p-value of 0,000 <0,05 was obtained so it could be concluded that the H0 is accepted. Therefore, giving oxygen through simple masks and patient positioning with 30˚ head elevation affect the consciousness level of head injury patients at Dr. Kariadi Hospital, Semarang.

Abstract

Pemasaran digital dinilai efisien dan efektif untuk menghadapi persaingan produk lokal dan internasional. Saat ini, yang paling populer adalah pemasaran digital di sosial media khususnya. Pengabdian masyarakat ini bertujuan untuk memberikan pelatihan kepada UMKM sehingga diharapkan dapat menguasai teknik pemasaran digital untuk meningkatkan penjualan dan citra produk. Teknik-teknik ini termasuk pemasaran konten, otomatisasi konten, dan pemasaran e-commerce. Metode yang digunakan dalam pelaksanaan kegiatan pengabdian ini adalah metode ceramah, praktik, dan penugasan. Kegiatan ini dilaksanakan pada 23 Februari 2024. Hasil dari kegiatan pengabdian ini adalah anggota PKK telah mulai mempelajari pemasaran digital secara mandiri, tanpa bergantung pada bantuan terus-menerus dari sekelompok orang yang berdedikasi. pelatihan pemasaran digital telah mampu mendorong anggota komunitas untuk berpartisipasi secara proaktif dalam menghadapi perubahan lingkungan bisnis. Hasil ini menunjukkan bahwa tindakan yang diambil dalam pelatihan pemasaran digital memiliki dampak yang signifikan pada bisnis mereka.

Abstract

Students learning experiences are affected by the spread of Covid-19 in cognitive, affective, and behavioral domains. This research investigates the university students' experience using the Microsoft Teams application in online learning during the Covid-19 Pandemic. The experience includes their perception, problems, and how they use Microsoft Teams daily. It is descriptive quantitative research under a case study. The participants were 97 university students consisting of 50 female and 47 male students spread over various universities. The data collection techniques were questionnaires and five open-ended questions. The questionnaires were analyzed using the Likert scale through SPSS (Statistical Package for the Social Sciences), while five open-ended questions were analyzed using the content analysis technique. The results showed that the students had a good experience using Microsoft Teams. They also have much improvement in English skills, especially in speaking skills. However, they needed help using Microsoft Teams, had unstable internet connections, and found it hard to improve their reading skills. Nonetheless, students hope that this application will continue to be used during online learning with some improvements so that learning using this application can take place more effectively and efficiently. This study implies that Microsoft Teams can support English skill development in an online learning environment.

Abstract

Teknik massage olahraga merupakan salah satu metode pemeliharaan kondisi fisik yang semakin diakui dalam dunia kesehatan dan olahraga. Dengan menguasai teknik yang tepat, massage olahraga dapat menjadi alat yang efektif dalam menjaga kesehatan fisik dan mental para atlet. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui Tingkat Pemahaman Tentang Teknik Massage Olahraga Untuk Pencegahan dan Pemulihan Cedera pada Mahasiswa Olahraga STKIP PGRI Bangkalan. Penelitian yang dilakukan secara survei dengan teknik pengumpilan data menggunakan kisioner yang disebarkan pada mahasiswa berupa angket. Data yang didapat dari hasil secara keseluruhan diukur berdasarkan angket yang disebar pada mahasiswa sebanyak 50 soal dengan rentang sekor 0-1 diperoleh nilai maksimal sebanyak sekor 50 nilai tertinggi, sedangkan nilai minimum adalah 19, nilai rata-rata(mean) 31,18/50 poit, median =30/50 dan rentang point 19-50. Berdasarkan hasil dari penelitian diatas tentang pemahaman mahasiswa tentang teknik massage olahraga yang masuk pada katagori baik sekali hanya berjumlah 1 orang dengan nilai 50, pada katagori baik 2 orang dengan nilai 41-45, pada kategori cukup 12 orang dengan nilai 30-37 point, katagori kurang 12 orang dengan nilain 23-29 point, katagori sangat kurang 1 orang dengan nilai 19 poit. Kesimpulan penelitian ini bahwa pemahaman mahasiswa dalam kategori kurang.

Abstract

Abstrak: Kurangnya penggunaan media berbasis teknologi materi sistem tata surya, mengakibatkan rendahnya keterlibatan dan pemahaman siswa. Tujuan penelitian adalah mengetahui kevalidan, kepraktisan, dan keefektifan media. Metode dalam penelitian ini menggunakan R&D (Research and Development), dengan model ADDIE, yaitu Analisis, Desain, pengembangan, Implementasi dan Evaluasi. Teknik penggumpulan data dengan observasi, wawancara dan tes. Teknik observasi dilakukan dengan terjun ke lapangan secara langsung, teknik wawancara dilakukan dengan memberikan pertanyaan kepada guru kelas, dan teknik tes dilakukan dengan memberikan soal evaluasi.. Instrumen yang digunakan berupa lembar angket validasi ahli materi dan media, lembar angket respon siswa dan guru, dan soal tes siswa.. Hasil penelitian uji kevalidan media 88% dan validasi materi 90%. Hasil uji kepraktisan guru 92% dan 93,5% kepraktisan siswa. Hasil uji keefektivan 87,5 % uji coba terbatas dan 80% uji coba luas .maka dapat disimpulkan bahwa media pembelajaran animasi 3D layak digunakan sebagai media pembelajaran materi sistem tata surya kelas VI.Abstract: The lack of use of technology-based media regarding solar system material, results in low student involvement and understanding. The aim of this research is to determine the validity, practicality and effectiveness of the media. The method in this research uses R&D (Research and Development), with the ADDIE model, namely Analysis, Design, Development, Implementation and Evaluation. Data collection techniques using observation, interviews and tests. The observation technique is carried out directly in the field, the interview technique is carried out by asking questions to the class teacher, and the test technique is carried out by giving evaluation questions. The instruments used were material and media expert validation questionnaires, student and teacher response questionnaires, and student test questions. The results of the media validity test were 88% and material validation was 90%. The results of the teacher's practicality test were 92% and the students' practicality was 93.5%. The effectiveness test results were 87.5% limited trials and 80% extensive trials. So it can be concluded that 3D animation learning media is suitable for use as a learning media for class VI solar system material.

Abstract

The purpose of this study was to identify early childhood teachers' perceptions of STEAM-based learning. This qualitative research will be analyzed descriptively, and semi-structured interviews with open-ended questions will be conducted with four early childhood education (ECE) teachers in Banda Aceh. The findings show that ECE teachers' perceptions of STEAM-based learning techniques have a high potential to be implemented in Banda Aceh City ECEs, as the respondents have used aspects of STEAM in their learning. Teachers' lack of knowledge of STEAM-based learning approaches and procurement of materials and funds to fulfil STEAM learning needs are barriers to integrating STEAM in ECE institutions in Banda Aceh. More STEAM socialization and STEAM learning implementation training is needed for ECE teachers in Aceh in general.

Abstract

Pengajaran Bahasa Inggris di era new normal menuntut guru mata pelajaran bahasa Inggris (EFL) untuk memiliki pemahaman dan keterampilan yang baik untuk menciptakan lingkungan pembelajaran berbasis teknologi khususnya membaca (Reading) secara ekstensif untuk mendorong pembelajaran membaca. Oleh karena itu, penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengeksplorasi pengalaman guru bahasa Inggris dalam mengajar membaca ekstensif (Extensive Reading) dan penggunaan teknologi di masa new normal. Data penelitian ini diperoleh dari wawancara dengan dua guru bahasa Inggris dari dua Madrasah Tsanawiyah di Pasuruan. Hasil wawancara menunjukkan bahwa kedua guru tersebut tidak dibekali dengan pengetahuan dan keterampilan yang memadai tentang bagaimana menggunakan media pembelajaran berteknologi secara tepat untuk menyampaikan materi meskipun mereka harus mampu membuat materi berbasis teknologi dalam pelajaran Extensive Reading. Namun demikian, mereka berusaha meningkatkan pengetahuan dan keterampilan mereka dalam menggunakan teknologi sebagai media pembelajaran dalam pengajaran Extensive Reading untuk menghadapi dunia global. Implikasi dari penelitian ini adalah perlunya peningkatan kemampuan membaca dan pembelajaran literasi digital bagi guru.

Abstract

Mathematical Mind adalah kecenderungan anak untuk berpikir logis dan sistematis yang diperoleh melalui pembelajaran, pengalaman, dan latihan. Salah satu  Mathematical Mind anak adalah konsep pola. Dunia anak adalah dunia bermain, melatih Mathematical Mind anak harus dilakukan melalui bermain. Melatih Mathematical Mind anak merupakan regulasi dari Menteri Pendidikan dan Kebudayaan Republik Indonesia Nomor 137 tahun 2014. Kenyataan di lapangan berdasarkan studi pendahuluan di TK Karyawan Banda Aceh diperoleh informasi bahwa kemampuan Mathematical Mind anak tentang konsep pola belum berkembang sesuai harapan dan guru belum menerapkan kegiatan bermain pola. Mengatasi masalah di atas maka perlu dilakukan Penelitian Tindakan Kelas (PTK). Penelitian ini dilakukan dalam tiga siklus. Tindakan untuk melatih Mathematical Mind anak dilakukan melalui bermain pola. Fokus pada kemampuan anak tentang konsep pola, khususnya pola berulang. Tindakan yang dilakukan untuk masing-masing siklus adalah mewarnai, menyusun, dan meronce, Efek dari tindakan ini adalah kemampuan anak meningkat, yaitu anak sudah menguasai konsep pola berulang, yaitu pola AB-AB dan ABC-ABC.

Abstract

This study is intended to find out the effect of using Cooperative Script technique on the students' reading comprehension of the first grade at SMA Negeri 4 Kediri. The research approach used in this study was quantitative with a pre-experimental technique. Technique of collecting data used was pre-test, treatment, post-test. Pre-test which instrument to know the reading comprehension of the students before being taught by Cooperative Script techniques was implemented before treatment which consists of several steps, while post-test was applied after treatment. The participants were 34 students. Data analysis used was T-test counted with SPSS version 23. The result showed that the score of post-test was higher than pre-test with mean score of pre-test was 58.82 and mean score of the post-test was 81.18. Thus, it can be said that Cooperative Script had significant effect on the students' reading comprehension of the first grade at SMAN 4 Kediri.
