Abstract

: Fire is a situation where a building in a place such as a house/settlement, factory, market, building and so on is being hit by fire which causes casualties and/or losses, therefore fire is categorized as a disaster. There were 17,768 fire cases that occurred in Indonesia throughout 2021, of which 5,274 were caused by electrical short circuits or around 45%. The source of the fire itself is an electrical short circuit (70% of residential fires), gas cylinder/gas stove leaks, cigarette butts, and hot weather. From several previous studies, the system/equipment created was indoors and would only focus on certain houses/buildings. The difference that researchers made was using the Smart Village concept. Halim Iskandar defines Smart Village as village development based on the application of appropriate technology. By implementing this technology, it is hoped that villages can achieve various breakthrough achievements so that they meet the qualifications to enter the independent village category. Therefore, an outdoor system is needed to monitor, detect and provide warnings before a fire grows, so that the community works together to extinguish the fire while waiting for the fire brigade to arrive.

Abstract

This article explores the political behavior of digital conglomerates, focusing on Hary Tanoesoedibjo or usually called Hary Tanoe affiliation with Ganjar Pranowo's presidential candidacy in Indonesia's 2024 General Election. Digital conglomerates, such as MNC Group, wield significant influence in shaping public opinion through their diverse media platforms. Hary Tanoe's transition from media facilitator to political actor underscores the intersection of business and politics, raising concerns about media independence and democratic principles. Surveillance indicators are employed to monitor. This research uses a descriptive qualitative method because the researcher wants to examine the political behavior of Hary Tanoe's affiliation with Ganjar. It seeks to analyze the role of digital conglomerates in contemporary politics and understand measures to prevent controversies and violations during the campaign. The results of this research underscore the significant intertwining of business and politics, particularly evident in the case of Hary Tanoe's support for Ganjar Pranowo's presidential bid. This alignment highlights the complex relationship between digital conglomerates, media ownership, and political behavior, shaping electoral dynamics and media coverage. The findings emphasize the importance of transparency, ethical conduct, and adherence to democratic principles in navigating the intricate intersection of business interests and political involvement within Indonesia's digital conglomerates.

Abstract

Arabic language learning in the digital era faces various challenges that impact the quality of education. Key issues include the widespread use of Arabic 'Amiyah, which undermines fluency, unclear goals and objectives in Arabic language education at universities, and a misalignment between educational vision and the curriculum. Additionally, the lack of clear policies in Arabic language teaching and low student motivation further exacerbate the situation. However, digital transformation offers opportunities to address these challenges through innovative teaching methods. The use of digital tools, such as games, quizzes, and online discussion forums, can enhance student participation and motivation. A Higher Order Thinking Skills (HOTS) approach also encourages critical, analytical, and creative thinking. With HOTS, students are encouraged to solve complex problems, connect concepts, and apply knowledge to real-world situations. Therefore, the integration of digital technology in Arabic language education has the potential not only to overcome existing challenges but also to improve the quality of learning in the digital age, enabling students to achieve greater language proficiency.

Abstract

The science of Jarh wa Ta’dil is one of the main branches in the study of Hadith Science which plays a role in assessing the moral credibility and intellectual abilities of the narrators. In classical times, this science became an important foundation in ensuring the validity of the sanad of hadith. However, amidst the rapid development of technology and the rapid flow of religious information through digital media, serious challenges have emerged in the process of verifying hadith, especially on platforms with minimal scientific studies. This study aims to examine the sustainability and application of the principles of Jarh wa Ta’dil in responding to the rampant disinformation of hadith in the digital era. Using a descriptive qualitative approach and literature study, this article concludes that the critical principles in the Science of Jarh wa Ta’dil remain relevant and can be developed to support digital religious literacy. One solution is through a digitalization system of hadith based on sanad and the authority of the narrators. The synergy between the heritage of classical science and advances in information technology is an important step in maintaining the authenticity of Islamic teachings from deviant narratives.

Abstract

This study examines how selected Qur’anic verses, Surah Āl ‘Imrān 191, Surah ar-Ra‘d 11, and Surah al-Isrā’ 78–79, conceptualize moral flourishing and psychological well-being, a topic that remains underexplored in contemporary Qur’anic studies and Islamic psychology. While previous research has addressed Qur’anic perspectives on ethics and spirituality, few studies have systematically connected exegetical interpretation with modern theories of eudaimonic well-being and habit formation. Addressing this gap, the study analyzes how M. Quraish Shihab’s Tafsir al-Misbah articulates the relationship between self-concept, moral habituation, and well-being. Using a library research design and a tahlili exegetical approach, this study draws on Tafsir al-Misbah as the primary source and integrates secondary literature on moral psychology, habit theory, and Islamic ethical thought. The analysis shows that Shihab’s interpretation frames well-being as emerging from the alignment of cognitive self-understanding, sustained ethical practice, and reflective awareness. These findings highlight a conceptual convergence between Qur’anic exegesis and contemporary psychological models that emphasize intentionality, consistency, and meaning-making as determinants of eudaimonic well-being. The study contributes to Islamic psychology and Qur’anic studies by proposing a conceptual model that integrates exegetical insights with modern psychological theory, thereby offering a more systematic understanding of how moral habituation functions as a pathway to psychological and spiritual flourishing.

Abstract

Teachers are required to have a well-rounded personality because they serve as role models for students. Teacher personality is one of the four core competencies, alongside pedagogical, professional, and social competencies. Teachers play a crucial role in shaping students who are not only intellectually capable but also spiritually mature. This study examines the thoughts of Imam al-Ghazali on teacher personality and relates them to the Indonesian teacher personality competency standards as stipulated in the Director General of Teacher and Education Regulation Number 2626 of 2023 concerning the Teacher Competency Model. Using a qualitative library research approach, this study analyzes Imam al-Ghazali’s views in Ihya Ulumuddin, particularly in the chapter al-Mu’allim wa al-Muta’allim. The results indicate that Imam al-Ghazali’s eight duties and obligations of teachers are highly relevant to the current teacher personality competency standards. This study concludes that teacher personality competence is essential, especially in the era of rapid technological and social change, since students naturally imitate their teachers’ behavior.

Abstract

The increasingly complex issue of environmental degradation demands a holistic approach, including a religious perspective. This study explores environmental conservation through reforestation from the perspective of the hadiths of Prophet Muhammad (PBUH), focusing on the Islamic ecotheological values reflected in his sayings. This is a qualitative study using a library research method, collecting data from collections of hadith and relevant Islamic literature. The findings indicate that Islam, through the Prophet's hadiths, places great emphasis on environmental preservation, particularly through tree planting. The analyzed hadiths portray tree planting as a form of ongoing charity (ṣadaqah jāriyah), a social contribution, and a moral-spiritual responsibility of Muslims toward the Earth. Furthermore, reforestation is not merely seen as a physical act, but also as a form of worship rewarded by God. Planting trees is even encouraged during doomsday conditions, reflecting the profound ecological values within Islamic teachings. Thus, environmental conservation through reforestation in the hadith perspective embodies the values of tawḥīd (monotheism), khilāfah (stewardship), and amānah (trust) of humans as Earth’s caretakers. This study reaffirms that Islamic teachings are highly relevant in addressing today’s ecological crises.
