Abstract

A Through language, we can see someone’s behaviour from their way of speaking. The way speakers behave well can be achieved by paying attention to important aspects of communication; this is called the politeness strategy. The purpose of this study is to investigate the politeness strategies in the ELF interaction of Indonesian students—lecturers both online and offline in the classroom. This study aimed to collect, analyse, and interpret the data that was collected through the WhatsApp application and student-lecturer interaction in the classroom. A descriptive-qualitative method was used to find out the politeness strategy used in EFL interactions with Indonesian students and lecturers. There were four politeness strategies used by students and lecturers, such as the positive politeness strategy, the negative politeness strategy, the bald on record strategy, and the off-record strategy. The positive politeness strategy was found to be the most frequent strategy used in student and lecturer interaction in WhatsApp groups and classrooms. The most frequent strategies used by students and lecturers in their interaction were politeness strategies such as greetings, using in-group identity markers, seeking an agreement, offering promises, being optimistic, and giving gifts.

Abstract

This study aims to improve soccer playing skills through the drill method.The research method used is classroom action research (CAR) which was implemented at Wuwur State Elementary School in the 2023/2024 Academic Year on 20 fifth grade students with details of 12 male students and 8 female students. The research was conducted every Wednesday, April 3, 10, and 17, 2024. The research was carried out in two cycles which included planning, implementation, observation and reflection. Data collection techniques were carried out using observation, interviews, and documentation. The data analysis technique used was a qualitative data analysis technique consisting of three stages of activity, namely (1) data reduction, (2) data presentation and drawing conclusions, and (3) data verification.The results of the study showed that there was an increase in dribbling skills in soccer games through the drill method in PJOK learning in fifth grade students of Wuwur State Elementary School. The learning results for cycle 1 showed that 20 students had experienced an increase from pre-cycle, where initially there were 5 children (25%) who met the KKM to 13 children (65%) who had met the KKM value. Meanwhile, those who still do not meet the KKM have gone from 15 children (75%) to 7 children (35%). The highest score was from 80 to 85, the lowest score was 50 to 55 and the class average was from 55.25 to 67. In cycle 2 the completion score was originally 13 children (65%) to 15 (75%) children, those who had not completed it decreased from the original 7 children (35%) to 5 children (25%). Meanwhile, the highest score was originally 85 to 90, the lowest score was from 55 to 60 and the class average was from 67 to 75.75

Abstract

This study investigates the Moneylender Free Village (MFV) program within the Cikuasa community, Cilegon City, Indonesia, examining its role in fostering Islamic economic principles and social piety. Through qualitative descriptive research involving interviews with 20 purposively selected respondents, this study explores the negative impacts of loan shark practices on the community, the formation and implementation of the MFV program with the guidance of NGOs and Islamic banking, and the subsequent empowerment of social piety among community members. Findings reveal that the MFV program effectively mitigates the detrimental effects of loan sharks, fostering economic stability and social well-being. Furthermore, the study demonstrates how the program contributes to the enhancement of social piety through increased awareness of Allah's supervision, the cultivation of ihsan (excellence in worship and conduct), and the promotion of beneficial social interactions within the community.

Abstract

Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui pelaksanaan budaya organisasi di Akademi Manajemen Administrasi Yogyakarta, mengetahui faktor yang paling berperan dalam pelaksanaan budaya organisasi di Akademi Manajemen Administrasi Yogyakarta dan memberikan solusi untuk memperbaiki pelaksanaan budaya organisasi di Akademi Manajemen Administrasi Yogyakarta. Informan dari penelitian ini berjumlah 10 orang, diambil dari masing-masing bagian satu orang staf. Metode yang digunakan adalah pendekatan kualitatif deskriptif. Teknik pengumpulan data melalui wawancara, observasi dan dokumentasi. Hasil dari penelitian ini bahwa pelaksanaan budaya organisasi karyawan Akademi Manajemen Administrasi Yogyakarta cukup optimal karena kurangnya loyalitas karyawan. Ketidak ikutan kegiatan budaya organisasi di Akademi Manajemen Administrasi Yogyakarta karena belum ada peraturan ataupun pengawasan dari pimpinan dan belum adanya sanksi yang tegas. Bentuk ketidak ikutan budaya organisasi yang paling banyak yaitu doa pagi/sore dan pengajian hari jum’at. Faktor yang berperan dalam pelaksanaan budaya organisasi di Akademi Manajemen Administrasi Yogyakarta adalah kebersamaan dan intensitas pemimpin dan karyawan antara lain waktu pelaksanaan melebihi jam kerja, kurang ketegasan pemimpin dan kurang loyalitas karyawan. Solusi untuk memperbaiki pelaksanaan budaya organisasi di Akademi Manajemen Administrasi Yogyakarta antara lain dibuat presensi kehadiran setiap kegiatan, dibuat aturan dalam memberikan reward bagi karyawan yang rajin atau berprestasi, memberikan punisment bagi yang tidak mengikuti kegiatan budaya organisasi.

Abstract

Latar Belakang: Rumah Sakit merupakan suatu organisasi yang bergerak dibidang pelayanan kesehatan, oleh karena itu wajib menyelenggarakan rekam medis demi tercapainya administrasi yang baik. Pendaftaran, pengisian data, pengolahan dan analisis serta pendokumentasian, hal tersebut merupakan proses dari penyelenggaraan rekam medis. Pengisian rekam medis dikatakan baik jika setiap item-item pada lembar rekam medis diisi dengan data yang lengkap. Rekam medis yang lengkap merupakan citra mutu dari sebuah rumah sakit. Tujuan : dari penelitian ini untuk mengetahui gambaran umum tentang analisis kelengkapan rekam medis pada identitas pasien, anamnesis, informed consent, resume medis pada pasien rawat inap di ruangan VIP Ibnu Sina RS Muhammadiyah Paelmbang tahun 2022. Jenis penelitian yang digunakan adalah penelitian deskriptif. Sampai pada penelitian ini adalah berkas rekam medis rawat inap ruangan VIP Ibnu Sina sebanyak 81 rekam medis. Instrumen yang digunakan adalah lembar checlist. Analisa data dengan menggunakan analisis univariat. Hasil : penelitian diperoleh persentase kelengkapan untuk rekam medis identitas pasien sebesar 97.5%, anamnesa sebesar 96.2%, informed consent sebesar 100%, Resume medis sebesar 100%. Saran : Diharapkan bagi petugas rekam medis, perlu memiliki kesadaran dan kedisiplinan dalam melengkapi rekam medis dengan cara kerja sama yang baik antara perawat, dokter yang bersangkutan. Kata Kunci : Kelengkapan RME, Rawat Inap

Abstract

ABSTRACT This study aims to determine the analysis of the Effect of Education and Training and Competence on the Performance of Village Population Administration Information System Operators (SIAPKEDESA) in Rembang Regency with Motivation as an Intervening Variable. This type of research is quantitative with a descriptive survey form or explanatory pattern. Research design with causal patterns. The population was the SIAPKEDESA application operator in Rembang with proportional random sampling technique. The sample size is 120 respondents. Data collection methods and using a questionnaire. The data analysis used is descriptive analysis and quantitative analysis using Structural Equation Modeling (SEM). The results and implications of this study education and training have a positive and significant effect on employee performance, competence has a positive and significant effect on motivation, education and training have no positive effect on employee performance, competence has no positive effect on employee performance, motivation has a positive and significant effect on performance. employees, motivation is able to mediate the effect of education and training on employee performance, motivation is able to mediate the influence of competence on employee performance. Based on the results of this research, it is suggested that management pay more attention and increase employee motivation, so that it can provide maximum performance and more optimal quality of work results.ABSTRAKPenelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui analisis Pengaruh Pendidikan dan Pelatihan Serta Kompetensi Terhadap Kinerja Operator Sistem Informasi Administrasi Kependudukan Desa (SIAPKEDESA) Se Kabupaten Rembang Dengan Motivasi Sebagai Variabel Intervening. Jenis penelitian adalah kuantitatif dengan bentuk deskriptif survey atau pola eksplanasi. Desain penelitian dengan pola kausal. Populasi adalah Petugas Operator Aplikasi SIAPKEDESA di Kabupaten Rembang dengan teknik sampling proportional random sampling. Besar sampel sebanyak 120 responden. Metode pengumpulan data serta menggunakan kuesioner. Analisis data yang digunakan adalah analisis deskriptif dan analisis kuantitatif menggunakan Structural Equation Modeling (SEM). Hasil dan implikasi dari penelitian ini pendidikan dan pelatihan berpengaruh positif dan signifikan terhadap kineja pegawai, Kompetensi  berpengaruh positif dan signifikan terhadap motivasi, pendidikan dan pelatihan tidak berpengaruh positif terhadap kinerja pegawai, kompetensi tidak berpengaruh positif terhadap kinerja pegawai, motivasi berpengaruh positif dan signifikan terhadap kinerja pegawai, motivasi mampu memediasi pengaruh pendidikan dan pelatihan terhadap kinerja pegawai, motivasi mampu memediasi pengaruh kompetensi terhadap kinerja pegawai. Berdasarkan hasil penelitan ini disarankan agar manajemen dapat lebih memperhatikan dan meningkatkan motivasi kerja pegawai, sehingga bisa memberikan kinerja yang maksimal dan kualitas hasil kerja yang lebih optimal.

Abstract

Population growth, increasing urban development and the high rate of conversion of green land into construction land pose a serious threat to the reduction of green open space (RTH) in Serang City. This research aims to determine the current condition of existing green open space, the need for green open space based on area, number population and oxygen needs, as well as strategies for optimizing green open space development in Serang City. The method used is quantitative descriptive with spatial analysis using remote sensing techniques and Geographic Information Systems (GIS). The results of the study show that Serang City's green open space in 2023 has met the city's minimum need for green open space of 30% of the total area, namely amounting to 59.64%. Serang City's need for green open space, if calculated based on its area, is 7,958.68 ha, based on its population, it is 1,440.72 ha, and based on its oxygen needs, it is 1,812.93 ha. The green open space management strategy that can be implemented in Serang City is a Growth Oriented Strategy which is oriented towards utilizing internal assets and external opportunities based on regional characteristics, active community participation, allocation of financial resources, establishing partnerships, developing infrastructure and a sustainable approach.

Abstract

In Indonesia, stunting is a serious health issue, including at the Citangkil II Community Health Center in Cilegon City. This study aims to analyze the relationship between maternal knowledge and the intake of complementary foods based on animal protein and the incidence of stunting. A case-control design was employed in this study, involving 145 mothers with toddlers aged 6-23 months. Data were collected through interviews to assess maternal nutrition knowledge and complementary food intake, as well as secondary data from measurements of children's height and length to determine stunting status. The results show that 40% of the respondents have good knowledge, and the intake of complementary foods from animal protein sources is quite high, with 33% of toddlers categorized as having good intake. The analysis reveals a significant relationship between maternal knowledge, the type and amount of complementary foods based on animal protein, and stunting (p < 0.05). This study emphasizes the importance of improving maternal nutrition knowledge and the intake of animal protein-based complementary foods in preventing stunting, thereby enhancing children's health and growth.

Abstract

CO2 emission reduction is the main instrument to promote green growth in developing countries such as Indonesia. Carbon dioxide emissions from the transportation sector are a main contributing factor. Cilegon City with its high industrial and transportation activities, as well as limited public green spaces, contributes to this. Cilegon City protocol roads include Jalan Ahmad Yani, Jalan S.A Tirtayasa, and Jalan Jendral Sudirman. This research aims to analyze the amount of CO2 emissions generated by motorized vehicles, analyze the absorption capacity of vegetation in absorbing CO2 emissions from motorized vehicles and proper greening planning to maximize the reduction of CO₂ emissions from motorized vehicles on the Cilegon City Protocol Road. The research method uses quantitative with a descriptive approach, some of the analysis includes energy ecological footprint analysis, vegetation absorption analysis, and greening planning. The results obtained total CO2 emissions on the Cilegon City Protocol Road amounted to 4,400.003 tons / year. There are 8,016 plants on the Cilegon City Protocol Road with a vegetation absorption capacity of 395.328 tons/year. The remaining unabsorbed emissions amounted to 4004.68 tons/year. Greening planning is carried out by adding vegetation, government policies and collaboration between the government and the community. The addition of vegetation on the Cilegon City Protocol Road is 692 plants from the addition shows the potential to increase carbon dioxide absorption by 101.43%.

Abstract

This study examines the facilitation of Islamic boarding school (Pesantren) development in Pekalongan City, Indonesia, under the Islamic Boarding School Law No. 18 of 2019 framework. This research analyzes the implementation of Regional Regulation No. 3 of 2022 in implementing this legal framework to support the development of Pesantren, especially in Pekalongan City, Indonesia. This study employs a qualitative approach with a case study design. The case study method was selected as it allows for an in-depth exploration of the implementation of Regional Regulation (Perda) No. 3 of 2022 within the specific context of Pekalongan City, Indonesia, as a locus for pesantren development under the framework of the Islamic Boarding School Law No. 18 of 2019. Data were collected through in-depth interviews with key stakeholders, including Pesantren’s leaders, local government officials, and community members, and analysis of relevant policy documents and reports. This research is based on a Political Knowledge approach to the analysis of policy documents. The analysis technique employed in this study is thematic analysis, which involves identifying, analyzing, and reporting patterns (themes) within qualitative data The important findings of this article show that although national and local regulations provide a strong foundation for the development of Islamic boarding schools, several challenges still exist, including limited funding, uneven distribution of resources, and the need for capacity building among Islamic boarding school administrators. Regional regulations are critical to be issued in order to strengthen central government policies. The study also identifies significant opportunities, such as increased community engagement, improved infrastructure, and increased religious and general education curricula integration. This research contributes to a broader discourse on Islamic education policy by offering insights into implementing national laws at the local level and providing recommendations to optimize the development of Pesantren in Pekalongan City and its surroundings.
