Abstract

In the digital era characterized by openness of information and the complexity of social interactions, it is crucial for teachers to build ethical collaborations with the community. This study focuses on examining the methods teachers use to build ethically based collaborations and identifying various issues. The objective of the present research is to elucidate a range of methodologies for ethical collaboration among educators, as well as the obstacles they encounter during the execution of these strategies. The employed methodology constitutes a qualitative literature review approach, which encompasses the accumulation, examination, and integration of diverse scholarly resources, such as academic journals, monographs, and pertinent research publications.The results indicate that several strategies that teachers can implement include using digital technology wisely, communicating honestly, strengthening professional moral values, and actively participating in the classroom community. The lack of digital literacy among the community, the possibility of misinformation, differences in values, and limited digital skills among teachers are some of the challenges faced. The results indicate that ethical collaboration between teachers and the community requires a balance between affirming ethical values ​​and utilizing technology to create a good and sustainable relationship.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the role of teacher professional ethics in implementing a love-based curriculum to support the development of religious, moral, and socioemotional values in early childhood. This research uses a qualitative approach with a literature study method by reviewing various relevant scientific sources such as journals, books, and proceedings. The results show that a love-based curriculum emphasizes affection, empathy, and positive relationships between teachers and children, which significantly contribute to children's character development. Teacher professional ethics, including responsibility, fairness, and exemplary behavior, plays a crucial role in creating a supportive learning environment. Furthermore, the integration of a love-based curriculum effectively enhances children's moral awareness and socio-emotional skills. Therefore, the synergy between teacher ethics and a love-based curriculum is essential in achieving holistic early childhood education.

Abstract

Transformasi digital telah membawa perubahan signifikan dalam dunia pendidikan, khususnya pada pemanfaatan media sosial oleh guru sebagai sarana pembelajaran, komunikasi, dan pengembangan profesional. Di sisi lain, penggunaan media sosial juga menghadirkan tantangan etis yang dapat memengaruhi marwah profesi guru apabila tidak dikelola secara bijaksana. Penelitian ini bertujuan menganalisis transformasi peran guru di era digital, mengkaji pentingnya etika digital dalam profesi guru, serta menelaah peran pemerintah dalam menjaga profesionalisme guru melalui kebijakan dan penguatan literasi digital. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode studi pustaka dengan pendekatan kualitatif deskriptif melalui analisis berbagai jurnal ilmiah, regulasi pendidikan, dan laporan lembaga internasional. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa media sosial telah mentransformasi peran guru menjadi fasilitator digital, kreator konten edukatif, kurator informasi, dan moderator interaksi daring. Penerapan etika digital menjadi kebutuhan mendasar dalam menjaga profesionalisme guru. Pemerintah memiliki peran strategis sebagai regulator, fasilitator, pengawas, dan pembina dalam menjaga etika digital guru. Namun, implementasi kebijakan masih menghadapi tantangan berupa kesenjangan literasi digital, rendahnya kesadaran etis, dan cepatnya perkembangan teknologi. Oleh karena itu, diperlukan sinergi antara pemerintah, institusi pendidikan, organisasi profesi, dan guru untuk menjaga marwah profesi guru di era digital.

Abstract

Digital transformation has resulted in changes in various areas of life, including the educational process and the way students access information. The ease of obtaining information through various digital platforms requires students to have the ability to think objectively in order to be able to assess the truth of information rationally and remain firm despite various opinions and misleading data. This study aims to examine the contribution of realism education in developing students' objective thinking skills in the digital era. The research approach is qualitative with a focus on literature studies. Literature reviews are conducted from various academic sources, including scientific journals, scientific articles, and literature that refer to the theme of the study. Data analysis was carried out descriptively through the process of study, grouping, and synthesizing various studies on realism education and improving objective thinking skills. The findings of the study show that realism education has an important factor in building a way of thinking based on reality, empirical evidence, and logical reasoning. This approach encourages students to understand a phenomenon based on observation, direct experience, and scientifically accountable evidence. In addition, realism values also support the improvement of digital literacy through the ability to check the validity of information, recognize biases, and evaluate various sources of information available in the digital space. The application of realism education through project-based learning activities, investigations, real problem solving, and case studies provides opportunities for students to hone analytical, responsive, and decision-making skills objectively. In the midst of the rampant spread of hoaxes, disinformation, and various forms of information manipulation, realism education can be an effective foundation in helping students understand reality more accurately. Therefore, realism education is considered relevant to be applied in learning to form a generation that is able to think critically, objectively, and responsibly in responding to information technology developments.

Abstract

The digital revolution has caused a major change in the education system, not only altering the tools used for teaching but also redefining the ethical boundaries of the teaching profession. This study aims to identify the ethical challenges faced by educators through two main perspectives: pedagogical and moral. This study uses a descriptive qualitative approach with a literature review to examine how the shift of a teacher's role from being an authority figure to a digital facilitator creates ethical ambiguity. Teachers face pressure to incorporate technology without losing the human aspect of interaction. The main challenges include the weakening of academic authority because of instant access to information and the difficulty of maintaining privacy and professionalism in the online world. Digital disruption has led to a crisis in role models. Teachers are needed to act as moral guides in a time when there is a lot of false information and online bullying, where the line between personal and professional life often becomes unclear. The conclusion of this study highlights the importance of rebuilding a teacher's code of ethics that is more flexible to the digital world, without losing the important teaching values. Strengthening digital literacy based on character is now a necessity for educators to maintain their professional integrity in the face of rapidly changing times.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the implementation of teachers’ professional ethics and digital platform-based collaboration in improving the quality of learning in the digital era. The method used is a qualitative approach through a literature study and analysis of various scientific sources relevant to the research topic. The results show that the development of digital technology has provided significant opportunities for teachers to collaborate more broadly through various platforms such as Learning Management Systems (LMS), discussion forums, and online communication applications. The forms of collaboration include online discussions, team teaching, and sharing instructional materials among teachers. However, the implementation of professional ethics in digital collaboration still faces several challenges, such as low awareness of digital ethics, potential privacy violations, and the lack of professional language use in online communication. The application of teachers’ professional ethics plays an important role in maintaining the quality of interaction, building trust, and preventing conflicts in digital collaboration. Furthermore, ethical collaboration can enhance learning innovation and improve students’ learning outcomes. Therefore, strengthening teachers’ professional ethics and improving digital literacy are necessary to ensure that the use of technology in education can be carried out optimally and responsibly.

Abstract

This study examines how educational philosophy serves as a conceptual foundation for developing students' logical thinking abilities in mathematics learning amid globalization. The research employed a library-based method with a qualitative descriptive approach. Data were gathered from a synthesis of scientific journals, academic books, and educational reports published from 2020 to 2025, and were analyzed through data selection, thematic grouping, and conclusion drawing. The findings show that educational philosophy, especially constructivism, underpins student-centered mathematics learning that nurtures logical, critical, and structured thinking. Additionally, digital tools such as GeoGebra, Virtual Reality (VR), and interactive learning platforms prove helpful in clarifying abstract mathematical concepts. The study further reveals that the success of philosophy-based mathematics instruction depends largely on teachers' pedagogical skills, digital infrastructure readiness, and students' responsible use of technology. Accordingly, reinforcing philosophical grounding and digital literacy is urgently needed to address contemporary challenges in mathematics education.

Abstract

The development of digital technology in the Industry 4.0 era has transformed communication patterns in education, including interactions between teachers and students through digital platforms. This transformation requires the application of communication ethics that not only support learning effectiveness but also ensure the protection and character development of students. This study aims to analyze the principles of teachers’ communication ethics in digital platforms, their contribution to student protection, and their role in character building. This research employs a library research method with a descriptive qualitative approach. The data were obtained from various secondary sources such as scientific journals, books, and educational policy documents, and were analyzed using content analysis techniques. The results indicate that teachers’ communication ethics in digital platforms are essential in maintaining professionalism. Principles such as responsibility, privacy protection, respectful communication, and the wise use of digital media play a significant role in protecting students from negative impacts. Furthermore, ethical communication supports character development through role modeling and the habituation of moral values. Therefore, a comprehensive digital code of ethics for teachers is needed to support safe, integrity-based, and character-oriented educational practices

Abstract

The development of digital technology has brought significant changes to the world of education, including how students acquire information, interact, and build understanding. Amid these changes, a challenge has emerged to ensure that individual freedom remains an essential part of the learning process. This study aims to examine the relevance of existentialism in education and analyze its contribution to strengthening individual freedom in learning in the digital age. The study employs a literature review (library research) using a descriptive qualitative approach. Data were obtained from various scientific journals, academic books, and relevant literature discussing existentialism, education, freedom of learning, and digital learning. Analysis was conducted through data reduction, thematic data presentation, and critical synthesis of the selected sources. The results of the study indicate that existentialism positions learners as free, authentic individuals who are responsible for their choices and learning processes. The values of freedom, responsibility, and the search for meaningwhich lie at the core of existentialismhave proven relevant for addressing various challenges in digital learning, such as technological dependence, identity crises, and the influence of algorithms that have the potential to limit independent thinking.Furthermore, learning approaches that provide space for reflection and decisionmaking.
