Abstract: The principal's strategy is an important factor in determining the success of quality improvement in schools. This study aims to identify and describe the role of the principal, the principal's strategy and the obstacles faced by the principal in improving the quality of learning. To achieve these objectives, this study uses a qualitative approach with descriptive methods. Data collection techniques are carried out through observation, interviews and documentation study. Data analysis procedures are data reduction, data presentation and verification. Meanwhile, the research subjects were school principals, vice principals and teachers. The results showed that the role of the principal in improving the quality of learning was going well. The strategies that have been carried out by the principal in improving the quality of learning include: increasing the teaching ability of teachers, utilizing media and educational facilities, implementing regular supervision, establishing cooperation with the community and implementing strict time discipline for both teachers and students. The obstacle faced by the principal in improving the quality of learning at SMP Negeri 9 Prabumulih is the lack of permanent teaching staff, so that many teachers are used as honorary teachers and there are still teachers who teach not according to their educational qualifications in order to cover the shortage of teachers in certain subjects.

This study aims to describe how the realization of speech acts is based on the principle of conversion in buying and selling transactions at the Palembang Ulu 10 Market. The type of research is qualitative descriptive research. The data sources of this study are traders and buyers at the Palembang Ulu 10 Market. This research data is in the form of speeches from traders and buyers when conducting transactions that contain elements of the principle of conversion. Data collection techniques in this study used the record method, see, note, observation. The data analysis technique used is content analysis. The researcher concluded that the realization of speech acts based on the principle of conversion included the principle of politeness and the principle of cooperation. The results of the research show that the dominant politeness principle used in transactions at the Market Ulu 10 Palembang is the maxim of wisdom, while the principle of cooperation, which is often used by traders and buyers, is the maxim of quantity.

The formulation of the problem in this study is: "Can the TTW (ThinkTalk Write) model improve the ability to write news texts for eighth grade students of SMP Negeri 1 OKU? The purpose of this study was to analyze and describe the improvement in the ability to write news texts for eighth grade students of SMP Negeri 1 OKU. The hypothesis in this classroom action research (PTK) is that "the TTW (Think Talk Write) learning model can improve the ability to write news for grade VIII students of SMP Negeri 1 OKU. The subjects in this study were 30 students of class VIII SMP Negeri 1 OKU in Indonesian. The object of this research is the application of the TTW (ThinkTalk Write) learning model to the material written as news texts in Indonesian language learning for class VIII SMP Negeri 1 OKU. Based on the results of the study, it was proven that the increase in writing news texts with the TTW (Think Talk Write) learning model in the first cycle an average of 62.87 students who achieved learning completeness were 6 students. In cycle II, the students' ability to write News Texts averaged 72.53. Students who achieved completeness in the learning process were 22 students. Feminism is one type of literary theory that is used to examine or analyze problems related to women in literary works. As for the formulation of the problem in this research, what are the forms of gender injustice contained innovel Ibu selectedgod Rizka Azizah'sby. This study aims to determine the forms of gender injustice innovel Ibu selectedgod Rizka Azizah'sby. The research method used is descriptive qualitative method. The technique used is literature study. The data source is the novel Ibu Selected God by Rizka Azizah, the research data is a manifestation of existing gender injustices, namely: marginalization, subordination, stereotypes, violence, workload, which reflects the feminism studynovel ibutuhan of Rizka Azizah'sTerbaikby Rizka Azizah. This classroom action research entitled Application of the Quantum Teaching Model to Improve Class VIII Poetry Reading Skills of SMP Negeri 1 Mesuji OKI involved 27 grade VIII students. This research was conducted for two cycles with a span of three weeks per cycle. Based on the results of the analysis of teacher observation data, it is known that the level of teacher competence in teaching is very good, namely, 3.88 in the first cycle and 4 in the second cycle. The percentage of students' observation scores also experienced a very significant increase, if in the first cycle it only touched 51.85%, but in the second cycle, it became 77.77%. The results of students' poetry reading scores also increased very well. This classroom action research entitled Acrostic Technique as an Effort to Increase the Motivation and Ability to Write Poetry for VIII Grade Students of SMP Negeri 14 OKU. This study involved 24 eighth grade students who have different backgrounds and abilities in writing poetry. By using acrostic techniques, this classroom action research is planned to use two research cycles with a KKM value of 75 and a success rate of above 75%. Based on the results of the data analysis of classroom action research in the first cycle, it was found that the teacher's observation score was very good with a value of 3.33, the value of student observation also reached 62.5% success, and the student's poetry writing score reached 66.6%. In the second cycle, there was a very significant increase. The teacher's observation value increased to 3.55, the student's observation score also increased, making the success rate 100% and the value of writing poetry, all students succeeded in exceeding the KKM score of 75 so that the success percentage was 100%. Thus the classroom action research was declared successful and was stopped in the second cycle. This study aims to describe the errors of phonology, morphology and syntax in descriptive text for seventh grade students of Middle School 60 Palembang. The method used in this research is a descriptive qualitative method. The data source of this research is the descriptive text of the students, amounting to 150 students. The data from this study were words or sentences that experienced morphological and syntactic phonological errors. The data collection techniques from this research were test and interview techniques. The data analysis method used in this research is the triangulation collection method. The results of this study found that the most dominant errors were errors in the phonological field. The phonological errors found were misuse of punctuation marks, errors in using prepositions, errors in using capital letters and errors in writing basic words. Morphological errors include affixation errors. The purpose of this study was to improve the students' ability to write classified ad sentences in class IXA SMP Negeri 14 OKU . Research data collection techniques using observation, tests, documentation. The research data analysis technique used observation to see the activeness of student learning and the test of understanding writing classified advertisements . Based on the analysis of research data on the improvement of writing classified ad sentences in cycles I and II, the following results were obtained. The results of the first cycle test showed that the average increase in writing classified ad sentences for students was 61.45. Average it rose to 94.45 or 53.7% in cycle II. The increase in the classical average was also followed by the increase in the scores obtained by the students in each aspect of the assessment of writing classified ad sentences . The improvement in writing student classifieds sentences in each cycle was followed by changes in the students ' behavior in a positive direction . This can be seen in the activeness and enthusiasm of students in receiving learning because students feel happy and interested in participating in learning to write classified ad sentences through . From these results, suggestions can be taken by the researcher, the researcher me recommend , among others, 1) teachers should use teaching methods that vary to attract students, and 2) The researchers or teacher education field of language Indonesia should be able to conduct similar studies yet with different methods in order to obtain various learning methods through.

The title of this article is “Values Of Character Education In The Finalist Short Story Collection At The Provincial Level Of The 2014 FLS2N†this discuss character education values. The goal of this research is to know to the education character values in the main character for the short story’s finalist provincial level FLS2N 2014. The benefits of this research can increase and adding to knowledge the study of literature especially short story through the character educations. Values practically this research hopes can give contribution for Indonesian language studies in schools. The method used is descriptive method. The source of the data in this reseach is the collect of short story’s finalist in provincial level FLS2N 2014 is Kejai Songket story by Agnes Twenty Agustiola, Melody Strains Sari story by Miranti Intan Alya, and Save Them for Us Father story by Purnama Djasmin. The data analysis technique used in content analysis technique. This research aims to describe the effectiveness of the Two Stay Two Stray learning techniques in Indonesian at school. This research is a quasi-experimental research. Data collection techniques in this study used test and documentation techniques. The test instrument is given to students with the aim of knowing or measuring knowledge and assessing students' understanding of learning Bahasa Indonesia using the Two Stay Two Stray technique. The analysis technique was carried out in the experimental class and the control class.
