Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui kelayakan dan keefektifan CD interaktif IPA Terpadu tema kalor berbasis science edutainment untuk meningkatkan hasil belajar dan keaktifan siswa SMP. Penelitian ini menggunakan Metode Research and Development (R&D). Prosedur penelitian meliputi identifikasi potensi dan masalah, pengumpulan data, desain produk, validasi desain, revisi desain, uji coba skala kecil, revisi produk 1, uji coba skala luas, revisi produk 2, uji coba skala penerapan dan produk akhir. Berdasarkan hasil penelitian menunjukkan kelayakan terhadap CD interaktif berbasis science edutainment dinyatakan layak dengan rerata skor validasi media tahap 1 sebesar 2,68, validasi media tahap 2 sebesar 2,85, validasi materi tahap 1 sebesar 2,53, dan validasi materi tahap 2 sebesar 2,97. Penerapan CD interaktif IPA terpadu berbasis science edutainment diperoleh hasil yang menunjukkan bahwa peningkatan hasil belajar dengan N-gain sebesar 0,58 dengan kriteria sedang, sedangkan perhitungan menggunakan uji t didapat nilai dinilai thitung VII D = (13,712) > ttabel (1,66) dikategorikan pencapaian signifikan. Penerapan CD interaktif berbasis science edutainment juga meningkatkan keaktifan siswa pada tiap pertemuan. Peningkatan hasil belajar dan keaktifan siswa menunjukkan penerapan CD interaktif IPA terpadu berbasis science edutainment dinyatakan efektif.  This study aims to determine the feasibility and effectiveness of Integrated Science interactive CD based on science edutainment with theme of heat to enhance the learning outcomes and the activeness of junior high school students. This research used of Research and Development (R & D) design. The procedure was the identification of potential research and issues, data submission, design product, validation design, design revisions, small-scale trials, product 1 revision, a large-scale trials, product 2 revision, implementation scale trials and the final product. Based on the results of the study it was found on that the feasibility of the interactive CD-based science edutainment showed eligible criteria based on the media validation with score of 2.68 for stage 1, stage 2 media validation of 2.85, material validation phase 1 of 2.53, and material validation phase 2 of 2.97. Based on implementation it was that an integrated science interactive CD-based science edutainment found the results indicate that the increase in learning outcomes with N-gain of 0.58 with the criterion being, while the calculation of the value found using the t test assessed tcount VII D = (13.712)> t table (1.66) considered a significant achievement. The application of science integrated interactive CD based science edutainment also increases the activity of students showed that each meeting. The improvement student of learning outcomes and on motivation showed that the application of integrated science interactive CD based science edutainment was effective.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui kelayakan dan kefektifan modul IPA terpadu tema perubahan zat berbasis discovery untuk meningkatkan keterampilan generik dan hasil belajar siswa. Metode yang digunakan adalah Penelitian dan Pengembangan atau Research and development (R&D). Dalam penelitian ini dilakukan 4 tahapan yaitu Define, Design, Development dan Implementation. Berdasarkan hasil penelitian menunjukan bahwa kelayakan terhadap modul IPA terpadu berbasis discovery yang digunakan dinyatakan layak sesuai BNSP dengan rata-rata validasi komponen isi 3,81, kebahasaan 3,86 dan penyajian 3,73 dan kegrafikan 3,66. Ketuntasan hasil belajar klasikal siswa pada kelas penerapan yaitu sebesar 80,26%, sedangkan perhitungan menggunakan uji t didapat dinilai thitung = 265,97 > ttabel = 2,73 dikategorikan pencapaian signifikan. Selain itu penerapan modul IPA terpadu berbasis discovery mampu meningkatkan keterampilan generik siswa pengamatan dan inferensi logika dengan N-gain sebesar 0,81 dan 0,66 pada taraf pencapaian tinggi dan sedang. Dengan demikian adanya peningkatan keterampilan generik dan hasil belajar siswa menunjukan penerapan modul IPA terpadu berbasis discovery dinyatakan efektif. This study aims to determine how the feasibility and effectiveness of integrated science module theme changes based discovery agent to improve the generic skills and student learning outcomes. The method used is the Research and Development or Research and development (R&D). In this research, there are four stages is namely Define, Design, Development and Implementation. Based on the results of the study showed that the feasibility of the integrated science-based discovery module used BNSP declared eligible in accordance with the average content of 3.81 validation component, linguistic presentation of 3.73 and 3.86 of scene and 3.66 of graphic. Completeness results of classical study of 80.26 %, while the calculations obtained using the t test assessed tcount = 265.97 > ttable = 2.73 considered a significant achievement . In addition, the implementation of an integrated science-based discovery module can improve student generic skills of observation and inference logic with N - gain have 0,81 and 0,66 on a high standard of achievement and being. Thus an increase in generic skills and student learning outcomes demonstrate the application of integrated science -based discovery module is declared effect .

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui kelayakan modul IPA terpadu berbasis PBL pada tema Gerak yang dikembangkan dan keefektifan modul yang dikembangkan dalam meningkatkan kemampuan berpikir kritis siswa. Desain yang diterapkan dalam penelitian ini adalah penilitian dan pengembangan (Research and Development). Subjek penelitian ini adalah siswa kelas VIII. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa penilaian modul IPA terpadu berbasis PBL oleh pakar memperoleh rata-rata skor 3,6 dengan kriteria layak, tanggapan siswa mencapai 98,9% dengan kriteria sangat baik, dan tanggapan guru 94,79% dengan kriteria sangat baik. Keefektifan modul dalam meningkatkan kemampuan berpikir kritis siswa memperoleh rata-rata skor 0,6 dengan kriteria sedang. Hasil belajar siswa memperoleh nilai rata-rata 80,34 dengan ketuntasan klasikal kelas 100%. Berdasarkan hasil penelitian dapat disimpulkan bahwa modul IPA terpadu berbasis PBL tema Gerak layak dan efektif diterapkan dalam proses pembelajaran kelas VIII di MTs Sudirman. The research aimed to know the feasibility and effectivity of developed integrated science module in theme “movement” with PBL in increasing students critical thinking ability. The design applied in the research was research and development. The subject of the research was class VIII. Result of the research showed that science module based on PBL assessed by validators got 3.6 in average with proper criterion, the students response achievement was 98.9% with excellent criterion, the teacher response acievement was 94.79% with excellent criterion. Module effectiveness in increasing students critical thinking ability got 0.6 with medium criterion. Students result got 80.34 with 100% classical completeness. Based on the research result, it could be conluded that integrated science module based on PBL in theme “Movement” was feasible and effective to be applied in science learning grade VIII in MTs Sudirman.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui kelayakan dan keefektifan kit pembelajaran IPA berbasis science edutainment pada tema “Bunyi dalam Kehidupan” untuk siswa SMP. Desain penelitian yang digunakan adalah penelitian dan pengembangan (R&D). Subjek penelitian ini adalah guru IPA dan siswa kelas VIII MTs. Muhammadiyah Pekajangan. Data yang dianalisis berupa hasil validasi pakar dan hasil dari penerapan dalam pembelajaran. Hasil analisis validasi pakar menunjukkan bahwa kit pembelajaran yang dikembangkan layak digunakan sebagai media pembelajaran berdasarkan penilaian pakar baik dari segi materi maupun media dengan perolehan rata-rata persentase sebesar 96,25% dan 82,14%. Hasil belajar dengan menggunakan kit pembelajaran yang dikembangkan menunjukkan adanya peningkatan hasil belajar siswa dari  0% siswa tuntas KKM pada pretest menjadi 79% pada posttest. Nilai N-gain mencapai 0,57 yang termasuk dalam kriteria sedang, sehingga dapat dikatakan kit pembelajaran IPA yang dikembangkan efektif digunakan sebagai media pembelajaran pada tema bunyi dalam kehidupan. Selain itu, berdasarkan data observasi aktivitas siswa menunjukkan bahwa pembelajaran dengan menggunakan kit pembelajaran yang dikembangkan juga dapat merangsang keaktifan siswa dengan  persentase 57% siswa sangat aktif dan 47% siswa aktif dalam pembelajaran. Hasil penelitian yang telah dilakukan diperoleh simpulan bahwa kit pembelajaran IPA berbasis science edutainment pada tema bunyi dalam kehidupan layak dan efektif digunakan sebagai media pembelajaran serta terbukti dapat merangsang keaktifan siswa dalam pembelajaran This study aims to determine the feasibility and effectiveness of science education kit based on science edutainment in “Sound in Life” themes for students in junior high school. The research design is research and development (R & D). The subjects are a science teacher and eighth grade students of MTs. Muhammadiyah Pekajangan. The data are the result of expert validation and implementation of science education kit based on science edutainment in learning. The analysis of the results shows that the developed science education kit based on science edutainment is feasible to be used as media of learning based on expert evaluation of material (mean percentage=96.25%) and media (mean percentage=82.14%). Learning outcomes by using developed science education kit  shows an increase of student learning result from 0% of students completed the KKM on the pretest to 79% on the posttest. N-gain values ​​reach 0,57 included in the medium criteria, thereby the developed science education kit is effective to be used as learning media on “Sound in Life” theme. Based on observation data, it indicates that the using of developed science education kit can also stimulate the activity of students with 57% of students are very active and 47% of students are active in learning. The result of research that has been done, it can be concluded that science education kit based on science edutainment in “Sound in Life” theme is feasible and effective to be used as learning media and can stimulate the activity of students in learning activity.

Abstract

Science comic merupakan media pembelajaran yang efektif untuk menyampaikan IPA secara sederhana dan mudah. Namun, media science comic dalam pembelajaran IPA di SMP masih jarang digunakan. Pengembangan science comic sebagai media pembelajaran dapat membantu siswa dalam memahami materi IPA secara mudah dengan tampilan yang menghibur. Selain itu, penelitian ini mendukung pelaksanaan kurikulum 2013 dengan mengembangkan media science comic berbasis PBL pada tema bunyi dan pendengaran. Tujuan penelitian ini untuk mengetahui bagaimana kelayakan dan keefektifan media science comic berbasis PBL pada tema bunyi dan pendengaran. Jenis penelitian ini merupakan R and D (Research and Development) yang diadaptasi dari Sugiyono (2008). Penelitian dilaksanakan pada siswa kelas VIII SMP N 1 Welahan. Kelayakan media science comic diuji melalui penilaian pakar media, materi, dan bahasa. Hasil penilaian pakar terhadap science comic berbasis PBL memperoleh kriteria sangat layak dengan persentase penilaian pakar media sebesar 95,83%, pakar materi sebesar 95,37%, dan pakar bahasa sebesar 99,07%. Keefektifan media science comic berbasis PBL dianalisis dari hasil Pretest dan Posttest dengan menggunakan uji N-gain dan t test. Hasil belajar siswa meningkat dengan kategori sedang dengan nilai N-gain sebesar 0,62. Selain itu, kemampuan berpikir siswa juga mengalami peningkatan yang signifikan berdasarkan perhitungan t test dengan nilai thitung> ttabel (22,4>1,68). Dengan demikian, media science comic memenuhi kriteria sebagai media pembelajaran yang layak dan media science comic juga efektif meningkatkan hasil belajar serta kemampuan berpikir kritis siswa. Science comic is an effective learning media to communicate science simply and easily. However, Science comic as a learning media is rarely used in science education for Junior high school. Development science comic as learning media can help student to understand science material easily in visual entertaining way. In addition, this research gives countenance to curriculum 2013 with development science comic based PBL on sound and hearing. This research type is R and D (Research and Development) by research design adapted from Sugiyono (2008). This research has been done in Junior High School of Welahan on 8th grade. The feasibility of science comic based PBL evaluated by science medium expert, material expert, and language expert. The validation result shows that science comic has very feasible as a learning media by score percentage from medium expert at 95.83%, material expert at 95.37%, and language expert at 99.07%.  Science comic based PBL effectiveness is analyzed from Pretest and posttest score by N-gain and t test analysis. Student’s learning outcome increases in average category which showed from N-gain score at 0.62. In addition, student’s critical thinking skill increases significanly by score of tscore > ttabel (22.4>1.68). Thereby, science comic based PBL have not only feasible value as learning media but also effective value in learning process. It increases student’s learning outcomes and student’s critical thinking skill.

Abstract

Berdasarkan hasil wawancara yang dilaksanakan kepada guru IPA di SMPN 22 Semarang diketahui bahwa lebih dari 75% siswa memperoleh nilai IPA belum melampaui kriteria ketuntasan minimal (KKM). Kegiatan belajar mengajar yang dilaksanakan belum menggunakan kurikulum 2013. Mata pelajaran IPA diampu oleh guru bidang studi, karena dasar pendidikan dan pengalaman guru bukan dari bidang studi IPA. Pembelajaran dilaksanakan belum mengoptimalkan media yang tersedia dan belum berpusat pada siswa sehingga kegiatan di dalam kelas membosankan. Kegiatan pembelajaran yang tidak berpusat pada siswa mengakibatkan penanaman nilai karakter rendah. Media yang dikembangkan adalah media permainan kartu UNO. Desain penelitian ini yaitu penelitian pengembangan (Research and Development). Terdapat dua tahap dalam penelitian ini, yaitu pengembangan media permainan kartu UNO dan tahap untuk menguji efektivitas yang dilaksanakan di kelas. Data diperoleh dari angket, tes hasil belajar, observasi, dan dokumentasi. Validasi dari ahli materi didapatkan nilai 94,2% dan ahli media didapatkan nilai 90,8%. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan media permainan kartu UNO efektif dilaksanakan di kelas yang ditunjukkan dengan ketuntasan klasikal hasil belajar mencapai 79,31%, uji gain 0,56. Berdasarkan hasil observasi didapatkan karakter rasa ingin tahu siswa mendapatkan nilai 88,51%, kerja sama 87,36%, mandiri 83,91%, dan komunikatif 88,51% dengan kriteria membudaya. Sehingga media permainan kartu UNO dapat mengembangkan karakter siswa. Based on interview to the science teacher in SMP N 22 Semarang known that there are more than 75% students got score under minimum score criteria. The 2013 curriculum had not used by the school. Learning process had not implemented integratedly because teacher’s basic knowledge was only on one field study (biology or physics). The using of media in science learning had not been optimal. Students did not learning actively made students character in low quality. the media was made was UNO Card Game Media with theme optic. The design of this research was Research and Development (R & D). This research had two phases, that were development of UNO card game media and research to know the effectiveness of media. The data was collected by questionnaire, evaluation test, observation, and documentation. UNO Card Game Media had been assessed by validator of content and media. The score was gotten by validator of content was 94.2%, from validator of media was 90.8%. This research shown that UNO Card Game Media was effective used in science learning that showed by minimal score criteria get 79.31%, gain test 0.56. Based on the observation of character, the curiousity got score 88.51%, team work got score 87.36%, independency got 83.91% and communicative ability 88.51%, was included in culturized criteria. Thus UNO Card Game Media was able to develop student character.

Abstract

Berdasarkan observasi awal di SMP Negeri 2 Magelang  diperoleh pemanfaatan sumber belajar dan media pembelajaran IPA belum terpadu, siswa belum sepenuhnya aktif dalam pembelajaran serta pembelajaran masih berpusat pada guru. Berdasarkan permasalahan tersebut, penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengembangkan media pembelajaran berupa science circuit. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui kelayakan dan keefektifan media science circuit berbasis Edutainment pada pembelajaran tema optik untuk meningkatkan minat dan hasil belajar siswa.  Penelitian ini menggunakan metode Research and Development (R&D). Prosedur penelitian ini meliputi identifikasi potensi dan masalah, pengumpulan data, desain produk, validasi desain produk, revisi desain, uji coba skala kecil, revisi produk 1, uji coba skala besar, revisi produk 2, uji pelaksanaan lapangan, dan produk final. Berdasarkan hasil penelitian, media science circuit berbasis edutainment dinyatakan layak dengan rata-rata persentase total validasi media sebesar 90% dengan kriteria sangat layak, validasi materi sebesar 95% dengan kriteria sangta layak. Penerapan media science circuit berbasis edutainment diperoleh hasil yang menunjukkan peningkatan hasil belajar dengan N-Gain sebesar 0,58 dengan kategori sedang. Minat belajar siswa juga meningkat dilihat dari hasil angket minat sebelum dan sesudah penerapan media science circuit. Peningkatan minat dan hasil belajar siswa menunjukkan bahwa penerapan media science circuit berbasis edutainment dinyatakan efektif. Based on the observation in SMP Negeri 2 Magelang, acquired that the utilization of learning source and media are yet integrated. The class are teacher centered, so then the students are became more inactive. According to these problems, the research is purposed to develop science  circuit as a learning media. This research in intent on knowing te expediency of the science circuit with Edutainment-based in learning of  optic topics, for increasing Students’ interest and learning result. This research is using Research and Development (R&D) method. The procedure was the identification of potential research and issues, data submission, design product, validation design, design revisions, small-scale trials, product 1 revision, a large-scale trials, product 2 revision, implementation scale trials and the final product. According to the research result, science circuit  with Edutainment- based is asserted as a proper media, which is the average of total score percentage is 90%. It also has a proper content of learning materials, which is the average of total score percentage is 95%. Both of these percentage show that science circuit is include in very properly category. Application of the science circuit with Edutainment-based was indicating the increasing of he learning result, with the N-Gain score is 0.58 (average category). Student’s interest were also increasing, which is pointed out in the questionnaire that given before and after applicating science circuit in the class. Increasing of students’ interest and the learning result are showing us that applicating the science circuit with Edutainment-based is effective to be used.

Abstract

Proses pembelajaran IPA ditingkat SMP dalam kurikulum 2013 dilaksanakan dengan berbasis keterpaduan (integrative science), sehingga setiap guru IPA harus memiliki kompetensi dalam membelajarkan IPA secara terpadu. Keterpaduan ini meliputi integrasi dalam bidang IPA dapat ditunjukan melalui LKS. Berdasarkan observasi di SMP Negeri 1 Batangan, LKS yang digunakan belum dapat mengoptimalkan kecerdasan siswa serta belum menunjukan keterpaduan konsep IPA. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui karakteristik, kelayakan dan keefektifan LKS dalam meningkatkan kemampuan berpikir kreatif siswa. Desain penelitian ini adalah Research and Development (R&D). Berdasarkan hasil penelitian menunjukan bahwa LKS ini dikembangkan berdasarkan lima kecerdasan dominan siswa, yakni kecerdasan logis-matematis, jasmaniah-kinestetik, visual-spasial, interpersonal dan eksistensial-spiritual. Pengembangan LKS IPA berbasis multiple intelligences ini dinyatakan layak sesuai instrumen BSNP dengan rata-rata skor validasi komponen isi 3,70, komponen kebahasaan 3,87, dan komponen penyajian 3,67. Penerapan LKS IPA berbasis multiple intelligences diukur melalui uji N-gain dengan nilai peningkatan sebesar 0,71 berkriteria tinggi. Sementara itu, sikap kreatif siswa diukur dengan lembar observasi dan mengalami peningkatan dengan rata-rata skor ≥62% pada setiap pertemuannya. Hal ini menunjukan adanya peningkatan kemampuan berpikir kreatif siswa pada penerapan LKS IPA berbasis multiple intelligences, sehingga LKS ini dinyatakan efektif. The process of science learning for the junior high in 2013 implemented based integerated science curiculum, so every science teacher should have competence to teach it. This integration can be shown by student worksheets. Based on the observation in SMP Negeri 1 Batangan, it was that use student worksheet for science activity. It is not yet optimalization for student multiple intelligences and creativity, also unknown integrated science concept about it. This research aims to determine characteristics, the feasibility and effectiveness of multiple intelligences-science worksheet. This research used of Research and Development (R&D) design. The result is it develope based on five multiple intelligences for students. They are logic-matematic, kinestethic, visual-spacial, interpersonal and exsistensial-spiritual intelligences. Based on the results of the study it was found on that the feasibility of multiple-intelligences student worksheet showed eligible criteria based on BSNP with average score of content validation is 3.70, then average score of linguistic validation is 3.87 and average score of presentation validation is 3.67. Based on implementation, it was that multiple intelligences-science worksheet found the results indicate that the increase creative thinking skill in learning outcomes with N-gain was 0.71 with a high criteria. Then, creative attitude of student is increase for every meeting with average score ≥62%. This shows an increase in students' creative thinking skillfor the application of science-based multiple intelligences-worksheets, so this worksheet  declared effective.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengkaji proses pengembangan dan keefektifan video pada pembelajaran IPA terpadu tema mikroskop untuk siswa MTs. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan Research and Development (R&D). Ada dua tahapan dalam penelitian ini, yaitu tahap proses pengembangan video pembelajaran dan uji efektivitas. Hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa penilaian validator terhadap video pembelajaran sangat layak. Pada  uji coba produk siswa dan guru memberikan penilaian rata-rata sangat layak video pembelajaran. Dalam penelitian ini efektivitas diukur dari signifikansi pengaruh keterampilan siswa menggunakan mikroskop yang mencapai 91% dan signifikansi pengaruh pemahaman siswa yang mencapai nilai 77,5. Berdasarkan hasil penelitian menunjukan bahwa video efektif dan layak digunakan pada pembelajaran IPA terpadu tema mikroskop untuk siswa MTs peneliti nyatakan layak dipakai pada pembelajaran mikroskop kelas VII MTs asy-Syarifiyah Sarirejo. This study aims to assess the effectiveness of the development process and the video on the theme of integrated science teaching microscopes for students MTs . This study uses the approach of Research and Development ( R & D ) . There are two stages in this study , the stage of the development process and test the effectiveness of instructional videos . The results of this study indicate that the assessment validator to the video is well worth learning . In product testing gives students and teachers the average valuation is well worth learning videos . In this study measured the effectiveness of the significance of the influence of students' skills using a microscope reached 91 % and the significance of understanding the influence of students who achieve a score of 77.5 . Based on the results of the study showed that the effective and appropriate use of video on the theme of integrated science teaching microscopes for students declared unfit junior researchers on learning class VII MTs microscope asy- Syarifiyah Sarirejo .

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui kelayakan alat peraga IPA terpadu terhadap peningkatan Keterampilan Proses Sains (KPS) pada tema pemisahan campuran. Desain penelitian yang digunakan adalah penelitian dan pengembangan (R&D), dengan subjek penelitian guru IPA dan siswa kelas VII SMP N 1 Kembang. Instrumen yang digunakan meliputi  tes, angket, wawancara, lembar validasi dan lembar observasi. Data yang dianalisis berupa hasil validasi pakar dan hasil penerapan dalam pembelajaran. Hasil analisis validasi pakar menunjukkan bahwa alat peraga yang dikembangkan layak digunakan sebagai media pembelajaran berdasarkan penilaian pakar materi maupun alat peraga dengan persentase rata-rata sebesar 96,25% dan 87,50%. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa alat peraga  yang dikembangkan mampu meningkatkan KPS siswa, dengan nilai N-gain mencapai 0,71 yang termasuk dalam kriteria tinggi. Peningkatan KPS tertinggi terjadi pada indikator mengamati sedangkan terendah pada indikator berkomunikasi. Hasil belajar menggunakan alat peraga menunjukkan adanya peningkatan hasil belajar siswa dari  0% siswa tuntas KKM pada pretest menjadi 85,19% pada posttest. Data observasi sikap ilmiah siswa menunjukkan bahwa pembelajaran menggunakan alat peraga dapat merangsang keaktifan siswa dengan  persentase 55,56% siswa sangat aktif dan 44,44% siswa aktif dalam pembelajaran. Pembelajaran yang dilakukan telah memberi kesempatan siswa untuk berpartisipasi secara aktif dan meningkatkan motivasi belajar karena dihubungkan dengan pengalaman siswa dalam kehidupan sehari-hari. This study aims to investigate the feasibility of teaching aids for integrated natural science toward the improvement of Science Process Skills on the theme of mixture separation. Research design used in this study was research and development (R & D), with natural science teacher and seventh graders of SMP N 1 Kembang as the research subject. The instrument used in this study included test, questionnaire, interview, validation sheet, and observation sheet. The analyzed data was in form of the result of expert validation and the result of implementation in learning. The result of expert validation showed that the developed props was feasible to be used as learning media based on the evaluation from material expert and props expert with average percentage of 96.25% and 87.50%. The result of this study showed that the developed props could improve students’ Science Process Skills, with the value of N-gain reaching 0.71 that was included in high criteria. The highest improvement of Science Process Skills occurred in indicator of observing, while the lowest occurred in indicator of communicating. The learning outcome using the props showed an improvement of students’ learning outcome and 0% student who completed the Minimum Mastery Criteria in the pre-test became 85.19% in the post-test. The data of students’ scientific attitude observation showed that learning using the props could stimulate students’ activeness with percentage of 55.56% very active students and 44.44% active students in learning. The implemented learning has provided an opportunity for students to participate actively and improve learning motivation because it was connected to students’ experiences in daily life.
