Abstract

This research aims to determine the influence of Organizational Culture (X1) and Work Motivation (X2) on Employee Performance (Y) at PT. Nikomas Gemilang. Sampling technique in this research is simple random sampling, the sample in this research consisted of 50 respondents. The data collection method uses a questionnaire and the measuring instrument used is a Likert scale. Using IBM SPSS Statistics 24 software. Partial research results (t test) state that the organizational culture variable has tcount > ttable, namely 1.872 > 1.678 and a significance level of 0.067 < 0.05, meaning that organizational culture has a positive and significant influence on employee performance, variable work motivation has a value of tcount > ttable, namely 4.082 > 1.678 and a significance level of 0.000 < 0.05, meaning that work motivation has a positive and significant effect on employee performance, and the variables of organizational culture and work motivation have a value of fcount > ftable, namely 64.456 > 2.802 and a significance level 0.000 > 0.05 means that organizational culture and work motivation have an influence on performance. positive and significant influence on employee performance simultaneously.

Abstract

The close relationship between philosophy and education significantly influences the formation of individual thinking and character. In the context of Islamic education, integrating philosophical knowledge plays a crucial role in developing students' critical, logical, and ethical thinking. This study aims to explore the application of philosophy within the Islamic education system and its benefits for students' intellectual and spiritual growth. Using a qualitative approach through literature review, this research explains the main concepts of philosophy and their correlation with the values of Islamic education. The findings indicate that incorporating philosophy into the Islamic education system can contribute to enhancing critical, logical, and analytical thinking skills, as well as deepening the understanding of ethics and morals in Islam. Moreover, the study of philosophy can enrich spiritual insights and help students comprehend the complexities of life more profoundly. The research concludes that implementing philosophy in Islamic education is a vital step in shaping individuals who are intellectually and spiritually astute, with strong moral integrity.

Abstract

Emotions are pivotal in shaping teaching behavior and quality, especially in the English Language Teaching (ELT) context. While prior research has largely focused on teachers within their home environments, the emotional experiences of non-local teachers, such as Indonesian English teachers in Thailand, remain underexplored. This study investigates the antecedents of these teachers' emotional experiences, considering the unique challenges of language barriers and cultural differences. Using semi-structured interviews with 10 Indonesian English teachers in Thai elementary and secondary schools, the researchers conducted a thematic analysis to identify key emotional triggers. Our findings reveal that student-related factors, such as positive interactions and academic achievements, evoke happiness, pride, and satisfaction. Conversely, negative behaviors and comprehension issues lead to frustration, annoyance, and stress. Teacher-related factors, including teaching proficiency, significantly influence their emotional landscape. Additionally, other factors like collegial relationships, school culture, workload, and parental involvement further shape their emotional experiences. The implications of this study are critical for educational psychology, teacher education, and communication within international contexts. For educators, engaging in cultural adaptation and continuous professional development is essential for enhancing emotional resilience and teaching effectiveness. Schools should aim to create inclusive environments that support non-local teachers and offer tailored professional development. Training programs should focus on cultural competence and effective communication strategies to better prepare teachers for international teaching assignments.

Abstract

Kemampuan dalam mengelola dan melaksanakan manajemen kelas yang baik merupakan upaya penting dalam mendukung peningkatan kualitas pendidikan yang berhubungan dengan proses belajar mengajar di dalam kelas. Oleh karena itu, manajemen kelas yang efektif sangat diperlukan untuk mencapai tujuan pembelajaran. Dalam hal ini, guru memiliki peran kunci yang menentukan keberhasilan siswa dalam belajar. Guru perlu terus menerus memastikan dan menciptakan suasana yang kondusif dan efektif di dalam kelas. Penelitian ini dilakukan dengan pendekatan kualitatif dan metode deskriptif, mengumpulkan data melalui wawancara, observasi, dan dokumentasi, dengan objek penelitian di SDN 3 JATIWANGI KOTA BIMA . Hasil dari penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa guru telah merancang dan mengelola proses pembelajaran dengan baik, yang meliputi: (a) Perencanaan manajemen kelas yang melibatkan penyusunan silabus dan RPP(b) Pelaksanaan manajemen kelas yang mencakup tindakan mengatasi hambatan dalam proses manajemen kelas serta menciptakan iklim atau suasana kelas yang mendukung; (c) Aktivitas penutup pembelajaran berupa evaluasi yang diberikan kepada siswa secara lisan dan tulisan; (d) Efektivitas pembelajaran yang diukur dari kemampuan guru mengelola kelas, ketuntasan belajar, aktivitas belajar siswa, dan respon positif siswa terhadap pembelajaran, faktor-faktor pendukung dalam implementasi manajemen kelas untuk meningkatkan efektivitas pembelajaran siswa kelas 3 SDN 3 JATIWANGI KOTA BIMA yang telah dipaparkan diharapkan dapat dijadikan sebagai sarana dan solusi bagi guru untuk mengatasi hambatan dalam pelaksanaan manajemen kelas di SDN 3 JATIWANGI KOTA BIMA.

Abstract

Problem in this research is on a metaphor in a novel Tenun Biru work Ugi Agustono: a stylistic study. Problem of this research are focused on investigating the form, function and meaning of metaphors found in a novel Tenun Biru. There are two benefits of this research namely theoretical and practical benefits and this research use a qualitative method as well as descriptive method. This research using the theory of stylistic pertaining to style of language (figure) to get better results in analyzing form, function and meaning metaphor, as of theory of stylistic considered relevant to inspect figure of a metaphor in a novel. Thus this research get the result of a metaphor comprising a antropormorfic metaphor, sinestic metaphor, abstract into concrete metaphor, dead metaphor, and the life metaphor. This study aims to examine the function and meaning of metaphors in the novel Tenun Biru. Consequently, this research provides both theoretical and practical benefits by employing a qualitative research method with a descriptive approach. The study utilizes stylistic theory, which relates to language style (figurative language), to achieve better results in analyzing the forms, functions, and meanings of metaphors. Stylistic theory is considered relevant for studying metaphors in the novel. Furthermore, the functions and meanings of metaphors include informational, expressive, directive, and phatic functions and meanings. Thus, this research identifies the functions and meanings of metaphors used by the author in crafting a literary work in the form of a novel, as metaphors are employed as comparisons to analogize events that serve as the focus of this study.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis implementasi akad pada produk Asuransi Jiwa Syariah Bumiputera dengan fokus pada penerapan akad Tabarru’, Wakālah bil Ujrah, dan Mudharabah pada produk Mitra Iqra Plus. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode kualitatif dengan pendekatan deskriptif, di mana pengumpulan data dilakukan melalui wawancara mendalam, observasi langsung, dan studi dokumentasi terhadap polis asuransi serta pedoman operasional perusahaan. Pendekatan ini dipilih untuk memperoleh pemahaman yang komprehensif mengenai kesesuaian antara ketentuan akad yang tertulis dengan praktik operasional di lapangan. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa secara konseptual, seluruh produk Asuransi Jiwa Syariah Bumiputera telah dirancang berdasarkan prinsip-prinsip syariah. Hal ini tercermin dalam pengaturan kontribusi peserta melalui dana Tabarru’ sebagai mekanisme tolong-menolong, penetapan ujrah bagi perusahaan melalui akad Wakālah bil Ujrah, serta pengelolaan dana investasi menggunakan akad Mudharabah dengan sistem bagi hasil. Namun demikian, penelitian ini menemukan adanya ketidaksesuaian dalam implementasi produk Mitra Iqra Plus, khususnya terkait dengan mekanisme distribusi surplus underwriting. Meskipun dalam polis telah ditetapkan pembagian surplus underwriting sebesar 50% untuk dana Tabarru’, 20% untuk perusahaan, dan 30% untuk peserta, dalam praktiknya seluruh surplus underwriting dimasukkan kembali ke rekening dana Tabarru’ tanpa adanya pembagian kepada peserta. Temuan ini menunjukkan adanya kesenjangan antara ketentuan akad dan praktik operasional, sehingga diperlukan penguatan pengawasan syariah serta peningkatan transparansi dan akuntabilitas kepada peserta guna menjaga prinsip keadilan dan amanah dalam asuransi syariah.

Abstract

In today's globalised environment, the importance of conversation in English cannot be underestimated. Conversation in English is the most widely used universal language worldwide and is the primary language in international business. For Indonesia, which seeks to navigate the challenges and opportunities of the free market era and the era of globalisation, mastering a global language, particularly conversation in English, is very important. Proficiency in English conversation equips them for effective communication within SAARC as well as the BIMSTEC Economic Community and European Union countries. In the field of management, English conversation also serves as an international language, ensuring smooth communication and facilitating successful cooperation among diverse stakeholders. Effective communication is essential in business operations. Without it, collaboration between producers, distributors, and consumers will being hindered, which leads to a decrease in entrepreneurial effectiveness. Mastering conversation in English enables us to interact confidently with international business partners, fostering relationships with people around the world. Abstract

This study aims to analyze the effect of training on employee job satisfaction, focusing on workload and motivation. This research proposes that practical training can reduce workload, increase motivation, and ultimately increase employee job satisfaction. The research method used was quantitative, with an association approach, identifying the relationship between the variables. The research population consisted of 199 employees of the Cilegon City Public Works and Spatial Planning Office, with a total sampling technique. Data collection was conducted using a Likert-scale questionnaire. For data analysis, Structural Equation Modeling (SEM) was used with SmartPLS 4.0. The results of the study show that training has no direct effect on job satisfaction; however, it does have a significant effect on work motivation and workload, which, in turn, affect job satisfaction. Training that is relevant and tailored to employees' needs has been proven to reduce perceived workload, increase motivation, and boost job satisfaction. These findings make an important contribution to the development of human resource management strategies to improve employee performance and satisfaction in the public sector. It is hoped that this research can make a theoretical contribution to the literature in this context, of course, in the context of human resource management.

Abstract

Employee performance can be used as a benchmark for an agency in managing its human resources. This study, among others, examines and analyzes the factors in improving employee performance by developing human resources through work motivation. This research was conducted at the public works and spatial planning services with a population of 198 using a sample of 150 respondents. The questionnaire method was distributed using an interval scale of 1 strongly disagree to 10 strongly agree—data analysis technique using SEM PLS 4. The results of this study indicate that there is an influence of human resource development on employee performance, there is an influence of human resource development on work motivation, there is an influence of work motivation on employee performance, and work motivation can be a mediation in improving employee performance.

Abstract

Kurikulum di Indonesia mengalami banyak perkembangan. Saat ini kurikulum yang diimpelentasikan yaitu kurikulum merdeka. Tujuan penelitian ini untuk 1) mengetahui implementasi kurikulum merdeka 2) mengetahui metode penerapan kurikulum merdeka 3) mengetahui faktor pendukung dan penghambat dalam implementasi kurikulum merdeka. Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian Kualitatif dengan Pendekatan Studi Kasus. Alasan peneliti memilih studi kasus karena jenis pendekatan ini sangat cocok untuk mengambarkan keadaan dan situasi implementasi kurikulum di SDN 15 Ntobo Kota Bima yang merupakan tempat penelitian. Subjek pada penelitian ini adalah Kepala sekolah, Waka Kurikulum, Guru kelas dan Beberapa guru yang bersedia untuk di wawancarai. Teknik pengumpulan data pada penelitian ini menggunakan Observasi dan wawancara dengan Triangulasi sumber. Teknik analisis dengan menggunakan Model Miles Huberman. Hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan 1) Implementasi Kurikulum merdeka di SDN 15 Ntobo Kota Bima Sudah berjalan dengan baik 2) Metode yang dilakukan dalam implementasi Kurikulum merdeka adalah baru kelas 1-4 yang menggunakan Kurikulum Merdeka 3) Faktor yang penting dalam implementasi kurikulum merdeka adalah kesiapan guru dalam menerima kurikulum merdeka.
