Abstract

WhatsApp Business has become a crucial communication tool for many businesses, enabling direct and efficient customer interactions. This study uses Riviera Publishing as a case study to analyze the role of WhatsApp Business in driving engagement, satisfaction, and loyalty to increase customer numbers. Specifically, it examines how Riviera Publishing utilizes WhatsApp Business, loyalty, and satisfaction strategies to impact customer growth. The research employs a quantitative method, collecting data through online surveys among active Riviera Publishing customers who use WhatsApp Business. A simple random sample was selected from the customer population, and structured questionnaires were used to gather data on customer experiences with WhatsApp Business. Data were analyzed using descriptive statistics and regression techniques. The results indicate that WhatsApp Business engagement significantly enhances customer numbers through more responsive and personalized interactions, boosting customer satisfaction with Riviera Publishing’s services and reinforcing loyalty. Additionally, the use of WhatsApp Business contributes to customer growth through more effective marketing strategies and a broader reach. This study concludes that WhatsApp Business is not merely a communication tool but also an effective strategy for building closer customer relationships, which is essential for business growth and success. The practical implications of the research include the development of advanced digital marketing strategies and enhancing customer service based on direct and responsive interactions via the WhatsApp Business platform.

Abstract

In general, integral calculus courses are difficult for students because the problems involved require strong problem-solving skills. For university students, integral calculus courses also require them to do self-regulated, or independent, learning. Another aspect that makes learning difficult for these students is their mathematical beliefs and prior knowledge. This study aims to see how different types of mathematical beliefs affect self-regulated learning in terms of students' prior knowledge. This research was conducted on students in a mathematics education study program at a private university in Tangerang with a sample of 120 students. This research is an ex post facto quantitative study using a two factorial design. The variables in this study consisted of independent variables in the form of mathematical beliefs, the moderator variable in the form of students’ prior knowledge, and the dependent variable in the form of self-regulated learning. The results obtained are: (1) self-regulated learning by students with logical consistency mathematical beliefs is higher than students with memorized and procedural beliefs, (2) there is an interaction between mathematical beliefs and prior knowledge towards self-regulated learning, (3) student in the high prior knowledge gorup logical consistency beliefs had higher self-regulated learning than students with memorized and procedural beliefs, and (4) self-regulated learning in the low mathematics prior knowledge group with logical consistency beliefs is lower than students with memorized and procedural beliefs.BAHASA INDONESIA ABSTRACT: Mata kuliah kalkulus integral pada umumnya masih menjadi kesulitan bagi mahasiswa karena permasalahan yang terkandung membutuhkan pemecahan masalah yang kuat. Kalkulus integral juga membutuhkan kemandirian belajar bagi mahasiswa yang mempelajarinya. Hal lain yang menjadi kesulitan mahasiswa adalah faktor keyakinan matematis dan pengetahuan awal matematis. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk melihat perbedaan jenis keyakinan matematis terhadap kemandirian belajar mahasiswa ditinjau dari pengetahuan awal matematisnya. Penelitian ini dilakukan terhadap mahasiswa program studi pendidikan Matematika pada salah satu universitas swasta di Tangerang dengan sampel yang digunakan sebanyak 120 orang. Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian kuantitatif ex post facto dengan menggunakan desain dua faktorial. Variabel pada penelitian ini terdiri dari variabel bebas berupa keyakinan matematis, variabel moderator berupa pengetahuan awal matematis, dan variabel terikat berupa kemandirian belajar. Hasil penelitian yang didapatkan adalah: (1) mahasiswa dengan keyakinan logical consistency memiliki kemandirian belajar lebih tinggi daripada mahasiswa dengan keyakinan hafalan dan prosedural, (2) terdapat interaksi antara keyakinan matematis dan pengetahuan awal matematis (PAM) terhadap kemandirian belajar mahasiswa, (3) mahasiswa pada kelompok PAM tinggi dengan keyakinan logical consistency memiliki kemandirian belajar lebih tinggi daripada mahasiswa dengan keyakinan hafalan dan prosedural, dan (4) mahasiswa pada kelompok PAM rendah dengan keyakinan logical consistency memiliki kemandirian belajar lebih rendah daripada mahasiswa dengan keyakinan hafalan dan prosedural.

Abstract

This article discusses the traditional knowledge of society is the wealth of inheritance obtained from previous generations. The knowledge contains two elements; local elements and elements of Islam. In this element there are beliefs that are associated with supernatural powers, and there are also beliefs that are associated with science. Explanation of these two aspects often cannot be done because of a limited understanding of the culture of the community. Instead of culture that is sustainable, often culture is abandoned because it is considered a prohibited work. Taking examples of activities 40 days after giving birth, this article explains the transition of cultural aspects from belief to knowledge. That is why the response to local culture must be preceded by deepening before any attitude is given.

Abstract

Spatial ability is part of the learning outcomes for the geometry element of the Merdeka Curriculum. The spatial ability assessment instrument must be proven valid so that it can be ensured that it correctly measures the aspect it wants to measure. This research developed and proved the validity of an instrument for assessing the spatial ability of phase C students in grade V based on classical test theory. The instrument was validated by 6 raters consisting of 3 assessment expert and 3 mathematics teachers. The results of the 6 raters' assessments were processed using Aiken V. The results showed that each question item was proven to be content valid. The 20 question items were in accordance with the indicators, material coverage and constructs as measured by a calculated V value of not less than 0.92. The instrument was tested on 40 grade V students at SDN 04 Petang Kalideres to prove the construct validity. The test results showed that 14 of the 20 questions were proven to be valid with r value of more than 0.308, 1 out of 6 questions should be eliminated due to a negative r value while the other 5 questions should be revised, and the instrument reliability was 0.659 in the medium category

Abstract

This research is a qualitative research. The purpose of this study is to describe students' mathematical connection abilities in terms of self-efficacy. Data collection techniques in qualitative research include (1) questionnaires, (2) interviews, and (3) documentation of students' work as supporting data for analysis. Data analysis in qualitative research includes data reduction, data presentation, and drawing conclusions. From this study it can be concluded that students with high self-efficacy are able to relate the 3 indicators of mathematical connection ability well, which means students with high self-efficacy will also have high mathematical connection ability. Students with moderate self-efficacy are only able to connect 2 indicators of mathematical connection ability well because students tend not to because these students lack understanding of the concepts being taught and students with low self-efficacy are only able to relate 1 indicator of mathematical connection ability well because students are less able connecting mathematical concepts. Abstract

Math majors must be excellent problem solvers because problem-solving is the foundation of teaching mathematics. Their problem-solving skills will help them create service initiatives as math teachers. This research investigated how well the APOS-based PBL model enhances students' skills in solving mathematical problems. This quasi-experimental design used a non-equivalent post-test-only control group, which is quantitative. Students at a university in Central Java, Indonesia, participated in the study. Tests of problem-solving skills were useful to collect the data. The results of the study showed that (1) students' problem-solving skills lead to learning completion (71); (2) students taught using a modified PBL model based on APOS theory have a different proportion of learning completeness than students taught using an average class using a direct learning model; (3) students' average problem-solving skills taught using the modified PBL model based on APOS theory are superior to those taught in the average class using a direct learning model; (4) increasing students' problem-solving skills taught using a modified PBL model based on APOS theory is preferable to improving students' skills taught using a direct learning model. This study offers insightful insights into the PBL model's implementation, incorporating APOS theory at every stage. Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengembangkan lembar kerja peserta didik berbasis pembelajaran contextual teaching and learning di kelas v sekolah dasar negeri 38 Pontianak Utara yang valid dan layak untuk pembelajaran tematik. Metode yang digunakan adalah Research and Development (R&D) dangan mengadaptasi model penelitian pengembangan ADDIE (Analysis, Design, Development, Implementation, dan Evaluation) yang dikembangkan oleh Dick dan Carry dan hanya menempuh 4 tahap penelitian yaitu Analysis, Design, Development, dan Implementation. Tingkat validitas berdasarkan hasil validasi oleh ahli materi diperoleh persentase 96,3% kriteria sangat valid, ahli bahasa diperoleh persentase 99,2% kriteria sangat valid, dan ahli desain diperoleh persentase 95,8% kriteria sangat valid. Tingkat kelayakan berdasarkan hasil respon peserta didik kelompok kecil diperoleh pesersentase 97,1% kriteria sangat layak dan berdasarkan hasil respon peserta didik kelompok besar diperoleh persentase 96,4% kriteria sangat layak untuk digunakan dalam pembelajaran.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan menganalisis tingkat kelayakan produk buku elektronik dan respon guru dan peserta didik terhadap produk pengembangan buku elektronik pada Tema 2 Subtema 1. Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah penelitian dan pengembangan (RnD) dengan mengadopsi model pengembangan ADDIE (Analysis, Design, Development, Implementation, Evaluation). Sumber data penelitian ini adalah hasil validasi dua validator, hasil respon guru dan hasil respon peserta didik terhadap produk yang dikembangkan. Teknik pengumpulan data penelitian ini ialah angket validasi validator, angket respon guru dan angket respon peserta didik. Hasil validasi tahap I memperoleh rata-rata 4,3 kriteria sangat valid/layak, dan hasil validasi tahap II memperoleh rata-rata 4,7 kriteria sangat valid/layak. Hasil respon dari guru memperoleh persentase 84% dengan kriteria sangat baik/praktis. Hasil respon peserta didik pada skala kecil memperoleh persentase 82% kriteria sangat baik/praktis. Hasil respon peserta didik pada skala besar memperoleh persentase 87% kriteria sangat baik/praktis.

Abstract

Penelitian ini secara umum bertujuan untuk menghasilkan E-modul menggunakan aplikasi Heyzine Flipbook untuk kelas V sekolah dasar yang valid dan praktis digunakan untuk membantu kegiatan pembelajaran tematik, tema 8 subtema 1. Metode yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah metode ADDIE. Sumber penelitian ini adalah seorang wali kelas, 30 orang peserta didik kelas V D Sekolah Dasar Mujahidin Pontianak, dan dua orang validator ahli, yaitu ahli desain dan materi. Teknik pengumpulan data pada penelitian ini adalah wawancara dan kuesioner. Hasil penelitian menunjukan bahwa pengembangan E-modul menggunakan Heyzine Flipbook sudah melalui lima langkah penelitian, yaitu analysis, design, development, implementation, dan evaluation. Kelayakan produk pengembangan E-modul menggunakan Heyzine Flipbook memperoleh kategori “Sangat Valid” dari validator ahli, yaitu pada aspek desain memperoleh skor 88,49% dan, aspek materi memperoleh skor 87,49% sehingga layak untuk di ujicobakan berdasarkan aspek desain dan materi. Memenuhi kategori “Sangat Praktis” dengan perolehan skor 96% oleh pendidik dan 90% oleh peserta didik, sehingga E-modul menggunakan Heyzine Flipbook memenuhi kriteria praktis dan layak digunakan dalam proses pembelajaran. Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui: 1) Faktor-faktor yang menyebabkan kesulitan belajar membaca, menulis, dan berhitung pada siswa kelas I SD Negeri 03 Pendawan: 2) Upaya yang dilakukan guru dalam mengatasi kesulitan belajar membaca, menulis, dan berhitung pada siswa kelas I SD Negeri 03 Pendawan. Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah metode deskripsi. Adapun subjek dalam penelitian ini adalah kepala sekolah dan guru kelas I SD Negeri 03 Pendawan. Alat pengumpul data yang digunakan yaitu wawancara, observasi dan dokumentasi Teknik analisis data dalam penelitian ini menggunakan reduksi data, display data dan penarikan kesimpulan. Hasil dari penelitian dapat disimpulkan bahwa: 1) Faktor pendukung upaya guru dalam mengatasi kesulitan belajar, membaca, menulis dan berhitung adalah ketalenan, kesabaran, dan motivasi dari guru dan buku-buku bacaan yang ada di perpustakaan dimanfaatkan secara maksimal, dan faktor penghambat berupa pengalaman peserta didik di sekolah, pengalaman anak di rumah dan perhatian orangtua, serta pengaruh tayangan telivisi dan smartphone: 2) Menggunakan metode yang bervariasi yaitu metode tanya jawab, bercerita bermain peran, peragaan atau demonstrasi, menciptakan lingkungan belajar yang efektif dan kondusif, pemberian reward atau hadiah, dan selanjutnya media pembelajaran berupa media poster, potongan gambar, media visual dan flash card. Kata Kunci: Upaya Guru dan Kesulitan Belajar
