Abstract

The rapid development of digital technology has significantly transformed various aspects of human life, including education. This condition requires Islamic education to adapt by developing a curriculum capable of addressing contemporary challenges while maintaining the fundamental values of Islamic teachings. This study aims to analyze the challenges faced by Islamic education in the digital era and examine relevant curriculum development strategies to respond to these changes. The study employed a qualitative approach using a library research method. Data were collected from books, scientific journals, articles, and other relevant literature discussing Islamic education curriculum development in the digital era. Data analysis was conducted descriptively through the processes of data collection, reduction, presentation, and conclusion drawing. The findings indicate that the main challenges of Islamic education in the digital era include the rapid flow of information, low digital literacy, changes in students' learning patterns, and the need to improve teachers’ competencies. Curriculum development should focus on integrating technology into learning, strengthening character education, enhancing digital literacy, and improving educators’ competencies. Therefore, the Islamic education curriculum is expected to produce generations who are faithful, possess noble character, adapt to technological advancements, and are prepared to face global challenges. Perkembangan teknologi digital telah membawa perubahan yang signifikan dalam berbagai aspek kehidupan, termasuk bidang pendidikan. Kondisi ini menuntut pendidikan Islam untuk melakukan adaptasi melalui pengembangan kurikulum yang mampu menjawab tantangan zaman tanpa meninggalkan nilai-nilai dasar ajaran Islam. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis tantangan yang dihadapi pendidikan Islam di era digital serta mengkaji strategi pengembangan kurikulum yang relevan dalam menghadapi perubahan tersebut. Penelitian menggunakan metode studi kepustakaan (library research) dengan pendekatan kualitatif. Data diperoleh melalui kajian berbagai buku, jurnal ilmiah, artikel, dan sumber literatur yang berkaitan dengan pengembangan kurikulum pendidikan Islam di era digital. Analisis data dilakukan secara deskriptif-kualitatif melalui proses pengumpulan, reduksi, penyajian, dan penarikan kesimpulan. Hasil kajian menunjukkan bahwa tantangan utama pendidikan Islam di era digital meliputi derasnya arus informasi, rendahnya literasi digital, perubahan pola belajar peserta didik, serta tuntutan peningkatan kompetensi guru. Pengembangan kurikulum pendidikan Islam perlu dilakukan melalui integrasi teknologi dalam pembelajaran, penguatan pendidikan karakter, peningkatan literasi digital, serta pengembangan kompetensi pendidik. Dengan demikian, kurikulum pendidikan Islam diharapkan mampu menghasilkan generasi yang beriman, berakhlak mulia, adaptif terhadap perkembangan teknologi, dan siap menghadapi tantangan global.

Abstract

Curriculum is one of the important elements in the implementation of education, including in Islamic Religious Education (PAI). In the development process, curriculum cannot be compiled arbitrarily, but needs to be based on various foundations that can serve as a reference so that educational objectives can be achieved properly. This article discusses various bases that become the foundation for developing the PAI curriculum, namely philosophical, psychological, sociological, and juridical foundations. The philosophical foundation plays a role in providing direction and basic values of Islamic education sourced from the Qur'an and Hadith. The psychological foundation is related to the characteristics and stages of development of students so that learning materials and processes can be adjusted to their needs. Meanwhile, the sociological foundation emphasizes the importance of curriculum to answer the needs of society and ongoing social changes. Meanwhile, the juridical foundation serves as a guide so that the curriculum developed remains in accordance with applicable education regulations and policies. Through understanding of these four foundations, the development of the PAI curriculum is expected to be able to produce students who have strong faith, broad insights, and are able to contribute positively to social, national, and religious life. Kurikulum merupakan salah satu unsur penting dalam penyelenggaraan pendidikan, termasuk dalam Pendidikan Agama Islam (PAI). Dalam proses pengembangannya, kurikulum tidak dapat disusun secara asal, tetapi perlu didasarkan pada berbagai landasan yang dapat menjadi acuan agar tujuan pendidikan dapat tercapai dengan baik. Artikel ini membahas berbagai landasan yang menjadi dasar pengembangan kurikulum PAI, yaitu landasan filosofis, psikologis, sosiologis, dan yuridis. Landasan filosofis berperan dalam memberikan arah dan nilai dasar pendidikan Islam yang bersumber dari Al-Qur'an dan Hadis. Landasan psikologis berkaitan dengan karakteristik serta tahap perkembangan peserta didik sehingga materi dan proses pembelajaran dapat disesuaikan dengan kebutuhan mereka. Sementara itu, landasan sosiologis menekankan pentingnya kurikulum untuk menjawab kebutuhan masyarakat serta perubahan sosial yang terus berlangsung. Adapun landasan yuridis menjadi pedoman agar kurikulum yang dikembangkan tetap sesuai dengan peraturan dan kebijakan pendidikan yang berlaku. Melalui pemahaman terhadap keempat landasan tersebut, pengembangan kurikulum PAI diharapkan mampu menghasilkan peserta didik yang memiliki keimanan yang kuat, wawasan yang luas, serta mampu memberikan kontribusi positif bagi kehidupan bermasyarakat, berbangsa, dan beragama.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the influence of the presence of Islamic Religious Education (PAI) teachers as role models on students' religious behavior at MAN 2 Karawang. Religious education in schools is not only oriented towards knowledge transfer, but also character building and internalization of religious values ​​in daily life. Therefore, teacher role models are an important factor in shaping students' religious behavior. This study used a quantitative approach with a correlational survey method. The research sample consisted of 28 grade XI students selected through a purposive sampling technique. The research instrument was a Likert scale questionnaire that had been tested for validity and reliability. Data analysis used descriptive statistics and simple linear regression. The results showed that the presence of Islamic Religious Education (PAI) teachers was in the moderate category with an average value of 32.21, while students' religious behavior was in the moderate category with an average value of 34.29. The regression test showed a positive relationship with an R value of 0.583 and a coefficient of determination of 34.0%. This confirms that teacher role models have a significant contribution in shaping students' religious behavior. Thus, improving the quality of Islamic Religious Education teachers' role models is a strategic step in strengthening the character of students in the madrasa environment (Akip et al., 2025; Dewangga et al., 2026).

Abstract

This finding is driven by the importance of moral-based education in addressing issues of moral decline in the context of globalization, particularly at the Madrasah Ibtidaiyah (Islamic elementary school) level. This study aims to analyze teachers' perspectives on moral-based education and the role of the educational environment in supporting the learning process. This study uses a descriptive qualitative methodology. Data were collected through observation, interviews, and documentation with Madrasah teachers at MI Al-Manar, Telukjambe Timur, Karawang. The Miles and Huberman model was used for data analysis, which included data reduction, data presentation, and conclusion formulation. The findings indicate that teachers view moral-based education as the main foundation in the educational process, where success is assessed not only through academic achievement but also from the behavior and morals of students. In addition, the educational environment, including the physical environment of the madrasah, family, and community, contributes significantly to the development of students' morals, although obstacles remain such as limited facilities and infrastructure and low parental involvement. Therefore, collaboration between various stakeholders is crucial in supporting the optimization of moral-based education in Madrasah Ibtidaiyah.

Abstract

Kepemimpinan manajerial dalam pendidikan Islam merupakan aspek penting yang menentukan keberhasilan institusi pendidikan dalam mencapai visi dan misinya. Kepemimpinan dalam konteks ini tidak hanya berkaitan dengan bagaimana seorang pemimpin mengarahkan dan mengelola sumber daya yang ada, tetapi juga bagaimana ia menerapkan prinsip-prinsip Islam dalam proses pengambilan keputusan dan pengelolaan organisasi. Dalam pendidikan Islam, kepemimpinan manajerial menuntut adanya keselarasan antara nilai-nilai spiritual dengan praktik manajemen modern.Pemimpin yang sesuai dengan dambaan Islam adalah pemimpin dengan jiwa dan pola sesuai dengan tuntunan Nabi Muhammad saw atau pemimpin yang sesuai dengan jiwa dan metode kenabian. Pemimpin dambaan ummat adalah pemimpin yang membawa ummat menciptakan peradaban mulia dan senantiasa mengingatkan kita bagaimana cara meningkatkan Iman dan Taqwa kepada Allah swt seperti yang dilakukan oleh Nabi Muhammad saw. Karena sejatinya, setiap manusia adalah seorang pemimpin dimana kepemimpinannya akan dipertanggung jawabkan di akhirat. Abstract

Islamization in the Nusantara since the thirteenth century, which occurred through trade, politics, education, and cultural acculturation. This study aims to analyze the role of religious scholars and Sufi figures in shaping the tradition of Sufism in Indonesia, as well as its relevance in responding to the challenges of modern society. The research employs a qualitative descriptive approach based on library research, examining relevant historical sources, books, and scholarly journals. The findings indicate that Sufism played a significant role in the success of Islamization, as Sufi figures adopted strategic, contextual, ethical, and culturally accommodative approaches to preach. This is reflected in the thought and practices of figures such as Hamzah Fansuri, Syamsuddin of Sumatra, Nuruddin ar-Raniri, Abdurrauf of Singkel, Shaykh Nawawi al-Bantani, and Hamka. Subsequently, Sufism in Indonesia developed as an adaptive and moderate spiritual tradition and remains relevant as a foundation for mental, character, moral, and spiritual formation within society, particularly in confronting material crises, capitalism, and modernity.

Abstract

Masa Remaja adalah salah satu masa yang cukup terlihat dari perubahan sikap, fisik, bahkan pola berfikir. Usia remaja berkisar antara 11 – 24 tahun dan pada masa ini, keingintahuan remaja sangat tinggi sehingga pada masa ini, anak remaja sangat rentan sekali terhadap apapun. Menurut Ahmad, Pada usia remaja, siswa dengan mudah dapat terpengaruh oleh lingkungan sekitar, pengaruh disini dapat bersifat positif maupun negatif. Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui realitas profesionalisme guru terhadap akhlak siswa XI di SMAN 1 Cikarang Timur, untuk mengetahui bagaimana pengaruh profesionalisme terhadap akhlak siswa kelas XI di SMAN 1 Cikarang Timur. Pendekatan penelitian ini adalah kuantitatif dan jenis penelitian ini adalah korelasional. Sampel pada penelitian ini berjumlah 79 orang. Teknik pengumpulan data menggunakan angket dan dokumentasi. Analisis data menggunakan statistik deksriptif dan infrensial. Berdasarkan hasil Ŷ 49.218 + 0,484 X Maksud dari persamaan tersebut adalah ketika profesinalisme guru (X) mengalami kenaikan satu satuan, maka akhlak belajar peserta didik akan bertambah 0,484 satuan, dan apabila terjadi penurunan satu satuan profesionalisme guru maka akhlak siswa peserta didik akan berkurang sebesar 0,484. Koefisien bernilai positif berarti hubungan antara profesionalisme guru dan akhlak siswa semakin meningkat. Selanjutnya uji signifikansi regresi diperoleh nilai signifikan sebesar 0.000, maka nilai sig. 0.000 > 0.05 yang berarti Ha diterima dan H0 ditolak. Maka dapat disimpulkan regresi Y dan X terdapat pengaruh signifikan atau kompetensi kepribadian berpengaruh terhadap minat belajar. Nilai korelasi/hubungan (R) yaitu sebesar 0,526. Dan nilai koefisien determinasi (R Square) sebesar 0,277 Maka dapat disimpulkan bahwa profesionalisme guru Pendidikan Agama Islam berpengaruh akhlak siswa kelas XI SMAN 1 Cikarang Timur.

Abstract

This community service aims to provide students withinsight and awareness of sexual violence and how to preventit. The method used is counseling and question and answer.The results show that students' insight increases byparticipating in counseling activities. Those who wereinitially unfamiliar with sexual violence gainedenlightenment about what sexual violence is, its forms,criminal law sanctions, and ways to prevent them. Funlearning and question-and-answer activities by placingoneself as a facilitator have proven to be effective instimulating students' critical thinking skills, active learning,and communication skills. The recommendations are theneed for training that leads to entrepreneurial skills witheconomic value and profits that are useful for students'progress and Islamic boarding schools

Abstract

This study examines the role of the Karawang Cerdas Scholarship in fostering students’ responsibility and learning motivation in Islamic Religious Education (PAI) among 11th-grade students at MAN 2 Karawang. The study was motivated by the importance of developing responsibility and learning motivation as essential objectives of Islamic education while exploring the scholarship’s contribution beyond financial assistance. A qualitative case study approach was employed, with data collected through interviews, observations, and documentation involving scholarship recipients, PAI teachers, and program administrators. Data were analyzed using the Miles and Huberman model through data reduction, data display, and conclusion drawing. The findings indicate that the Karawang Cerdas Scholarship strengthens students’ academic responsibility, discipline, compliance with school regulations, awareness of maintaining the school’s reputation, and accountability in utilizing scholarship funds through the Statement of Absolute Responsibility (SPTJM). The program also enhances learning motivation, reflected in increased enthusiasm, active classroom participation, sustained academic achievement, and clearer educational goals. These improvements contribute to higher attendance, better PAI learning outcomes, fewer disciplinary violations, and the development of positive character traits. The study concludes that the Karawang Cerdas Scholarship functions not only as financial assistance but also as an effective instrument for character development and learning motivation.
