Abstract

This article aims to determine the source of school income Jam'iyah Mahmudiyah Foundation. This research seeks to explain how the source of school income for the Jam'iyah Mahmudiyah Foundation is. The method used in this research is qualitative. Data collection techniques using observation techniques, interviews, and documentation study techniques to obtain valid data about the source of school income. This research was conducted at MTs Jam'iyah Mahmudiyah which is located on Jl. Sheikh M. Yusuf, Tanjung Pura District. The results of the study indicate that the sources of school income at the Jam'iyah Mahmudiyah Foundation are divided into three, namely school income from the government, school income from students' parents, and income from independent school businesses obtained from several activities such as the management of the school canteen so that the sales or rental income where the sale will be collected so that it becomes a source of income. Then the management of school cooperatives and the rental of school-owned buildings and facilities which of course can become income for the foundation itself.

Abstract

This article aims to describe the insights, challenges, and student discipline strategies implemented by the deputy head of the madrasah to make it even better. This research uses qualitative research with a grounded theory approach. Data collection was carried out using interviews, observation, and documentation. Data analysis includes data reduction, data presentation, and conclusion. Data validity is guaranteed through credibility, transferability, dependability, and confirmability. The research results show that: 1) a Description of student discipline mainly focusing on punctuality and dressing, 2) the strategy of the deputy head of the madrasah in instilling the value of discipline in students, including providing examples, habituation, giving advice, and giving sanctions, 3) the challenges faced by the deputy head of the madrasah in instilling the values of discipline student including students' lack of self-awareness and the influence of the external environment. The research implication is that the deputy head of the madrasah is essential in instilling disciplinary values, ultimately positively impacting student achievement and overall school success.

Abstract

This study examines the recurring conflicts in the financial management of higher education in Indonesia, characterized by disparities in budget allocation needs and interests, unjust and misdirected budget distribution, and misappropriation of funds. It aims to investigate leadership strategies for resolving these conflicts to ensure precise and efficient financial management. Employing a qualitative-phenomenological approach through case studies, this research centers on financing issues at state Islamic universities with BLU status. Data were collected via interviews, observations, and documentary analysis, employing Miles and Huberman’s methodology of data reduction, display, and conclusion drawing. Findings indicate the necessity of strategic conflict resolution to mitigate adverse impacts on higher education development. Effective conflict management, as shown, involves a leader’s ability to maintain a constructive outlook, recognize the potential benefits of conflicts, and adopt a decisive approach. By refining goals, enhancing communication, and improving procedures, conflicts can be transformed into productive elements of organizational dynamics.

Abstract

This research was conducted due to the madrasah's awareness of the crucial role of discipline in achieving educational goals. In addition, this success cannot be separated from the strong leadership of the madrasah head and the commitment of educational staff in upholding the rules and norms that have been set. this research uses qualitative research methods descriptive qualitative approach. The subjects of this research are the actors involved in the leadership strategy of the madrasah head in improving the performance of educational staff at MTs Swasta Al Mansuriyah. This research uses a snowball sample technique (snowball). Qualitative data collection techniques used consist of interviews, observations and document studies. For this reason, the data obtained is then analyzed using an interactive model qualitative data analysis consisting of: a) data reduction, b) data presentation, and c) conclusion. Data validity standards, namely 1) Credibility; 2) Transferability; 3) Can be trusted or can be held true (dependability): 4) Confirmability. The preparation of plans and strategies by the madrasah head at MTs Al-Mansuriyah is an important step to improve the performance of teaching staff and lead to quality education. The main focus is on improving the performance of education personnel through professional development programs. The quality of work of education personnel determines the success of educational institutions. The quantitative evaluation also highlighted the importance of time management, productivity and punctuality. The madrasah principal has a crucial role in managing all aspects of activities in the madrasah. Close collaboration between teaching and education personnel strengthens their professionalism and prepares them for the challenges of contemporary education. MTs Al-Mansuriyah demonstrates a strong commitment to building a positive culture of discipline.

Abstract

Digital transformation has changed the thinking of teachers and education personnel about the need to balance technology-based learning media with digital competencies in providing academic services. Thus, this research makes an important contribution to understanding how the application of digital technology can improve the effectiveness and efficiency of educational services. This study used descriptive qualitative research methodology.  The subjects of this study were principals and teachers who were actively involved in the implementation of digital-based academic service management. In this study, data collection techniques were used; 1) Observation; 2) Interview and 3) Documentation Study. In checking the validity of this research using triangulation techniques. Therefore, a qualitative data analysis method is needed. Data reduction, data presentation, and conclusion drawing and analysis are the phases of data analysis that follow data collection. academic service planning process at SMA N 1 Kutacane, one of which is the formation of small teams in each study group. This strategy supports decentralization and task delegation. Organizing academic services at SMA N 1 Kutacane uses a comprehensive approach that focuses on digital literacy. This strategy includes comprehensive planning from infrastructure to policy for the integration of digital transformation, improving school operational efficiency and student learning experience. Teachers who actively learn and implement the knowledge in school activities and learning communities create a better learning environment. At SMA N 1 Kutacane, digitalization of education began in 2015 with the Model application and Quizizz in 2018. Evaluation at SMA N 1 Kutacane showed some significant weaknesses, such as low understanding and use of digital tools by teachers.

Abstract

This research was conducted because every teacher is able to follow the program that is the goal of education in improving the quality of students. Described through the achievements that have been achieved by students.  And this is inseparable from the leadership style of the madrasah head. This study uses a qualitative research design with an ethnographic approach focusing on social research. Researchers go directly to the field of data collection techniques, namely interviews, observation and documentation. Regarding data analysis, the author uses techniques, namely data reduction, data display, and conclusions.Data validity techniques with data triangulation. Validation is done by comparing statements from other parties. The principal of MAS Darul Amin madrasah in improving teacher performance through various well-structured programs with teachers and significant efforts. The madrasah head's contribution is designed to meet all the necessary needs of the teachers. The principal of Darul Amin madrasah makes every effort to ensure that quality improvement programs are optimally implemented, addressing not only those aspects managed by individual teachers but also the entire school system. These efforts include innovative strategies and systemic reforms that integrate all aspects of the education environment. By addressing these challenges through ongoing dialogue and collaborative problem-solving, the madrasah can develop an adaptive and resilient education program. The madrasah head plays a critical role in ensuring the effectiveness of all communication processes within the institution.

Abstract

This research was conducted so that principals are able to make a habit of providing guidance to teachers related to all the problems faced so that teachers are able to maximally and professionally carry out their performance professionally, in the sense of being good but must be firm in carrying out their duties as principals. This research is a qualitative research method with a descriptive study This research includes field research with a phenomenological approach. In this case, the data collection techniques used are interviews, observations and documentation studies. The data analysis techniques used in this research are 1) Data Reduction 2) Presentation of Data (Data Display); 3) Conclusion Drawing. The results showed that the performance of teachers at SMK Negeri 1 Kutalimbaru included: 1). Teacher performance in planning the learning process. 2). Teacher performance in learning implementation. 3). Teacher performance in learning evaluation. 4). Efforts to improve teacher performance made by principals are by conducting training, workshops and also motivational seminars. The leadership styles applied by the principal of SMK Negeri 1 Kutalimbaru are: 1). Democratic leadership type. 2). Visionary leadership type. 3). Transformational leadership type. Abstract

This study aims to determine the relationship between interpersonal communication and emotional intelligence with teacher achievement motivation at MTs Negeri Stabat Langkat Regency. The formulation of the problems posed in this study are: 1) Is there a relationship between interpersonal communication and teacher achievement motivation at MTs Negeri Stabat Kab. Depart? 2) Is there a relationship between emotional intelligence and teacher achievement motivation at MTs Negeri Stabat Kab. Depart? 3) Is there a relationship between interpersonal communication and emotional intelligence with teacher achievement motivation at MTs Negeri Stabat, district. Depart? The type of research used is quantitative using a correlational approach, namely research that seeks to see the relationship between variables. The study population was all teachers of MTs Negeri Kab. Langkat numbered 41 people. Because the population is 41 people, the entire population is used as a research sample and is called total sampling. Data were analyzed using data analysis techniques with multiple linear regression. After the research data were analyzed, the following results were obtained: 1) There is a positive and significant relationship between teacher interpersonal communication (X 1 ) and teacher achievement motivation (Y) at MTs Negeri Stabat with a strong correlation level at the correlation coefficient value of 0.717. Meanwhile, the value of the ridge strength that occurs between the two variables is 0.717 or 71.7%. 2) There is a positive and significant relationship between teachers' emotional intelligence (X 2 ) and achievement motivation (Y) at MTs Negeri Stabat with a strong correlation level at the correlation coefficient value of 0.704. While the value of the strength of the relationship that occurs between the two variables is 0.704 or 70.4%. 3) There is a positive and significant relationship between teacher interpersonal communication (X 1 ) and teacher emotional intelligence (X 2 ) with teacher achievement motivation (Y) at MTs Negeri Stabat at a correlation level of 0.717. Meanwhile, the value of the strength of the relationship that occurs between the two variables is 0.717 or 71.7%. Thus it can be concluded that there is a positive and significant relationship between interpersonal communication and teachers' emotional intelligence with teacher achievement motivation at MTs Negeri Stabat Kab. Leave. This means that the higher the interpersonal communication and emotional intelligence of the teacher, the better the achievement motivation of the teacher.

Abstract

This study aims to determine the effect of the principal's academic supervision and teacher performance satisfaction on improving the pedagogic competence of teachers in PAB schools, Deli Serdang Regency. This type of research is quantitative with a survey method involving teachers. The data was collected by means of observation, questionnaires, and documentation. Data analysis used instrument validity and instrument reliability. The results of hypothesis testing have a positive and high relationship between the principal's academic supervision and teacher job satisfaction together with the teacher's pedagogic competence. The magnitude of the effect is indicated by the coefficient of determination R2 (R square) = 0.431, meaning that the principal's academic supervision and teacher job satisfaction together have an influence on the teacher's pedagogic competence of 43.1% and the remaining 56.9% is determined by other factors. The results of simple regression analysis show the equation = 32.725 + 0.190X1 + 0.567X2.
