Abstract

This study investigates the relationship between sports interest, motor competence, and physical education outcomes in secondary school students. The primary aim was to examine how students' interest in sports influences their motor skills development and subsequent performance in physical education (PE) classes. A quantitative descriptive-correlational approach was employed, involving a sample of 300 students from six secondary schools. Data were collected through a Sports Interest Inventory, Motor Competence Assessment, and a Physical Education Outcomes Questionnaire. The results revealed a significant positive correlation between sports interest and motor competence, with students demonstrating higher levels of sports interest exhibiting better motor skills. Furthermore, students' sports interests and motor competence were found to significantly impact their engagement, skill achievement, and attitudes toward PE. The study highlights the importance of fostering sports interest in improving not only motor competence but also the overall experience and outcomes in PE. These findings emphasize the need for educators to consider students' interests and provide a variety of sports options to enhance engagement and motivation in physical education. The study’s results have important implications for curriculum development and teaching strategies, advocating for the integration of students' sports interests to support their physical and mental growth. Future research should explore the role of social influences, such as peer and family support, and employ longitudinal designs to further investigate the long-term effects of sports interest and motor competence on physical education outcomes.

Abstract

This study aims to examine the influence of school culture and extracurricular activities on the character formation of class X students at SMA Negeri 7 Makassar. The research method used is a quantitative correlational approach to measure the relationship between school culture and extracurricular variables (X) with student character (Y). The study population consisted of 355 class X students, with a sample of 78 students selected using the technique purposive sampling. Data collection was carried out through questionnaires and documentation. Data analysis included instrument validity and reliability tests, as well as analysis prerequisite tests (normality, linearity, multicollinearity, and heteroscedasticity tests) before hypothesis testing was carried out. The results showed that the level of school culture, extracurricular activities, and student character were in the moderate category. Inferential analysis using the t-test and F-test showed a significant influence between school culture and extracurricular activities on student character. The t-test shows the calculated t value for the school culture variable (X1) of 4.259 (p <0.05) and for the extracurricular variable (X2) of 2.191 (p <0.05), exceeding the t-table value of 1.992. The F-test shows the calculated F value of 25.941 (p <0.05), which is greater than the F-table value of 3.119, indicating a significant influence of both variables simultaneously. Based on the results of the analysis, the alternative hypothesis (Ha) is accepted and the null hypothesis (Ho) is rejected. This study concludes that there is a significant influence between school culture and extracurricular activities on the formation of character of class X students at SMA Negeri 7 Makassar.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui efektivitas pelaksanaan Program Bimbingan Remaja Usia Sekolah (BRUS) oleh Kantor Urusan Agama (KUA) Kecamatan Biringkanaya dalam mencegah pernikahan di bawah umur. Latar belakang penelitian ini didasarkan pada masih tingginya angka pernikahan dini di Indonesia, termasuk di wilayah Kota Makassar. Program BRUS merupakan inisiatif Kementerian Agama melalui KUA untuk memberikan edukasi kepada remaja usia sekolah mengenai kesiapan mental, spiritual, emosional, dan sosial sebelum memasuki jenjang pernikahan. Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah kualitatif deskriptif dengan pendekatan fenomenologis. Teknik pengumpulan data dilakukan melalui observasi, wawancara mendalam, dan dokumentasi terhadap pihak-pihak yang terkait, seperti petugas KUA, fasilitator BRUS, dan siswa peserta program. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa pelaksanaan program BRUS di KUA Kecamatan Biringkanaya cukup efektif. Hal ini ditunjukkan melalui pendekatan edukatif dan partisipatif yang diterapkan fasilitator, pemanfaatan modul yang sesuai, serta suasana bimbingan yang interaktif dan kondusif. Program ini berhasil memberikan pemahaman baru kepada para remaja mengenai bahaya dan dampak negatif pernikahan dini serta pentingnya merencanakan masa depan secara matang. Meskipun evaluasi program belum menggunakan instrumen kuantitatif yang terstruktur, hasilnya menunjukkan dampak positif terhadap pola pikir dan keputusan remaja. Penelitian ini menyimpulkan bahwa program BRUS merupakan langkah preventif yang relevan dan bermanfaat dalam upaya membentuk generasi muda yang cerdas dan bertanggung jawab dalam membangun keluarga masa depan

Abstract

The purpose of this study was to analyze the mathematical problem-solving ability and characters of students who were taught using problem-based learning and ordinary learning based on Islamic perspectives. The instrument used in this study was a test of problem-solving ability and a students’ character questionnaire. This research was a quasi-experimental research with pre-test and post-test control group design. The sample of this research was 84 students from Private Islamic School in Medan, North Sumatera, by using a purposive sampling technique. The data in this research was declared homogenous and normal after being tested using the Levene’s Test and Kolmogorov-Smirnov Test. The hypothesis analyzes used was the Two Way-ANOVA test assisted by SPSS 25. The result showed that there was an improvement in mathematical problem-solving ability and students' characters through problem-based learning based on Islamic perspectives. However, there was no interaction between students' gender and problem-solving ability and character improvement based on Islamic perspectives. The gender factor in problem-based learning was not related to students’ cognitive and affective aspects. Each student with any gender had difference characters, especially related to Islamic perspectives. This research-proven that problem-based learning model had an important role in teaching and learning, and it can be used to improve students' mathematical and character problem-solving ability.

Abstract

We already know that, there are many learning models that are used to improve the ability to understand mathematical concepts. In this study, researchers will use two learning models that have been previously studied. But this study is different from previous studies, this study aims to find a better model in improving the ability to understand students' mathematical concepts through test results by applying the flipped classroom and heuristic vee models. The method used in this study is quasi-experimental (quasi-experimental) and testing using the T and N-Gain test. Based on the results of the data analysis conducted, it can be concluded that increasing the ability to understand mathematical concepts of students who use the flipped classroom learning model is far better than vee heuristics.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui peran guru dalam membentuk karakter peserta didik pada mata pelajaran Akidah Akhlak kelas IV di MIN 2 Jeneponto, serta mengidentifikasi faktor pendukung dan penghambatnya. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif deskriptif dengan teknik pengumpulan data melalui observasi, wawancara, dan dokumentasi. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa guru Akidah Akhlak berperan sebagai pendidik, pembimbing, motivator, dan evaluator dalam membentuk karakter siswa. Guru menanamkan nilai-nilai karakter seperti religius, jujur, disiplin, dan tanggung jawab melalui keteladanan, pembiasaan, serta pendekatan personal dan spiritual. Faktor pendukung antara lain dukungan sekolah dan lingkungan religius, sedangkan faktor penghambat meliputi latar belakang keluarga dan kurangnya motivasi siswa. Pembahasan menunjukkan bahwa peran guru sangat signifikan dalam membentuk karakter mulia peserta didik, yang tidak hanya ditanamkan dalam pembelajaran formal, tetapi juga melalui interaksi sehari-hari. Penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa pembentukan karakter peserta didik sangat dipengaruhi oleh peran aktif guru sebagai teladan dan pembina akhlak. Siswa mengalami penguatan nilai-nilai seperti religius, jujur, disiplin, dan tanggung jawab melalui keteladanan dan pendekatan personal guru. Guru pun terdorong untuk terus meningkatkan kompetensinya dalam mendidik dan membimbing siswa secara holistik. Selain itu, orang tua dan lingkungan sekolah mulai lebih sadar akan pentingnya peran mereka dalam mendukung pembentukan karakter melalui keterlibatan dalam kegiatan keagamaan dan sosial

Abstract

Penelitian ini mengkaji pengaruh motivasi dan gaya belajar terhadap hasil belajar Pendidikan Agama Islam kelas XI di SMAN 2 Maros. Menggunakan pendekatan kuantitatif deskriptif, penelitian ini melibatkan 125 siswa kelas XI sebagai populasi dan sampel. Data dikumpulkan melalui angket dan dokumentasi, kemudian dianalisis menggunakan uji validitas, reliabilitas, uji T, dan uji F. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan motivasi dan gaya belajar siswa berada pada kategori sedang (90% dan 87%). Hasil belajar juga berada pada kategori sedang (92%). Analisis lebih lanjut menunjukkan pengaruh signifikan antara motivasi dan gaya belajar terhadap hasil belajar. Uji T menunjukkan pengaruh signifikan (p<0.05) baik motivasi intrinsik (M1) dan ekstrinsik (M2), maupun gaya belajar visual (X1), auditori (X2), dan kinestetik (X3) terhadap hasil belajar (Y). Uji F juga mengkonfirmasi pengaruh signifikan secara simultan dari kedua variabel independen terhadap variabel dependen. Oleh karena itu, hipotesis alternatif diterima dan hipotesis nol ditolak. Kesimpulannya, motivasi dan gaya belajar berpengaruh signifikan terhadap hasil belajar Pendidikan Agama Islam kelas XI di SMAN 2 Maros.

Abstract

This study aims to increase the number of memorized Qur’anic verses among Class IX A students at Tahfidzul Qur’an Assalam Islamic Boarding School in Sidrap Regency by applying the At-Taisir method. The method serves not only to enrich knowledge about its use in enhancing Qur'anic memorization but also as a contribution of thought for teachers in meeting student needs and as a guideline for solving classroom learning challenges related to Qur’anic education. The research subjects were 20 students from Class IX A. The research method used was Classroom Action Research (CAR), consisting of two cycles. The procedure followed four stages: planning, action, observation, and reflection. Data collection techniques included observation, interviews, tests, and documentation. The data analysis used both qualitative and quantitative approaches.The implementation of the At-Taisir method was conducted over two cycles. The results showed that it effectively improved students’ Qur’anic memorization skills, as evidenced by the mean score of 83.82 in Cycle I and 93.33 in Cycle II. The At-Taisir method also enhanced active participation and understanding of the material, particularly in the aspects of verse repetition accuracy, memorization consistency, review (murojaah) ability, correct verse recall, and reading fluency, with all 20 students achieving complete success. The At-Taisir method proved effective in increasing students' Qur’anic memorization due to its systematic, gradual approach tailored to individual capabilities. Through two implementation cycles, this method improved students' active participation in the memorization process. Students found it easier to understand and memorize verses as the material was delivered simply and sequentially. Furthermore, the method emphasized repetition and reinforcement of memorization, enabling students to maintain consistency. The students’ ability to review memorized verses also improved, as seen in their accuracy. Significant improvement in average scores and the number of students who met learning objectives confirms that the At-Taisir method effectively enhances both the quantity and quality of Qur’anic memorization.

Abstract

Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah untuk memberikan pemahaman yang komprehensif tentang senyawa aktif yang digunakan dalam rodentisida antikoagulan. Rodentisida antikoagulan merupakan salah satu metode pengendalian populasi tikus yang paling efektif. Senyawa aktif seperti brodifakum, bromadiolon, klorofasinon, difetialon, dan warfarin berperan penting dalam mekanisme kerja rodentisida tersebut. Kajian ini akan membahas secara rinci mekanisme kerja masing-masing senyawa aktif, spektrum aktivitasnya terhadap berbagai spesies tikus, serta kelebihan dan kekurangan penggunaannya. Selain itu, kajian ini juga akan mengulas isu-isu terkini terkait resistensi tikus terhadap rodentisida antikoagulan dan upaya mitigasi yang dapat dilakukan. Dengan demikian, diharapkan kajian ini dapat menjadi acuan bagi para peneliti, praktisi pengendalian hama, dan pembuat kebijakan dalam memilih dan menggunakan rodentisida antikoagulan yang tepat dan efektif.

Abstract

Abstract Artificial Intelligence (AI) has become an increasingly important field in the current era of digital transformation. Artificial Intelligence (AI), is a technology designed to make computer systems able to imitate human intellectual abilities. Artificial intelligence (AI) allows computers to learn from experience, identify patterns, make decisions, and complete complex tasks quickly and efficiently. Artificial Intelligence (AI) is able to connect every device, so that someone can automate all devices without having to be on site. More than that, currently there are many machines that can interpret certain conditions or events with the help of Artificial Intelligence (AI). The processes that occur in Artificial Intelligence (AI) include learning, reasoning, and self-correction. The implementation of AI in human workmanship is to obtain optimal performance results with fast processing times and maximum results. In today's modern era, artificial intelligence (AI) is very necessary to make activities easier, especially in rural areas. So that the village becomes a modern village and is more advanced with today's technology. Therefore, this Community Service was carried out in Cisadane Village, Kwandang District, North Gorontalo Regency, Gorontalo Province. In obtaining the data used were observation and literature study. This service activity is an effort to apply artificial intelligence (AI) in learning and teaching activities in Cisadane Village, Kwandang District, North Gorontalo Regency, Gorontalo Province. This effort was motivated by the lack of implementation and lack of human resources in artificial intelligence (AI) technology in Cisadane Gorontalo Village, which resulted in artificial intelligence (AI) technology in Cisadane Gorontalo Village not being optimal. As a form of the author's thinking, several efforts and breakthroughs are offered, namely; 1.) The role of Artificial Intelligence (AI) for the people of Cisadane Village in creating a modern and technology-literate Village, by making all activities in the village easier. 2.) Increasing Human Resources in utilizing Artificial Intelligence (AI) Technology, which previously did not know, became aware so that can advance the village.
