Abstract

The problem with teaching material development study is that of geography learning, suggesting that the materials and media used are not optimal for learning. The teaching materials used use only texts and use oral methods, but the media used her PPT, but the PPT media does not achieve the learning objectives. The use of PPT media has drawbacks in the form of lack of study assignments, students are easily bored and do not study seriously. A lack of learning assignments leads to a lack of enthusiasm in these students, resulting in better student learning outcomes. adversely affected. Study aims to (1) describe the process of developing 3D holograms, (2) generate effective 3D holograms, (3) generate practical 3D holograms, and (4) generate effective learning outcomes. is intended for The type of research (R&D) used in the 4D (Four-D) model. Survey tools in the form of questionnaires and questions. used were in the form of validation media sheets, material validation sheets, and student response questionnaires, using pretests and posttests by subjects in Class X SMA Adabiah 2 Padang. The results of this study show a media validation result of 4.9 (98%) on a very valid basis. The material validation result was 4.6 (94% on very valid criteria). The student's assessment score was 4.41 (88%). Validity results showed a t-count of 7.66 with a t-table of 2.060, so the t-count result > t-table. This means that there is a significant difference in learning outcomes before and after using 3D holographic media. The suitability of 3D holograms as a learning medium for geography .

Abstract

This research is motivated by the low learning outcomes of students in Informatics subjects caused using a learning model that is still centered on teachers and the limited use of learning media. The purpose of this study is to find out whether there is an effect of the use of the Problem Based Learning (PBL) model assisted by wordwall media on student learning outcomes in informatics subjects at SMAN 1 Gunung Talang. The research was conducted using a quantitative method using Quasy Experimental Research. The population of this study is 305 students of class X with a sample of 50 students selected using the purposive sampling technique. Data analysis using t-test. The results of data analysis showed that the average post-test score of students in the experimental class was 78.40, while in the control class it was 64.68. Statistical testing shows that the tcount value of 10.78 exceeds the ttable value of 2.01 at a significant level α 0.05. Thus, it can be concluded that the problem-based learning model assisted by wordwalls has a significant impact on the learning outcomes of students in Informatics subjects at SMAN 1 Gunung Talang

Abstract

This research is motivated by the results found in the field that there are students who still have difficulty in understanding the sentences in the narrative text, especially when there are commands to connect or replace simple past and simple present tense verbs. Then during the teaching and learning process, the teacher still uses media that is not varied. So it takes media that can make students interested in participating in learning in class and one of them uses educational games. This study aims to produce educational games in English Class X subjects that are valid and practical using the type of Research and Development (R&D) research, the 4D development model consisting of define, design, development, and disseminate. At the validity test stage, it was carried out with 2 stages of validation, namely material validity, and media validity, while at the product trial stage it was carried out on 34 class X students at MAN 1 Padang City with the aim of knowing the practicality of the product developed. The results of the research conducted explained that the product developed was “Very Valid”, then the results of material validation were declared “Very Feasible”. While the results of practicality from students were declared “Very Practical”, thus this Eng-Joy educational game is practical and feasible to use in the learning process in Grade X English Subjects

Abstract

This research aims to develop Student Worksheets (LKPD) based on Project Based Learning (PjBL) in improving learning outcomes in class V science subjects. The research method used is research and development using the 4D model. Research stages include define, design, development, and disseminate. The instruments used in this research were observation, interviews, documentation, and questionnaires. The validity test was carried out by 3 validators, namely 2 media validators and 1 material validator.  Based on the results of the needs analysis, PjBL-based LKPD teaching materials are needed to improve student learning outcomes. The practicality test was carried out on 24 class V students of SD Negeri 14 Belanti Barat with the aim of finding out the practicality and effectiveness of the product. The results obtained by 2 media experts were 4.18 in the "very feasible" category. The material validation results obtained were 4.9 in the "very suitable" category. The practicality test results obtained a score of 4.35 in the "very practical" category. The results of the effectiveness test using classical completeness showed that of the 24 students who completed there were 20 students with a percentage of 83% exceeding the requirements for classical completeness, namely ≥ 75% of students who completed their learning results. This shows that the use of LKPD can improve their learning outcomes significantly

Abstract

The educational curriculum is continuously changing according to technological developments. The Merdeka Curriculum is here to perfect the implementation of the 2013 curriculum. Implementation of the 2013 curriculum at the elementary school level is carried out through integrated thematic learning. This study aims to analyze the difficulties faced by teachers in implementing integrated thematic learning in the 2013 curriculum in elementary schools. This research uses a mixed-methods approach and uses a literature review technique to examine the difficulties of implementing integrated thematic learning. This mixed-methods study involved 133 elementary school teachers in Payakumbuh City as respondents. The research instrument was a closed statement questionnaire about the difficulties faced by the teacher and an open question questionnaire about the reasons and causes of the difficulties. The results of the research show that the main difficulties experienced by teachers in planning, implementing, and assessing integrated thematic learning are that teachers have difficulty in preparing learning media to facilitate the achievement of basic competencies (39.9%), teachers have difficulty connecting concepts between subjects so that the separation between subjects in the lesson is not very clear (50.4%), and teachers have difficulty assessing student portfolios (47.4%). Teachers say that they find it difficult to determine the right learning model, method, or strategy that covers all the material and students' needs. Teachers also have difficulty implementing integrated thematic learning with several subjects that require a lot of time.

Abstract

The background for conducting the research was due to the lack of teaching materials for Informatics class VII in junior high school. The lack of teaching materials is due to the fact that Informatics is a new subject in the Independent Curriculum. This lack of teaching materials resulted in a lot of student learning outcomes under the KKTP. The research was conducted using Research & Development (R&D) development research with the ADDIE development model. Data collection instruments in this study used validation sheets, student response questionnaires, and pre-test post-test questions. Based on the results of the media validation assessment conducted by experts in the media field I obtained a value of 3.58 which means very valid. From experts in the field of media II, a value of 3.87 is obtained, which means it is very valid. For validation from material experts, a value of 3.80 is obtained, which means it is very valid. Product practicality test results obtained a value of 3.72 which means very practical. The effectiveness test shows tcount>ttable so that there is a significant difference between the pre-test and post-test scores. It can be concluded that this E-LKPD teaching material product is effective and can be used.

Abstract

This research aimed to explore the problem-based learning  model and motivation on students' critical thinking ability in Natural and Social Science earning. The research method was quantitative with a quasi-experimental design, adopting a nonequivalent control group design. The research was carried out at SD Negeri 13 Padang Gelanggang. The research population included all the 5th grade students, with the sample selected using random sampling techniques. The research subjects consisted of 18 students in the experimental class and 18 students in the control class. Data were collected through critical thinking ability tests and learning motivation questionnaires. The analysis results using the independent sample t-test and two-way ANOVA test showed that the problem-based learning model had a significant effect on increasing students' critical thinking abilities. It indicated that the critical thinking abilities of students who studied with the problem-based learning (PBL) model were better than those who studied with the conventional approach.
