Abstract

In part and concurrently, this study intends to ascertain the economic literacy, learning results, and consumption habits of students majoring in economics education at Jambi University. Regression analysis was used to examine this quantitative study. 101 members of Jambi University's 2019 Economics Education major class served as the research subjects. Using surveys and documentation, research data was gathered, and SPSS was used to process it. The analysis's findings indicate that: 1) College students lack excitement for saving, and their excessive spending habits make it challenging for them to be wise consumers. 2) The learning outcomes attained in economic learning may be used to gauge a person's capacity to identify sensible economic activities or non-consumptive conduct. 3) Students' consumption behavior decreases when economic literacy and student learning results go up, and vice versa. According to this research, children should better comprehend economic literacy, learning objectives, and consumptive behaviour. According to the findings of this study, economic literacy and learning outcomes have a negative and substantial impact on students majoring in economics at the University of Jambi.

Abstract

The purpose of this research was to examine how future economics teachers in the province Jambi felt about their practicum experiences and the teaching profession overall. The population of this study is 755, and the approach used is quantitative research with a survey model. The sample comprises students who have successfully completed teaching practice programs, with up to 261 replies. The data was then analyzed using confirmatory factor analysis (CFA), exploratory factor analysis (EFA), and structural equation modelling (SEM). The research's findings include the following: First, students are beginning to have a positive opinion of the teaching profession. Second, by incorporating teaching strategies and models in line with students' present-day technological and time needs, they obtain a greater knowledge of learning media via the experience of teaching practice programs in educational institutions. Third, aspiring teachers are equipped to fulfill the duties of accredited and seasoned educator.

Abstract

This study aimed to analyze the effect of the school environment and teacher communication on the competence of economics teachers. The study used quantitative research design approach by using a survey model. The participants in this study were 142 teachers from public and private vocational high schools in Jambi Province and and using the Slovin formula to represent the entire population of 264 teachers. Furthermore, the data were analyzed using exploratory factor analysis, confirmation of theoretical factor analysis, and structural equation modeling. The findings in this study the school environment, teacher communication, and teacher competence can understand students by utilizing the principles of student cognitive development so that teachers can understand student personality development and reflect on it in the learning process, helping teachers to have the opportunity to apply material learning theories to daily life activities, and broaden the ideas and thoughts that the teacher has to students so that students understand the learning material provided.  The conclusion in this study is that learning in the school environment, teacher communication, and good teacher competence can increase understanding, interest, make student learning more enjoyable, and direct student learning activities to be more active.

Abstract

The purpose of this research and development was to produce a product of Soft Skills Model Assessment Instruments regarding interpersonal relationships of economic education students and to know the characteristics of the soft skills learning model assessment instruments related to interpersonal relationships. The feasibility of the Soft Skills Model assessment instrument is assessed based on the level of validity of the experts regarding the draft soft skills instrument of economics students. The data collection instruments used included expert validation sheets, student response questionnaires, assessment sheets and observation sheets. The research method used in the development of the Soft Skills Model Assessment Instrument regarding the interpersonal relationships of economic education students was research and development referring to the ADDIE model developed by Lee and Owen. Several stages that will be carried out in this research and development are (1) Needs Analysis, (2) Soft skill instrument development design, (3) Soft Skill instrument development, (4) Soft skill instrument evaluation model implementation, (5) and Model Evaluation Soft skill assessment instrument for economic education students. The findings of this research and development from instrument experts on the assessment instrument for the soft skills learning model of economic education students concluded the validation of the experts who stated that it was very valid with an average percentage score of 86.36%. Then it is also shown that the results of small groups and student responses of 86.52% are included in the very good category.

Abstract

This study aims to design short story text economics teaching materials and how the results of the implementation of short story text economics teaching materials for class XI students of SMA Negeri 1 Palimanan. This research method is to use qualitative research with analytic descriptive method. The research location was carried out at SMA Negeri 1 Palimanan, Cirebon Regency. The results showed that based on the implementation of short story text teaching materials for class XI students of SMA Negeri 1 Palimanan, namely the results of the student response questionnaire showed a satisfactory response, meaning that students could well accept short story teaching materials, on average students were quite good at understanding the contents of the material. teaching materials and can help teaching materials in teaching and learning activities in class, especially in short story material. Students hope that teaching materials that are made according to the needs of students like this can continue to be developed to support learning materials. Students feel interested and easily understand the material because it is neatly arranged and the front cover illustrations of the books are adjusted to the colors that make students interested in reading them, the use of color in teaching materials is very important so that students when reading material or assignments do not get bored and want to work on the material. teach it. The language used in textbooks is in accordance with the readability level of high school students and in terms of illustrations and pictures in teaching materials it really helps students' interest in reading. The teaching materials presented make it easier for students to understand the material because it is adapted to the curriculum so that it facilitates learning activities, especially short story text material.

Abstract

Latar belakang: Lorem Ipsum is simply dummy text of the The aim of this research is to know and analyze the impact of employee diversity on job satisfaction in the city relations service.Jambi City Relations Service is a policy in the field of relations in its work territory, technical policy in connection field, administrative implementation includes transportation permits, evaluations and reports related to the field per relationship. Metode penelitian: Dimensions of diversity include religion and tribe while job satisfaction includes the job itself, salary, promotion, supervision, oversight, co-workers and working conditions. Hasil penelitian: The results of SPSS 25 obtained From the Chi-Square Test table asymp sig of 0.776 because of the value of aymp seg 0,776>0,05 it can be concluded that there is no significant relationship between religious diversity and the level of satisfaction it can also be understood that a person's religion diversity has no collateral with the satisfaction of the work obtained. Kesimpulan: Also from the Chi-Square table the test looks asymp sig of 0.316 because the asynp value is 0.318>0,05 then it can be concluded that there is no significant relationship between tribal diversity with the level of satisfaction it can also be understood that a person’s tribal Diversity has no collera with the degree of work achieved.

Abstract

The aim of this research is to analyze the influence of the work environment and job satisfaction through simultaneous and partial motivation on the performance of employees of the National and Political Unity Agency in East Tanjung Jabung Regency. This research uses descriptive and verification analysis methods. Descriptive analysis is used to describe the characteristics of respondents and research variables without testing. This research uses a census method, namely all employees at the National and Political Unity Agency in East Tanjung Jabung Regency. The data analysis technique used is path analysis, with the help of the SPSS version 22.0 software program. The results of this research show that the independent variables, namely work environment and job satisfaction, have a positive and significant effect on motivation and have a positive impact on employee performance. This proves that by improving the work environment and job satisfaction, employee motivation will also increase which will have an impact on increasing employee performance. This research concluded that the work environment and job satisfaction and through motivation partially had a positive effect on employee performance at the National and Political Unity Agency in East Tanjung Jabung Regency.

Abstract

This research is to analyze the influence of competency aspects and leadership style on motivation and its impact on employee performance. This research uses descriptive and verification analysis methods. Descriptive analysis is used to describe the characteristics of respondents and research variables without testing. Verifiability analysis is used to determine the magnitude of the influence of the independent variable on the dependent variable. This research uses all employees at the Jambi Province Transportation Service. Apart from that, the data used in this research is primary data obtained from the results of the questionnaire given and filled in by each employee. The data analysis technique used is path analysis, with the help of the SPSS version 22.0 software program. The results of the research show that competency and leadership style through motivation simultaneously and partially have a positive effect on the performance of Jambi Province Transportation Service employees and there is a direct and indirect influence of competence and leadership style through motivation on the performance of Jambi Province Transportation Service employees. So it can be concluded that the competency, leadership style, motivation and performance of employees at the Jambi Province Transportation Service are still relatively good.

Abstract

Latar belakang: Tujuan Penelitian ini Pusat Kegiatan Belajar Masyarakat Dayung (PKBM) Habibah melalui penyelengaraan program keaksaraan fungsional adalah mewujudkan masyarakat yang berdaya, beraksara, cerdas, dan mandiri melalui pendidikan nonformal. Manfaat langsung yang dirasakan masyarakat tidak hanya peningkatan pelayanan pengelolaan program pendidikan keaksaraan fungsional dalam pemberantasan buta aksara tetapi juga meningkatkan pengetahuan dan keterampilan serta, pendapatan masyarakat warga belajar. Selain itu, kegiatan ini berdapak pada pembangunan sumber daya manusia secara masiv yang diharapkan dapat mengelola kehidupan masyarakat dengan baik di masa yang akan datang, Metode penelitian: Metode yang akan dilakukan dalam penelitian ini adalah lokakarya manajemen pengelolaan program pendidikan keaksaraan fungsional. Kegiatan lokakarya dilaksanakan melalui mekanisme ceramah, diskusi dan praktek. Hasil penelitian: Ceramah dan diskusi umum bertujuan untuk menjelaskan tentang manajemen teknis dan manajemen administrasi pengelolaan program Pendidikan keaksaraan fungsional yang mecakup: Perencanaan Program, Pengorganisasian, Pengarahan, Pengkoordinasian, Pengkomunikasian, Pengontrolan serta pengadministrasian. Materi praktek mencakup penyusunan program tahunan, program semester, program bulanan, program mingguan dan harian yang disesuaikan dengan alokasi waktu. Penyusunan perangkat administratif mencakup: buku induk, Daftar hadir warga belajar, daftar kegiatan warga belajar, buku kemajuan warga belajar. Kesimpulan: Target capaian dari penelitian ini yaitu peningkatan kapasitas kemampuan pengelola dalam penyelengaraan program Pendidikan Keaksaraan Fungsional .

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan mendeskripsikan kemampuan menulis teks berita antara siswa yang diajar menggunakan model pembelajaran kooperatif tipe STAD dengan siswa yang diajar menggunakan model pembelajaran langsung, mendeskripsikan kemampuan menulis teks berita antara siswa berkemampuan awal tinggi yang diajar menggunakan model kooperatif tipe STAD dengan yang diajar menggunakan model pembelajaran langsung, dan mendeskripsikan kemampuan menulis teks berita antara siswa berkemampuan awal rendah yang diajar menggunakan model kooperatif tipe STAD dengan yang diajar menggunakan model pembelajaran langsung; dan (4) mendeskripsikan interaksi antara model pembelajaran kooperatif tipe STAD dan kemampuan awal terhadap kemampuan menulis teks berita siswa kelas VIII SMP Negeri 24 Jambi. Jenis penelitian adalah kuantitatif dengan desain eksperimen faktorial 2x2. Populasi penelitian adalah siswa kelas VIII SMP Negeri 24 yang terdiri atas 6 kelas. Sampel penelitian adalah kelas VIIIA untuk kelas eksperimen dengan jumlah 40 siswa dan kelas VIIIB untuk kelas kontrol dengan jumlah 38 siswa. Penetapan sampel yang ditentukan dengan teknik purposive sampling . Data kemampuan menulis teks berita siswa diperoleh menggunakan tes unjuk kerja dan dianalisis menggunakan uji Anava dua arah. Berdasarkan hasil penelitian disimpulkan bahwa model pembelajaran kooperatif tipe STAD mempengaruhi kemampuan menulis teks berita siswa.
