One of the SMEs that has been very developed from the start was the 35,000 Chik Tosebar family UMKM, which is in Lhokseumawe, to be precise, in Batuphat. Umkm is engaged in the clothing business. The emergence of a clothing business with a price of Rp. 35,000 has recently emerged in recent years. Data collection techniques can be carried out using several techniques, namely interviews, questionnaires, observation and a combination of the three techniques used by researchers. in collecting data using interviews (interview). According to Esterberg in Sugiyono (2019), an interview is a meeting of two people to exchange information and ideas through questions and answers, so that meaning can be constructed in a particular topic. In developing their business, shop owners use social media technology to introduce the products they market to consumers to make it easier and more efficient. The store does not only offer clothing products, in contrast to most 35,000 department stores in general, which only sell clothing. This store innovates products in its store by offering household products to consumers. Such as plates, glasses, drinking bottles and many others. The Chik Tosebar 35,000 family shop was very advanced and very developed at the time of its inception. Their development and progress can be seen in their product innovation and the turnover they get per month. Has a product quality that is very worth it with a maximum price of Rp. 35,000 The price is one that consumers really consider when buying

Abstract

Abstract

This study is based on issues related to work discipline, work motivation, and work stress that may affect employee performance in maintaining the effectiveness of UPW 1 Perumdam Tirta Kencana Kota Samarinda as a regional public service enterprise. Previous studies have also reported inconsistent findings regarding the influence of these factors on employee performance. This research aims to analyze the effect of work discipline, work motivation, and work stress on employee performance at UPW 1 Perumdam Tirta Kencana Kota Samarinda. An explanatory quantitative approach was employed, with data collected through questionnaires, observations, and interviews. The sample consisted of 57 respondents using a saturated sampling technique. The results show that work discipline and work stress partially have a significant effect on employee performance, while work motivation partially does not have a significant effect. Simultaneously, work discipline, work motivation, and work stress significantly influence employee performance. These findings suggest that UPW 1 Perumdam Tirta Kencana Kota Samarinda should focus on managing work discipline and work stress through regular evaluations and consistent training. In addition, work motivation should continue to be addressed to support optimal employee performance

Abstract

The phenomenon of illegal investment in Indonesia is increasingly rampant along with the development of financial technology and low financial literacy of the public. This study aims to examine the behavior of illegal investment from a psychological perspective by highlighting the psychological impact it causes. The research method used is library research through the analysis of various sources such as journals, articles, and official reports. The results of the study show that illegal investment behavior is not only triggered by a lack of financial and legal knowledge, but also by psychological factors such as social influence and trust in public figures (celebrity endorsement effect), cognitive bias (optimism bias and overconfidence bias), and the phenomenon of Fear of Missing Out (FoMO). These factors encourage individuals to make investment decisions emotionally without rational consideration of risk. The impact is not only in the form of financial losses, but also psychological trauma, loss of social trust, and decreased public participation in formal financial institutions. This research emphasizes the importance of increasing financial literacy and psychological awareness of the community as a preventive effort against illegal investment practices in Indonesia.

Abstract

Background: Microplastics have been detected across multiple environmental compartments and can enter the human body through food and drinking water, representing an emerging concern in environmental toxicology related to chronic human exposure. Methods: A cross-sectional study was conducted among residents of the Musi River watershed, Indonesia, involving samples of refilled drinking water, tea products, and human feces. Microplastics were identified using digital microscopy and classified according to GESAMP guidelines. Associations between environmental exposure factors and fecal microplastic abundance were analyzed using correlation analysis and multiple linear regression. Results: Microplastics were detected in all analyzed matrices. Fecal microplastic abundance was significantly associated with duration of residence (r = 0.241, p = 0.041), consumption of refilled drinking water (r = 0.284, p = 0.037), and teabag consumption (r = 0.312, p = 0.021). Teabag consumption showed the strongest association; however, documented consumption patterns indicated that teabags were routinely prepared using refilled drinking water. In multivariate analysis, all three factors were independent predictors, explaining 31.2% of the variance (R² = 0.312; p < 0.05). Conclusion: Microplastics present in refilled drinking water and teabags represent an additional route of human exposure that should be considered in strategies to improve drinking water quality and reduce environmental health risks.
