Abstract

The quality of early childhood education is strongly influenced by the leadership role of teachers in the classroom. Teachers not only act as educators but also as leaders who shape a positive, safe, and engaging learning environment. This study uses a library research approach to examine literature related to classroom leadership, character development in early childhood, and strategies to build a supportive learning atmosphere. Findings highlight the importance of small actions by teachers—such as fostering positive discipline, showing appreciation, providing emotional safety, and involving children in classroom decisions—which significantly contribute to children’s academic and emotional growth. Role-playing methods are also effective in instilling leadership values from an early age. Thus, leadership starts in the classroom, becoming a crucial step in preparing strong and character-driven future generations

Abstract

The problem in this study is the low activity of children, children's creativity in fine motor skills activities, this is due to the lack of interesting activities that stimulate children. Efforts to solve this problem are using the Project Based Learning Model with the Demonstration Method. The purpose of the study is to describe teacher activities, children's activities, creativity and analyze fine motor development. The approach used is a qualitative approach with the type of Classroom Action Research (CAR). The setting of this study was group A1 of Putra II Banjarmasin Kindergarten with 20 children. Data collection used observation techniques, assessment of teacher activities, children's activities, and results of fine motor development. The findings showed that teacher activity reached very good criteria at meeting 4. Children's activity reached 100% with very active criteria at meeting 4. Children's creativity reached 100% with very creative criteria at meeting 4. And the results of fine motor development reached 100% with BSB interpretation at meeting 4. It is recommended for head teachers, principals and further researchers to be one alternative when choosing an overall learning model.

Abstract

The problem in this study is the low activity, motivation, and results of children's language development in mentioning letter symbols. The cause of this problem is the lack of active involvement of children in the learning process because learning is one-way, learning is less interesting, learning is abstract, and learning is less varied. The solutions provided are through the problem based learning model, make a match, and guess the word. The purpose of this study is to describe teacher activities, and analyze the increase in children's activities, learning motivation, and the results of the development of language aspects in mentioning letter symbols.This research approach uses qualitative with the type of PTK. The research was conducted in Group B of TK Negeri Tamban, involving 12 children as participants. The results of the study showed that Teacher Activities increased until meeting 4 reached a score of 23. Children's Activity increased until meeting 4 reached a percentage of 100%. Children's Learning Motivation increased until meeting 4 to 100%. The results of Children's Language Development in Mentioning Letter Symbols increased at every meeting until meeting 4 reaching 100%. This study can serve as input for teacher training, as an alternative learning model, and as a reference for future research.

Abstract

This study aims to describe matters related to motivation, innovative teacher behavior, community support in schools, as well as obstacles and strategies to support teachers in innovating that are running at Abirau Elementary School, Banjar Regency. The techniques used in this study are using indirect interview techniques, observation, and documentation studies. The subjects of this study were the Principal of Abirau Elementary School. The data obtained was analyzed using descriptive qualitative methods. The results of the study indicate that motivation, innovative teacher behavior, and community support in Kombel Basamaan can be started by joining Kombel Basamaan which is the willingness of all parties in the school to improve skills and knowledge to have the opportunity to learn from fellow teachers who may have different experiences or approaches in teaching. This Kombel activity aims to create a more inclusive and effective learning environment innovation which is expected to be able to produce learning innovations and build strong collaboration between teachers. One of the strengthening strategies in Kombel in dealing with educational problems is the leadership role of the principal which is needed as well as being an active facilitator in the innovation process, providing encouragement and recognition for teacher efforts, so that teachers do not feel burdened and continue to feel accompanied.

Abstract

Penelitian ini dilatarbelakangi oleh rendahnya aktivitas, kemampuan berpikir kritis, kemampuan kolaboratif, dan hasil belajar siswa dalam pembelajaran matematika. Permasalahan tersebut disebabkan oleh pembelajaran yang bersifat satu arah, kurang bermakna, bersifat individual, serta kurangnya keterlibatan aktif siswa dalam proses pembelajaran. Dampaknya, siswa mengalami kesulitan dalam memahami materi, kurang mampu mengembangkan pengetahuan, memiliki rasa ingin tahu yang rendah, kesulitan bekerja sama dalam memecahkan masalah, serta kurangnya motivasi dalam mengikuti pembelajaran. Sebagai solusi, diterapkan model pembelajaran PRIME yang merupakan gabungan dari Problem Based Learning, Group Investigation, dan Realistic Mathematics Education. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mendeskripsikan aktivitas guru serta menganalisis aktivitas siswa, kemampuan berpikir kritis, kolaboratif, dan hasil belajar siswa. Metode yang digunakan adalah Penelitian Tindakan Kelas (PTK) dengan pendekatan kuantitatif dan kualitatif yang dilaksanakan selama tiga pertemuan. Subjek penelitian adalah 20 siswa kelas V semester genap SDN Telawang 4 tahun ajaran 2024/2025. Teknik pengumpulan data meliputi observasi untuk aktivitas guru dan siswa, berpikir kritis, serta kolaboratif, dan tes tertulis individu untuk hasil belajar. Data dianalisis secara deskriptif menggunakan tabel, grafik, dan persentase. Hasil menunjukkan peningkatan signifikan pada semua indikator, yaitu aktivitas guru (96%), aktivitas siswa (85%), kemampuan berpikir kritis (86%), kemampuan kolaboratif (80%), dan ketuntasan hasil belajar siswa (95%). Kesimpulannya, penerapan model pembelajaran PRIME dapat meningkatkan aktivitas belajar, kemampuan berpikir kritis, kolaboratif, dan hasil belajar siswa, serta direkomendasikan sebagai alternatif pembelajaran yang inovatif dan efektif di sekolah dasar.

Abstract

This study aims to describe and analyze partnership management in early childhood education institutions (PAUD) through a multi-site study conducted at TK Negeri Pembina Banjarmasin Tengah and TK Negeri Pembina Banjarmasin Timur. The research explores partnership management in PAUD institutions through three main focuses: (1) the leadership of the PAUD principal in managing partnership programs, (2) the principal’s communication in establishing partnerships, and (3) the principal’s strategies in building a culture of collaboration. This study employs a qualitative approach using a multi-site case study method. Data were collected through in-depth interviews, observations, and documentation, and were analyzed using the Miles and Huberman model. The results indicate that the principals at both TK Negeri Pembina Banjarmasin Tengah and TK Negeri Pembina Banjarmasin Timur demonstrated collaborative, participative, and communicative leadership in designing and implementing partnership programs. The institutions’ vision and mission served as the foundation for all partnership activities and were developed democratically by involving all stakeholders. In terms of communication, the principals established open, adaptive, and sustainable two-way communication through various formal and informal channels. This approach strengthened trust and active participation from parents and external partners, enhancing synergy in supporting school programs. Meanwhile, the strategy for building a collaborative culture was implemented by fostering an inclusive atmosphere, establishing mutual trust in partnerships, and expanding networks of cooperation with external institutions. These strategies effectively nurtured a sense of ownership, increased stakeholder involvement, and created a sustainable collaborative culture to support the holistic quality of early childhood education services. The study concludes that the success of partnership management in PAUD institutions highly depends on effective school leadership, harmonious communication, and a structured collaborative culture. This research contributes to the development of partnership management practices as an effort to improve the quality of early childhood education. Abstract

The problem in this study is the low level of student activity and cooperation in social studies, caused by monotonous and lack of variety in learning, low student engagement, and the limited use of learning models and media, which quickly lead to student boredom. One way to address this issue is by implementing the PROGRAMER model in learning. The purpose of this study was to analyze improvements in student activity, cooperation skills, and learning outcomes. This study used Classroom Action Research (CAR) conducted over four meetings. The subjects were 14 fifth-grade students at SDN Waringin Kencana. This study employed both qualitative and quantitative approaches. Data analysis used descriptive qualitative techniques, described in tables, graphs, and percentage interpretations. The results showed an increase in teacher activity from meetings 1 to 4, with a rating of "very good." Student activity from meetings 1 to 4 increased from 43% (less active) to 93% (very active). Student cooperation skills from meeting 4 increased from 50% to 100%. This resulted in an increase in student learning outcomes in the fourth meeting, from 50% to 93%. Based on the results of this study, it can be concluded that the use of the PROGRAMER model can improve student activity, collaboration skills, and learning outcomes. This research is recommended for principals, teachers, and future researchers as an alternative learning model to improve the quality of education.

Abstract

Penilaian terhadap perkembangan anak usia dini dalam pendidikan Islam tidak hanya bertumpu pada aspek kognitif semata, melainkan juga mencakup dimensi adab dan akhlak sebagai fondasi karakter Islami. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengkaji pendekatan asesmen holistik yang mencerminkan integrasi antara nilai-nilai spiritual, moral, dan perkembangan intelektual anak usia dini. Metode yang digunakan adalah kualitatif deskriptif dengan pendekatan studi kasus di beberapa lembaga Pendidikan Anak Usia Dini (PAUD) berbasis Islam terpadu Banjarmasin utara. Data dikumpulkan melalui observasi partisipatif, wawancara mendalam dengan guru dan kepala sekolah, serta dokumentasi asesmen pembelajaran anak. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa asesmen holistik di PAUD Islam umumnya berorientasi pada tiga ranah utama: (1) Adab, yang dinilai melalui sikap sopan santun, kedisiplinan, dan tata krama anak terhadap guru dan teman; (2) Akhlak, yang terlihat dari perilaku jujur, empati, tanggung jawab, serta penerapan nilai-nilai keislaman sehari-hari; dan (3) Kognitif, yang mencakup kemampuan berpikir, memahami konsep dasar agama, bahasa, dan logika dasar. Temuan ini menegaskan bahwa asesmen yang baik dalam konteks Islam adalah asesmen yang menyentuh aspek ruhani dan akal secara seimbang. Kesimpulan dari penelitian ini menekankan pentingnya pengembangan instrumen asesmen yang terintegrasi dan kontekstual, agar nilai-nilai Islam tidak hanya menjadi materi ajar, tetapi menjadi indikator perkembangan anak. Implikasi dari studi ini diharapkan dapat memperkuat praktik asesmen berbasis karakter dan spiritualitas dalam sistem pendidikan Islam untuk anak usia dini.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mendeskripsikan dan menganalisis pengaruh langsung dan tidak langsung antar variabel: kepemimpinan transformasional, kreativitas, dan OCB terhadap produktivitas kerja guru. Penelitian kuantitatif ini menggunakan pendekatan kuantitatif dengan desain deskriptif korelasional dan analisis jalur (path analysis) untuk menganalisis pengaruh kepemimpinan transformasional, Organizational Citizenship Behavior (OCB), dan kreativitas terhadap produktivitas kerja guru di 7 SMPN Banjarmasin Timur (N=149). Hasilnya menunjukkan bahwa keempat variabel (kepemimpinan transformasional, kreativitas, OCB, dan produktivitas kerja guru) berada dalam kategori tinggi. Terdapat pengaruh langsung dari kepemimpinan transformasional (0.525), OCB (0.508), dan kreativitas (0.578) terhadap produktivitas kerja guru. Selain itu, kepemimpinan transformasional juga memengaruhi OCB (0.626) dan kreativitas (0.640) secara langsung. Ditemukan pula pengaruh tidak langsung kepemimpinan transformasional terhadap produktivitas kerja guru melalui OCB (0.371) dan kreativitas (0.497). Kesimpulannya, kepemimpinan transformasional, OCB, dan kreativitas memiliki pengaruh signifikan, baik langsung maupun tidak langsung, terhadap produktivitas kerja guru.

Abstract

Penelitian ini dilatarbelakangi rendahnya kemampuan kerjasama anak, yang diduga muncul akibat pembelajaran yang cenderung abstrak, kurang menarik, tidak kontekstual, dan berlangsung secara satu arah. Tujuan utama dari penelitian ini adalah untuk menggambarkan peningkatan kemampuan kerjasama anak melalui pendekatan tindakan kelas. Penelitian dilaksanakan di kelompok B TK Idhata II Banjarmasin dengan melibatkan 12 anak, terdiri dari 5 laki-laki dan 7 perempuan, serta dilakukan selama empat kali pertemuan. Pendekatan yang digunakan adalah kualitatif, dengan jenis penelitian tindakan kelas (PTK). Data yang dikumpulkan mencakup informasi kualitatif dan kuantitatif, melalui teknik observasi dan tes. Proses analisa dilakukan secara deskriptif kualitatif yang disajikan dalam bentuk tabel, cross table, serta grafik, berlandaskan indikator keberhasilan yang telah ditentukan. Hasilnya memperlihatjan adanya peningkatan kemampuan kerjasama secara klasikal, yakni dari 8% pada pertemuan pertama, menjadi 17% di pertemuan kedua, meningkat lagi menjadi 41% pada pertemuan ketiga, dan mencapai 83% pada pertemuan keempat. Kesimpulan dari penelitian ini menegaskan bahwa penerapan model pembelajaran berbasis proyek (Project Based Learning) yang dikombinasikan dengan metode permainan peran (Role Playing Game) mampu meningkatkan partisipasi belajar, rasa tanggung jawab, serta kemampuan bekerjasama anak. Temuan ini diharapkan bisa menjadi referensi dalam memilih strategi pembelajaran yang efektif, bahan evaluasi bagi pendidik, serta inspirasi bagi penelitian berikutnya di bidang yang sama.
