Abstract

Digital technology is becoming increasingly important in the field of education, especially in the context of 21st-century learning challenges. However, in the Madura region, the implementation of technology in geography teaching still faces many obstacles. The digital literacy of teachers is still relatively weak. This study aims to enhance the digital knowledge of geography teachers in the MGMP (Subject Teacher Group) in Madura through learning materials based on micro web learning. The community service program was conducted through training and mentoring to enable teachers to access, manage, and integrate digital resources into their teaching. The results show a significant improvement in teachers' digital skills, which positively impacted the quality of teaching and student motivation. However, challenges such as limited technological infrastructure and the need for continuous training remain. This study concludes that improving the digital literacy of geography teachers can enhance the quality of education in Madura with the right strategies. Recommendations include collaboration between the government, schools, and educational communities to improve infrastructure and provide continuous training.

Abstract

Guru kurang memahami pemilihan media pembelajaran yang efektif dan cocok di era digital dalam pembelajaran menyebabkan minat belajar siswa menjadi rendah sehingga berdampak pada rendahnya hasil belajar. Penggunaan media yang sesuai dapat meningkatkan fokus dan perhatian siswa terhadap materi geosfer yang disajikan, sehingga materi geosfer dapat lebih mudah dipahami. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mensintesis kebutuhan media pembelajaran materi geosfer pada siswa sebagai dasar pengembangan media video ArcGIS StoryMaps. Jenis penelitian yang digunakan adalah penelitian deskriptif kuantitatif. Subjek penelitian ini sebanyak 352 siswa dan 1 guru geografi. Teknik pengumpulan data dengan kuesioner melalui google form dan wawancara kepada guru dan siswa. Data kuantitatif berupa jawaban hasil kuesioner dianalisis dengan menggunakan statistik deskriptif, sedangkan data hasil wawancara dan observasi dianalisis dan dideskripsikan secara kualitatif. Berdasarkan hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa  siswa lebih cenderung menyukai media pembelajaran audiovisual berupa video pembelajaran berbantuan ArcGIS StoryMaps pada materi geosfer, sehingga dibutuhkan pengembangan media pembelajaran audiovisual berupa video pembelajaran untuk meningkatkan hasil belajar siswa. Implikasi penelitian ini, diharapkan hasil penelitian dapat dapat dijadikan sebagai refrensi pendidik lainnya untuk dapat menciptkan proses pembelajaran yang aktif dan menyenangkan sehingga berpengarh terhadap minat dan hasil belajar siswa.

Abstract

Inovasi dalam teknologi informasi dan komunikasi (TIK) membawa transformasi yang signifikan di bidang pendidikan. Pengembangan media pembelajaran menjadi suatu keharusan dalam menghadapi era digital yang terus berkembang. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis kebutuhan pengembangan terhadap media pembelajaran videografis untuk siswa SMA. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode deskriptif kuantitatif. Subjek yang terlibat dalam penelitian ini yaitu 120 siswa dan 2 guru mata pelajaran geografi. Metode pengumpulan data yang digunakan yaitu angket non-tes, survei kuesioner, dan pedoman observasi. Data yang telah dikumpulkan kemudian dianalisis secara deskriptif untuk memberikan gambaran yang jelas mengenai kebutuhan dan pandangan siswa serta guru. Berdasarkan hasil penelitian dinyatakan bahwa pengembangan media ini dianggap strategis untuk meningkatkan kualitas pembelajaran di era digital. Meskipun demikian, diperlukan peralatan dan pelatihan yang lebih memadai bagi guru. Hasil kuesioner menunjukkan respon positif siswa terhadap pembelajaran geografi, dengan 97% siswa senang dengan metode pembelajaran dan 81% menganggap geografi sebagai mata pelajaran favorit. Dukungan terhadap media pembelajaran berbasis videografis juga tinggi (85%). Interaksi guru-siswa dinilai mempengaruhi minat dan pemahaman siswa. Media pembelajaran berbasis videografis dapat meningkatkan belajar siswa.

Abstract

Collaboration between Ijen Geopark and school has been identified as a significant driver in advancing sustainable development in Bondowoso. Research conducted aimed to explore how the integration of The Ijen Geopark education program within school contributes to sustainable development in the region. Employing a qualitative approach with a descriptive method, data collection encompassed observation, interview, and documentation. Key informants included the Ijen Geopark Manger and representative from schools. Findings from the study revealed several outcomes: 1). The implementation of the Ijen Geopark education program, which is comprised some initiatives such as:a).Geopark goes to School, b). Integration of Ijen Geopark subject material, c). Geopark Corner, d). School goes to Geopark, and e) establishment of Ijen Geopark Ambassadors.2). Challenges were identified, particularly regarding partnerships at the high school/vocational school level.3). The impact of the program was delineated, highlighting increased understanding among students regarding the interplay between humans and the environment, heightened awareness regarding the importance of nature conservation career prospects in natural sciences, environmental studies, and nature conservation.  It is hoped that this educational program will be sustainable and have an impact on schools and impactful.

Abstract

The development of technology in education becomes more advanced by utilizing learning models assisted by digital media. These innovations allow for more flexible and interactive teaching methods, increasing student engagement and understanding. Technology based learning enables broader access to information and allows students to learn independently. By using digital media, students understand difficult concepts and interact directly with the material. This study aims to develop Problem-Based Blended Learning (PBBL) assisted by articulate storylines. The method used was designed using the ADDIE (Analyze, Design, Development, Implementation, Evaluation) research model. The analysis in this study employed qualitative descriptive and quantitative descriptive analysis. The research instrument was in the form of a validation questionnaire for learning experts and media validation. The results of the study showed that learning experts obtained a score of 88% (very worth it) and media experts obtained a score of 80% (very worth it). The results of the small group questionnaire, the product receives score of 95 out of the ideal score of 100. This indicates that the product is highly feasible and can be implemented without revision. So, it can be concluded that PBBL assisted by articulate storylines is an effective learning approach. PBBL based on Articulate Storyline has great potential to be applied in the curriculum as a learning medium that adapts to various subjects. This technology integration not only answers the challenges of problem-based learning but also enriches students' experiences, increases their engagement, and supports more student-centered learning. Additionally, it encourages collaborative learning and critical thinking.

Abstract

Future challenges are of particular concern in preparing the nation's next generation. The dream of realizing a developed Indonesia will be realized with an education system that optimizes character cultivation. The independent curriculum is the answer to the big challenges that will be faced. However, realizing Pancasila values ​​in an independent curriculum is not an easy . There needs to be a change in mindset and good perception of the independent curriculum, especially the Project for Strengthening the Pancasila Student Profile (P5). P5 is expected to be able to strengthen students' character education so that it becomes a provision for the future. The implementation of P5 is still not optimal, so this research needs to be carried out. Teacher and student perceptions of P5 are an important part that needs to be studied to support the success of P5. This research is a quantitative descriptive type research. The method used is a survey with a questionnaire research instrument. Respondents totaled 66 students and 9 teachers at SMA Ibrahimy Wongsorejo. The research results show that teachers' perceptions of the indicator of understanding P5 are moderate, teachers' perceptions of preparing a supporting ecosystem in schools are moderate and perceptions of P5 design activities tend to be low to moderate. Students' perceptions on the understanding aspect are classified as moderate, on the attitude aspect they are moderate and on the behavior aspect they are still relatively low. It is hoped that the results of the research will attract attention so that the implementation of P5 is not simply carried out without paying attention to the level of success and meaningfulness, especially as an effort to improve the character of Pancasila.

Abstract

Penelitian ini dilakukan karena kemampuan berpikir kritis merupakan salah satu keterampilan yang utama dalam kehidupan khususnya dunia pendidikan. Maka dari itu kemampuan berpikir kritis siswa menjadi sangat penting dalam dunia pendidikan. Serta penelitian ini meberikan hal khusus pada faktor literasi lingkungan siswa yang dianggap sebagai hal utama dalam keberhasil pembelajaran. Penelitian dilakauan bertujuan untuk menganalisis pengaruh dari model Geographical Inquiry Learning terhadap kemampuan berpikir kritis ditinjau dari iterasi lingkungan siswa. Penelitian ini melibatkan subjek sebanyak 70 orang. Penelitian ini menggunakan desaian posttest-only dengan metode quasi eksperimen yang menyertakan kelompok eksperimen dan kelompok kontrol. Kelas eksperimen menggunakan model pembelajaran Geographical inquiry dan kelas kontrol menerapkan model pembelajaran konvensional. Pengumpulan data penelitian berupa hasil nilai tes kemampuan beprikir kritis dan kuesioner skala likert literasi lingkungan. Metode analisis data menggunakan uji-t dan uji annova. Berdasarkan hasil penelitian kemampuan beprikir kritis siswa menunjukan bahwa siswa yang menggunakan model Geographical Inquiry berpengaruh signifikan dibandingkan pembelajaran konvensioanl. Jika dilihat dari tingkatan literasi lingkungan, literasi lingkungan dengan kategiori tinggi berpnegaruh terhadap kemampuan beprikir kritis siswa. Oleh karena itu, model Geographical inquiry efektif dalam meningkatkan kemampuan berpikir kritis siswa secara signifikan jika dilihat dari tingkatan literasi lingkungan siswa. Sehingga pendekatan pembelajaran Geographical Inquiry menjadi salah satu penerapan pembelajaran yang efektif untuk digunakan oleh guru.

Abstract

The dynamic development of the times in general provides changes to aspects of education that are increasingly integrated with technology. The utilization of technology in the education sector creates various conveniences and the availability of learning media to increase the effectiveness of learning. Based on the results of the needs analysis conducted at MA Bilingual Batu City, it was found that students need renewal of learning media that can illustrate material volcanism that is difficult to reach. This research aims to develop media that can help students' understanding and see its feasibility and practicality. This research uses the ADDIE model (Analysis, Design, Development, Implementation, Evaluation). By using visual motion graphic media, students can clearly see the phenomenon of volcanism that occurs. The results of this study showed a media validation test of 98.3% and a material validation test of 77.5%. In the teacher test, the score was 100% and the student test was 90.6%. Based on the results of the analysis, it can be said that this media is suitable for implementation in geography learning.

Abstract

Geography learning in class has problems, one of which is the low level of students' high-level thinking abilities as happened in class XI-8. Based on observations, the problem lies in students' passivity in the learning process, therefore a model is needed that is able to attract students' interest. The pre-cycle test results showed an average score of 67 which is relatively low. It is necessary to apply appropriate and effective learning models to be used in classroom learning, namely the discovery learning learning model. The aim of this research is to find out whether applying the discovery learning model in disaster mitigation learning can improve students' high-level thinking abilities. This type of research is Classroom Action Research (CAR) and is carried out in two cycles. Each cycle consists of four stages, namely planning, acting, observing, reflecting. The subjects of this research were 35 students in class XI-8 of SMAN 1 Kepanjen. Data collection uses 4 test questions that refer to indicators of high-level thinking abilities. Data analysis uses quantitative descriptive. The results show that from pre-cycle to cycle one there was an increase in high-level thinking skills by 16% with a mean of 78 and in cycle two there was an increase of 17% with a mean of 91. It can be concluded that the application of the discovery learning model syntax can improve high-level thinking skills student.

Abstract

Learning in the digital era requires innovative interactive media to improve educational effectiveness, including learning evaluation. The main challenge is low student engagement due to conventional evaluation methods. Publuu, an interactive digital platform, offers a solution by providing interesting teaching materials. This study developed and tested Publuu-based interactive materials for learning evaluation courses in the Teacher Professional Education (PPG) program. Using the ADDIE-based Research and Development (R&D) method, data were collected through initial trials and final trials on two groups: the experimental group (30 students using Publuu) and the control group (30 students using conventional methods). Normality and homogeneity tests ensured statistical validity, followed by paired sample t-tests. The results showed that Publuu materials significantly improved student learning outcomes, with a significance value (Sig.) <0.05. In addition, these materials increased student motivation and engagement. Thus, Publuu-based interactive learning materials are suitable for PPG programs, improving the quality of evaluation learning. This study provides practical benefits of interactive tools in improving learning effectiveness and student active participation. Future developments may include more interactive features to increase the appeal and effectiveness of the material.
