Abstract

Pengamatan dilakukan setelah 24 jam.

Abstract

This study analyzes the role and implementation of Islamic fintech in building digital trust and optimizing Hajj administration processes, using the Muamalat Digital Islamic Network (DIN) application as a case study. Employing a qualitative case study approach at Bank Muamalat's Genteng Sub-Branch Office, data was collected through methodological triangulation, including direct observation, in-depth interviews with the manager, funding staff, customer service representatives, and prospective pilgrims, as well as document analysis. Data were analyzed interactively through stages of data reduction, data display, and conclusion drawing. The Muamalat DIN application successfully builds digital trust through the convergence of Sharia principles (the wadīah yad dhamānah contract and oversight by the Sharia Supervisory Board) with technological transparency. The application functions as a driver of financial and spiritual inclusion by eliminating geographical barriers and facilitating the fulfillment of maqashid sharia, particularly hifzh ad-din (preservation of faith). High adoption rates are driven by perceptions of usefulness and ease of use, reinforced by community-based religious outreach strategies. A transformation in service culture is demonstrated through the synergy between the digital interface and the ethical values (akhlaq) embedded in customer service. The primary challenges identified are reliance on uneven internet infrastructure and system overload during peak periods. The implementation of Islamic fintech in Hajj services through Muamalat DIN represents a successful paradigmatic transformation that harmonizes Sharia compliance, inclusive technological innovation, and ethical service. Its success in building digital trust and facilitating worship establishes it as a significant model for developing value-based Islamic financial services in the digital era. Keywords : Sharia Fintech, Hajj Administration, Digital Trust.

Abstract

Soil nutrients, such as nitrogen, phosphorus, and potassium, are critical for plant growth and agricultural productivity. Conventional laboratory methods for measuring these nutrients are accurate but often time-consuming, costly, and environmentally taxing. This study explores the potential of portable visible-near infrared (Vis-NIR) spectrometer combined with machine learning algorithms as a rapid, cost-effective, and eco-friendly alternative for soil nutrient analysis. Soil samples of clay, clay loam, and sandy clay were collected and analyzed using artificial neural network (ANN) approach to predict soil nutrients. A total of 81 reflectance spectra data from each soil type were acquired using an AS7265x sensor and processed to develop a predictive model for nutrient content. ANN models demonstrated high accuracy, with R² values exceeding 0.8 in each type of soil texture. This study emphasizes the potential of portable Vis-NIR spectrometer and machine learning integration to revolutionize soil nutrient analysis, offering significant improvements in agricultural efficiency and sustainability.

Abstract

Economic inequality and high poverty rates remain crucial issues in many Muslim-majority countries. This is due to the unequal distribution of wealth, the low quality of public services, and the suboptimal utilization of Islamic economic instruments such as zakat and waqf. Sharia microfinance has emerged as a fair and inclusive financing solution. However, the current model tends to imitate conventional systems and does not fully reflect the values of maqasid al-shariah, particularly in the aspect of hifdz al-mal (protection of wealth). This research aims to rebuild the Sharia microfinance model based on maqashid al-shariah fi hifdz al-mal as an ethical and normative basis for creating an Islamic financial system that is fair, sustainable, and relevant to contemporary socio-economic challenges. Using an Islamic legal research case study approach, this research examines the principles of Islamic financial management, critiques the weaknesses of existing microfinance models, both conventional and Sharia-compliant, and proposes more comprehensive design alternatives. Primary data for this study were obtained through field surveys, in-depth interviews, and direct observation at several Sharia Microfinance Institutions and beneficiary communities. The research results indicate that the application of maqashid al-shariah in the context of asset protection can strengthen the contribution of Islamic financial institutions to empowering micro, small and medium enterprises, alleviating poverty, and achieving the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs). The proposed model emphasizes the principles of justice, spiritual and material well-being, protection of fundamental rights, and institutional synergy based on Islamic values.

Abstract

Reading skills are fundamental to learning Arabic, as they play an essential role in understanding texts, developing vocabulary, and building other language competencies. However, the process of teaching reading in many schools still relies on traditional, teacher-centered methods, resulting in low student motivation and unsatisfactory learning outcomes. Based on these issues, this study aims to analyze the effectiveness of the “Make a Match” method in improving the reading skills learning outcomes of ninth-grade students at the Serang 2 Islamic Public Middle School. The uniqueness of this study lies in its focus on measuring the quantitative effect of the “Make a Match” method on reading skills learning outcomes, specifically, in the context of State Islamic Middle School 2 Serang, which has been limited in research. This study used a quantitative, pre-experimental design with a one-group, pre- and post-test. The study group consisted of ninth-grade students, while the study sample consisted of 30 ninth-grade (B) students. Data were collected using a cumulative test to measure reading learning outcomes, and the data were analyzed using a paired-samples t-test. The results of the study showed a statistically significant difference between the pre- and post-test scores, with a significance value of 0.000 (< 0.05). This study concluded that the Make a Match method. Keywords: Arabic, Cooperative Learning, Make a Match, Reading Skills.

Abstract

Abstract This study aims to analyze the formation of students’ moral character through dzikir practices and the internalization of religious values at MI Al-Khairiyah Dusun Melik, Parijatah Kulon Village, Srono District, Banyuwangi Regency. The research is motivated by behavioral issues among students, particularly declining discipline, politeness, and self-control, highlighting the need for spiritually grounded pedagogical approaches. Using a descriptive qualitative method with data collected through in-depth interviews, participant observations, and document analysis, the study investigates the roles of teachers, school culture, and religious activities in shaping students’ character. The findings reveal that daily dzikir enhances emotional calmness, spiritual awareness, and adherence to school norms. Additionally, the internalization of religious values—instilled through habituation, modeling, and integration in Islamic education lessons—effectively fosters responsibility, empathy, and respectful attitudes among students. These results indicate that character formation becomes more effective when spiritual practices and value-based instruction are consistently embedded in school routines. The study also fills a gap in the literature regarding the use of dzikir as a pedagogical strategy in Islamic elementary education and proposes a viable model of religious-based character development for primary schools in Indonesia. Keywords: moral character, dzikir, religious values, habituation, character education.

Abstract

Global economic instability and the increasing complexity of personal financial management demand a more ethical, stable, and sustainable approach. In this context, Islamic economic practitioners propose various innovations to revitalize financial freedom based on the principles of Maqāṣid al-Sharīʿah, particularly Ḥifẓ al-Māl. This study aims to analyze the integration of the Ḥifẓ al-Māl principle into financial planning and management and its contribution to improving the financial Wellbeing of individuals and society. The research employs a qualitative case study design, supported by descriptive analysis. Data were obtained from reputable scientific journals, official reports from international institutions, and in-depth interviews with Islamic economics experts and Islamic finance practitioners. Furthermore, statistical data related to financial stability and Islamic investment behavior were used to strengthen the findings. The results show that the application of Islamic principles, particularly the avoidance of gharar, proportional risk management, and commitment to the public interest, contributes to improving individual financial stability by decreasing the risk of default and increasing the accumulation of productive assets. The integration of Hifdz al-Mal also encourages safer, more inclusive, and long-term investment practices, thereby strengthening public trust in the Islamic financial system. This study concludes that consistent implementation of Maqasid al-Shariah can be an effective strategy for building equitable and sustainable financial freedom. The implications of these findings are relevant for individuals, financial institutions, and policymakers in designing financial instruments and programs that respond to the dynamics of the modern economy.

Abstract

In the era of decentralization, the gap between populist political promises and the reality of bureaucratic implementation often hinders regional development. This study aims to analyze the political communication strategy of the Governor of Central Sulawesi, Dr. H. Anwar Hafid, M.Si., in implementing the "Berani Cerdas" free education policy innovation. Employing a qualitative approach with a constructivist-policy analysis design, this research reconstructs Dan Nimmo’s political communication theory by dialoguing it with the concept of the Network Society. Data collection was conducted through process tracing, in-depth interviews, and netnography. The findings indicate that: (1) The Governor successfully transformed from an electoral political actor into a Policy Entrepreneur by leveraging his technocratic track record as credibility capital; (2) The communication strategy employed is hybrid (omni-channel), integrating legal-formal authority, conventional mass media, and digital virality to reach cross-generational audiences; (3) The audience (students) are no longer passive message consumers but act as Network Validators who verify political promises through empirical experience. This study concludes that political communication serves not merely as a branding tool, but as a strategic instrument to enforce bureaucratic performance (bureaucratic enforcer) and mobilize public participation, effectively bridging the gap between political rhetoric and the reality of public services.
