Abstract

In Indonesia, investment is now commonplace for Indonesian people, plus the increasingly rapid development of technology and digitalization, makes it easier for people to invest. We cannot necessarily invest for the reason of keeping up with the times, if this is not taken into consideration when making investment decisions it could be detrimental, while the aim of investment is for profit. When making investment decisions, we must consider how investors have risk tolerance and overconfidence. The aim of this research is so that the decisions we take in determining investment success on the Stock Exchange can be carried out optimally. The main data used in this research comes from interviews and data collection methods for 100 respondents using Accidental Sampling in the millennial population of the Bekasi area. The study methodology takes a quantitative tack. Using SmartPLS software, the Partial Least Square statistical test tool was used to evaluate the indicators for each variable. According to the study's findings, overconfidence affects investment decisions made on the Indonesian Stock Exchange, while risk tolerance has no bearing on such decisions

Abstract

Continuity of Care (COC) is a service that is achieved when there is a continuous relationship between a woman and a midwife. Based on PWS-KIA data, the incidence or cases of pathological obstetrics in pregnancy were 12%, cases of childbirth were 13%, cases during the postpartum period were 7.4%, and cases in newborns were 3.7%. However, the implementation of Continuity of Care (COC) at the  Health Center itself has never been evaluated. This study is to analyze the implementation of continuity of care in pathological pregnancy services at Primary Health Center. This study was a qualitative descriptive study with 5 midwives and 2 pregnant women as the samples. The data were gathered through a Focus Group Discussion. The results of the analysis were in the form of a narrative. The service mechanism for pregnant women with their own pathological problems is carried out according to the SOP in the Puskesmas. Meanwhile, for pathological cases of pregnancy, a referral will be conducted to a general practitioner and will also be referred to a nutritionist if the pregnant woman has malnutrition problems such as anemia. The study reveals that midwives' knowledge of COC ranged from first heard (surface introduction) of COC to COC as continuous care. The support system in the implementation of continuity of care is cadres. The inhibiting factor in the implementation of continuity of care is that the limited number of midwives at Primary Health Center.

Abstract

The COVID-19 pandemic has had an impact on various sectors of business operations, one of which pertains to the occurrence of audit delays. Companies experienced more instances of audit delays in their financial statements in 2019 compared to the subsequent year. This forms the basis for researching the factors influencing these instances of audit delay. The primary objective of this study was to analyze how company size, KAP quality solvency, and profitability affect audit delays. The study's sample consisted of companies within the consumer goods industry sector listed on the Indonesia Stock Exchange from 2019 to 2021. The sampling technique employed was purposive sampling. The analytical method utilized in this research was multiple linear analysis. The findings of the study reveal that audit delays are collectively influenced by company size, KAP quality, solvency, and profitability. While firm size and solvency exhibit no significant individual impact on audit delays, the variables of KAP quality and profitability demonstrate a noteworthy negative effect. The explanatory power of the variables related to company size, KAP quality, solvency, and profitability in clarifying the audit delay variable amounts to 18.7%.

Abstract

Kata kunci: karang lunak; Sarcophyton sp.; Sinularia sp.; peningkatan suhu; laju pengambilan pakan; waktu pemberian pakanAbstractIncreased the mean sea surface temperatures cause damage to coral reef ecosystems, one of those mechanisms is reducing the feeding capacity in soft corals. This study aimed to examine the feeding rates of soft corals Sinularia sp. and Sarcophyton sp. at different temperatures to determine the effect of increasing temperature, feeding time and interaction between those factors on feeding rates of soft corals Sarcophyton sp. and Sinularia sp. Samples of Soft corals were obtained from the cultured of PT. Dinar Darum Lestari in Pegametan Bay Waters, Sumberkima village, Buleleng Regency. Before the experiment, coral fragments were acclimatized for 2 weeks and fed twice a week at 26 °C (control temperature). The experiment started by increasing the water temperature in the aquarium at 1°C every hour to reach 31°C (stress temperature). Once the temperature reached, it kept for 5 days. Each aquarium (26 and 31°C) was fed by Artemia salina nauplii on the second and fourth days with density 100 animals/fragments for 3 hours in the morning. The remained prey was taken by Pasteur pipette and counted manually. The results showed that there was no significant difference in feeding rates in Sarcophyton sp. dan Sinularia sp. at both control and stress temperatures. It is argued that both soft corals relatively have the same temperature tolerance. The increased temperature significantly affected the feeding rate in both soft corals. However, feeding time and interaction between temperature and feeding time did not have a significant effect on the feeding rate. It is assumed that the increased temperature reduces the feeding rate in these soft corals. Moreover, these soft corals seem suffering from stress due to incubate in high temperature (31°C) continuously, caused no significant difference in the feeding rates at all feeding times. Keywords: soft coral; Sarcophyton sp.; Sinularia sp.; increased temperature; feeding rate; feeding time

Abstract

Celukan Bawang water has a strategic location in the northern part of Bali Island that threatened its surrounding coral reefs by shipping, power plant, industrial activities, and shrimp ponds. However, there is limited data on its biodiversity status. Therefore, it is necessary to provide factual information regarding the coral reef ecosystem condition in scientific data. This study aimed to measure the coral reef`s components and the community structure. The coverage of coral reef components was collected based on the UPT method, while community structure data was taken in a belt transect within two different sites. All data was collected in December 2020. The difference in coral reef ecosystem components among sites was analyzed with the Paired-T and Kruskal-Wallis tests (for the non-homogenous data). Results showed that the coverage of live coral colonies in Site 1 is categorized as poor, whereas Site 2 is classified as moderate. Reefs were dominated by type growth non-Acropora massive from the family of Faviidae and encrusting from the family of Pocilloporidae. Statistically, there were no significant differences in all coral reef ecosystem components among Sites 1 and 2. Diversity and Evenness Indices were similarly low in the two sites. Dominance Index demonstrated that Site 1 was lower than Site 2 (moderate). It might be related to the coverage of the abiotic component, which, despite being statistically insignificant, showed that Site 2 has a higher percentage of rubbles and rocks. Rubble and rock can be a substrate for the coral juvenile to attach. Keywords: Community structure; Coral reef; Celukan Bawang; Buleleng
