Abstract

Study Comparative of Creative Assignments, Participatory Collaborative Learning, and Learning Satisfaction in Digital & Non-Digital Learning Media. Objectives: This study aims to comparative of creative assignments, Participatory Collaborative Learning, and learning satisfaction in Digital & Non-Digital Learning. Methods:  The study employed experimental and survey methods with a sample of seven State Aliyah Madrasah schools in East Jakarta. Each school consisted of two groups using digital learning media and two groups using non-digital media, randomly selected in the twelfth grade. Research instruments were previously tested for validity and reliability, and data analysis was conducted using the mean difference test (t-test). Findings:  The findings are: (1) The creative assignment results in the group using digital media are higher than the non-digital media. (2) The participatory-collaborative learning activity is more active in the group using non-digital media than the digital media. (3) The student learning satisfaction in the group using non-digital media is higher than the digital media. Conclusion: This indicates that both digital and non-digital learning media have their respective advantages and disadvantages. Teachers are required to design creative tasks that follow learning objectives because different learning objectives will produce different learning outcomes even though the learning media is the same. Teachers must focus on determining the learning objectives of creative assignments and selecting the appropriate media. Keywords: creative assignment, participatory collaborative learning, learning satisfaction, digital and non-digital media.DOI: http://dx.doi.org/10.23960/jpp.v14.i3.2024129

Abstract

This study focuses on the economic policy strategies implemented by Trump and their implications for economic reform in Indonesia, while also uncovering the multidimensional and complex interactions between foreign policy and its impact on the domestic economy. The purpose of this study is to understand the influence of Donald Trump's economic decisions on public behavior, as well as their suitability to policies in Indonesia. The data collection method was carried out using a qualitative approach, using literature studies and analysis of the applicable policy context. The data were analyzed through interdisciplinary nuances that include Public Choice Theory, Behavioral Economics, and Sustainable Economic Development, each of which provides thematic-impressive and case-impactful insights into the dynamics of policy and public response. Primary sources used in this study include academic reports, news articles, and analysis from experts in the field of political economy. The research findings prove that economic policies in the US can trigger sentiments and behavioral patterns that directly affect Indonesian society, especially in the context of dissatisfaction with local policies. The conclusion of this analysis boldly asserts that economic reform in Indonesia needs to capitalize on existing psychological and social factors. The novelty of this research is seen in the development of an analytical framework that links foreign economic policy with broader public responses, as well as the importance of public involvement in the decision-making process. Limitations of this research include the lack of specific quantitative data, and further research is recommended to explore the interaction between policies from other countries and their impacts on Indonesian society more holistically, both directly and indirectly.

Abstract

The main issue addressed in this research is the impact of the US-China trade war on the application of Islamic law in Indonesia, particularly from the perspectives of Jināyah, Aḥwāl al-Shakhṣiyyah, and Islamic Economic Law. This study aims to understand how Islamic law can provide a relevant framework for addressing this trade conflict's social and economic challenges. The methods employed include qualitative analysis, with data obtained through literature studies and observations of social phenomena within the community. The research findings indicate that the trade war has triggered an increase in economic crimes and disrupted social family structures, while highlighting the importance of applying Sharia principles to mitigate these negative impacts. The limitations of this study lie in the lack of in-depth quantitative data and the representation of the perspectives of all involved stakeholders. However, this research offers novelty by integrating legal theories of Islam within the context of a dynamic global economy, as well as providing practical, Sharia-based alternative solutions. Further research is recommended to utilize quantitative approaches and surveys to explore broader community perspectives. By involving various societal elements, a more holistic view of the impact of this trade war is expected, leading to more effective and sustainable policy strategies. This study significantly contributes to the development of Islamic law studies by addressing contemporary challenges faced by Indonesian society within a global context.

Abstract

In the creation of a perfect human being, humans are unable to live alone without the presence of others. Seeing the reality, humans do need interaction between one another. From these interactions, some are mutually beneficial and some are detrimental. However, building a relationship, one of which is friendship, is not an easy thing. Because, everyone has their own nature and character. In real life, there are indeed detrimental friendship relationships, which only benefit one party and harm the other party. Therefore, this article was written to examine several issues related to the influence of friendship, to be used as an answer and understanding of existing problems. This article uses a qualitative method with a library research pattern or thematic hadith study literature research. The use of primary sources in this study is the hadith about friendship sourced from canonical hadith books, such as the books of Sahih Bukhari, Muslim, and others. While the secondary sources are narratives or articles related to the theme of the study. The study includes an analysis of the quality and quantity of hadith about friendship through takhrij and i’tibar sanad. Then how is the dramaturgy theory by Erving Goffman, and how is the interpretation of hadith with the perspective of the dramaturgy theory. The results of the study show that friendship has a significant influence on the formation of a person's character. Social interaction of friendship can shape social behavior positively or negatively. The hadith used is the hadith of Imam Bukhari about the importance of choosing friends. The analysis of the sanad of this hadith is declared to be valid in quality, because the sanad of the hadith is continuous, the narrator is 'fair and dabit. Furthermore, regarding the matan hadith, no irregularities or defects were found, nor do they contradict the verses of the Qur'an, authentic hadiths, historical facts, and scientific truths.

Abstract

Abstract: Debates on Bay’ al-Istijrār often revolve around permissibility of take now pay later arrangements, yet the decisive tension lies in the method of istiḥsān and the limits of gharar, especially regarding price certainty and the moment a contract is formed. A normative Islamic law inquiry at the level of doctrine applies conceptual, historical, and philosophical approaches, using document study based on Radd al-Muḥtār ʿalā al Durr al Muḥtār Sharḥ Tanwīr al-Abṣār as the primary source for bayʿ al-istijrār and Nasamāt al Ashār as a supporting source for istiḥsān. Ibn ʿĀbidīn’s argument frames the permissibility of Bay’ al-Istijrār not as an unregulated appeal to habit, but as istiḥsān that operates after naṣ, ijmā’, and qiyās are examined. Contract formation is understood to occur with each act of taking the goods, so the subject matter exists at the moment of sale and defined price must be knowable at the time of taking. End of period calculation functions as a settlement record, not as a device to postpone price certainty. ‘Urf serves to clarify practical standards when it qualifies as ‘urf ṣaḥīḥ and does not conflict with naṣ, while ‘urf fāsid is rejected because it expands uncertainty. Recontextualisation to contemporary muʿāmalah is directed toward technical tests of price standards, proof of delivery, rules on unilateral price changes, and accessible dispute resolution, so istiḥsān supports facilitation without sacrificing certainty.

Abstract

The global Muslim population is widely dispersed, with Indonesia having the largest Muslim majority. The halal industry, including the modest fashion sector, operates within an increasingly competitive global market. This study examines the development and challenges of Indonesia’s modest fashion industry within the global halal economy, addressing the critical barriers to its international expansion. Utilizing a qualitative research design with a descriptive approach, this study analyzes data from industry reports, policy documents, and relevant literature. The findings indicate that Indonesia’s Global Islamic Economy Indicator (GIEI) score for the fashion sector improved significantly from 2018 to 2021, positioning the country among the top 10 globally. However, this growth aligns with similar trends observed in competing nations, indicating that Indonesia still faces substantial challenges in maintaining its competitive edge. Key barriers include limited access to financing, difficulties in penetrating international markets, evolving consumer demands, inconsistent government policies, and the need for technological advancements in marketing, research, and development. Despite these obstacles, Indonesia’s modest fashion industry continues to expand, driven by increasing global recognition and ongoing industry innovation. The study highlights the need for strategic policy interventions and enhanced industry collaborations to strengthen Indonesia’s position in the global halal fashion market.

Abstract

Students enrolled in the Islamic Religious Education (PAI) Study Program are trained to become professional teachers capable of teaching all branches of PAI subjects in schools and madrasahs, including Islamic Cultural History (SKI). The SKI Learning System in Madrasahs course aims to equip students with pedagogical competencies in teaching SKI. However, the limited availability of adequate teaching materials and learning resources poses a challenge in this learning process. This study aims to analyze the feasibility of the Encyclopedia of Islamic History, compiled by the Research and Islamic Studies Team of Egypt, as a supplementary book for the Islamic Cultural History textbook published by the Indonesian Ministry of Religious Affairs in 2020. This research employs a qualitative method with a library research approach. Data collection techniques include literature review and documentation, while data analysis is conducted using a descriptive-interpretative method. The findings indicate that the Encyclopedia of Islamic History is suitable as a supplementary book for SKI learning. This book explores Islamic culture from a historical perspective and shares similarities in content with 15 out of 20 chapters in the Ministry of Religious Affairs textbook. Therefore, it serves as an effective reference for SKI teachers and prospective PAI educators, including fourth-semester students at STAI Al-Hidayah Bogor.

Abstract

This investigates moral education through spiritual reinforcement of teachers in the Qodiriyah wa Naqsyabandiyah Tarekat at MA Darul Ulum Karangpandan, Pasuruan, addressing contemporary moral degradation in formal education. Employing qualitative case study methodology with triangulated data collection, the research is grounded in the theo-anthropocentric paradigm and Islamic intellectual traditions. Three principal findings emerged. First, "kun ma'a man ma'allah" constitutes the conceptual framework, operationalized through tazkiyah al-nafs, istiqāmah, muḥāsabah, and divine love. Second, implementation occurs through dual approaches: value internalization via takhallī and taḥallī strategies incorporating bay'ah, riyāḍah, tawajjuhān, and qudwah; and institutional integration through religious activities and performance appraisal systems. Third, implications manifest in teachers' spiritual transformation encompassing ma'rifatullāh, al-wa'y al-ilāhī, and takhalluq bi akhlāq Allāh. The study demonstrates how Sufistic moral education cultivates ethical consciousness among educators within formal educational contexts.
