Abstract

The importance of a leader in empowering others to achieve goals optimally, especially in forming intelligent children with local character in early childhood education, is still limited. Therefore, this study aims to describe teacher empowerment strategies in shaping intelligent children with local character through a green school approach. This study utilizes a qualitative method with a multi-case design. Data collection techniques include in-depth interviews, observations, and document analysis. The validity of the findings is credibility, transferability, dependability, and confirmability. Data analysis utilizes an interactive model from Miles and Huberman (2014): data collection, data condensation, data presentation, and data conclusion. The results of the study showed that leadership values and beliefs, such as religious values, local character values, exemplary values, and collegiality values , are fundamental in implementing teacher empowerment strategies to shape intelligent children with local character. including improvement (mentoring; competency improvement-based digitalization); nurturing (providing work motivation; individual involvement in work teams; involving all teachers based on their competencies); maintenance (providing freedom to innovate; creating positive work culture; and creating work climate with a sense of family); protecting (building positive communication; and providing recognition); and integrated into learning to form the local character of early childhood accompanied by monitoring and evaluation both internally and externally. The results of this study can be used as a reference and consideration in developing a principle in empowering others.

Abstract

Abstract: Teachers' work achievements are a reflection of the responsibility and quality of the implementation of an educator's duties in supporting the success of education. The low performance of teachers at the Palangka Raya City State High School is still a concern, characterized by a lack of involvement in professional activities, a low level of discipline, and work motivation which is mostly external. Teacher performance is not only influenced by one factor, but the result of the interaction of various elements such as competence, motivation, and work discipline. This study was conducted to find out how teacher competence and work motivation affect work performance, both directly and indirectly through work discipline as a mediating variable. This study uses a quantitative approach with a survey method. The population in this study is all public high school teachers in Palangka Raya City, and the sampling technique is carried out proportionally. Data collection was carried out using a Likert scale questionnaire, and data analysis was carried out using path analysis with the help of SPSS version 25. The results of the study show that teacher competence and work motivation have a direct and significant effect on work discipline, as well as directly affect teachers' work performance. Work discipline has been shown to be a mediating variable that strengthens the relationship between competence and motivation to work performance. From the results of this study, it is suggested: (1) teachers need to increase commitment and responsibility through continuous professional development, (2) school principals are expected to create a work climate that supports motivation and discipline, and (3) educational institutions need to design competency strengthening programs that are integrated with strengthening work culture Keywords: Teacher Competence; Work Motivation; Work Discipline; Teacher Work Performance Abstrak: Prestasi kerja guru merupakan pencerminan dari tanggung jawab dan kualitas pelaksanaan tugas seorang pendidik dalam mendukung keberhasilan pendidikan. Rendahnya prestasi kerja guru di SMA Negeri Kota Palangka Raya masih menjadi perhatian, ditandai dengan minimnya keterlibatan dalam kegiatan profesional, rendahnya tingkat kedisiplinan, serta motivasi kerja yang sebagian besar bersifat eksternal. Kinerja guru tidak hanya dipengaruhi oleh satu faktor, melainkan hasil interaksi berbagai elemen seperti kompetensi, motivasi, dan disiplin kerja. Penelitian ini dilakukan untuk mengetahui bagaimana kompetensi guru dan motivasi kerja memengaruhi prestasi kerja, baik secara langsung maupun tidak langsung melalui disiplin kerja sebagai variabel mediasi. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kuantitatif dengan metode survei. Populasi dalam penelitian ini adalah seluruh guru SMA Negeri di Kota Palangka Raya sejumlah 527, dan teknik pengambilan sampel dilakukan secara proporsional sejumlah 227 guru. Pengumpulan data dilakukan menggunakan angket berskala Likert, dan analisis data menggunakan path analysis dengan bantuan SPSS versi 25. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa kompetensi guru dan motivasi kerja berpengaruh langsung dan signifikan terhadap disiplin kerja, serta secara langsung memengaruhi prestasi kerja guru. Disiplin kerja terbukti menjadi variabel mediasi yang memperkuat hubungan antara kompetensi dan motivasi terhadap prestasi kerja. Dari hasil penelitian ini disarankan: (1) guru perlu meningkatkan komitmen dan tanggung jawab melalui pengembangan profesional berkelanjutan, (2) kepala sekolah diharapkan menciptakan iklim kerja yang mendukung motivasi dan disiplin, serta (3) lembaga pendidikan perlu merancang program penguatan kompetensi yang terintegrasi dengan penguatan budaya kerja. Abstract

Abstract: The Merdeka Belajar policy was launched to improve the quality of education by strengthening school autonomy and providing flexibility in the learning process. However, its implementation still faces several challenges, particularly regarding human resource readiness, capacity disparities between schools, and weak policy analysis at the school level. This study analyzes the implementation of the Merdeka Belajar policy using the L-EARN (Listen, Empathize, Analyze, Recommend, Navigate) Model as a framework. The method used was an Integrative Literature Review (ILR) by reviewing various leading international journal articles and national education policy documents. Data analysis was conducted through four stages: content analysis, thematic mapping, conceptual model development, and contextual analysis. The results show that the main challenges in implementing this policy include limited teacher capacity, low levels of data literacy in schools, and suboptimal instructional leadership. The use of the L-EARN Model helps identify gaps between regulations and learning practices and provides a more contextual and sustainable direction for policy improvement. The conclusions of this study indicate that the implementation of Merdeka Belajar requires an adaptive, participatory, and sustainable policy learning process to truly drive improvements in education quality. Keywords: Independent Learning; education policy analysis; L–EARN Model; education quality Abstrak: Kebijakan Merdeka Belajar dicanangkan untuk meningkatkan kualitas pendidikan dengan memperkuat otonomi sekolah serta memberikan fleksibilitas dalam proses pembelajaran. Meski demikian, pelaksanaannya masih dihadapkan pada sejumlah tantangan, terutama menyangkut kesiapan sumber daya manusia, ketimpangan kapasitas antar sekolah, dan lemahnya analisis kebijakan di tingkat sekolah. Penelitian ini menganalisis implementasi kebijakan Merdeka Belajar dengan menggunakan Model L–EARN (Listen, Empathize, Analyze, Recommend, Navigate) sebagai kerangka berpikir. Metode yang digunakan berupa Integrative Literature Review (ILR) dengan mengkaji berbagai artikel jurnal internasional terkemuka dan dokumen kebijakan pendidikan nasional. Analisis data dilakukan melalui empat tahapan: analisis konten, pemetaan tematik, pengembangan model konseptual, dan analisis kontekstual. Hasil penelitian memperlihatkan bahwa tantangan utama dalam implementasi kebijakan ini antara lain keterbatasan kapasitas guru, rendahnya tingkat literasi data di sekolah, dan belum optimalnya kepemimpinan pembelajaran. Penggunaan Model L–EARN membantu mengidentifikasi kesenjangan antara regulasi dan praktik pembelajaran serta memberikan arah perbaikan kebijakan yang lebih kontekstual dan berkelanjutan. Simpulan dari penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa implementasi Merdeka Belajar membutuhkan proses pembelajaran kebijakan yang adaptif, partisipatif, dan berkelanjutan untuk benar-benar mendorong peningkatan mutu pendidikan. Abstract

Abstract: This study aims to describe curriculum management in the implementation of the Merdeka Curriculum through a multi-site study at SMPN 3 and SMPN 4 Katingan Tengah. The focus of the research includes school principals' policies, teacher empowerment, and school partnerships. A qualitative approach was employed, with data collected through in-depth interviews, observations, and documentation. The findings reveal that both schools successfully implemented the Merdeka Curriculum in an adaptive and contextual manner. School principals acted as instructional leaders, both visionary and facilitative, by encouraging innovation, academic supervision, and collaborative reflection with teachers. Teachers were empowered as primary designers and implementers of learning through training, collaboration, and the development of teaching materials based on local potential. The use of technology and professional learning communities supported ongoing teacher development. Strategic partnerships with various stakeholders, including community leaders, local entrepreneurs, religious institutions, and government agencies, strengthened the curriculum implementation. These collaborations supported contextual learning, character education, and community empowerment within the school environment.The study concludes that the synergy between strong school leadership, empowered teachers, and active partnerships is the key to successful curriculum management based on the Merdeka Curriculum. These findings provide implications for educational policy development, school capacity building, and teacher professional development in regions facing geographical and socio-cultural challenges. Keywords: management, curriculum, merdeka, teacher empowerment, partnership Abstrak: Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mendeskripsikan manajemen kurikulum dalam implementasi Kurikulum Merdeka melalui studi multi situs di SMPN 3 dan SMPN 4 Katingan Tengah. Fokus penelitian mencakup kebijakan kepala sekolah, pemberdayaan guru, dan kemitraan sekolah. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif dengan teknik pengumpulan data melalui wawancara mendalam, observasi, dan dokumentasi. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa kedua sekolah mampu mengimplementasikan Kurikulum Merdeka secara adaptif dan kontekstual. Kepala sekolah berperan sebagai pemimpin pembelajaran yang visioner dan fasilitator, mendorong inovasi, supervisi akademik, serta refleksi bersama guru. Guru diberdayakan sebagai perancang dan pelaksana utama pembelajaran melalui pelatihan, kolaborasi, serta pengembangan perangkat ajar berbasis potensi lokal. Pemanfaatan teknologi dan komunitas belajar menjadi bagian penting dalam mendukung profesionalisme guru. Kemitraan strategis dengan berbagai pihak, seperti tokoh masyarakat, UMKM, lembaga keagamaan, dan instansi pemerintah, turut memperkuat pelaksanaan kurikulum. Kemitraan ini mendukung pembelajaran kontekstual, pendidikan karakter, dan pemberdayaan komunitas sekolah. Penelitian ini menyimpulkan bahwa sinergi antara kepemimpinan kepala sekolah, pemberdayaan guru, dan penguatan kemitraan merupakan kunci keberhasilan manajemen kurikulum berbasis Kurikulum Merdeka. Temuan ini memberikan implikasi bagi pengembangan kebijakan pendidikan, penguatan kapasitas sekolah, dan pengembangan profesional guru di daerah dengan tantangan geografis dan sosial budaya. Abstract

Abstract: This study aims to analyze the effect of information technology utilization, work environment, and work enthusiasm on the performance of educational staff at the Rectorate of Lambung Mangkurat University. This research employs a quantitative approach with a correlational method and path analysis design. The population consisted of 260 educational staff members, and a sample of 158 respondents was selected using proportional random sampling. Data were collected through questionnaires that had been tested for validity and reliability using SPSS software. The results showed that the utilization of information technology had a positive and significant effect on employee performance, with a direct influence coefficient of 0.383. The work environment also had a positive and significant effect on performance, with a direct influence coefficient of 0.304. Work enthusiasm was found to have a positive effect on performance, with a coefficient of 0.327. Furthermore, the utilization of information technology affected work enthusiasm with a coefficient of 0.661, while the work environment affected work enthusiasm with a coefficient of 0.234. The indirect influence of information technology utilization on performance through work enthusiasm was 0.216, and the indirect influence of the work environment through work enthusiasm was 0.076. Based on these findings, it can be concluded that the improvement of educational staff performance at the Rectorate of Lambung Mangkurat University is strongly influenced by the optimal use of information technology, a conducive work environment, and high work enthusiasm. Therefore, the organization needs to strengthen support for technology utilization and create a comfortable work climate to foster employee enthusiasm and achieve optimal performance. Keywords: Early Childhood Education, Educational Facilities, Discipline, Behaviorism, RA Assyifa’ Abstrak: Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis pengaruh pemanfaatan teknologi informasi, lingkungan kerja, dan semangat kerja terhadap kinerja pegawai tenaga kependidikan di Rektorat Universitas Lambung Mangkurat. Jenis penelitian ini adalah penelitian kuantitatif dengan metode korelasional dan pendekatan path analysis. Populasi penelitian berjumlah 260 orang tenaga kependidikan, dan sebanyak 158 responden dipilih sebagai sampel dengan teknik proportional random sampling. Data dikumpulkan melalui kuesioner yang telah diuji validitas dan reliabilitasnya menggunakan program SPSS. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa pemanfaatan teknologi informasi berpengaruh positif dan signifikan terhadap kinerja pegawai dengan koefisien pengaruh langsung sebesar 0,383. Lingkungan kerja juga berpengaruh positif dan signifikan terhadap kinerja pegawai dengan koefisien pengaruh langsung sebesar 0,304. Semangat kerja terbukti memiliki pengaruh positif terhadap kinerja pegawai dengan koefisien sebesar 0,327. Selain itu, pemanfaatan teknologi informasi berpengaruh terhadap semangat kerja dengan koefisien 0,661, sedangkan lingkungan kerja berpengaruh terhadap semangat kerja dengan koefisien 0,234. Pengaruh tidak langsung pemanfaatan teknologi informasi terhadap kinerja melalui semangat kerja sebesar 0,216, dan pengaruh tidak langsung lingkungan kerja melalui semangat kerja sebesar 0,076. Berdasarkan hasil tersebut, dapat disimpulkan bahwa peningkatan kinerja pegawai tenaga kependidikan di Rektorat Universitas Lambung Mangkurat sangat dipengaruhi oleh optimalisasi pemanfaatan teknologi informasi, lingkungan kerja yang kondusif, serta semangat kerja yang tinggi. Dengan demikian, organisasi perlu memperkuat dukungan terhadap penggunaan teknologi informasi dan menciptakan iklim kerja yang nyaman untuk mendorong semangat kerja pegawai agar tercapai kinerja yang optimal. Abstract

Abstract: Teacher professionalism is a fundamental factor in human resource development, because the quality of education delivered by competent educators contributes directly to the formation of individuals with integrity, knowledge, and adequate skills to face future dynamics and challenges. Based on the results of initial observations, human resource development through teacher professional training is running well through a designed teacher professional development program and transformational leadership roles at SMA Negeri 1 Palangka Raya and SMA Negeri 4 Palangka Raya. This study aims to examine the professional development model that has been carried out at SMA Negeri 1 Palangka Raya and SMA Negeri 4 Palangka Raya. Data collection through interviews, observations and document studies, was analyzed using the Miles & Huberman model through single-site data analysis and cross-site data analysis. The results of the study show that the development strategy designed by this school is effective in responding to the real needs of teachers and providing space for exploration of teaching practices. Teacher involvement appears as a result and condition for the implementation of a meaningful teacher professional development strategy. The results of the study show that transformational leadership has an important role in shaping relevant and adaptive strategies, thus having a direct impact on the success of teacher professional development. This shows that the quality of the principal's leadership, especially in terms of effective communication, appreciation, and support for individual development, is an interrelated factor with the involvement of teachers in the process. It is also recommended that the development of professional teachers be made a sustainable program. This research also opens up space for further research to understand the development of professional teachers in more depth. Abstrak: Profesionalisme guru merupakan faktor fundamental dalam pengembangan sumber daya manusia, karena kualitas pendidikan yang disampaikan oleh tenaga pendidik yang kompeten berkontribusi langsung pada pembentukan individu yang berintegritas, berpengetahuan luas, serta memiliki keterampilan yang memadai untuk menghadapi dinamika dan tantangan masa depan. Berdasarkan hasil observasi awal, pengembangan SDM melalui pelatihan profesional guru yang berjalan dengan baik melalui program pengembangan profesional guru yang dirancang dan peran kepemimpinan transformasional di SMA Negeri 1 Palangka Raya dan SMA Negeri 4 Palangka Raya. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menelaah model pengembangan profesional yang sudah dilakukan di SMA Negeri 1 Palangka Raya dan SMA Negeri 4 Palangka Raya. Pengumpulan data melalui wawancara, observasi dan studi dokumen, dianalisis menggunakan model Miles & Huberman melalui analisis data satu situs dan analisis data lintas situs. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa strategi pengembangan yang dirancang oleh sekolah ini efektif dalam merespon kebutuhan nyata guru dan memberi ruang eksplorasi praktik mengajar. Keterlibatan guru muncul sebagai hasil dan syarat berjalannya strategi pengembangan profesional guru yang bermakna. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa kepemimpinan transformasional memiliki peran penting dalam membentuk strategi yang relevan dan adaptif, sehingga berdampak langsung pada keberhasilan pengembangan profesional guru. Hal ini memperlihatkan bahwa kualitas kepemimpinan kepala sekolah, khususnya dalam hal komunikasi yang efektif, pemberian apresiasi, serta dukungan terhadap pengembangan individu, menjadi faktor yang saling terkait dengan keterlibatan guru dalam proses tersebut. Disarankan pula agar pengembangan guru professional dijadikan program yang berkelanjutan. Penelitian ini juga membuka ruang bagi penelitian selanjutnya untuk memahami pengembangan guru professional secara lebih mendalam. Abstract

Multigrade classrooms in Indonesia's 3T (Disadvantaged, Frontier, and Outermost) regions face unique pedagogical challenges that require adaptive supervision approaches different from single-grade contexts. This study developed the Adaptive Rapid Supervision (ARS) Model for multigrade classroom learning in 3T regions and assessed its validity, practicality, and initial benefit indications. The research employed an Educational Design Research approach through preliminary, prototype development, and limited trial evaluation stages. The research context was combined grade 3–4 classrooms at SDN Kecil Juhu and SDN Kecil Datar Batung. The ARS product comprises a model document and operational instrument package including brief pre-observation, one-page two-round observation instrument, four-level rubric, work evidence checklist, single-focus coaching guide, and weekly micro follow-up. Validation by two experts using a Likert scale (1–5) showed a mean of 4.26 (very high category). Limited trials across four sessions showed all ARS components were implemented within 23–28 minutes (mean 25.5 minutes). Process indicators showed improvements after micro follow-up: independent class interruptions decreased from a mean of 8 to 4 times per 10 minutes, on-task behavior increased from 62% to 76%, and rotation transitions improved from approximately 3 minutes to 1.5 minutes. Practitioner practicality and teacher acceptance fell in the very high category with means of 4.34 and 4.22 respectively. ARS is assessed as valid, practical, and has potential to strengthen evidence-based supervision in multigrade classrooms in 3T regions.

Abstract

Teacher job satisfaction is an important factor in improving the quality of education and is influenced by principal leadership, work culture, and work motivation. This study aims to analyze the effect of principal leadership and work culture on teacher job satisfaction, both directly and indirectly through work motivation. This research employed a quantitative approach using path analysis. The population consisted of 401 teachers, with a sample of 200 teachers selected proportionally. Data were collected through questionnaires and analyzed using descriptive analysis and path analysis. The results show that principal leadership has a positive effect on teacher job satisfaction with a path coefficient of 0.305, work culture 0.180, and work motivation 0.536 as the most dominant effect. In addition, principal leadership affects work motivation with a path coefficient of 0.439 and work culture 0.364. There is also an indirect effect of principal leadership on job satisfaction through work motivation of 0.235, and work culture through work motivation of 0.195. Descriptively, all variables are in the high category. And, work motivation acts as a mediating variable that strengthens the influence of principal leadership and work culture on teacher job satisfaction

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui pelaksanaan pengembangan aspek nilai agama dan moral dalam pembelajaran seni anak. Serta, Strategi pembelajaran guru untuk penanaman nilai aspek agama dan moral dengan menggunakan lingkungan sebagai sumber belajar. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode kualitatif deskriptif. Sumber penelitian data penelitian ini yaitu sumber data primer: 1) Guru kelas B1 di RA Perwanida dan RA Al-Wardah Buntok Kabupaten Barito Selatan. 2) Peserta didik kelas B1 di RA Perwanida dan RA Al-Wardah Buntok Kabupaten Barito Selatan. Sumber data sekunder: 1) Kepala sekolah RA Perwanida dan RA Al-Wardah Buntok Kabupaten Barito Selatan. 2) Data dokumen berupa: Modul Ajar, Program Mingguan, RPPH. Selanjutnya teknik pengumpulan data melalui: Wawancara, Dokumentasi, dan Observasi. Serta analisis data dalam penelitian ini yaitu 1) Analisis data situs tunggal. 2) Analisis data lintas situs. Hasil penelitian ini menunjukan bahwa: 1) Pelaksanaan pengembangan aspek nilai agama dan moral dalam pembelajaran seni anak B1 di RA Perwanida dan RA Al-Wardah Buntok Kabupaten Barito Selatan mengacu kepada perencanaan, pelaksanaan dan evaluasi serta jadwal yang telah di rancang dan terprogram oleh guru. 2) Strategi pembelajaran guru untuk penanaman nilai aspek agama dan moral dengan menggunakan lingkungan sebagai sumber belajar yaitu pada kedisipilinan, keteladanan dan pembiasaan

Abstract

Perkembangan Sosial Anak merupakan pencapaian kemampuan berperilaku yang sepadan dengan klaim sosial terdiri dari adat, moral dan tradisi sehingga menjadi kesatuan yang berafiliasi menggunakan komunikasi dan gotong royong. Tujuan penelitian ini untuk menganalisis pengaruh langsung dan tidak langsung media sosial, peran ayah dan pemahaman gender anak terhadap perkembangan sosial anak di Raudhatul Athfal Se Kecamatan Martapura Kota. Desain penelitian yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah kuantitatif melalui korelasi dan analisis jalur (Path analysis) untuk menganalisis pola hubungan antar variabel. Pengumpulan data menggunakan intrumen kuesioner dan analisis data menggunakan analisis deskriptif, uji asumsi klasik, uji hipotesis dan analisis jalur (path analysis). Terdapat pengaruh langsung secara parsial antara media sosial, peran ayah dan pemahaman gender anak terhadap perkembangan sosial anak. Tidak terdapat pengaruh tidak langsung media sosial terhadap perkembangan sosial anak melalui pemahaman gender anak dan terdapat pengaruh langsung tidak langsung peran ayah terhadap perkembangan sosial anak melalui pemahaman gender anak.
