Abstract

MSMEs (Micro and Small and Medium Enterprises) have an important role now in the ASEAN economy. 96% of companies in ASEAN are MSMEs. Although MSMEs have shown their role, they still face various obstacles and constraints such as lack of information, weak branding, promotion and infrastructure. The application of information technology will certainly make it easier for MSMEs to strengthen branding, business processing and enable cooperation with other parties to provide added value to MSMEs. The application of cloud computing or cloud computing is considered suitable for MSMEs that have limited resources in the form of capital, human resources (HR) and information technology infrastructure. Responding to the importance of the application of information technology to these MSMEs, the research aims to design and build systems that can facilitate MSMEs by utilizing cloud computing technology with SAAS (software as a service). The system has been tested by testing carried out using the blackbox method which is considered to be running optimally, functionally the system built can produce the output expected by the MSMEe participants. Usability testing to measure the level of satisfaction (user satisfaction) with the usability scale (SUS) system method is also felt necessary so that the system is designed and built according to user needs and satisfaction. With the results of the calculation of SUS 72.25 which means that it belongs to class B or above the average makes SAAS cloud computing services a system that can be accepted by MSMEs participants in supporting their business.

Abstract

Video streaming merupakan salah satu layanan aplikasi multimedia real time yang tersedia pada jaringan Universal Mobile Telecomunication System (UMTS). Banyaknya layanan telekomunikasi yang dapat dilayani UMTS tidak sebanding dengan bandwidth yang disediakan. Salah satu metode yang digunakan untuk meningkatkan kualitas layanan video streaming pada jaringan UMTS adalah dengan menerapkan metode antrian Differented Service (DiffServ). DiffServ menyediakan pembedaan layanan, dengan membagi trafik atas kelas-kelas, dan memperlakukan setiap kelas secara berbeda. Untuk mengetahui pengaruh penerapan metode antrian DiffServ pada layanan video streaming jaringan UMTS terhadap variasi trafik 25%, 50% dan 75% dengan simulasi jaringan OPNET Simulator 14.5. Metode antrian DiffServ yang digunakan adalah Priority Queuing (PQ), Weighted Fair Queuing (WFQ) dan Modified Weighted Round Robin (MWRR). Parameter kualitas layanan yang digunakan adalah jitter, end-to-end delay dan packet loss. Dari hasil analisis diperoleh bahwa penerapan metode DiffServ pada variasi trafik adalah dapat meningkatkan kualitas layanan video streaming pada jaringan UMTS. Untuk penerapan metode antrian PQ, WFQ dan MWRR menghasilkan perbedaan nilai yang tidak jauh berbeda. Variasi trafik 50% memiliki kualitas layanan yang lebih baik dari pada variasi lainnya.

Abstract

The sharp increase on the demand of mobile telecommunication services requires strategy from providers and government to overcome the need on the mobile network infrastructure. Denpasar is the capital city of Bali Province also as one of the world tourism destination has the dramatic increase in development of mobile telecommunication infrastructure. It can be seen from the number of Greenfield and Rooftop telecommunication tower increase every year. This paper shows the telecommunication tower distribution at Denpasar in year 2012. Survey was done through literature study based on recorded data at the communication and information office at the Government of Denpasar City. In addition, we did the site visit survey to find out the coordinate and tower identities. Then, each towers coordinate was plotted at google map to see the towers distribution and mapping in Denpasar. From the survey and tower mapping we found that there were a number of 326 total telecommunication towers in the area Denpasar. It was consist of 108 unit Greenfield towers and 218 unit Rooftop towers. The site survey also found that many towers have been used by some providers (joint operation tower). There was no tower found located at the Greenland area as well as at the holy and sacred area such as around temples which is very important to be analyzed when planning tower location.  However, many tower were not equipped with the tower identity which has been a requirement base on communication and Information Ministry’s decree number 02/PER/M.KOMINFO/3/2008 about the Guidelines of Joint Operation Telecommunication Tower.

Abstract

Abstract—An Expert System of Disease Diagnosis in Dogs Based on Facebook Messenger was a useful application to provide an initial diagnosis of the diseases based on the symptoms given by the users. The application uses the Facebook Messenger-based on Natural Language Processing (NLP) method to allow users to easily and comfortably interacting with the app. Diagnosis was obtained by identifying the pattern, and classifying the pattern. The method used in the pattern identification process is N-gram, this method was a matching pattern method where the number of words or character pattern that would be match could be adjusted. The method used to classify a disease is a Matching Template, this method worked by matching the template pattern with the test pattern to find the similarities between the patterns. The study concluded that the application of an expert systems using the N-gram method and the Matching Template had an accurate diagnosis rate of 80%.

Abstract

Abstract— Dishubkominfo as ICT implementing agency, currently serves internet connection of all SKPD in Badung Regency Government Center with bandwidth capacity of 200 Mbps and complaints about the stability and speed of internet access is still a lot going on, both from the internal use of SKPD or external from the community. This problem needs to be addressed by analyzing the characteristics of internet utilization traffic and user behavior in each SKPD so that bandwidth management policy will be right on target. This study aims to monitor and model characters from users using NetFlow and NFDUMP. Based on the study results at Badung District Government Center, it was observed that TCP protocol has the highest level of network usage, followed by UDP protocol, and several other protocols. In terms of traffic sources, it is known that social media is the most frequently accessed site by the user. The results of this study can be used as a consideration in increasing the network bandwidth capacity and policies implemented in the Government Center of Badung Regency associated with internet access.

Abstract

Reporting on act of domestic violence to Integrated Services Center for Woman and Children (Pusat Pelayanan Terpadu Pemberdayaan Perempuan dan Anak (P2TP2A)) Kota Denpasar city is kind of sensitive and vulnerable data to tapping. As a result, security guarantee for the reporter is needed to protect their identity. Security guarantee with anonym reporting system, which uses EIGamal cryptographic algorithm for encryption process and description process. EIGamal cryptographic algorithm is one of asymmetric cryptography which consist of 3 processes, that are process of generate key, encryption process and description process On this security system identity of the reporter will be protected through process of authentication, authorization, and encryption. In this study the researcher uses Android platform and EIGamal cryptographic algorithm for encryption and description, Firebase Auth for authentication, Firebase Rules for authorization and Avalanche Effect for knowing the quality of cryptographic algorithm. The result of the trials which used 10 different ciphet texts of avalanche effect is 58,2%. That result can be categorized as good because a good result of avalanche effect.

Abstract

Sentiment analysis is a field that is currently in great demand by various groups. Sentiment analysis can be done using documents and opinions from social media. One social media that is usually used as a means of opinion is Facebook social media. Before a text is classified, it is necessary to do POS Tagging which is the word labeling stage where the purpose is to determine the words which include opinions and non opinions. For labeling words can use the Hidden Markov Model or Rule Based. The method commonly used in sentiment analysis is the Naïve Bayes Classifier method. This method simply classifies probabilities. Naïve Bayes Classifier can be used to classify opinions into positive and negative opinions. In addition, this method uses training data in the classification process. The classification produced from the Naïve Bayes Classifier method is quite good. To test the accuracy of the system in classifying opinions, the classification results are tested. From the test results obtained an average accuracy of 87.1%. The more training data that is similar to testing data, the better the classification results.

Abstract

LED lamps are an example of an efficiency method compared to conventional lamps because of their higher energy efficiency. In this research, a comparative analysis of electrical efficiency was carried out between LED lamps and conventional lamps. This research collected data from a number of lamps used in a comparative study of LED lamps and conventional lamps at the Cap Karoso Hotel and were tested under the same conditions. The types of LED lights used are recessed downlights, track lights, pendant lights and wall scones. While the types of conventional lamps used are incandescent, halogen, fluorescent and HID. Comparisons and calculations were made in terms of watt energy and electricity costs. Based on these parameters, it can be seen the energy produced and the costs required from both types of LED lamps and conventional lamps. Based on calculations and comparisons of the two types of lamps used, it is calculated that LED lamps can save energy and cost savings by 27%.

Abstract

Pertumbuhan yang besar dari penggunaan Information and Communication Technology (ICT) menyebabkan konsumsi energi meningkat drastis. Kenaikan tak terduga konsumsi energi ICT terjadi karena industri seluler telah menyebarkan lebih dari empat juta base station (BS) untuk pengguna/user, masing-masing mengkonsumsi sekitar 25 MWh per tahun. Efisiensi energi pada BS menjadi pertimbangan utama dalam merancang jaringan seluler yang lebih baik. Salah satunya yaitu efisiensi energi jaringan homogeneous WCDMA/3G pada lingkungan indoor dengan mengevaluasi power consumption. Analisis dilakukan dengan mengamati dan membandingkan konsumsi daya atau kebutuhan energi antara dua sistem peletakan BS yaitu sistem dengan 3 macro BS dan sistem 12 micro BS untuk menjangkau pengguna yang berada di dalam ruangan atau lingkungan indoor. Konsumsi daya yang diamati dan dibandingkan adalah konsumsi daya berdasarkan luas area cakupan yang sama dan konsumsi daya berdasarkan kebutuhan area spectral efficiency (ASE) dan juga area power consumption (APC) pada kondisi busy hour maupun non busy hour sehingga ditemukan jarak optimal peletakan BS. Penelitian dilakukan dengan bantuan RUNE Matlab Toolbox. Dari hasil perhitungan diperoleh bahwa konsumsi daya per BS pada micro BS lebih rendah dibandingkan konsumsi daya per BS pada macro BS. Namun, untuk menjangkau luas area yang sama konsumsi daya total untuk penggunaan 3 macro BS lebih efisien dengan persentase sebesar 16,98%, dibandingkan penggunaan 12 micro BS pada kondisi beban atau penggunaan energi maksimal (load=1). Selain itu, dari hasil simulasi diperoleh bahwa, intersite distance mempengaruhi ASE dan APC. Selanjutnya diperoleh penggunaan micro BS lebih efisien dibandingkan macro BS baik pada kondisi busy hour maupun non busy hour pada target  kebutuhan ASE 6 bits/s/Hz/km2 hingga 12 bits/s/Hz/km2.

Abstract

The OPD LAN network infrastructure is used by users to access various services and applications that exist within the Bali Provincial Government, but in its operations there is no possibility of technical problems. Among 152 network disorders that occur during a year, it is known that the disorder that occurs in LAN OPD is more common in physical disorders (as many as 61 disorders) than logical disorders (as many as 24 disorders). In order to maintain the availability of OPD LAN network infrastructure, it is necessary to evaluate the OPD LAN network infrastructure using COBIT 5.0 which focuses on the EDM, DSS and MEA domains. The evaluation results of the OPD LAN network infrastructure resulted in a percentage index above 50%. Based on the ISO / IEC 15504 rating scale, the processes that are part of the EDM, DSS and MEA domains obtain L (Largely Achieved) status, which is still not fully achieved so that development and optimization of the current network infrastructure conditions are still needed. The results of the evaluation of network infrastructure that has been linked to the disturbance data record for a year, the process obtained in the EDM, DSS and MEA domains is recommended for development and optimization of DSS05, DSS01, DSS02, EDM03, DSS06, DSS03 and MEA02. The development and optimization is recommended towards the preparation of procedures in the form of integrated Standard Operational Procedure (SOP).
