Abstract

The main issue in this research is how the management of the English language skills improvement program for students at modern Islamic boarding school. The purpose of this study is to describe the program and its management in improving the language skills of the students at the institution. This research employs a qualitative approach, with data collected through interviews, observations, and documentation. The data sources are verified through primary and secondary data. The data processing is conducted descriptively and qualitatively, followed by classification of specific aspects of the problem and presented effectively. The findings from field research indicate that the English language skills enhancement program at modern Islamic boarding school consists of four main programs: i) intracurricular program, consists of grammar, dictation, English lesson, story for you, reading and speaking, ii) curricular program, consists of daily vocabularies, English conversations, English week, muhadharah, haflah al-Lughah, speech contest, iii) extracurricular program, consists of English club, debate club, and storytelling club, and iv) involves teacher training and teaching practice classes for santri. The planning carried out in this program aligns with the planning indicators, the organization is well-structured, the implementation follows the program accordingly, and the supervision complies with the established planning and standards.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis perubahan keterlibatan siswa sebelum dan sesudah penerapan model pembelajaran inovatif di kelas. Fokus utama penelitian ini adalah pada penerapan model-model pembelajaran yang berbasis pada pendekatan interaktif dan aplikatif, seperti Pembelajaran Berbasis Proyek (PBL), Kelas Terbalik (Flipped Classroom), dan Pembelajaran Kolaboratif. Metode yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah metode penelitian pustaka, dengan mengumpulkan dan menganalisis berbagai literatur terkait topik penerapan model pembelajaran inovatif dan dampaknya terhadap keterlibatan siswa. Analisis data keterlibatan siswa dilakukan dengan membandingkan indikator-indikator keterlibatan, seperti partisipasi dalam diskusi, interaksi sosial, motivasi belajar, dan keterlibatan dengan materi pembelajaran, sebelum dan sesudah penerapan model inovatif. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa penerapan model pembelajaran inovatif secara signifikan meningkatkan keterlibatan siswa, yang tercermin dalam peningkatan partisipasi, motivasi, dan kualitas hasil belajar mereka. Penelitian ini menyimpulkan bahwa penerapan model desain pembelajaran yang inovatif dapat menjadi solusi efektif dalam meningkatkan keterlibatan siswa dan mendorong pengalaman pembelajaran yang lebih interaktif dan bermakna

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis konsep kurikulum cinta dalam pendidikan Islam sebagai wujud pendidikan transformatif serta mengkaji dampaknya terhadap perspektif dan sikap peserta didik. Kurikulum cinta merupakan suatu pendekatan pedagogis yang menjadikan nilai-nilai kasih sayang, rahmah, dan mahabbah sebagai basis utama dalam proses pembelajaran. Dalam tradisi pendidikan Islam, cinta kepada Allah, Rasul, sesama manusia, dan alam semesta merupakan fondasi akhlak yang perlu diinternalisasikan secara sistematis. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode studi literatur dengan pendekatan analisis kualitatif terhadap sumber-sumber primer dan sekunder, mencakup teks Al-Qur'an, hadis, kitab klasik pendidikan Islam, serta kajian kontemporer tentang pendidikan transformatif. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa: (1) kurikulum cinta dalam pendidikan Islam memiliki landasan teologis dan filosofis yang kuat; (2) implementasi kurikulum cinta mampu membentuk perspektif peserta didik menjadi lebih humanis, inklusif, dan rahmatan lil 'alamin; (3) dampaknya terhadap sikap peserta didik meliputi peningkatan empati, toleransi, tanggung jawab sosial, dan ketahanan mental-spiritual. Penelitian ini merekomendasikan agar lembaga pendidikan Islam secara struktural memasukkan kurikulum cinta ke dalam rancangan pembelajaran sebagai strategi transformasi pendidikan yang menyeluruh.

Abstract

This article examines the Love Curriculum as a paradigm of Islamic education that positions rahmah, empathy, tolerance, and social responsibility as the core of the learning process. This discussion is relevant because contemporary Islamic education frequently encounters tension between cognitive achievement, administrative expectations, and the need to cultivate humane moral character. The study applies a qualitative approach through library research. The data were drawn from scholarly articles, books, and related documents concerning the Love Curriculum, humanistic Islamic education, pedagogical love, hidden curriculum, and two supplementary Google Books sources. The data were examined using thematic content analysis involving data reduction, thematic coding, conceptual synthesis, and the formulation of educational implications. The study highlights three principal findings. First, the Love Curriculum should not be reduced to a romanticized policy phrase, since it represents a theo-humanistic framework that integrates reason, conscience, and spirituality. Second, the value of love can be translated into educational practice through Panca Cinta, empathy, compassion, tolerance, justice, respect, cooperation, responsibility, and creativity. Third, harmony in Islamic education cannot rely solely on formal curriculum documents but must also be supported by the hidden curriculum through teacher exemplarity, a safe school or madrasah culture, dialogical learning, and measurable affective assessment. This article concludes that the Love Curriculum may become a transformative strategy for Islamic education when it is consistently reflected in learning objectives, content, methods, institutional culture, and assessment.
