Abstract

The drug is one of the most important part of the healing process, healthrestoration and also prevention of a disease. The preparation and administration of drugsshould be done accurately by nurses. JCHO data obtained also showed that 44,000 of the98,000 deaths that occur in hospital every year due to medical errors. Objective Todetermine what factors are associated with the application of the principle of the rightdrug at the hospital six Curup 2014. The method used is descriptive cross sectionalAnalytical approach. Research done in the area of obstetrics and children's hospitalsCurup on April 1 - April 14, 2014. This study use total sampling technique that is 35person. Data collection tool used was a questionnaire and observation sheet. Applicationof the principle of the right drug at the hospital six Curup majority of respondents 23(65.7%) applying the principle of "Six Right" exactly. There is no relationship betweenage, education, and knowledge of the proper application of the six principles ofmedicine. But, there is a relationship between length of employment with the properapplication of the six principles of medicine. It is expected that the hospitaladministration can oversee the implementation of the six principles right.

Abstract

Health education is one of the actions that can be performed in order toincrease knowledge about health in order to improve the health of particularly age adultswith hypertension. This study uses a quasi-experimental design. Samples 36 adulthoodwith random sampling. The results showed that health education is given a meaningfulimpact on patients' adherence to antihypertensive drugs in adulthood and family supportare factors that affect adherence adulthood in taking antihypertensive medication. Thisstudy is recommended to do health education in a sustainable manner through existingactivities in the community directly and indirectly.

Abstract

Sexual problems are most important problem in CRF patients undergoinghemodialysis. Feelings of shame and guilt for having sexual problems can cause a fearthat the problem will recur and eventually make a person avoid a sexual situation.Haemodialisa interview results in patients admitted in hospitals Curup decreased in termsof sexuality, quickly tired during intercourse, fatigue, and less passionate. This studyaimed to obtain sexual needs of patients with chronic renal failure undergoingHaemodialisa. This study uses qualitative research with phenomenological approach. Theresult showed that most informants are still sexual activity, four informants told declineand experiencing problems while two informants have no problems and all the informantscomplain quickly limp, tired and lackluster while undergoing sexual activity. 5 informantssaid there are problems since suffering a disease with chronic renal failure and oneinformant said that because of the age factor. This study is recommended to do healtheducation to couples, families and communities to always provide support to patients inorder to live life with optimism.

Abstract

Microteaching is a method of teaching practice to provise pre-service teachers in mastering basic teaching skills. The aim of this study was to find out the effectiveness of microteaching learning in improving teaching skill of pre-service Physics teachers at Khairun Ternate University. The method of this study was a qualitative descriptive to analyse the effectiveness of microteaching learning towards teaching skill of pre-service physics teachers. The sample of this study was 20 students of 2016’class. The instrument used was a rubric sheet for assessing teaching skills. The result of the study showed that the implementation of microteaching, the skills of opening and closing lessons, questioning skills, explaining skills, strengthening skills, classroom management skills, and small group discussion skills also individual skills were very good and those are effective in improving teaching skill of pre-service Physics teachers

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk membekali  kemampuan merancang Lembar Kerja Peserta Didik (LKPDk) calon guru yang dapat  meningkatkan Pedagogical Content Knowledge (PCK) dan metakognisi melalui  perkuliahan Perencanaan Pengajaran Kimia (PPK).  Penelitian  dirancang dalam 4 tahap menggunakan desain mixed method dengan model strategi embedded. Tahap sebelum intervensi dilaksanakan pada awal penelitian untuk memperoleh  perangkat instrumen penelitian sebagai prototipe model peningkatan PCK dan metakognisi melalui pembekalan  LKPDk sebagai model hipotetik 1.  Model hipotetik ini diperoleh  melalui kajian hasil penelitian Haryani dkk tahun 2013-2016, serta kajian berbagai hasil penelitian lain. Tahap intervensi diperoleh model hipotetik 2 dan divalidasi diawali dengan pretes, implementasi di kelas, wawancara, dan diakhiri postes. Tahap ketiga analisis data kualitatif dan kuantitatif, dan diakhiri tahap ke-4 interpretasi secara keseluruhan untuk mengambil kesimpulan sehingga diperoleh model yang sudah teruji.  Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa para mahasiswa berusaha mengintegrasikan aspek kosntruktivis melalui menganalisis materi dengan strategi tertentu, meskipun untuk materi berbeda perlu difasilitasi secara mendalam. Pedagogical Content Knowledge terbukti meningkat  yang dijaring melalui pengisian dokumen CoRe,  demikian pula kemampuan metakognisi calon guru juga meningkat.This study aims to equip the ability to design Student Work Sheets (LKPDk) prospective teachers who can improve Pedagogical Content Knowledge (PCK) and metacognition through lectures of Chemical Teaching Planning (KDP). The study was designed in 4 stages using mixed method design with embedded strategy model. The pre-intervention stage was carried out at the beginning of the study to obtain the instrument of research as a prototype of PCK enhancement model and metacognition through LKPDk as hypothetical model 1. This hypothetical model was obtained through the study of Haryani et al in 2013-2016, and the study of various other research results. The intervention stage obtained by hypothetical model 2 and validated begins with pretest, implementation in class, interview, and ending postes. The third stage of qualitative and quantitative data analysis, and ending the fourth phase of the overall interpretation to draw conclusions so as to obtain a tested model. The results showed that the students tried to integrate aspects of kosntruktivis through analyzing the material with a particular strategy, although for different materials need to be facilitated in depth. Pedagogical Content Knowledge has been proven to increase through the filling of CoRe documents, as well as the ability of prospective teacher metacognition also increases.

Abstract

The purpose of this study was to produce teaching material for human skeleton material in 5th grade class Elementary School Mahad Islam. The research used research and development models (R&D) with ten stages, i.e. (1) potential and problems, (2) data collection, (3) product design, (4) design validation, (5) design revisions, (6) product trials, (7) product revisions, (8) usage trials, (9) final products, (10) dissemination. Comic are declared valid by obtaining scores from media experts, namely 4.0 with good categories and obtaining scores from material experts, namely 3.91 including good categories. Comic are declared effective by obtaining a score of learning interest that is 86% including in the high category. N-Gain measurements show a result of 6.7 including medium category. Learning outcomes of students classical completeness has a percentage of 90.9% already above 80% requirement. Based on the results of the research, it can be concluded that the comic material with the material of human skeleton in science subjects is valid and effective so that it is suitable to be used as teaching material. In this study, comic teaching materials has the benefit that are creative, innovative and fun for students.

Abstract

The study was based on students' high motivation for gadgets but low in learning. The renewal of learning based on active, innovative, creative, efficient and fun learning (PAIKEM) that is the Flipped Classroom model and additional variables (motivation) is required to improve the process of critical thinking skills and student learning outcomes. The purpose of this study was to analyze the effectiveness and influence of the Flipped Classroom Model towards the ability to think critically and student science learning outcomes of students by increasing their motivation. The method used in this study was an experiment with the Control Group Post-test – Only Design. The sample comprised of 121 students from 4 elementary schools in Pati. The data collection consisted of performance tests to measure critical thinking skills and learning outcomes while questionnaires to measure student’s learning motivation. The data were analyzed using the average difference test and single line regression. The analysis result of the average difference test showed that Asymp. Sig. (2-tailed) of 0.000 and result of single line regression Asymp. Sig. (2-tailed) of 0.000 (sig < 0.05). The results in this study showed that Model Flipped Classroom learning is effective in improving the ability of critical thinking, science learning outcomes and student motivation, there is positive influence between learning motivation and critical thinking skills and student learning outcomes science.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the teacher's understanding of authentic assessment, analyze the process of applying authentic assessment, identify teacher problems in applying authentic assessments and the efforts of teachers and principals to address teacher problems in applying authentic judgments. The type of research is qualitative research and phenomenological research design. The subject from this study were grade IV teachers and the elementary school principals in Serang Subdistrict. Data collection techniques used are structured interview methods, observation, and documentation. The technique of checking the validity of the data uses source and method triangulation techniques. Data analysis techniques carried out during the study include data reduction, data presentation, and conclusions. The results showed that the teacher  understanding of authentic assessment was good but not maximal, the teacher used the assessment instrument in accordance with the guidelines in Curriculum 2013, the application of authentic Public Elementary School in Serang Subdistrict had gone well, but some things were still constrained, teacher problems in applying authentic assessment, teacher efforts are questioned and answer with colleagues, seeking information from other sources, following the data update  and workshops, training and training using computer. The principal's efforts are as follows: understanding the difficulties of the teacher, finding examples of appraisal applications, finding friends to explain, giving the assessment manual giving supervision to the teacher and giving evaluations to the teacher.

Abstract

The purpose of this study is to test the effectiveness of PjBL model by using Science KIT to improve students' confidence and problem-solving skills. This research is done by using a quasi-experimental design with a type of non-equivalent control group design. The research subjects were 50 fifth grade students from Elementary School 02 Krompeng and Elementary School 01 Kalirejo. Data on students’ self-confidence and problem-solving skills assessment are collected through observation and tests. Using N-Gain analysis and t-test. Research results show that there are different results in terms of self-confidence attitudes between groups of students who follow PjBL model with Science KIT and the other groups of students who follow PjBL learning model, obtained a value (tvalue = 37.12 > ttable  = 1.68), there are differences in learning outcomes as well, in terms of problem-solving skills between groups of students who follow PjBL learning model with Science KIT with groups of students who follow PjBL learning model, it is proven post-test result obtained in experimental class is 74.96 while in the control class is 60.72 (tvalue = 19.55 > ttable = 1.71). The results of this research are beneficial for teachers as an overview of condition self-confidence and problem-solving skills that can be taken into consideration in planning the lesson.

Abstract

The purpose of this study was to determine the effectiveness of the Two Stay Two Stray (TSTS) learning model using Number Pocket media on social studies subjects in grade IV Public Elementary School 01 Adipala, Cilacap. The method in this study was an experimental method with a sample of grade IV A as an experimental class and grade IV B as a control class. The sampling technique was applied in this study is research design was used pre-test – post-test control group design. The data collection techniques to determine the increased in the interest using the student learning interest is questionnaires, whereas, to measure the achievement of students using evaluation questions (pre-test – post-test). Based on the results of the hypothesis test, interest data and student achievement showed that 2.805 > 2.06, therefore, it can be said that there are differences in the interest and learning achievement between the control class and the experimental class. Based on the results of the student learning interest data showed that the significance value (0.000 < 0.05). Meanwhile, the results of the student achievement test hypothesis showed that the significance value (0.000 < 0.05). Based on these data, it can be concluded that the application of the TSTS model assisted with Number Pocket media is more effective on students' interest and learning achievement in social studies subjects in grade IV.
