Abstract

Abstrak ___________________________________________________________________ Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis PCK guru dan calon guru kimia serta implementasinya dalam pembelajaran pada materi Buffer. Subjek penelitian deskriptif adalah 2 calon guru Kimia yang mengontarak mata kuliah Perencanaan Pembelajaran Kimia (PPK), dan 2 guru kimia peserta kegiatan MGMP kota Semarang. Kemampuan PCK dianalisis dari hasil pengisian CoRe, serta keterkaitannya dengan RPP dan LKS. Implementasi PCK di kelas diobservasi melalui lesson study untuk guru, dan melalui peer dan micro teaching untuk calon guru. Hasil analisis CoRe menunjukkan bahwa gambaran PCK calon guru lebih runtut, detail, dan lebih lengkap dibandingkan guru. Mahasiswa calon guru lebih memperhatikan apersepsi dan aspek konstruktivis yang tampak LKS konstruktivis yang disusun. Baik guru maupun calon guru masih belum mencantumkan penurunan persamaan Buffer, sedangkan untuk mekanisme kerja Buffer hanya calon guru yang menuliskan baik dalam CoRe maupun LKS. Beberapa hal yang mulai dipertimbangkan guru maupun calon guru setelah pelatihan dan pembekalan PCK adalah dalam hal penulisan RPP dan LKS memikirkan apersepsi, materi prasyarat, keluasan dan kedalaman materi, dan strategi pembelajaran agar siswa mampu mengkonstruk pengetahuannya. Abstract ___________________________________________________________________ This study aimed to analyze the PCK chemistry teachers and prospective teachers and the implementation of learning in matter Buffer. Subjects are two prospective descriptive study Chemistry teacher who mengontarak subjects Chemistry Lesson Planning (KDP), and the second chemistry teacher MGMPs participants in the city of Semarang. PCK analyzed the ability of the results of the charging cores, as well as its association with RPP and LKS. Implementation of PCK in the classroom through lesson study observed for teachers, and through peer and micro teaching for prospective teachers. Core analysis results indicate that the picture PCK prospective teachers more coherent, detailed, and more complete than the teacher. Student teachers pay more attention apersepsi and constructivist aspects that seem LKS constructivist arranged. Both teachers and prospective teachers still have not included a decrease in Buffer equation, whereas for the working mechanism Buffer only prospective teachers who wrote in both the core and LKS. Some things that have been considered teachers and prospective teachers after the training and equipping PCK is in writing lesson plans and worksheets apersepsi thinking, material requirements, the breadth and depth of the material, and learning strategies so that students are able to construct knowledge.

Abstract

The purpose of this study to determine the influence of capital structure and profitability on the firm value. This research is a quantitative descriptive research with ratio analysis based on company financial statement. The research on Property and Real Estate sector on IDX by downloading financial statement for the period 2012-2016 through IDX website (www.idx.co.id). The research population is 50 companies and based on the purposive sampling method, the number of selected samples is 28 companies. The analysis technique used is path analysis using software AMOS 21.0. The results showed that: First, simultaneously the capital structure and profitability have a positive and significant effect on firm value; Second, partially capital structure and profitability have a positive and significant effect on firm value; Third, there is a negative correlation between capital structure and profitability in its effect on firm value.

Abstract

Pedagogical Content Knowledge (PCK) is an integration between content knowledge (CK) and pedagogical knowledge (PK) owned by teachers as a way to improve student learning and will develop over time and experience. PCK is not only emphasized on CK but with PK and balanced with teaching experience so that the knowledge and experience can be integrated. The purpose of this study was to analyze the ability of PK, CK, and PCK chemistry teachers at the Vocational School of Semarang. This research is a descriptive study to describe PCK chemistry teacher. The subjects of this study were chemistry teachers gathered in the MGMP Kimia SMK Semarang. The data are in the form of content and pedagogical knowledge test and TSPCK instruments. The PCK teacher's ability was obtained by analyzing the TSPCK instrument. Based on the analysis shows: (1) the teacher has a good PK value (76%); (2) the teacher has an score of CK very good (82%); and (3) the ability of PCK teachers, there are 2 teachers in the examplary category, 17 teachers in the developing category, and 3 teachers in the basic category. Teachers who have content or pedagogics knowledge or both are not guaranteed to produce effective learning.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the effectiveness of the Si-Lima Layang-layang (SiMaYang) type II learning model on Angiosperms material on understanding the macroscopic, microscopic, and symbolic levels. This study was a pretest-posttest multiple group design experiment. The effectiveness of the learning model was measured by the N-gain score of the angiosperm test. Hyphothesis was tested using Manova (Multivariate Analysis of Variance) with SPSS. The result of the analysis is the sig value. 0.010 < 0.05, which means that there is a significant difference in understanding the macroscopic level between the SiMaYang type II class and the Discovery Learning class. Sig value. 0.016 < 0.05, which means that there is a significant difference in understanding microscopic level between the SiMaYang type II class and the Discovery Learning class. Sig value. 0.396 > 0.05, which means that no significant difference level of understanding the symbolic between the SiMaYang type II class and the Discovery Learning class. It can be concluded, SiMaYang type II is effective in improving understanding at the macroscopic and microscopic level, but not for the symbolic.

Abstract

Mathematical literacy is one of the abilities of students assessed by PISA studies in terms of formulating, applying, and interpreting mathematical problems in various contexts. This ability is believed to increase if students are given structured training to solve problems close to their daily lives. Structured training can be done with a project or expository approach and both have their own strengths in eliciting student self-efficacy. The study aimed to analyse students' mathematical literacy ability reviewed from their self-efficacy in Realistic Mathematics Education (RME) model both in project and expository approach. The research was a mixed methods study with sequential explanatory design. There were 60 students, selected by simple random sampling, equally distributed in the experimental class with project based learning and control class with expository based learning. Data of students’ mathematical literacy were collected by using tests and were triangulated with observational dan document data analysis. The results showed that the average mathematical literacy ability of the experimental class is better than that of the control class. The mathematical literacy were influenced by students’ self-efficacy variables of 53.5%. The effect of self-efficacy on mathematical literacy of the way students solve problems was discussed.

Abstract

Research is based on the mastery of problem solving abilities is still low and the teaching materials used in learning lack training and develop students' problem-solving abilities. This study aims to develop a module based on problem-based learning and contains multiple levels of representation in the solubility material and its solubility product which is feasible and to determine the improvement of students' good problem solving abilities. The research method used is research and development (Research and Development) and the learning modules are arranged according to PBL. Data were collected through expert validation sheets, tests and questionnaires. The results of the validation of the material experts, linguists and media experts respectively showed very good results with an assessment percentage of 93.98%, 86.03% and 88.39%. The results of module trials by students through questionnaires received very good feasibility assessments with a percentage of 78.89% and the results of module trials by teachers got very good assessments with a percentage of 96.83%. The results of the application of problem-based learning modules obtained data in the form of pretest-posttest values which were tested using the n-gain test. The n-gain test results obtained a value of 0.56 in the medium category. The results of this test indicate that there has been an increase in the problem-solving abilities of students after using the module. Based on the results obtained, it can be concluded that the PBL-based chemistry learning module on the solubility material and the solubility product developed is very effective and suitable for use in chemistry learning processes in schools.

Abstract

Chemistry subjects as the basis of expertise are not placed by the needs of vocational subjects in every skill competency in vocational high school. The need for chemical materials in vocational high school for each skill competency is not the same for different skill competencies. Therefore, a vocational context integrated e-module design is needed to support chemistry learning activities and students for independent learning. The quality of teaching materials is measured by validity criteria, effectiveness, and practicality if teaching materials are used in the learning process. The development model used in this research is the 4D model (define, design, development, and dissemination). The data analysis technique uses qualitative and quantitative tests. Product development validation was carried out by media expert validators and chemical material experts, while the trial was conducted by 36 students of class X TKJ 2. The results of the analysis from the validator stated that the quality of learning material was in a very good category with a mean of 3.70 of material experts and 3.68 of media experts. The effectiveness of the e-module is shown by the increase in critical thinking skills of students with the achievement of N-gain of 0.57 in the medium category and classical completeness by 86.12%. The response of students to the practicality of using the e-module shows a result of 77.78% which belongs to the very good category and 22.22% which belongs to the good category. Based on the results obtained, it can be concluded that the student's worksheet developed to meet the criteria of valid, effective, practical, and can improve critical thinking skills.

Abstract

Metakognisi merupakan salah satu keterampilan dasar pembelajaran mandiri untuk mempersiapkan pendidikan abad 21 yang diwujudkan melalui Kurikulum 2013. Penelitian ini bertujuan mengembangkan produk instrumen tes pengukuran untuk mengetahui profil metakognisi peserta didik materi asam basa. Metode penelitian mengadaptasi model 4DThiagarajan yang dilakukan hanya sampai tahap 3D, yaitu define, design, development. Mahasiswa jurusan kimia UNNES sebanyak 10 orang sebagai subyek penelitian uji pendahuluan dan peserta didik SMA N 9 Semarang sebanyak 30 orang pada uji coba skala kecil & 60 orang pada uji coba skala besar. Penelitian dilakukan pada bulan Januari - Februari. Teknik analisis data profil metakognisi diperoleh dari analisis hasil jawaban peserta didik dan wawancara. Pengukuran reliabilitas instrumen menggunakan reliabilitas skor komposit koefisien alpha strata, dan diperoleh koefisien reliabilitas instrumen tes sebesar 0,917. Validitas instrumen tes melalui penilaian pakar dan didapatkan skor 34 dari total skor 40 sehingga dinyatakan valid. Hasil penelitian ketercapaian profil metakognisi paling tinggi pada kategori sedang yaitu 31 peserta didik dengan 49% sedangkan proporsi indikator paling tinggi pada level indikator mengembangkan pengenalan strategi berpikir dan merefleksi prosedur secara evaluative sebesar 24%. Simpulan dari penelitian ini adalah didapatkan produk pengembangan instrumen tes yang dinyatakan valid dan reliabel serta mampu mengukur profil metakognisi peserta didik dengan baik.

Abstract

Problem solving is one of the abilities that students must master. In fact, the mastery of this ability is still low and the teaching material used in learning lacks training of students' problem solving abilities. Therefore, this study aims to analyze the feasibility discovery learning-based worksheet to improve students' problem solving abilities. The type of research used is Research and Development with a 4D model modified to 3D (define, design, development). The study was conducted at SMA N 1 Rembang with the subjects of class XII MIPA 5, XI MIPA 7 and XI MIPA 8. Data collection using expert validation sheets, readability questionnaires and response questionnaires. The results of expert validation gave very good responses with an average score of material experts at 3,38 and media experts at 3,6. The results of the analysis of the questionnaire responses of students gave good responses with an average score of 49,95. Overall, the research results show that the discovery learning-based worksheet to improve student's problem solving abilities is feasible to be used in chemistry learning of salt hydrolysis material.

Abstract

Ilmu kimia mempelajari konsep yang kompleks dan abstrak sehingga tidak mudah dipahami oleh siswa dan seringkali tidak dapat menyelaraskan pengetahuan awal dengan pengetahuan barunya. Hal ini dapat dapat menyebabkan terjadinya miskonsepsi pada siswa sehingga harus segera diidentifikasi supaya dapat segera diatasi. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis profil miskonsepsi yang dialami oleh siswa kelas XI di SMA Negeri 12 Semarang terhadap materi asam basa dan menganalisis faktor penyebab miskonsepsi siswa pada materi asam basa. Profil miskonsepsi pada materi asam basa dapat dianalisis menggunakan two-tier berbantuan CRI (Certainty of Response Index). Metode yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah mixed method yaitu kombinasi metode kuantitatif dan kualitatif, dimulai dari observasi, kajian literatur, menyusun kisi-kisi soal, penyusunan soal tes dan pedoman wawancara, validasi ahli, uji coba, analisis data, penyusunan soal dan angket di Google Form, tes diagnostik, wawancara, pengisian angket, dan analisis miskonsepsi. Hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan data uji coba instrumen tes valid dan reliabel. Hasil analisis miskonsepsi siswa materi asam basa secara keseluruhan 43,75%. Faktor penyebab terjadinya miskonsepsi siswa berasal dari prakonsepsi siswa, cara mengajar, sumber belajar, dan kemampuan siswa. Simpulan dalam penelitian ini adalah instrumen two-tier berbantuan CRI dapat digunakan untuk menganalisis miskonsepsi siswa pada materi asam basa.
