Tujuan pengabdian masyarakat ini adalah untuk memberikan pengajaran bahasa Inggris kepada para guru dengan menggunakan strategi pembelajaran tematik di yayasan pendidikan dan sosial Daarul Kirom Jl. Sanghiang Senopati Ahmad Kelurahan Jatiraden, Kecamatan Jatisampurna Kota Bekasi tahun 2015-2016. Metode penyuluhan kali ini menerapkan strategi pembelajaran tematik. Hasil pengabdian masyarakat menunjukkan bahwa penerapan model pembelajaran tematik dapat meningkatkan profesionalitas guru dan hasil belajar bahasa Inggris siswa. Adapun langkah-langkah penerapan strategi pembelajaran tematik sebagai berikut: Pada tahap pertama penyuluh mulai menerapkan model pembelajaran tematik dengan tema ”kehidupan sehari-hari” dan menggunakan variasi metode, seperti simulasi, tanya jawab, penugasan dan games. Pada tahap selanjutnya dilanjutkan dengan tema ”lingkungan” dengan pemberian reward untuk meningkatkan motivasi guru dalam melakukan aktivitas peningkatan kemampuan mengajar. Proses pembelajaran dan aktifitas mengajar guru diamati oleh penyuluh dan kepala sekolah menggunakan lembar observasi. Di akhir tahapan dilaksanakan tes untuk mengetahui tingkat pemahaman para guru terhadap materi yang telah disampaikan oleh penyuluh.

Title: The Performance of Niang House in the Tropical Highland of Manggarai District Niang home is one of the ten varieties of Traditional Architecture in East Nusa Tenggara Province located in the highlands of Manggarai district (800 - 1200 meters above sea level) with its peculiarities, namely the circular floor plan and a conical roof. Niang home is growth by people with all kinds of traditions and utilize a variety of local potentials such as materials, technology and knowledge. But local potentials such as the use of lightweight materials such problems occur in upland areas that tend to be cold because the thermal properties of lightweight material is loose and flowing out so that it can potentially create underheating and conditions affecting comfort conditions in buildings. This study aimed to evaluate the effect of house design of Niang in response to thermal conditions in the highlands and analyze the behaviour of the material of the design elements that affect the thermal performance of the house of Niang. The study was conducted by the method of observation and simulation with the help of software ARCHIPAK version 5.0. The final results of this study indicate that the design of Niang house can not provide adequate thermal comfort, especially at night until morning, where the condition of the buildings tend to underheating in considerable period of time. From the simulation can also be seen that the floor and the roof is the most critical element of the heat release.

This study used a quantitative approach involving 32 respondents from Gampong Pusong fishermen. The sampling technique was carried out using stratifi ed random sampling. This study is based on primary data in the form of a questionnaire collected from all respondents which aims to see the impact of Islamic financial literacy on religiosity and service accents on the use of Islamic fi nancial products. This is due to the privilege of Aceh province as a locomotive for sharia fi nance with the issuance of qonun no 11 of 2018 concerning Islamic finance. Methods of data analysis using Multiple Linear Regression analysis with F-test and T-test. Whereas for testing the instrument using the validity test, reliability test, and classical assumption test. The results of the study can be concluded that the regression model has been made to determine the area of rejection of the hypothesis. The rejection area is if F-count > F-table, namely 18.041> 2.71, then the decision H0 is rejected. Or it can be seen from the signifi cance value, namely if the p-value <α, (0.000 <0.05), then H0 is rejected. So that Islamic Financial Literacy (X1), Religiosity (X2), and Access Aff ordability (X3) together affect Product Use (Y) or the model that has been made is correct.

The study aims to look at the potential and barriers to non-cash payments in Langsa City. Using qualitative methods and the number of respondents as many as 6 people. The results of this study show that the city of Langsa has great potential in the application of non-cash payments along with the rapid increase of merchant development in the city of Langsa, and in the application has several obstacles including frequent network errors, lack of socialization about the use of digital transactions

Background: Barriers to breastfeeding occurred on postpartum mother after section caesarean due to postoperative pain can inhibit nerve posterior pituitary gland that produces the hormone oxytocin that plays a role in the process of lactation. Marmet technique is one safe way that can be done to stimulate the breast to produce more milk, whilst oxytocin massage is conducted along the vertebrae to costae fifth, sixth and an attempt to stimulate the hormones prolactin and oxytocin after delivery. Aims: The objective of this study was to analyze the effect of marmet and oxytocin massage combination in improving colostrum production. Methods: The population in this study was a postpartum mother after 2 hours delivery. A total of 18 postpartum mothers were involved, divided into 9 treatments and 9 controls. Observations included viewing data on time measurements and the amount of colostrum secreted through the breast of the post-partum mother (instrument = syringe and spoon) and for measuring the oxytocin massage of the researcher using the oxytocin massage guide. Result: The average time of postpartum mothers in the intervention groups to produce colostrum after Marmet and massage techniques combined oxytocin (treatment group) was of 5.86 hours whilst mothers who do not receive any treatment able to produce after 5.89 hours. Statistical test results in getting P value = 0939, p value ie p> α (0.05), indicating there is no effect of the combination of massage techniques Marmet and oxytocin on colostrum production among post section caesarea mothers. Conclusions: Providing education for mothers and families is needed in order to support the production of colostrum sooner after birth.

Abstract: Implementation of cross ventilation in highrise office building will face wind speed problem due to differences in elevation and system capabilities in creating wind distribution in the room. This paper examines the influence of apertures with configured distance on building facades against wind speed and wind flow distribution. It generated by using computational fluid dynamics. Performance of cross ventilation in hipotetical models were tested using calculation model k-e RNG. Enlarge the apertures dimension up to 40% window to wall ratio increase wind velocity in building without decrease wind distribution quality. Apertures with equal distance create good distribution of wind of up to 85% depth of building.Keyword: cross ventilation, tropical, cooling effect Abstrak: Implementasi ventilasi silang di gedung kantor bertingkat akan menghadapi masalah kecepatan angin karena perbedaan ketinggian dan kemampuan sistem dalam menciptakan distribusi angin di ruangan. Penelitian ini meneliti pengaruh celah dengan jarak yang dikonfigurasi pada fasad bangunan terhadap kecepatan angin dan distribusi aliran angin. Penelitian dilakukan dengan menggunakan software CFD (computatuonal Fluid Dynamics). Kinerja ventilasi silang dalam model hipotetis diuji menggunakan model perhitungan k-e RNG. Simulasi menunjukkan, memperbesar dimensi lubang hingga rasio jendela ke dinding 40% meningkatkan kecepatan angin di gedung tanpa menurunkan pemerataan distribusi angin. Lubang dengan jarak yang sama membuat distribusi angin yang baik hingga 85% kedalaman bangunan.Kata Kunci: ventilasi silang, tropis, efek pendinginan

Komunitas Honda Win Dewata merupakan komunitas pecinta motor Honda Win dimana komunitas ini sering mengikuti kegiatan yang merupakan undangan dari komunitas lain dan juga memiliki kegiatan internal terjadwal maupun kegiatan sosial. Dalam melakukan kegiatan bersama salah satu yang dianggap penting adalah identitas pakaian seragam terutama kaos. Dari seringnya harus membeli kaos maka tercetus keinginan belajar membuat kaos sendiri terutama belajar teknik sablonnya. Dalam prosesnya ada kendala terutama dalam membuat desain dan bagaimana belajar teknik sablon secara benar. Atas kerjasama komunitas dalam bentuk pengabdian masyarakat dengan STIMIK STIKOM Bali diadakan pelatihan usaha sablon manual yang meliputi kegiatan pembuatan desain kaos yang lebih menarik dan pelatihan menggunakan peralatan sablon seperti pembuatan screen, pengenalan pewarna sablon untuk kaos, perlakukan urutan pekerjaan sablon dan pengunaan meja sablon. Setelah terlaksananya pelatihan usaha sablon ini diharapkan anggota komunitas Honda Win Dewata dapat memanfaatkan keterampilan sablon ini untuk menunjang kegitan-kegiatan komunitas dan sekaligus bisa dimanfatkan sebagai peluang usaha yang bermanfaat ekonomis untuk anggota yang berminat.

Penyebaran Covid-19 di Indonesia yang semakin meluas dan memakan banyak korban. Salah satu upaya pemerintah untuk mengurangi penyebaran virus ini adalah membuat kebijakan bagi para pelajar di seluruh Indonesia untuk belajar di rumah tetapi pembelajaran tetap terus berjalan yakni dengan cara pengajar dan peserta didik menggunakan media daring atau online, pembelajaran tatap muka harus diubah menjadi pembelajaran online dan proses pembelajaran dilakukan dengan menggunakan Microsoft Office 365. Penelitian ini bertujuan mengetahui dampak apa yang terjadi dalam Pembelajaran Jarak Jauh pada masa Pandemi Covid-19 di SMK Muhammadiyah 1 Sukoharjo. Selain itu penelitian ini bermanfaat untuk mengetahui tanggapan dari para siswa SMK Muhammadiyah 1 Sukoahrjo dalam hal proses pengajaran yang diterapkan semenjak pandemi ini. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode penelitian kualitatif eksploratif dengan pendekatan perspektif. Hasil dari penelitian ini dapat diketahui banyak sekali dampak yang diperoleh baik teknis maupun guru mengetahui bahwa siswa kurang puas, siswa kurang puas dengan metode PJJ yang mereka gunakan saat ini, dan guru juga kurang puas dengan kemampuan guru menyampaikan materi ke siswa. Kata-kata Kunci: dampak pembelajaran jarak jauh, pembelajaran daring, covid-19.

Depletion of fossil fuel has gained attention to find an alternative of energy resources. The consumption of fossil fuel is increased gradually, raising many unfavourable challenges such as exploiting the unrenewable resources and causing environmental damages. This study aimed to produce clean energy derived from renewable resources. Glycerol as a by-product from biodiesel production from palm oil through esterification process. Conversion of glycerol to synthetis gas (syngas) which produced hydrogen as the main product is considered as a renewable-clean fuel. Glycerol has been successfully converted to syngas by Aqueous Phase Reforming (APR) process over solid base catalysts. Hydrotalcite which is a layered double hydroxide used as catalyst support was impregnated with various metal promoters such as Ni, Cu, Co, Zn, and Sn. Those catalysts were characterized by Brunauer-Emmett-Teller surface area analysis, Thermal Gravimetry Analysis, Fourier Transform Infrared Spectrometry and X-Ray Diffraction to investigate the properties and structure of the catalysts. Catalytic activity was evaluated in a continuous fixed- bed reactor to produce syngas through APR reaction. The gas products were analyzed by GC-TCD, resulting Cu/hydrotalcite catalyst produced hydrogen, 55.2% v/v.

Lignocellulosic biomass which are frond and empty fruit bunches (EFB) is second generation raw material for ethanol production. Lignocellulose usage is expected to create a green process. Utilization of lignocellulose materials into ethanol involved four main processes, i.e pretreatment, hydrolysis/sacharification, fermentation, distillation and dehydration ethanol that was product. This research aims to optimize hydrolysis process of EFB and frond by using sulfated zirconia catalyst characterized its physical and chemical properties as a solid acid catalyst. Catalytic hydrolysis process conducted at 160 DCfor 3 hours gave the highest TRS (Total Reducing Sugar) which is 17,51 % for EFB while for frondfor 2 hours which is 19,23 % .Keyword: Hydrolysis, solid acid catalyst, lignocellulose, frond, EFB, sulfated zirconia
