Abstract

In terms of quantity, the problem of water for agriculture, especially in dry land, is the incompatibility of water distribution between needs and supply according to time (temporal) and place (spatial). The agricultural sector is one of the mainstay sectors driving the economy of Konawe Regency, this can be seen in the area of ​​utilization of the agricultural sector carried out by the community increasing in 2009 reaching 37,442 ha and in 2010 reaching 42,114 ha. The construction of Embung in the Anggotoa watershed area is an alternative in handling the decrease in water discharge in the Konaweeha watershed. In the analysis of effective rainfall (Re) at 3 (three) rain gauge stations is 2.19 mm / day, and the mainstay discharge (R80) is 47 mm / daym using the Weibull Gumbel Method. The average debit of Anggotoa river (Q) is 0.93 m3 / sec or 930 l / sec. the maximum water demand during the tillage period is 1.64 l / sec / ha, the growth period is 1.37 lt / sec and at harvest time is 0.68 l / de / hat. The reservoir capacity of 16,136 m3 to meet the water needs of the entire area of ​​875 ha spread in 3 (three) villages: Analahumbuti Village, Anggotoa Village, Kukuluri Village and 125 ha will be developed in the Kec. Meluhu. Projected population of 2016 to 2026 (in the next ten years), the land / people needs of 0.66 ha will be 4,979 ha

Abstract

One of the chemical parameters in the requirements of clean water is water hardness. Hardness is a term used in water containing cations that cause hardness. Generally, hardness caused by the presence of metals or cations which have a valence of 2, such as Fe, Sr, Mn, Ca and Mg. The purpose of this research is to determine the effect of banana stem charcoal as an adsorbent in reducing water hardness. The process of charcoal banana stem adsorbent dried under the sun for one week, and in the oven at 110°C for 24 hours to reduce moisture and moisture content. Next, to remove volatile materials, the hydrolyzed sample was heated at 400°C to become charcoal with 30 minutes in the furnace after which it was sieved with 106 µm and 250 µm sieves and stored in a desiccator. From the results of the study, it found that the banana charcoal adsorption process can reduce the water hardness level to reach 43.56% for the contact time of about 240 minutes with the thickness of the charcoal used around 5 cm. Then from the t-test analysis showed a significant difference before and after using banana stem charcoal as an adsorbent medium. Banana stem charcoal can be an alternative to adsorbent media to reduce the level of water pollution in addition to other media that commonly used.

Abstract

Abstrak: Aktivitas rumah tangga tidak terlepas dari timbulan sampah yang dihasilkan, baik limbah cair maupun padat. Sampah organik rumah tangga merupakan salah satu dari jenis timbulan tersebut, yang apabila tidak diolah, dapat mencemari lingkungan sekitar. Kegiatan ini bertujuan untuk mengedukasi masyarakat terkait pengolahan sampah organik rumah tangga dengan menggunakan dekomposer. Pelaksanaan kegiatan ini mengunaakan metode sosialisasi terkait tentang pembuatan alat dekomposer sederhana, dan praktikum cara pemasangannya. Mitra pada kegiatan ini adalah Desa Mapanget, Kec. Talawaan, Kabupaten Minahasa Utara, dengan jumlah peserta sebanyak 20 orang, dan penanaman dekomposer dibagi di tiap-tiap Jaga (lingkungan) dengan total sebanyak 4 Jaga. Setelah dilakukan dekomposer dipasang, tim melakukan evaluasi terkait kondisi dekomposer tersebut dengan metode observasi. Setelah dilakukan kegiatan pengabmas, masyarakat telah memahami betapa bermanfaatnya sampah organik sebagai bahan yang dapat memperkaya unsur hara tanah, sehingga tanah di sekitar rumah merkea menjadi subur. Selain itu, masyarakat juga sudah 100% memahami cara membuat dekomposer sederhana yang dibuktikan dengan kemapuan merakit kembali alat, sehingga dekomposer tersebut dapat diperbanyak secara mandiri.Abstract: Household activities are inseparable from the waste generated, both liquid and solid waste. Household organic waste is one of these types of waste, which if not processed, can pollute the surrounding environment. This activity aims to educate the community regarding the processing of household organic waste using decomposers. The implementation of this activity uses a socialization method related to making a simple decomposer tool, and practicum on how to install it. The partner in this activity was Mapanget Village, Talawaan Sub-district, North Minahasa Regency, with a total of 20 participants, and the decomposer planting was divided in each Jaga (neighborhood) with a total of 4 Jaga. After the decomposers were installed, the team evaluated the condition of the decomposers using the observation method. After the community service activities, the community has understood how useful organic waste is as a material that can enrich soil nutrients, so that the soil around their homes becomes fertile. In addition, the community has also 100% understood how to make a simple decomposer as evidenced by the ability to reassemble the tool, so that the decomposer can be reproduced independently.

Abstract

Latar belakang: Kecacingan adalah infeksi yang bisa terjadi pada manusia karena infeksi parasit cacing dimana penularannya melalui telur maupun larvanya. Sayur lalapan adalah makanan pendamping yang biasanya dimakan oleh orang Indonesia, salah satu contohnya yaitu daun kemangi. Tujuan: Mengidentifikasi kontaminasi telur cacing STHs pada daun kemangi. Jenis studi yang dilaksanakan yaitu deskriptif.Metode: Sampel daun kemangi diambil pada 55 di Kecamatan Malalayang dan Kecamatan Paal Dua, Kota Manado, Provinsi Sulawesi Utara; setiap rumah makan dilakukan pengambilan sejumlah dua kali serta dilakukan pemeriksaan di selang waktu satu minggu. Dalam memeriksa telur cacing mempergunakan metode sedimentasi.Hasil: Hasil studi menunjukkan 11 rumah makan (20%) positif teridentifikasi telur cacing STHs dengan species Ascaris lumbricoidesKesimpulan: Ditemukan telur cacing STHs di lalapan kemangi di rumah makan K ecamatan Malalayang dan Kecamatan Paal Dua Kota Manado pada Kelurahan Kleak, Malalayang Dua, Malalayang Satu Timur, Winangun Dua, Perkamil, Malendeng, Ranomuut, Dendengan Dalam, Kairagi Weru, dan Paal Dua. Saran penelitian ini agar pedagang lebih memperhatikan kebersiahn tempat dan peralatan yang digunakan. Kata Kunci: Nematoda Usus; STHs; Kontaminasi; Kemangi.

Abstract

This study aims to critically explore the latent potentials and structural challenges inherent in the development of a creative economy grounded in coastal resource utilization in Bugis Village, Sape District, Bima Regency. Furthermore, it seeks to formulate an adaptive and sustainable development model designed to enhance local competitiveness. Anchored in a qualitative descriptive approach, this research captures the socio-economic dynamics and resource management strategies through triangulated data collection methods, including direct observation, in-depth interviews, and comprehensive document analysis. Research informants were purposively selected, encompassing village officials, fisheries entrepreneurs, and other key local stakeholders. Data analysis was conducted through a rigorous, multi-stage process involving data reduction, data display, and the drawing and verification of conclusions. Findings reveal that Bugis Village possesses a distinct comparative advantage in the fisheries sector, particularly through high-value commodities such as tuna, skipjack, mackerel, and Caulerpa seaweed. This potential is further bolstered by a strategic geographic location and the embedded local wisdom of traditional fishers in sustainably managing marine resources. Nevertheless, the advancement of the creative economy is impeded by multiple structural bottlenecks, including inadequate supporting infrastructure (e.g., cold storage facilities, post-harvest training), weak institutional coordination, and limited access to product innovation training and broader markets. The implications of these findings underscore the imperative to design a locally contextualized creative economy development model. Such a model should integrate institutional empowerment at the village level, continuous human resource capacity building, and collaborative multi-stakeholder engagement within a pentahelix framework. Key recommendations include the incorporation of a creative economy roadmap into village development planning and the establishment of a communication forum among economic actors to foster a synergistic, inclusive, and competitive creative economic ecosystem in coastal regions.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengidentifikasi dan menganalisis potensi pengembangan Desa Anggoro sebagai desa wisata berbasis alam dan budaya di Kecamatan Abuki, Kabupaten Konawe. Pendekatan yang digunakan adalah deskriptif kuantitatif dan spasial, dengan sistem skoring berbasis enam kriteria utama: keindahan alam, keunikan sumber daya, kegiatan wisata, kebersihan, kenyamanan, dan keamanan. Data dikumpulkan melalui observasi lapangan dan dokumentasi, serta dianalisis secara kuantitatif dan divisualisasikan dalam bentuk peta tematik menggunakan Sistem Informasi Geografis (SIG). Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa Desa Anggoro memiliki skor total 954, yang dikategorikan sebagai “sangat potensial” untuk dikembangkan sebagai desa wisata. Aspek kebersihan, kenyamanan, dan keamanan memperoleh skor tertinggi, mencerminkan kondisi lingkungan dan sosial yang terjaga. Secara teoritis, penelitian ini memperkuat integrasi antara metode analisis kuantitatif dan spasial dalam evaluasi wilayah berbasis potensi lokal. Secara praktis, hasil penelitian merekomendasikan penyusunan kebijakan zonasi wisata, penguatan infrastruktur ekowisata dan edukasi, serta pelibatan aktif masyarakat lokal dalam tata kelola desa wisata. Model ini dapat direplikasi pada wilayah perdesaan lain, khususnya di Indonesia Timur yang masih minim kajian akademik tentang pengembangan pariwisata berbasis komunitas.

Abstract

This study analyzes the effect of a video-assisted Problem-Based Instruction (PBI) model on students’ cognitive learning outcomes, while controlling for learning motivation as a covariate. It was motivated by the low academic performance of Grade XI of lathe machining engineering. A quasi-experimental design with a post-test-only control-group format was employed. The sample comprised 62 students, divided into an experimental group (n = 32), which received the video-assisted PBI treatment, and a control group (n = 30), which was taught via conventional methods. Data were collected through an objective achievement test and a learning-motivation questionnaire, and were analyzed using Analysis of Covariance (ANCOVA). The results indicated a significant difference in mean post-test scores between the two groups, with the experimental group achieving a higher mean score (M = 85.2) than the control group (M = 74.4). ANCOVA confirmed that the video-assisted PBI model had a statistically significant effect on learning outcomes (F(1, 59) = 26.268, p < 0.001), with a large effect size (partial η² = 0.308). Learning motivation also emerged as a significant covariate (F(1, 59) = 6.437, p = 0.014; partial η² = 0.098), indicating a moderate influence. These findings suggest that the video-assisted PBI model is effective in enhancing cognitive achievement, and that students’ motivation plays an important supporting role. Abstract

Intestinal parasitic infection is an infectious disease still found in tropical countries with inadequate implementation of Clean and Healthy Living Behavior (PHBS). Parasites that generally infect the intestines are soil-borne worms and protozoa. The worms that infect a lot are Soil Transmitted Helminths (STH), namely Ascaris lumbricoides, Trichuris trichiura, and Hookworm. Cryptosporidiosis is an infectious disease caused by infection with the protozoan Cryptosporidium sp. that causes watery diarrhea. Nutritional status is an important factor in the immune system. The purpose of this study was to identify STH and Cryptosporidium sp infections and link them with the application of PHBS and nutritional status in elementary school students in Wori District, North Minahasa Regency. This type of research is descriptive-analytic with a cross-sectional design. The sample amounted to 160 respondents from six elementary schools taken by purposive sampling. STH examination using the native method and Cryptosporidium sp examination using Zn modification staining, nutritional status measurement was carried out based on BMI / U. This study concluded that 100% of respondents were not infected with cryptosporidium sp parasites, 8% of respondents were infected with Soil-Transmitted Helminth and there was no relationship with nutritional status respondents where 87% of respondents have normal nutritional status, 5% undernourished, 6% well-nourished and 2% obese.

Abstract

Permasalahan pertama mitra di Jorong Padang Belimbing, Nagari Koto Sani, pada kelompok tani TU Baru sawah 14 Imang Jorong Padang Belimbing dan kelompok pemuda tani sawah 14 Imang adalah  mesin Huller/Rice Milling hanya ada di simpang AA. Hal ini sebagian masyarakat sangat jauh dalam penggilingan padi. Kedua, untuk membawa padi untuk penggilingan membutuhkan alat trasportasi dan penggilingan padi harus dilaksanakan beberapa karung padi sehingga menunggu jumlah yang banyak sehingga membutuhkan waktu lama. Mesin penggilingan padi ini belum tersedia di Sawah 14 Imang. Selain permasalahan dari belum tersedianya mesin penggiling padi di sawah 14, masyarakat belum berkembang berwirausaha. Tujuan dari kegiatan pengabdian kepada masyarakat adalah menyediakan mesin penggilingan padi. Dengan adanya mesin penggilingan padi, petani akan terbantu dalam menggiling padi untuk kebutuhan sehari hari. Selain di sediakan mesin penggiling padi juga dilakukan pelatihan usaha penggilingan padi pada kelompok tani TU Baru SW.14 Imang dan kelompok pemuda tani sawah 14 Imang. Pelatihan terdiri pengoperasian mesin, perawatan mesin dan pengelolaan hasil penggilingan. Degan adanya penggilingan padi dapat meningkatkan pendapatan kelompok tani. Pengembangan teknologi tepat guna adalah metode yang digunakan. Pelaksanaan kegiatan dilakukan dalam dua tahap, pertama, diskusi, pengumpulan data, dan dokumentasi bersama petani bagian padi dengan observasi. kedua, pengembangan mesin Huller/Rice Milling. Program utama luaran menghasilkan tercapainya tersediaan mesin Huller/Rice Milling. Meningkatnya taraf hidup masyaraka pada Jorong Padang Belimbing dan kelompok pemuda tani sawah 14 Imang Kecamatan X Koto Singkarak, Kabupaten Solok, Sumatera Barat. Menghasilkan peningkatan pengetahuan, dan wawasan tentang teknologi mesin Huller/Rice Milling.

Abstract

Tujuan pelaksanaan pengebadian kepada masyarakat ini adalah untuk meningkakan ekonomi masyarakat petani gambir melalui efesiensi waktu, biaya, dan tenaga yang dibutuhkan dalam pengolahan getah gambir. Inovasi yang ditawarkan berada pada proses pencetakan getah gambir. Permasalahan mendasar masyarakat pada proses ini berada pada waktu dan tenaga yang dibutuhkan dalam proses pencetakan getah sehingga harus membayar upah tenaga kerja untuk proses pencetakan. Metode yang digunakan dalam pengabdian ini dengan memberikan teori pengantar, demonstrasi, praktek dan aplikatifnya secara langsung. Hasil dari kegiatan ini adanya alat pencetak getah gambir dengan mekanisme impact yang menjadikan proses pencetakan lebih cepat, mudah dan efisien. Alat pencetak telah diserah terima dengan masyarakat petani gambir melalui pemerintah kenagarian.
