Abstract

Kamus Besar Bahasa Indonesia (KBBI) is a primary resource for data in research on determining word-meaning similarity in Indonesian. This study investigates the effectiveness of word embedding methods and the term frequency–inverse document frequency (TF-IDF) weighting technique in assessing the semantic similarity of synonym pairs. The objective is to measure the similarity of synonym word pairs listed in KBBI by applying cosine similarity, leveraging TF-IDF weighting, various word embedding models, and latent semantic analysis (LSA). The methodology involved data collection, followed by a text preprocessing stage consisting of case folding, stopword removal, stemming, and tokenization. The processed data were transformed into vector representations using word embedding models, including Word2Vec, fastText, GloVe, and sentence-bidirectional encoder representations from transformers (S-BERT), and TF-IDF. LSA was employed for dimensionality reduction of the vectors before similarity testing using cosine similarity, with final evaluation of the results. The findings revealed that fastText significantly improved the similarity scores between synonym pairs, achieving an average similarity score of 0.901 for 30 synonym pairs. Evaluation results indicated an accuracy of 0.88, a recall of 1.00, a precision of 0.81, and an F1 score of 0.90. These results suggest that fastText is more effective in enhancing the accuracy of synonym meaning similarity measurements. Future research is encouraged to expand the corpus and further explore the use of word embedding for semantic similarity tasks. This study contributes to the natural language processing advancement and provides a potential foundation for more accurate language-based applications that assess word meaning similarity in KBBI.

Abstract

Sistem Informasi Nilai Mahasiswa Berbasis Web dengan Layanan SMS Autoreply merupakan sistem penyampaian nilai untuk mahasiswa yang di implementasikan menggunakan pemrograman PHP dan MySQL. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk memudahkan dalam melakukan penginputan dan penyampaian nilai kepada mahasiswa sehingga tidak lagi berfokus kepada media manual (kertas) dan website saja untuk melihat nilai. Selain berbasis web, sistem informasi ini memiliki layanan sms autoreply untuk mempermudah akses informasi nilai secara cepat dan mudah. Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian pengembangan perangkat lunak (software development) dengan menggunakan model prototyping. Data penelitian diperoleh dengan observasi dan studi pustaka. Penelitian ini telah menghasilkan sebuah sistem informasi nilai yang dapat mempermudah pengguna untuk mendapatkan informasi nilai secara efektif dan efisien, bisa langsung di akses serta informasi dapat tersampaikan dengan baik. Hasil penelitian disimpulkan bahwa sistem informasi nilai mahasiswa berbasis web dengan layanan sms autoreply dapat membantu proses pengelolaan nilai sehingga memudahkan dalam melakukan penginputan nilai dan membantu dalam menyampaikan informasi nilai kepada mahasiswa sehingga proses penginputan dan penyampaian nilai menjadi lebih efisien.

Abstract

Unemployment and the competitiveness of human resources are the main challenges for Indonesia, compounded by the demographic bonus of 2030-2040. Industry 4.0 demands adaptive vocational education, focusing on multi-skills, psychomotor skills, and soft skills. Vocational high school graduates often lack mental readiness and soft skills, even though their hard skills are adequate. This research aims to determine the results of developing a soft skills model for Vocational High School teachers, to ascertain whether the developed Vocational High School soft skills model meets the criteria of validity, practicality, and effectiveness, and to understand students' responses to the developed soft skills-based model. This research uses a type of research and development with relevant locations and subjects, through a development procedure that includes needs analysis, model design, material development, program implementation, and model evaluation; the data collected includes both qualitative and quantitative data, using techniques such as interviews, observations, documentation, and questionnaires, which are analyzed using descriptive and inferential data analysis techniques to test the validity, practicality, and effectiveness of the developed product. The research results show that the developed soft skills model meets the criteria of being valid, practical, and effective, and received positive responses from the students. This emphasizes the importance of integrating soft skills into vocational education to enhance graduates' readiness to face the competitive job market in the era of Industry 4.0.

Abstract

This study aimed to develop and evaluate Augmented Reality (AR)-based simulation media to enhance the Computer and Network Engineering (TKJ) competency in Vocational High Schools (SMK). Employing a Research and Development (R&D) approach, the product was designed as an Android application that integrates interactive 3D models of networking devices, marker-based visualization, and guided configuration tutorials. The development process included needs analysis, design, systematic development, implementation, evaluation, and revision stages. Participants were TKJ teachers and Grade XI students from three SMKs in South Sulawesi, Indonesia. Data were collected through interviews, questionnaires, expert validation, and pre-test/post-test assessments. The results showed a validity score of 98.14% (very valid), practicality score of 97.09% (very practical), and effectiveness with an N-Gain of 0.97 (high). User responses recorded 85.88% positive feedback, indicating high engagement and perceived usefulness. The findings demonstrate that AR simulation media can effectively bridge the gap between theoretical instruction and practical skill development, especially in schools with limited physical resources. Its portability, ease of use, and alignment with vocational learning principles make it a promising solution for improving instructional quality and supporting the revitalization of vocational education.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengembangkan modul pembelajaran berbantuan aplikasi siumulasi cisco packet tracer pada mata pelajaran administrasi infrastruktur jaringan kelas XI Teknik Komputer dan Jaringan pada SMK. Jenis penelitian yang digunakan adalah penelitian dan pengembangan (Research and Development/ R&D). Prosedur pengembangan mengacu pada model ADDIE. Pengumpulan data menggunakan observasi, wawancara dan angket. Instrumen yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah angket dengan skala pengukuran yang digunakan adalah skala Likert. Teknik analis yang digunakan adalah Teknik analisis data kualitatif yaitu dapat diperoleh dari hasil wawancara dan data juga diperoleh dari hasil angket validator ahli media dan ahli materi pada bagian komentar atau sarannya dan Teknik analisis data kuantitatif adalah metode yang digunakan untuk mengolah dan menganalisis data numerik(angka)dengan menggunakan statistik dan perhitungan matematis. Hasil data kevalidan modul sebesar 83% oleh ahli media dan hasil 86% oleh ahli materi dengan kategori “sangat valid”. Hasil data kepraktisan diperoleh berdasarkan hasil angket siswa sebesar 85% dengan kategori “sangat praktis”. Hasil data keefektifan diperoleh berdasarkan hasil belajar siswa pada nilai pretest-posttest sebesar 75% dengan kategori “efektif” dan memperoleh peningkatan hasil belajar dengan rata-rata 0,64% pada kategori “sedang”. Hasil ini menunjukkan modul pembelajaran layak digunakan dan diimplementasikan pada mata pelajaran Administrasi Infrastruktur Jaringan kelas XI SMK Jurusan Teknik Komputer Dan Jaringan.

Abstract

Motor listrik tiga fasa banyak digunakan dalam berbagai industri, namun seringkali menghadapi risiko malfungsi yang dapat menyebabkan downtime yang merugikan serta biaya pemeliharaan yang tinggi. Masalah ini menjadi perhatian penting dalam upaya meningkatkan efisiensi operasional dan mengurangi kerugian akibat kerusakan yang tidak terdeteksi lebih awal. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengembangkan sistem peringatan dini (Early Warning System) berbasis mikrokontroler dan teknologi LoRa yang terintegrasi dengan SCADA (Supervisory Control and Data Acquisition) untuk mendeteksi malfungsi pada motor listrik tiga fasa. Sistem ini dirancang untuk memantau parameter kritis motor seperti tegangan, arus, suhu, dan kecepatan putaran (RPM) secara real-time. Data dari sensor dikirim melalui komunikasi LoRa ke base station untuk dianalisis dan mendeteksi anomali operasional yang berpotensi menyebabkan kerusakan. Integrasi dengan SCADA memungkinkan pemantauan visual dan otomatisasi peringatan dini terhadap kondisi kritis. Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah Research and Development (R&D), yang meliputi tahapan pengumpulan kebutuhan, desain, pembangunan prototipe, evaluasi, dan pengembangan. Hasil pengujian menunjukkan bahwa sistem ini mampu mendeteksi malfungsi dengan akurasi yang baik, dengan kesalahan pengukuran sensor arus, tegangan, suhu, dan RPM masing-masing sebesar 1,98%, 2,9%, 3,7%, dan 3,7%. Sistem ini efektif dalam mengurangi risiko downtime serta meningkatkan efisiensi pemeliharaan motor listrik tiga fasa.

Abstract

Program Pelatihan Penerapan Solar Cell (PKM) bertujuan untuk memberikan pemahaman mendalam tentang teknologi panel surya dan aplikasinya dalam kehidupan sehari-hari. Pelatihan ini mencakup berbagai aspek, mulai dari pemahaman dasar tentang konsep energi surya hingga teknik instalasi dan pemeliharaan panel surya. Peserta akan dibekali dengan pengetahuan praktis dan keterampilan yang diperlukan untuk merancang, menginstal, dan mengelola sistem panel surya yang efisien dan berkelanjutan. PKM ini bertujuan untuk memperluas pengetahuan tentang energi terbarukan dan mempromosikan penerapannya di masyarakat secara lebih luas. Dengan demikian, diharapkan bahwa pelatihan ini akan memberikan kontribusi positif terhadap upaya global dalam menghadapi tantangan perubahan iklim dan meningkatkan ketersediaan energi bersih.

Abstract

The purpose of this study is to determine the needs analysis, research design, relevance, practicality, and effectiveness of the digital education module. One type of applied research is research and development (R&D). The development process refers to the ADDIE model. Data will be collected through observation, interview, and questionnaire methods. During the initial phase of development, a needs analysis conducted based on observations and interviews with course instructors revealed that students with limited skills and time constraints were the group most affected by technology. The research design shows that the E-module was developed using Canva and FlippingBook applications. The results of the validity of the module's data showed a score of 95% for media experts and 97% for material experts, which was included in the category of very valid. The results of practical relevance data were obtained from a survey conducted on students, where 81.33% of respondents categorized the module as very practical. The results of the effectiveness data were determined based on the achievement of student learning outcomes, with the pre-test and post-test scores in the effective category with a score of 74.35 points and the average improvement in learning outcomes in the high category with a score of 0.74 points. Based on the results of this study, it can be concluded that this E-module is useful and can be implemented in the course "Knowledge and Maintenance of Sewing Tools" in the Diploma 3 (D3) Fashion Design Program, Faculty of Engineering, State University of Makassar

Abstract

The rapid growth of the education technology (edutech) sector demands the development of entrepreneurial skills among university students to foster innovation and address educational challenges. This study employed the 4D instructional design model—Define, Design, Develop, and Disseminate—by creating an online platform that features personalized learning paths, interactive modules, collaborative tools, and real-time analytics. This research design was employed with 100 university students specializing in education and technology. Over eight weeks, participants engaged with microlearning modules focused on key entrepreneurial concepts and collaborated on projects simulating real-world Edutech scenarios. The findings show that online microlearning models prioritize technological accessibility, quality content, engagement, and flexibility, which are in high demand. Microlearning with short modules and interactive videos improves comprehension and engagement. Task and Concept Analyses frame learning and deepen understanding of key concepts, enabling students to apply learning outcomes. The cyberlearning model used criterion-referenced exams, evaluation tools, and interactive media like short movies, infographics, and gamification to increase edutechpreneurship. A Wilcoxon Signed Rank Test analysis revealed a significant difference between pre-test and post-test scores (p-value < 0.05). The cyber learning model boosted students' Edutechpreneurship skills. Edutechpreneurship, which combines educational technology and entrepreneurship, improves online learning and promotes entrepreneurship. This model requires entrepreneurship education in online learning platforms. This research offers valuable insights into innovative educational practices that prepare students to lead and innovate in the evolving EdTech industry. The model is effective and relevant to augment depth, readability, and personalization for an optimal learning experience

Abstract

Papaya is a tropical fruit with high nutritional content and significant health benefits. Nutritional components such as sugars, vitamin C, and fibre are strongly influenced by ripeness level. Identifying these nutrients usually requires laboratory tests that are time-consuming and rely on sophisticated equipment. Previous studies have focused on classifying ripeness levels, yet none have specifically addressed the classification of nutritional content. This study proposes a classification system for papaya nutrition based on ripeness using digital image processing and artificial neural networks (ANN). The method consists of six stages: image acquisition, preprocessing, segmentation, morphology, feature extraction, and classification with a trained ANN model. Experiments were conducted to evaluate feature combinations, including colour and texture features. The combination of LAB colour features and texture features-contrast, correlation, energy, and homogeneity-produced the best results. Testing on 75 images achieved an average precision of 97.22%, recall of 96.67%, F1-Score of 96.80%, and accuracy of 97.33%, with an average computation time of 0.02 seconds per image. These findings indicate that the proposed method provides fast and highly accurate classification of papaya’s nutritional content, offering a practical alternative to laboratory testing. Nevertheless, the study is limited by the relatively small dataset and controlled acquisition environment. Future research should extend the dataset, incorporate deep learning approaches, and validate performance under real-world conditions to enhance robustness and generalization
