Abstract

The Qur'an is a source of knowledge and teachings revealed by Allah to his creation. In the Qur'an there are many benefits, such as inviting people to pay attention to the value of patience. There are still many cases that occur due to lack of patience. Researchers used the literature review method. The value of patience in question is being patient in facing other humans. Researchers use Ibn Kathir's interpretation. As a result, researchers found the value of patience as stated in Surah Al-Anfal: 65, Ar-Ra'du: 22, and An-Nahl: 42. In essence, Allah SWT commands His servants to get what they want both in this world and in the afterlife through prayer and patience

Abstract

Human rights, particularly the freedom to live without discrimination, stand as the bedrock for constructing a just society. Within the context of LGBT, research underscores the detrimental impact of discrimination on the mental well-being of LGBT individuals. Freedom of expression, particularly for LGBT activists, is deemed a fundamental democratic right, allowing them to voice their identities without the fear of discrimination. From an Islamic perspective, the prohibition of LGBT is rooted in the concept of human fitrah, where heterosexual relationships are perceived as a form blessed by Allah. This prohibition is seen as an effort to preserve the order established by the Creator, in line with Islamic moral norms and the maintenance of moral equilibrium in society. The narratives of the Prophets, notably the story of Prophet Lut, serve as warnings against homosexual behavior, with the prohibition of LGBT regarded as a preventative measure to avert social and moral disasters. Muslims are reminded of their duties and responsibilities in attaining life's objectives, guided by an understanding of Allah's teachings regarding sexual relationships. This study employs a literature review method, focusing on Islamic theories, concepts, and literature. Data sources include the Quran, Al-Azhar Commentary, and various Indonesian commentaries. Data analysis is executed through a qualitative descriptive method, utilizing triangulation as a data collection technique. Research findings indicate that LGBT reflects cultural diversity based on sexual and gender identities. In Indonesia, perspectives on LGBT vary, with some supporting with restrictions, while others find it taboo and condemnatory. Discrimination and violence against LGBT persist, particularly in employment, housing, education, and health. From an Islamic viewpoint, LGBT is considered a deviation from fitrah and Allah's command, with a rejection of homosexual behavior in Islam. Despite ongoing debates, research indicates that the existence of LGBT triggers complex health and social issues. A holistic approach is imperative to address the negative impacts of LGBT, encompassing educational, social, and mental health aspects.

Abstract

There is a lot of damage that occurs on earth, both on land and in the ocean, this has been explained in the Qur'an. As an ecosystem response to acts of damage committed by humans with the arrival of various natural disasters. There are about 800 verses that talk about the universe and the environment, and man is entrusted as a caliph with the task of maintaining and preserving the natural environment, so that there is a balance between nature and man. Natural Resources that are abundant in the bowels of the earth are intended for humans to meet their needs, so humans are forbidden to make damage. Damage from the natural environment will bring a negative impact on human life as a whole. Global Warming that occurs in some parts of the world is felt by the absence of seasonal regularity, and extreme seasons occur. Even though Allah has given the laws inherent in all creation, and the law works according to the Sunnatullah, but if it is damaged it will have a negative effect. This literary research will answer the impact of environmental damage on humans which has been explicitly explained by Allah through his words collected in the Qur'an. For this reason, the method of analysis used is interpretive comparative between interpretation kittabs. This study took several verses of the Qur'an about the destruction on earth with a mufassir scholar named Al Baidhawi in his book entitled Anwar Wa Al Tanzil Wa Asrar Al Ta'wil. The author takes the relevant verse and takes the essence of the discussion in the book. The findings of this study that environmental damage due to human actions has a multidimensional negative impact that is felt not only by the perpetrators of damage, but also felt by society in general. For this reason, solutions are offered, namely strengthening faith and piety implemented in life, being aware of the importance of the environment, and sustainable natural resource management.

Abstract

This research is motivated by a phenomenon that contrasts with the realization of the sakinah family in community life. The family is the smallest group in society consisting of husband, wife, and children. This is the principle of the formation of society. The majority of people assume that the factor of peace in family life is material, but many rich people do not get peace at home so there are often quarrels and discomfort. Problems that arise in the household can threaten the permanence of marriage and even lead to divorce. This arises due to the unfulfilled expectations of each partner as well as mental, social and spiritual unpreparedness. Furthermore, researchers examined the marriage verses in wahbah zuhayli's tafsir al Munir as a solution in realizing today's sakinah family. The hope is to find relevant and even solutive interpretations to deal with current problems. For the author, it is useful to add insight into mindsets, attitudes, and experiences as an effort to improve the quality of learning, by understanding the character of sakinah, mawaddah, wa rahmah in the family. The formulation of the problem in this study is (1) What is the Qur'anic view of the sakinah family? (2) What is the interpretation of the family verses sakinah, mawaddah, wa rahmah in wahbah zuhayli's tafsir al-Munir?  This research is a literature research that makes tafsir al Munir as the main source of research. This study used a descriptive-analytical approach. The method used is discriptive analysis, which explains interpretation to find out the results of interpretation and differences in the field of interpretation. Another analysis that uses the maudhu'i method is to discuss verses according to the appropriate theme by collecting and studying in depth various aspects related to asbab al-nuzul, mufradat and tafsir of these verses.

Abstract

The history of magic is closely related to the civilization of Prophet Solomon, as well as the two figures named harut and marut. As narrated in the Qur'an, in surah al-Baqarah verse 102. Many scholars and mufasir poured their knowledge to study this verse so as to produce various views on it. Magic is considered a mistake and forbidden thing, as in Islam itself magic is a form of shirk, brings evil, and invites the wrath of Allah Subhanahu wa Ta'ala. However, how can things that are so forbidden and considered wrong, can actually spread widely to various parts of the world. This paper tries to understand the history of magic and various worldviews on magic, to its practice that still exists in modern society. This research is descriptive qualitative research that seeks to describe magical phenomena ranging from their history to their influence on different civilizations. As a result of this research, Allah Subhanahu Wa Ta'ala refuted the accusations against Prophet Solomon for the use of magic through his word, surah al-Baqarah verse 102. While various interpretations of who the real figure of harut and marut is. Behind all that, magic requires something as a payment to achieve its goals, ranging from animals to even human lives. Viewed from any side, magic is present as a test. If used, the practice is only to satisfy man's pseudo-desires and bring destruction to man himself.

Abstract

This study aims to determine the resilience of calamity in the Qur'an. This research is a literature research that uses a qualitative approach. The analysis technique used is content analysis using the thematic method. The data of this research is taken from the verses of the Quran and assisted by interpretation sourced from the books of Tafsir. This study concluded that resilience to calamity in the Qur'an found three kinds: patience, repentance, and tawakkal. Patience is explained by the Qur'an in the story of Prophet Ayyub when he had a disaster in the form of illness. Repentance is defined by the Qur'an in the story of the prophet Adam when he received a disaster in the form of being lowered to the earth. Tawakkal is explained by the Qur'an in the story of the prophet Ibrahim when he was burned alive by King Namrud. These three values can be formulated and become one of the methods of spiritual resilience in the Qur'an.

Abstract

The aim of this research is to find out the meaning of the word qiradatan (ape) which is found in several verses in the Qur'an, whether this word contains the full meaning of ape or just its nature. Researchers examine the meaning of the word qiradatan using contemporary interpretations, namely the Quraish Shihab interpretation and the Wahbah Zuhaili interpretation. The method used in this research is a qualitative method which leads to an explanation of the descriptive analysis model, namely classifying the word "qirodatan" by describing it, then analyzing its implications. The approach applied in this research is a language and language approach, with data collection techniques through library research. The research carried out resulted in the conclusion that the word monkey has a deeper meaning than just an animal. The word monkey here shows the nature of this animal. The curse of being a monkey is because monkeys are animals that always reveal their private parts. The contrasting shape of their fur and skin means that the private parts of monkeys are very visible so that the monkeys here have no shame.
