Abstract

This research tries to reveal the policy of women empowerment in the field of politics by PKS Party in Padang city. This research is qualitative with Padang city’s PKS local legislative managers and female cadres as informants. The data were collected by interview, and then analyzed qualitatively. The results show that PKS in Padang city branch has implemented recruitment and regeneration policies that refer to the party’s Statutes and Bylaws, which is gender neutral, although in certain respects there are some considerations of the party structure to follow up the representation of women in the local parliament. Gender neutral means that PKS does not differentiate between female and male cadre empowerment. Keywords: women empowerment policy, Partai Keadilan Sejahtera, party’s bylaws ABSTRAK Penelitian ini ingin mengungkapkan bagaimana kebijakan pemberdayaan perempuan di bidang politik yang dilakukan oleh Partai Keadilan Sejahtera (PKS) Kota Padang. Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian kualitatif dengan informan penelitian adalah Pengurus DPD PKS Kota Padang dan kader perempuan PKS. Pengambilan data menggunakan wawancara, dan selanjutnya dianalisis secara kualitatif. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa PKS telah mengimplementasikan kebijakan rekrutmen dan kaderisasi yang mengacu kepada Anggaran Dasar dan Anggaran Rumah Tangga partai yang bersangkutan. Adapun kebijakan rekrutmen dan kaderisasi dari PKS netral gender, walaupun dalam hal-hal tertentu terdapat beberapa pertimbangan dari struktur partai untuk menindaklanjuti keterwakilan perempuan di parlemen daerah. Netral gender dimaksud bahwa PKS tidak membedakan pemberdayaan pada kader perempuan dan laki-laki. Abstract

Analisis kualitas air sungai dengan menggunakan bioindikator sangat penting dilakukan dengan menggunakan indeks yang tersedia guna memahami hubungannya dengan perubahan lingkungan. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk membandingkan efektivitas indeks BMWP ASPT dan indeks keanekaragaman EPT dalam mengevaluasi kualitas air Sungai Tangka, menganalisis kesesuaian dan keterkaitan hasil dari kedua indeks tersebut dan menyediakan data komprehensif tentang kualitas air berdasarkan kedua indeks. Pengambilan sampel dilakukan pada 5 stasiun dengan total 45 titik sampling di Sungai Tangka. Makroinvertebrata yang teridentifikasi dianalisis dengan menggunakan indeks BMWP ASPT dan indeks keanekaragaman makroinvertebrata untuk mengevaluasi kualitas air Sungai Tangka. Hasil kategorisasi kualitas air dari kedua indeks akan dibandingkan secara deskriptif untuk menilai kesesuaiannya dengan kondisi Sungai Tangka. Hasil analisis menunjukkan bahwa kualitas air Sungai Tangka masih sangat bersih dan tidak tercemar. Kedua indeks menunjukkan hasil yang konsisten dengan mayoritas stasiun diklasifikasikan dalam kategori sangat baik berdasarkan skor ASPT (>6) dan jumlah takson EPT (>7 famili). Namun, di stasiun 1 yang menujukkan nilai kelimpahan EPT terendah, skor ASPT tetap menunjukkan kualitas sangat baik yang mengindikasikan bahwa BMWP-ASPT lebih inklusif karena mempertimbangkan semua famili makroinvertebrata, sedangkan indeks EPT lebih sensitif hanya terhadap ordo tertentu.

Abstract

This study aims to examine the implementation of Village Fund allocations directed at supporting the food security program in Lempangang Village, from 2022 to 2025. This study also discusses the extent to which the program contributes to community welfare and its relationship to climate change issues. The study used a qualitative descriptive approach, with data collection techniques including in-depth interviews and questionnaires distributed to village government officials, program implementers, and beneficiaries in the community. The findings indicate that the allocation of Village Funds for food security has consistently met the minimum requirement of 20% annually. The implemented programs include seed procurement, irrigation system construction, fish farming in ponds, nutrition garden management, and chicken farming. These initiatives have had a positive impact in terms of increasing local food availability, meeting the nutritional needs of vulnerable groups (such as pregnant women and children at risk of stunting), and efficient use of village funds. Furthermore, this local potential-based food security approach is considered to have the potential to contribute to climate change mitigation efforts, including through more local and sustainable food consumption patterns. The research recommends the need for more flexible program planning, involving active community participation, and integrating environmental sustainability principles into the future management of the Food Security Fund.

Abstract

AbstrakDesa Rappang Barat, yang terletak di Kecamatan Mapilli, Kabupaten Polewali Mandar, merupakan wilayah dengan potensi peternakan yang cukup besar, terutama dalam pemeliharaan ternak sapi dan kambing. Berdasarkan hasil identifikasi bersama pihak desa, diketahui bahwa sebagian besar peternak masih memiliki pemahaman terbatas terkait manajemen kesehatan ternak, yang berisiko meningkatkan penyebaran penyakit, menurunkan produktivitas, serta berdampak negatif terhadap ketahanan pangan masyarakat. Untuk mengatasi permasalahan ini, pada 18 Januari 2025 telah dilaksanakan kegiatan sosialisasi di Aula Kantor Desa Rappang Barat yang diikuti oleh peternak setempat. Kegiatan ini bertujuan meningkatkan pemahaman mengenai jenis-jenis penyakit ternak dan upaya pencegahannya, dengan metode ceramah interaktif yang dilanjutkan sesi tanya jawab, sehingga peserta tidak hanya menerima informasi secara pasif, tetapi juga dapat menyampaikan permasalahan yang mereka hadapi secara langsung. Tujuan utama dari kegiatan ini adalah untuk meningkatkan wawasan dan pemahaman peternak terhadap manajemen kesehatan ternak sebagai bagian dari upaya peningkatan produktivitas dan ketahanan pangan. Hasil evaluasi menunjukkan bahwa terjadi peningkatan pemahaman peserta setelah mengikuti sosialisasi. Selain itu, peserta memberikan respon positif terhadap kegiatan ini, dan menganggap materi yang disampaikan sangat relevan dan aplikatif dalam praktik pemeliharaan ternak sehari-hari. Berdasarkan hasil tersebut, kegiatan sosialisasi ini dinilai efektif dan berhasil mencapai tujuannya, serta direkomendasikan untuk direplikasi di desa-desa lain dengan karakteristik serupa. Kata kunci: kesehatan ternak; pangan; penyakit ternak; rappang barat; sosialisai Abstract Rappang Barat Village, located in Mapilli Subdistrict, Polewali Mandar Regency, is an area with significant potential in livestock farming, particularly in the rearing of cattle and goats. However, identification conducted jointly with village officials revealed that most livestock farmers still have limited understanding of animal health management. A limited understanding of livestock management can elevate the risk of disease outbreaks, ultimately diminishing productivity and undermining community food security. To address this issue, a socialization activity was conducted to provide information on common livestock diseases and preventive measures. The event was held on January 18, 2025, at the Village Hall of Rappang Barat and involved local farmers as participants. The method used included an interactive lecture followed by a discussion session, allowing participants not only to receive information passively but also to raise the problems they face directly. The primary goal of this activity was to enhance the farmers’ knowledge and understanding of livestock health management as part of efforts to improve productivity and support food security. Evaluation findings revealed a notable enhancement in participants' comprehension after participating in the session. Moreover, participants responded positively to the activity, considering the material to be relevant and applicable in their daily livestock practices. Based on these outcomes, the socialization program was deemed effective in achieving its objectives and is recommended to be replicated in other villages with similar characteristics. Keywords: animal health; food security; livestock diseases; rappang barat; socialization

Abstract

Abstract: This study aims to analyze the effect of profitability and liquidity on dividend policy in multinational companies in the consumption sector listed on the Indonesia Stock Exchange (IDX), both partially and simultaneously. The sample of this study uses a purposive sampling technique for the period 2019 to 2023, consisting of 13 selected multinational companies in the consumption sector. The method used in this study is a quantitative research method with an explanatory approach. This study uses multiple linear regression analysis to test the effect of independent variables on the dependent variable. The multiple regression analysis uses SPSS 26. The results of the study indicate that Return On Assets (ROA) does not have a significant effect with a significance value of 0.729 on the dividend policy of multinational companies in the consumption sector listed on the IDX. Conversely, the Current Ratio (CR) does not have a significant effect on dividend policy with a significance value of 0.575. Simultaneously, the regression model tested shows that the F statistic value indicates that the correlation between the independent variables is not strong enough to explain the dependent variable or is not significant.Keywords: Profitability, liquidity, dividend policy

Abstract

This study aims to determine the effect of work life balance and burnout on the level of employee job satisfaction at PT. Columbus Cash & Credit Parepare branch. The variables in this study consist of independent variables, namely work life balance and burnout, and the dependent variable, namely job satisfaction. The research method uses a quantitative approach with multiple linear regression analysis. Data collection techniques in the form of observation, interviews, and questionnaires distributed to 30 respondents. This study uses SPSS software version 27 as proof of the hypothesis. The results of this study indicate that good work life balance has a significant effect on employee job satisfaction and bad burnout has a negative impact on job satisfaction.Keywords: work life balance, burnout, and job satisfaction.

Abstract

This study aims to determine the effect of Net Profit Margin and Total Asset Turnover on Return On Asset (profit performance) on food & beverage sub-sector manufacturing companies listed on the Indonesia Stock Exchange. This study uses secondary data in the form of financial report data for each company for the period 2019-2023. Sampling was carried out using a purposive sampling technique and 10 companies were obtained that met the predetermined criteria. The analysis technique used in this study is quantitative analysis which calculates data from financial reports then uses SPSS tools to test and analyze data with calculations to draw conclusions. Hypothesis testing is carried out to determine whether there is an influence between the two variables. The results of the study stated that Net Profit Margin has a partial effect on Return On Asset, Total Asset Turnover does not have a partial effect on Return On Asset and Net Profit Margin and Total Asset Turnover simultaneously affect Return On Asset.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the effect of profitability, measured by Return on Equity (ROE), and dividend policy, measured by Dividend Payout Ratio (DPR), on company value, measured by Price to Book Value (PBV), in the banking sector listed on the Indonesia Stock Exchange (IDX) for the period 2020–2024. This study also examines the partial and simultaneous effects of these two variables to provide a more comprehensive picture of the factors that determine company value. This study uses a quantitative approach with an associative research design. Secondary data were obtained from the annual financial reports of 15 banking companies listed on the IDX during the research period. Data analysis was performed using panel data regression with the assistance of EViews 2012 software. The statistical tests used included the t-test, F-test, and coefficient of determination (R²). The results showed that profitability (ROE) had a negative and significant effect on company value (PBV), while dividend policy (DPR) had a positive but insignificant effect. However, simultaneously ROE and DPR have a significant effect on PBV even though their contribution is relatively small. This finding indicates that investors pay more attention to profitability as the main indicator in assessing company performance, while dividend policy has not been fully able to influence market perception of the value of banking companies in Indonesia. The conclusion of this study is that profitability is an important factor in determining company value in the banking sector, while dividend policy still requires a stronger signal to influence investor perceptions. The results of this study have implications for company management in formulating effective dividend strategies and for investors in making more appropriate investment decisions in the capital market.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze and compare the financial performance of PT Bank Tabungan Negara (Persero) Tbk. (BTN) and PT Bank Danamon Indonesia Tbk. (Danamon) during the 2020–2024 period using the CAMEL method, which evaluates five key aspects of bank soundness: Capital (CAR), Asset Quality (KAP), Management (NPM), Earning (ROA and BOPO), and Liquidity (LDR). The research adopts a quantitative descriptive comparative approach, with BTN and Danamon as the research population. Secondary data were obtained from the annual financial reports of both banks published on the official Indonesia Stock Exchange (IDX) website for the 2020–2024 period. Data analysis involved calculating CAMEL ratios based on the Bank Indonesia assessment guidelines, along with hypothesis testing using the Independent Sample T-test and the non-parametric Mann-Whitney test through SPSS version 25 to determine whether significant statistical differences existed between the two banks. The findings reveal that the financial performance of BTN and Danamon consistently fell within the “Fairly Healthy” category throughout the observed period. Specifically, BTN demonstrated stronger performance in terms of capital adequacy (CAR), while Danamon showed better results in asset quality (KAP) and profitability (ROA). However, the overall results of the Mann-Whitney test yielded a significance value of 0.465, which is greater than the alpha level of 0.05. This indicates that there is no statistically significant difference between the overall financial performance of BTN and Danamon as measured by the CAMEL method. These results suggest that although the two banks exhibit strengths in different aspects, their overall financial health remains relatively comparable.

Abstract

Understanding customer behavior is a key element in creating an enjoyable shopping experience and maintaining customer satisfaction and loyalty. In the digital age, customers expect a seamless shopping experience both in physical stores and through online platforms. This study aims to analyze the influence of channel integration, service quality, and brand image on customer satisfaction and its implications for loyalty. The survey was conducted on 125 active Sephora customers in Jakarta who have made purchases through online and offline channels at least once a year. The results show that all three variables—channel integration, service, and brand image—have a significant effect on customer satisfaction levels. Satisfied customers are more likely to show loyalty through repeat purchases and recommendations to others. A consistent and convenient shopping experience across multiple channels is proven to strengthen the long-term relationship between customers and brands. These findings emphasize the importance of companies in designing marketing strategies that prioritize channel integration and quality service as the main foundation in building sustainable customer loyalty. This research makes a practical contribution to the development of retail business strategies based on customer experience, as well as a reference for companies in improving competitiveness through a holistic approach to customer satisfaction and loyalty.
