Abstract

The reliability of medical devices such as extraction forceps is vital for dental and oral care. Apart from having hygienic properties, the extraction forceps must be strong and resistant to corrosion. This study evaluates the effects of tempering temperature on the hardness and microstructure of a medical device’s material made from stainless-steel DIN 4021. In the experiments, a heat treatment process was carried out previously with a temperature of 1,050°C and a holding time of 20 minutes. A quenching process was conducted using a cooling channel that flowed with water at 10-20°C. After the heat treatment, the material was subjected to a tempering process with temperature variations of 200, 400, and 600°C. The research results indicated that the heat treatment process could increase the material’s hardness —the hardness of the raw material changed from 20 to 48.67 HRC with the heat treatment. The tempering parameters resulted in the highest hardness of 46.67 HRC at 200°C and the lowest value of 42.33 HRC at 600°C. Microstructure testing using optical microscopy showed that it produced ferrite, pearlite, and martensite structures. In contrast, the result of a microstructure testing using Scanning Electron Microscopy on the surface of the material is that the higher the tempering temperature, the greater the microstructures’ dimension.

Abstract

Tujuan penelitian ini menyajikan tentang pentingnya mengetahui keuntungan struktur organisasi matriks, dengan harapan dapat memetakan tujuan proyek yang jelas, penggunaan sumber daya yang efisien, informasi tak terbatas, dan pelatihan untuk manajer proyek. Struktur organisasi matriks lebih kompleks daripada struktur hierarki, tetapi memiliki banyak keuntungan. Metodologi atau Pendekatan yang digunakan dalam tulisan ini menggunakan metode atau pendekatan kepustakaan (library research), sedangkan pengumpulan data dilakukan dengan menelaah dan/atau mengekplorasi beberapa Jurnal, buku, dan dokumen-dokumen (baik yang berbentuk cetak maupun elektronik) serta sumber-sumber data dan atau informasi lainnya yang dianggap relevan dengan kajian. Temuan dalam kajian ini adalah terletak pada desain matriks yang menjadi pembeda utama dari desain struktur organisasi hierarki. Struktur organisasi matriks memiliki dua atau beberapa struktur pelaporan manajemen. Struktur ini adalah gabungan dari dua atau lebih struktur organisasi. Biasanya menggabungkan struktur fungsional (berbasis departemen) dengan struktur proyek (berbasis tim atau proyek). Desain organisasi matriks dapat memastikan kejelasan yang lebih mendalam tentang tujuan suatu proyek. Meskipun awalnya tampak membingungkan, anggota tim biasanya memiliki manajer utama untuk setiap departemen. Bedanya, dalam struktur matriks, anggota tim juga melapor kepada manajer proyek. Proyek sering kali membutuhkan pekerjaan dari anggota di sejumlah departemen seperti teknologi informasi, pemasaran, dan keuangan, dan maka oleh sebab itulah alasan setiap proyek sebaiknya memiliki manajer terpisah.

Abstract

Stunting, characterized by impaired growth and development in children under five, is a major health issue caused by chronic malnutrition and recurrent infections during the first 1000 days of life. Protein intake is crucial for the provision of essential amino acids necessary for optimal growth and immune function. This study aimed to analyze the effect of whey protein-based high-protein biscuits on short-chain fatty acids (SCFA) levels in stunted children. A quasi-experimental design with a pre-post test group was used. Thirty-six stunted children were divided into two groups: the intervention group received whey protein-based high-protein biscuits, while the control group received an equivalent protein source from eggs and tempeh. SCFA levels were measured before and after the intervention. Paired T-tests and Wilcoxon tests were used for statistical analysis. The study found that high-protein biscuits significantly increased SCFA levels (acetate, propionate, and butyrate) in the intervention group (p-value < 0.001). These findings suggest that high-protein biscuits can positively influence gut microbiota and overall health in stunted children. High-protein biscuits can effectively increase SCFA levels in stunted children, contributing to improved gut health. Future studies should explore the long-term effects and potential risks associated with this intervention

Abstract

Football is not only carried out as an ordinary sport, but the sporting achievement itself is an asset that can popularize a region or country. In the smooth running of sports activities, stadium facilities were established to support the success of playing soccer. During the rainy season, the match will be disrupted due to the fact that the football field has excessive water, which hinders the match. The system used today to control excessive water on the soccer field is by using an impregnation system. Therefore, a tool is needed that can help reduce excess water during heavy rains. So a prototype water control device was designed on a football field using a soil moisture sensor that can detect soil moisture, using a water pump assisted by a relay to reduce the presence of excess water, as well as using a servo to raise and lower the tools used to spray water and also suck up water. All of these design components are controlled by Arduino uno. This test process if the soil is in soil moisture < 45% then Arduino orders the tool to work because at that humidity the soil is dry. If the soil moisture is > 55%, the servo and also the relay are ordered to work because at that humidity the soil is wet

Abstract

Background: Family characteristics, food security, expenditure, and diversity are indirectly associated with children's nutritional status. Objectives: This study aimed to examine the differences between food security, expenditure, and diversity among children under five with and without concurrent wasting and stunting (WaSt) in Semarang City. Methods: This study utilized an observational analytic approach with cross-sectional design. Subject selection using a consecutive sampling method obtained 72 subjects consisting of 18 subjects in each group of normal, stunted, wasted, and concurrently wasted and stunted (WaSt). Structured questionnaires collected data on the characteristics of fathers, mothers, and families. Interviews were conducted using the Household Food Insecurity Access Scale (HFIAS), which was obtained to measure food security among families. In contrast, the Individual Dietary Diversity Score (IDDS) was used to obtain food diversity. Differences were analyzed using one-way ANOVA and the Kruskal-Wallis test. A confidence level of 95% was utilized, and the results were significant, with a p-value<0.05 Results: There were significant differences in age, maternal nutrition knowledge, family income, food security, food expenditure, and food diversity between children under five with and without WaSt (p-value=0.010; 0.002; 0.026; 0.001; <0.001; 0.021). Conclusion: The WaSt group has a different age composition, maternal nutritional knowledge, family income, food security, food expenditure, and food diversity from other groups.

Abstract

ABSTRACT Jaransari dance to cleanse the village of Lencoh, Sela, Boyolali is an art with a ritual function. There is a relationship between dance and local cultural customs. The research objective is to explore the art of dance with local cultural traditions.This research uses an anthropological approach to dance that is qualitative and descriptive. The methods used include observation, interviews, documentation, and literature.The result that the Jaransari dance desired to achieve is a folk dance performed in village cleansing ritual activities. Dance activities are closely related to the lifestyle of the community to deal with critical situations from the influence of the power of the village guardian spirits. Through the activities of the Jaransari dance, the community is considered to have fulfilled the wishes of the village's spirit, so that it will not interfere with community activities. After the cleansing ritual ceremony of the village, the community calmed down, worked hard and the harvest was bountiful.Key Words: jaransari, folk dance, ritual, village cleansing  ABSTRAKTari Jaransari dalam rangka  bersih desa Lencoh, Sela, Boyolali merupakan seni yang berfungsi ritual. Terdapat hubungan antara seni tari dengan adat budaya setempat. Tujuan penelitian adalah untuk menggali seni tari dengan adat budaya setempat.Penelitian menggunakan pendekatan antropologi tari yang bersifat desktiptif kualitatif.  Metode yang digunakan meliputi observasi, wawancara, dokumentasi dan kepustakaan. Hasil yang ingin dicapai tari Jaransari merupakan tari rakyat yang dipertunjukan pada kegiatan ritual bersih desa.  Kegiatan  tari  berkaitan erat dengan pola hidup masyarakat untuk menghadapi situasi gawat dari pengaruh kekuatan goib penunggu rokh desa.  Melalui kegiatan tari Jaransari masyarakat dianggap telah memenuhi keingginan penunggu rokh desa sehingga tidak mengganggu aktivitas masyarakat. Setelah upacara ritual bersih desa masyarakat menjadi tenang, giat bekerja dan panen melimpah.Kata Kunci: jaransari, tari rakyat, ritual,  bersih desa.

Abstract

The dance work Dewaruci is a new work inspired by Bima's attitude and character in wayang so that it is danced in the dashing male dance of the Surakarta style. The make-up and fashion design refer to the wayang orang characters in the Surakarta style. The purpose of the research entitled Dewaruci Dance Work is to describe the dashing Surakarta style dance used as offering dance at the Surakarta Indonesian Institute of the Arts (ISI) Anniversary ceremony in 2015. The research method of the Surakarta Style Dewaruci Dance Work is a type of qualitative research. Narrative data sources. Data analysis techniques use form and content. Data obtained from observation studies, interviews and documentation. The results of the research, the Dewaruci Dance Work is a themed group dance danced by seven dashing male dancers, as a symbol of the attitude and behavior of the academic community who have reached the age of 51. The gallant movements reflect valor, perseverance, honesty, firmness in studying and practice knowledge so that it is beneficial to society. The movement begins with offerings accompanied by Yogyan Pelog Nem Sieve.Keywords: dashing, dance, offerings, anniversary

Abstract

This article aims to analyze the debt audit procedures at PT ABC by public accounting firm Namira where this study discusses the procedures and preparation of third party debt audit work papers at PT ABC by KAP Namira. A company will need the help of a third party, namely an auditor to determine the effectiveness of internal controls and the fairness of the financial statements to be examined. With the help of auditors, evidence on the preparation of the company's financial statements can be examined and evaluated in order to improve the ability to manage funding sources for the sustainability of the company's activities and increase the confidence of users of the financial statements produced by the company. In this case the auditor must examine all the components of the company's financial statements, one of which is on the balance sheet there is an account that must be checked by the auditor, namely debt. The debt arises because the company cooperates with third parties to carry out production activities and borrow funds for the sustainability of the company. Debt itself is a liability component that greatly affects every transaction that occurs, because trade payables are company obligations that must be paid and there are nominal misstatements that are very material for the sustainability of a company. To prevent this from the debt balance, it is necessary to conduct an audit as well as an examination. Based on the final project that the author has compiled, it comes from the internship activities that have been carried out and knows the debt audit procedures implemented by KAP NAMIRA including evaluating internal control evaluations, making top schedules and supporting schedules to sending debt confirmations and also doing vouching.

Abstract

This study aims to determine the priority scale for families eligible to receive benefits from the Family Hope Program (PKH) using the Simple Additive Weighting (SAW) method. The primary issue addressed is the limited allocation of assistance, which necessitates an objective and transparent selection process to ensure that aid reaches the families most in need. This research aims to provide a decision support system-based solution to assist in the selection process.The research employs the SAW approach, which involves several key steps: collecting data on prospective beneficiary families, normalizing the data to standardize the criteria scale, assigning weights to each criterion according to its importance, and calculating the final scores to rank each family. The criteria used include the number of family members, the presence of young children, the educational level of family members, disability status, elderly status, and pregnancy, with weights determined based on policy. The results indicate that the SAW method effectively identifies the families most in need based on objectively calculated total scores. From the total data tested, 75% of families were categorized as "Eligible" to receive assistance based on total scores exceeding the threshold, while 25% were categorized as "Not Eligible."This study contributes to improving the accuracy and transparency of the PKH beneficiary selection process. The generated data can be adopted by local governments to optimize the distribution of social assistance, minimize potential errors, and enhance fairness in aid distribution to the community.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengevaluasi kualitas layanan administrasi bagi masyarakat dan mengukur kepuasan masyarakat terhadap layanan yang diberikan oleh staf di Kantor Desa Situsari, Kecamatan Cileungsi, Kabupaten Bogor. Dengan menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif dengan analisis deskriptif, data dikumpulkan melalui wawancara, observasi, dan dokumentasi. Analisis dilakukan dengan menggunakan model interaktif Miles & Huberman dan analisis kesenjangan berdasarkan dimensi SERVQUAL. Temuan penelitian ini mengungkapkan bahwa terdapat tantangan signifikan dalam kualitas layanan pada dimensi tangible, terutama terkait keterbatasan sumber daya fisik dan peralatan operasional yang kurang memadai. Selain itu, masih diperlukan peningkatan dalam hal kecepatan dan kemudahan layanan agar sesuai dengan harapan masyarakat. Disarankan adanya strategi perbaikan untuk meningkatkan pelayanan, pengembangan sumber daya manusia aparatur pemerintah, modernisasi sistem pemberian pelayanan, dan evaluasi pelayanan secara berkesinambungan. Penerapan strategi ini dimaksudkan untuk meningkatkan kualitas pelayanan pengelolaan kependudukan dan memenuhi harapan masyarakat setempat terhadap pelayanan pegawai di Desa Situsari.
