Abstract

The modern retail industry in Depok City is experiencing major challenges driven by shifting consumer behavior, rapid technological change, and the lasting effects of the COVID-19 pandemic. This study examines how Transformational Leadership (TL) and Perceived Organizational Support (POS) influence Organizational Citizenship Behavior (OCB), with Leader–Member Exchange (LMX) as a mediating variable. Using a quantitative survey of modern retail employees in Depok, the findings reveal that TL positively affects OCB, while POS influences OCB indirectly through LMX. These results highlight the importance of effective leadership and perceived support in fostering employees’ extra-role behavior within Indonesia’s retail sector. The study contributes practical insights for improving employee engagement and productivity in a post-pandemic retail environment.

Abstract

This study investigates the impact of Return on Equity (ROE), Equity Ratio (ER), and Asset Turnover Ratio (ATR) on Net Profit Margin (NPM) among telecommunication companies listed on the Indonesia Stock Exchange during 2018–2022. Employing a quantitative approach with panel data regression using the Random Effects Model and secondary data from company annual reports, the findings indicate that ROE exerts a positive but relatively weak influence on NPM, while ER demonstrates a positive relationship approaching significance. Conversely, ATR shows a significant negative effect, underscoring that asset efficiency contributes less to profitability in the capital-intensive telecommunications sector. The model achieves an adjusted R² of 0.874, suggesting strong explanatory power. Overall, the results emphasize that managerial strategies should prioritize optimizing equity utilization and maintaining a robust capital structure rather than relying on asset turnover efficiency. Despite being limited to five firms and secondary data, this research enriches sector-specific financial performance analysis and provides valuable insights for managers and policymakers. Future studies are encouraged to extend the model by incorporating factors such as technological innovation, market competition, and regulatory dynamics to capture a more comprehensive understanding of profitability determinants in the industry.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the influence of agility, cyberloafing behavior, and empowerment on organizational commitment, with work stress as a moderating variable among employees working in South Jakarta. A survey method was employed, distributing questionnaires to a number of employees selected through purposive sampling. The collected data was then analyzed using Structural Equation Modeling Partial Least Square (SEM PLS) method. The research findings indicate that: (1) agility does not show a significant effect on organizational commitment; (2) cyberloafing behavior has a significant influence on organizational commitment; (3) empowerment also demonstrates a significant effect on organizational commitment; (4) work stress does not moderate the relationship between agility and organizational commitment; (5) work stress does not moderate the relationship between cyberloafing behavior and organizational commitment; and (6) work stress does not moderate the relationship between empowerment and organizational commitment .

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the influence of distributive justice and procedural justice on organizational citizenship behavior (OCB) with perceived organizational support (POS) as a moderator variable in private school teachers in Gunung Putri District, Bogor Regency. This study uses a quantitative approach with a survey method of 229 respondents, which was analyzed using Partial Least Squares–Structural Equation Modeling (PLS-SEM) through SmartPLS 4. The results of the study show that distributive justice, procedural justice, and POS have a significant positive effect on OCB. Among the variables of organizational justice, procedural justice has the most dominant influence. Furthermore, POS has been proven to moderate the relationship between procedural justice and OCB, but it is not significant in moderating the relationship between distributive justice and OCB. These findings confirm that organizational support plays an important role in strengthening teachers' perceptions of procedural fairness, thereby encouraging them to behave beyond their formal roles. The novelty of this study lies in the placement of POS as a moderator variable in the relationship between organizational justice and OCB, especially in the private education sector in Indonesia, which has received less attention in the literature. Theoretically, this study expands the understanding of the conditional factors that affect OCB. Practically, the results provide direction for private school managers to create a fair and supportive organizational climate to increase the positive contribution of teachers.

Abstract

This study examines the impact of workload and work pressure on the intention of change with employee welfare as a moderation variable in the context of the Indonesian banking sector. Using data from 110 employees at BNI KCU Fatmawati and analyzed through the Partial Least Squares–Structural Equation Modeling (PLS-SEM) approach, the results revealed that workload (β = 0.542, p < 0.001) and work stress (β = 0.459, p < 0.001) significantly increased turnover intention. In contrast, employee well-being showed significant negative effects (β = -0.286, p < 0.001), suggesting that higher well-being reduced employee desire to leave the organization. In addition, employee well-being moderates the relationship between workload and work stress with turnover intentions, mitigating the negative effects of excessive demand. Theoretically, the study integrates the Job Demands-Resources (JD-R) and Conservation of Resources (COR) frameworks, highlighting employee well-being as a buffer mechanism that protects individuals from work-related stressors. These findings contribute a new perspective by showing that well-being is not only a result of human resource management practices but also a strategic factor that reduces withdrawal behavior. Practically, organizations must prioritize welfare-based HR policies to balance the demands of human performance and sustainability in the digital banking era.

Abstract

Risk management is a strategic instrument in public sector governance that plays an important role in supporting accountable and sustainable public financial management. This study aims to analyze the level of maturity of the implementation of risk management and its influence on public financial management at the Directorate General of Culture (now the Ministry of Culture of the Republic of Indonesia). The research approach uses an explanatory quantitative method with survey techniques, where data is collected from employees involved in financial management, program planning, and risk management. Data analysis was carried out using Structural Equation Modeling Partial Least Squares (SEM-PLS). The results of the study show that the implementation of risk management at the Directorate General of Culture is in the risk defined category, which indicates that risk management policies and guidelines have been available and communicated, but the implementation has not been fully integrated evenly across all work units. The risk register is still partially prepared, so risk management practices tend to be administrative and not optimal as a basis for strategic decision-making. Nevertheless, the results of empirical analysis show that the level of risk maturity has a positive and significant effect on public financial management, especially in strengthening financial accountability, the effectiveness of internal controls, and performance-based budget management. This research confirms that increasing risk maturity is an important prerequisite in strengthening public sector financial governance and management. These findings provide policy implications for the need to integrate risk management into the planning, budgeting, and performance evaluation cycles, strengthen the capacity of human resources, and utilize technology-based information systems to support more effective and sustainable risk management.

Abstract

Digital transformation poses significant challenges for the Indonesian manufacturing sector in the Industry 4.0 era, demanding human resource (HR) readiness in line with technology adoption. This study analyses HR readiness at PT XYZ, an instant cement manufacturing subsidiary of Major Corporate Group, as it navigates organisational digital transformation. Using a qualitative single-case study design, the population included all PT XYZ employees involved in digital transformation, with a purposive sampling of six key informants: the HR Manager, Production Manager, IT Manager, one Supervisor, and two Production Employees. The instruments consisted of semi-structured interview guidelines, limited observation protocols, and a documentation checklist, analysed through the Miles and Huberman interactive model with thematic techniques for pattern identification. The results indicate an overall positive HR readiness, characterised by a collective understanding of transformation as a change in mindset and culture, supported by inter-divisional collaboration that overcomes psychological resistance and technical obstacles through ongoing training and mentoring. However, generational gaps persist. In conclusion, despite successful adaptation through upskilling, companies need an inclusive strategy for sustainable competitiveness

Abstract

This study aims to examine the factors that affect profit management practices in 49 non-cyclical consumer sector companies listed on the Indonesia Stock Exchange during the 2021–2023 period. This research uses a quantitative approach by utilizing secondary data in the form of annual company reports. The analysis was carried out using the Fixed Effect Model (FEM) on the regression of panel data processed through STATA version 17 software. The results of testing and analysis show that financial distress has a negative effect on profit management, while leverage has a positive influence, while company size has no significant influence on profit management.
