Abstract

This research examines the impact of electronic word-of-mouth, Live Streaming, and Counterfeit Fashion Products, with Price acting as a moderator, on purchase decisions in Shopee e-commerce. The study employed SmartPLS SEM with 208 respondents. The findings reveal that Electronic Word of Mouth significantly positively influences purchase decisions by enhancing consumer trust and intentions. Counterfeit fashion products also positively impact purchase decisions, attracting consumers through affordable prices despite lower quality. Live streaming, as a promotional tool, significantly boosts purchase decisions by increasing consumer interest and trust through live demonstrations and real-time interactions. Price strengthens the relationship between interest in counterfeit fashion products and purchase decisions. These results highlight the crucial role of price, Electronic Word of Mouth, and live streaming in digital marketing strategies to drive purchase decisions in e-commerce.

Abstract

Supervision, both internal and external, plays a crucial role in organizational control in both public and private sectors. In the public sector, the Government Internal Supervisory Apparatus (APIP) includes Inspectorates of Ministries/Agencies, the Financial and Development Supervisory Agency (BPKP), and Inspectorates of Provinces/Districts/Cities, while external supervision is carried out by the Supreme Audit Agency of the Republic of Indonesia (BPK-RI). Over time, the concept of internal supervision has undergone significant transformation. The definition of internal audit now encompasses both assurance and consulting activities, aimed at adding value to the auditee organization. Internal auditors now act not only as error watchdogs but also as partners providing solutions to organizational issues. Achieving effective internal supervision and delivering tangible benefits requires internal auditors to provide value-added recommendations and integrate risk management as a key component. Additionally, fostering integrity between auditors and auditees is essential to dispel the negative stigma that internal auditors only bring bad news. Therefore, understanding the modern concept of the internal auditor's role is crucial for leaders, internal auditors, and all auditees. Effective implementation of risk management by auditees will assist internal auditors in establishing effective controls and operational oversight, thereby fostering a healthier and more efficient organizational environment

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the effect of capital structure (Debt-to-Equity Ratio/DER), business risk (Beta), and asset structure (Current Asset to Total Asset Ratio/CATA) on the financial performance (Return on Assets/ROA) of automotive companies listed on the Indonesia Stock Exchange during the 2019–2023 period. This research employs a quantitative approach utilizing secondary data. The population consists of all automotive companies listed on the Indonesia Stock Exchange from 2019 to 2023, with purposive sampling used to select the sample. The study applies Descriptive Statistical Analysis, Classical Assumption Tests, Multiple Linear Regression Analysis, t-test, F-test, and the Coefficient of Determination (R²). The results show that Beta and CATA have a positive and significant effect on the ROA of automotive companies in Indonesia, while DER does not have a significant effect. Simultaneously, the three independent variables (DER, Beta, and CATA) have a significant effect on ROA, with an Adjusted R² of 86.23%, reflecting the model's ability to explain the variability in financial performance. This study is original as it integrates the analysis of capital structure, business risk, and asset structure to provide a comprehensive assessment of financial performance in the automotive sector, while also updating the analysis period through 2023.

Abstract

This research uses the PRISMA 2020-based Systematic Literature Review (SLR) approach to analyze the role of Human Resources (HR) in building a marketing team that is responsive to global market changes. This research aims to explore how HR management can improve the ability of marketing teams to adapt quickly to market changes, as well as to identify the skills and competencies required by marketing team members. A literature search was conducted through databases such as Scopus, Web of Science, and ScienceDirect. The results show that HR strategies that integrate technologies such as Data-Driven Decision-Making and blockchain, as well as the development of adaptation skills and responsive leadership, are highly effective in enhancing the marketing team's ability to respond to global market dynamics. In addition, continuous training and the development of a flexible organizational culture play an important role in creating innovative and responsive marketing teams. Challenges such as inequality in technology adoption, international regulatory differences, and limitations of the research methodology still pose barriers to the practical application of these findings. This study suggests that future research should delve deeper into the influence of innovative technologies in HRM and strategies that can overcome real-world implementation challenges.

Abstract

The insurance industry operates in a highly competitive environment, where understanding customer loyalty is crucial for strategic business development. The Net Promoter Score (NPS) serves as a key performance indicator to gauge customer loyalty by measuring their likelihood to repurchase and recommend services. This study focuses on analyzing NPS implementation in Indonesian insurance companies to identify factors influencing customer loyalty and areas for improvement. The research objectives include evaluating the impact of customer experience, market segmentation, and loyalty-supporting factors on NPS scores. Data were collected through an NPS survey conducted from May to September 2023, targeting 1,195 valid respondents from 25 branches across Indonesia. The survey assessed customer perceptions across 13 product and service dimensions, including product diversity, claim process ease, and digital service support. Findings revealed an NPS score of 62.43, significantly higher than the industry average, indicating strong customer loyalty. Key strengths included certainty of benefits and clarity of service flow, while weaknesses were identified in digital service support and claim settlement speed. Segmentation analysis showed variations in loyalty by customer type, gender, age, and tenure. The study highlights the need for targeted improvements in digital services and claims processes, alongside better data distribution across branches. Implications suggest that insurers can enhance loyalty by addressing identified weaknesses and leveraging strengths in promotional campaigns. This research provides foundational insights into NPS effectiveness in Indonesia’s insurance sector, offering actionable recommendations for industry practitioners

Abstract

The quality of education is a crucial factor for the progress of the nation in forming a high-capacity and moral society. Pesantren, as boarding educational institutions in Indonesia, have more complex service demands than non-Islamic boarding schools because they manage formal and non-formal programs. Initial studies at Islamic Boarding School XYZ showed that there had been no improvement in services based on Voice of Customer. This study aims to maximize the quality of Islamic Boarding School XYZ services by focusing on the five dimensions of SERVQUAL (physical evidence, reliability, responsiveness, assurance, and empathy). Data collection was carried out through questionnaires distributed to students as respondents. Data analysis was carried out by implementing the SERVQUAL method to identify service gaps and Quality Function Deployment (QFD) to formulate action plans based on improvement priorities. The results of the study identified 19 service attributes that needed improvement. These improvement recommendations were compiled based on a comprehensive analysis using SERVQUAL and QFD, providing concrete guidance for XYZ Islamic Boarding School to effectively improve the quality of services based on the needs of students.
