Abstract

The purpose of this study was to develop a storybook containing Mathematics, Existence, Literacy, Engineering, Science, Art, Technology (MELESAT) to improve literacy skills among group B of early childhood education and to test the feasibility of designing a storybook containing MELESAT. This type of research is a Research and Development with Pretest - Posttest One Group Design, using the ADDIE model which includes five stages, namely Analysis, Design, Develop, Implementation, and Evaluate. Subjects are children aged 5-6 years, including group B early childhood education totally 20. The instrument used a validation questionnaire and literacy tests. Results of this research indicate that the validation of the material obtained 3.04 of 4, validation of book design obtained 2.55 of 4 and validation of the media obtained 2.89 of 4. The effectiveness based on giving pretest and posttest to students totaled 20 subjects. The results showed that the pre-test score of 57% was developing as expected, and 43% was starting to develop. Post-test scores showed 7.5% progressed beyond expectations, 87.5% progressed as expected, and 5% started to develop. Through the content, design, and use of MELESAT books, there is an increase of literacy skills of children aged 5-6 years including group B early childhood education.

Abstract

Curriculum is dynamic and it needed to change to adjust to the context and goals of the society, however it is also not always easy for teachers who implement the curriculum. This community service activity aims to help PAUD teachers, especially Kindergarten (TK) levels in understanding the existence of curriculum changes, namely the Kurikulum Merdeka so that teachers can understand, plan, and implement learning at the kindergarten level. The target of this community service (PKM) activity is 25 kindergarten teachers in Mojokerto City. The PKM design carried out were: socialization of the independent curriculum and training in preparing activity plans in learning in kindergarten. This community service uses the lecture, discussion, assignment, and simulation methods, this PKM is carried out both online and offline to provide experience in compiling and implementing learning in kindergarten. The results of this PKM can be seen from the results of the pre-test and post-test. Kindergarten teachers in the City of Mojokerto already have knowledge of the Independent Curriculum but not in its entirety. Based on the results of a questionnaire filled out by 25 kindergarten teachers in Mojokerto City, it was found that only 8.7% of institutions had used the Kurikulum Merdeka. 52.2% use a mixed curriculum (50% PAUD 2013 Curriculum and 50% Kurikulum Merdeka). As many as 39.1% still use the 2013 PAUD Curriculum, so it can be concluded from this PKM is the creation of the ability of kindergarten teachers in preparing, planning and implementing Kurikulum merdeka appropriately.

Abstract

Pendidikan jasmani berbasis kinestetik (neurokinesthetic) menjadi pilihan dalam pembelajaran di PAUD untuk menunjang kesiapan belajar. Neurokinestetik merupakan gerakan yang mengkombinasikan stimulasi proses asosiasi saraf otak guna mencapai kemampuan berpikir yang mendukung kesiapan belajar. Penelitian ini bertujuan menghasilkan model aktivitas gerak neurokinestetik untuk meningkatkan kesiapan belajar anak usia dini. Metode yang digunakan mengikuti desain ADDIE dengan subyek uji coba 4 anak dan 2 guru PAUD. Instrument menggunakan lembar angket ditujukan pada expert judgment dan guru PAUD untuk mengukur kelayakan produk. Data dianalisis secara deskriptif untuk mendapat masukan guna perbaikan produk. Hasil uji validitas dan uji coba pengguna menunjukkan produk layak diimplementasikan. Penelitian ini menghasilkan 24 model gerakan neurokinestetik beserta spesifikasi alatnya yang sesuai dengan  standar tingkat pencapaian perkembangan anak dan kurikulum 2013 PAUD pada aspek motorik kasar. Disimpulkan bahwa model aktivitas gerak ini layak diterapkan secara intensif untuk refensi kegiatan olah tubuh pada anak usia 5-6 tahun ke atas

Abstract

STEAM is a learning approach combining science, technology, engineering, arts/creativity, and mathematics. STEAM is not only a part of group studies, but also holistically integrates multiple approaches to solve problem. This research is a type of developmental research that aims to create a STEAM-based learning media for early childhood education through the ADDIE model. The data were collected from through one-group pretest-posttest design and analyzed according to the ADDIE developmental research technique. Participants of this research were young children aged 4-6 years who attended preschool and ECE teachers. The result shows that the developed media are proved to be valid in term of material and media feasibility. Moreover, it shows its practicality and effectiveness which comply with the standard use for early childhood education learning media; thus, it indicates that the developed media can be implemented as learning media for early childhood edu

Abstract

The use of the concept of independent learning in education provides great potential for the development of better education in Indonesia. The condition of Kindergartens in Prigen District is that only a few plan and implement literacy-based learning. So there needs to be a conscious effort to encourage and train PAUD teachers in Prigen District to be able to have the knowledge and skills in planning literacy-based learning as part of the implementation of independent learning. This community service activity is in the form of literacy-based learning preparation training as an implementation of the independent learning curriculum for kindergarten tutors in Prigen District. This training uses discussion, lecture and simulation methods. The data collection technique used is Engineering. The result obtained is that the teacher's ability to design literacy-based learning increases, as evidenced by the increase in pre-test to post-test scores.

Abstract

Daycare is a form of Institution in Early Childhood Education. Many daycare, especially in Lidah Wetan Subdistrict, does not yet have competent caregivers for children because the last education of most caregivers is high school, not graduates from the Early Childhood Education Study Program or people who already have certification from a baby sitter institution. This impacts the education and care provided to daycare, which tends to be disoriented, so it is necessary to carry out a training process for daycare care takers to provide knowledge about how to care for early childhood. Training for daycare caretakers is given to daycare caretakers in Lidah Wetan District. The methods implemented are discussion, lecture, simulation, evaluation. Data collection techniques to measure the pretest and posttest using a questionnaire via google form. The data analysis technique used the N-GAIN SCORE. The result of calculating the average difference between the posttest and pretest scores is 0.71, indicating a high category. The results of the calculation of the percentage n-gain score obtained an average value of 71.49, so it can be concluded that childcare training is proven to be effective in improving parenting skills for daycare caretakers in Lidah Wetan District, Surabaya. Abstract

Pendidikan yang diberikan kepada anak usia dini perlu ditanamkan tentang nilai-nilai Pancasila mengingat kondisi saat ini banyak sekali terjadi perilaku amoral yang ditunjukkan oleh orang dewasa bahkan anak. Untuk itu, penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengembangkan buku panduan PAUD Holistik Integratif (PAUD HI) berdimensi profil pelajar Pancasila menggunakan riset pengembangan. Pengembangan dalam penelitian ini menggunakan ADDIE meliputi Analysis-Design-Develop-Implement-Evaluate. Pengumpulan data menggunakan angket yang meliputi instrumen lembar validitas dan lembar kepraktisan. Analisis data menggunakan deskripsi kuantitatif dan kualitatif. Hasil penelitian dapat dipaparkan bahwa buku panduan PAUD HI dinyatakan layak dari validator dan buku panduan PAUD HI dinyatakan praktis karena dapat digunakan oleh guru dalam menunjang proses pembelajaran di kelas dan pengembangan kegiatan sekolah.

Abstract

The teacher's efforts in providing educational services in schools to introduce children's social and geographical environment can be made using project-based learning (Project Based Learn). This study aimed to determine the effectiveness of project-based learning in improving early children's skills in social and geographic environments. The research design used is a quasi-experimental design. The experimental group was not randomly selected, and the control group was separated into two sample groups. According to the hypothesis, the experiment produced substantial results. So that Ha is accepted, it can be concluded that project-based learning significantly influences the introduction of early childhood's social and geographical environment.

Abstract

Penelitian ini dilatar belakangi oleh pentingnya rasa cinta tanah air pada anak usia dini terhadap penyampaian materi tentang nilai pancasila. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menghasilkan sebuah produk berupa “MOKU” (Monopoli Negaraku) untuk mengenalkan cinta tanah air pada anak usia dini. Media “MOKU” (monopoli negaraku) ini ditujukan untuk anak berusia 5-6 tahun guna untuk memperkenalkan dan memiliki perilaku yang positif terhadap diri serta lingkungan (keluarga, sekolah, masyarakat, negara, dan dunia) serta rasa bangga sebagai anak Indonesia yang berlandaskan pancasila. Metode yang digunakan adalah metode penelitian dan pengembangan (Research and Development) dengan model ADDIE (Analyze, Design, Development, Implementation, and Evaluation). Subjek penelitian ini adalah anak usia 5-6 tahun yang berjumlah 9 anak . Penelitian dilakukan secara offline di salah satu TK Surabaya. Hasil uji validasi ahli materi dan uji validasi ahli media menunjukkan bahwa “MOKU” (Monopoli Negaraku) layak digunakan. Uji coba dilakukan pada anak usia 5-6 tahun menunjukkan bahwa media “MOKU” (Monopoli Negaraku) mempunyai kategori tinggi yang artinya layak digunakan pada saat pembelajaran berlangsung dengan tema tanah air. Media “MOKU” (monopoli negaraku) dapat mempermudah guru untuk menyampaikan materi dengan tema tanah air yang menyenangkan bagi anak dan menjadi ide untuk guru dalam pengembangan lebih lanjut dengan tema yang lainnya.

Abstract

Dalam mengenalkan konsep bilangan masih dominan menggunakan pembelajaran konvensional seperti anak diajak berhitung angka 1-10 dengan jari dan papan tulis. Pembelajaran konvensional disini guru mengajar sesuai dengan gaya belajar yang guru ingin mereka menggunakan strategi decte, guru menyebutkan jumlah angka dan anak menuliskan angka. Menggunakan media loose part dalam pembelajaran guru masih membatasi media loose part untuk kegiatan bermain dan belajarnya, secara tidak langsung guru tidak memfasilitasi minat anak padahal sebenarnya minat siswa sangat beragam. Berdasarkan teori Jerome S. Bruner, pembelajaran akan lebih berhasil jika dalam proses pembelajaran siswa diberi kesempatan untuk memanipulasi objek dengan menggunakan media pembelajaran. Melalui penggunaan media pembelajaran, siswa akan melihat keteraturan dan pola struktur secara langsung. Menurut teori piaget mengatakan bahwa faktor yang mempengaruhi kemampuan kognitif anak adalah minat dan kebebasan. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode penelitian kuantitatif. Penelitian ini menggunakan jenis penelitian Quasi Experimental design atau eksperimen quasi. Quasi eksperimen adalah teknik yang memiliki kelompok kontrol, tetapi tidak dapat mengontrol sepenuhnya variabel luar yang mempengaruhi proses eksperimen menggunakan design nonequivalent control group design pada nilai rata-rata kelas eksperimen postest 32,27 dan kelas kontrol 24,35 pada nilai signifikansi (2-tailed) 0,000 < 0,05 maka Ho ditolak dan Ha diterima sehingga terdapat perbedaan antara kelas eksperimen postest dan kelas kontrol. Sehingga dapat dikatakan bahwa terdapat pengaruh penggunaan media loose part berdiferensiasi terhadap kemampuan mengenal konsep bilangan.
