Abstract

Nyeri leher merupakan masalah Musculoskeletal Disorders (MSD’s) yang terjadi pada semua kalangan dan sangat mengganggu aktivitas sehari-hari. Kondisi neck pain sangat sering dikeluhkan pada seseorang yang mempunyai hipertensi. Hal ini dikarenakan adanya peningkatan tekanan pada dinding pembuluh darah yang berada disekitar leher, peningkatan tekanan vaskuler ke otak sehingga terdapat penekanan pada serabut otot leher. Hipertensi biasanya dialami oleh lansia, jadi bisa dikatakan sebagian besar lansia yang mempunyai hipertensi juga memiliki keluhan neck pain. Sehingga penting bagi masyarakat terutama lansia di posyandu Dewi Utari Kelurahan Banjararum untuk memahami tentang neck pain. Oleh karena itu perlu adanya peningkatan pengetahuan dan pemahaman pada komunitas posyandu lansia Dewi Utari Kelurahan Banjararum tentang neck pain meliputi pencegahan serta penanganannya. Metode yang digunakan dengan memberikan edukasi fisioterapi berupa promosi kesehatan tentang neck pain kepada peserta posyandu menggunakan leaflet sebagai media edukasi. Kegiatan penyuluhan dapat meningkatkan pengetahuan peserta tentang kasus neck pain.

Abstract

The contribution of women in fisheries at the Ayau Archipelago is vital, this evidence can be regarded in their important role in family. This study aims to examine the contribution of coastal women in improving family economics. The methods used are interviews and Focus Group Discussions (FGD). Our study revealed that their level education are mostly at elementary graduates. Our compiled data analysis listed that their low level graduation are shown in the following list: Meosbekwan Village 60%, Rutum 67%, Abidon 100% and Reni 88%. In addition, they are housewives and helping husband in the various role in order to have additional incomes by producing salted fish, dry sea cucumbers, and sea worms product. Finally, they performed a significant alternative income between IDR 3,000,000 and IDR 5,000,000.00 per month.

Abstract

Cellulosenanofibrils (CNF) is a new generation material that has high performance, good physics and medical properties and is a renewable material that has been developed from various sources using the acid hydrolysis method. CNF synthesis is generally obtained from logs that have a high amount of cellulose fiber. Cellulose nanofibrils (CNF) from arabica coffee skins have great potential to be developed as raw materials for medicines, which function as wound healing agents, surgical sutures, diet medicines, and skin softeners. CNF is produced from Arabica coffee skin through delignification, namely the removal of lignin and hemicellulose by extraction with alkali until -cellulose is obtained, then CNF is synthesized through hydrolysis using dilute acid. From the coffee skin extraction results, a high cellulose yield was obtained, reaching above 24.30% and crystallinity reaching 79.60%. Hydrolysis by 10%, 12% and 15% HCl with a reaction time of 2 hours, the respective crystallinity was 80.66; 79.06; and 77.69%.

Abstract

This research aims to analyze the influence of foreign debt, inflation, interest rates and foreign exchange reserves on economic growth in Indonesia. The data used in this research is secondary data obtained from the Central Statistics Agency (BPS) during the 1990-2022 time period totaling 33 data. The data analysis method in this research uses the ARDL model. The research results show that in the short term foreign debt in the current year has no influence on economic growth, however in the previous one year period and the previous two year period foreign debt had a positive and significant influence on economic growth. Meanwhile, in the long term, it shows that foreign debt has a negative and significant effect on economic growth. In the short term, inflation in the current year has a negative and significant influence on economic growth, however, in the previous one year period and the previous two year period, inflation has a positive and significant influence on economic growth. Meanwhile, in the long term, it shows that inflation has a negative and significant effect on economic growth. In the long term, interest rates have a positive and significant effect on economic growth. In the short term, foreign exchange reserves in the current year, the previous one year, two years and three years have a negative and significant influence on economic growth. Meanwhile, in the long term, it shows that foreign exchange reserves have a positive and significant effect on economic growth.

Abstract

This article examined gender in leadership which is still be a topic of discussion that attracts a lot of attention. Which aims to discuss women's leadership style, leadership effectiveness, relations of gender in leadership, the glass ceiling and labyrinth which is barriers in leadership for women, and the motive of removing gender barriers in leadership. This article used the literature review method, with references from several previous studies that raised similar topics. Based on the sources that have been collected, the results of this literature review revealed that gender is still a significant factor in leadership practice, especially in high levels of leadership dominated by men. In addition, research shows that there are differences in leadership styles between men and women. Men tend to attach importance to aspects of duty and authority, while women tend to use a participatory and relationship-building approach. Both of these leadership styles have their own advantages and disadvantages, and it is important to consider the context of the organization and the associated tasks.

Abstract

Indonesia merupakan salah satu negara penghasil kelapa sawit terbesar di dunia. Namun, keberhasilan ini juga menghasilkan tantangan berupa limbah biomassa, salah satunya adalah tandan kosong kelapa sawit. Desa Bangkal merupakan salah satu wilayah yang memiliki potensi akses terhadap limbah tandan kosong kelapa sawit dari perkebunan kelapa sawit di sekitarnya. Namun, penggunaan limbah ini di tingkat masyarakat masih sangat minim dan belum optimal sehingga potensi untuk meningkatkan kesejahteraan masyarakat melalui pengelolaan limbah ini belum dimanfaatkan secara maksimal. Akan tetapi Pupuk organik berbasis tandan kosong kelapa sawit mampu memperbaiki struktur tanah dan meningkatkan produksi tandan buah segar hingga 34% dibandingkan pemupukan standar. Pengabdian kepada masyarat ini bertujuan untuk memberikan pemahaman dan pelatihan kepada masyarakat mengenai pemanfaatan tandan kosong kelapa sawit sebagai bahan baku pupuk organik yang ramah lingkungan dan bernilai ekonomis, serta mendorong pengelolaan limbah kelapa sawit secara berkelanjutan melalui penyuluhan, pelatihan dan praktik, serta evaluasi pengetahuan dan keterampilan peserta dilakukan melalui kuesioner yang diisi sebelum dan sesudah kegiatan. Hasil kegiatan pengabdian kepada masyarakat menunjukkan bahwa pengetahuan dan keterampilan petani di Kelurahan Bangkal mengenai pembuatan pupuk organik dari limbah seperti tandan kosong kelapa sawit meningkat setelah pelatihan. Dengan adanya pelatihan ini diharapkan kedepannya para petani di Kelurahan Bangkal dapat secara mandiri mengolah limbah organik seperti limbah pertanian atau perkebunan menjadi pupuk organik. The Innovation of Processing Palm Oil Empty Fruit Bunches into Compost to Support Environmentally Friendly Agriculture in Bangkal Village, Cempaka District Abstract Indonesia is one of the largest palm oil producing countries in the world. However, this success also creates challenges in the form of biomass waste, one of which is empty oil palm bunches. Bangkal Village is one of the areas that has potential access to empty oil palm bunch waste from surrounding oil palm plantations. However, the use of this waste at the community level is still very minimal and not optimal so that the potential to improve community welfare through the management of this waste has not been utilized optimally. However, organic fertilizer based on empty oil palm bunches can improve soil structure and increase fresh fruit bunch production by up to 34% compared to standard fertilization. This community service aims to provide understanding and training to the community regarding the use of empty oil palm bunches as raw materials for organic fertilizers that are environmentally friendly and have economic value, as well as to encourage sustainable management of oil palm waste through counseling, training and practice, and evaluation of participant knowledge and skills is carried out through questionnaires filled out before and after the activity. The results of community service activities show that the knowledge and skills of farmers in Bangkal Village regarding the manufacture of organic fertilizers from waste such as empty oil palm bunches increased after training. With this training, it is hoped that in the future farmers in Bangkal Village will be able to independently process organic waste such as agricultural or plantation waste into organic fertilizer.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the exposure time of the Extremely Low Frequency 300 μT magnetic field on the electrical conductivity of the tempoyak fermentation process. The research method is the experimental method. The research sample was divided into two groups, namely the control group which was not exposed to magnetic fields and the experimental group, namely the group that was given exposure to the Extremely Low Frequency 300 μT magnetic field with a time of 20, 40, and 60 minutes. The data obtained were analyzed by the F test, if the exposure time of the Extremely Low Frequency 300 μT magnetic field had a significant effect, then continued with the BNT test. The results showed that the electrical conductivity value in the experimental group was higher than the control group. The value of electrical conductivity in the control group is 1147 μS/cm, the value of electrical conductivity at 20 minutes exposure is 1156 μS/cm-1268 μS/cm, 40 minutes exposure is 1177 μS/cm 1275 μS/cm, and 60 minutes exposure is 1187 μS/cm-1331 μS/cm. The longer the exposure time to the 300 μT Extremely Low Frequency magnetic field, the higher the tempoyak electrical conductivity value. From the F test that has been carried out, it is found that the exposure time of the Extremely Low Frequency magnetic field significantly affects the value of the tempoyak electrical conductivity (FCount = 26,839 > FTabel = 4,76) with a significant 5%.

Abstract

Climate change has become one of the main challenges for the fisheries sector, especially for traditional fishermen such as handline fishermen in the city of Sorong, Southwest Papua. The phenomenon of rising sea temperatures, high waves, and seasonal uncertainty has led to a decrease in fishing days and a decline in catch yields, which directly affects the income of fishermen. This research aims to analyze the impact of climate change on the income of handline fishermen at the Fish Landing Base (PPI) Kaligi, Jembatan Puri. This research uses a descriptive quantitative approach with a survey method on handline fishermen. Primary data were collected through interviews and questionnaires, while secondary data were obtained from BMKG and the Department of Maritime Affairs and Fisheries. Data analysis was conducted using multiple linear regression to measure the influence of sea temperature (x1) and wave height (x2) on fishermen's income (y). The research results show that sea wave height has a negative and significant impact on fishermen's income, while sea temperature has a positive but not significant impact. The R-squared value of 0.582 indicates that 58.2% of the variation in fishermen's income is influenced by temperature and wave height. These results highlight the importance of adapting to climate change through the provision of weather information, climate literacy training, and the diversification of fishermen's livelihoods to enhance the economic resilience of coastal communities.

Abstract

Kombucha is a fermented beverage known for its various health benefits, including antibacterial activity. This study aims to evaluate the antibacterial potential of mango ginger (Curcuma mangga)-based kombucha against Escherichia coli and Salmonella typhi, as well as to analyze the effect of fermentation duration on the physicochemical properties of kombucha. Fermentation was conducted for 5, 7, 10, and 14 days, with total acidity, pH, and antibacterial activity measurements using the well diffusion method. The results showed total acidity increased as fermentation progressed, while pH decreased. Antibacterial tests demonstrated that mango ginger kombucha exhibited inhibitory activity against Escherichia coli and Salmonella typhi, with the largest inhibition zones observed on day 10 of fermentation (8.2 mm for Escherichia coli and 9.2 mm for Salmonella typhi). Although its inhibitory effect was moderate compared to the positive control (ciprofloxacin), these findings suggest the potential of mango ginger kombucha as a functional beverage with antibacterial properties. Further research is needed to identify the active compounds responsible for its antimicrobial activity and to optimize the fermentation process to enhance its effectiveness.

Abstract

Diare merupakan salah satu masalah kesehatan yang sering terjadi pada anak usia sekolah dan dapat dicegah melalui penerapan perilaku hidup bersih dan sehat. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengevaluasi efektivitas program penyuluhan perilaku hidup bersih dan sehat terhadap penurunan kejadian diare pada anak usia sekolah melalui tinjauan sistematis literatur. Penelusuran dilakukan terhadap berbagai artikel yang dipublikasikan antara tahun 2022 hingga 2025 melalui beberapa basis data daring menggunakan kata kunci terpilih. Jumlah artikel yang ditemukan: 245 artikel, Setelah proses penyaringan dan seleksi (duplikasi dihapus, tidak relevan disingkirkan, full-text tersedia, sesuai kriteria inklusi): Jumlah artikel yang digunakan dalam telaah akhir: 15 artikel. Hasil tinjauan menunjukkan bahwa program penyuluhan yang dilakukan secara berkelanjutan, kontekstual, dan melibatkan partisipasi aktif siswa memberikan dampak signifikan terhadap penurunan angka kejadian diare. Penyuluhan yang menggunakan media visual dan praktik langsung memiliki efektivitas lebih tinggi dalam meningkatkan pengetahuan dan perubahan perilaku anak. Lingkungan fisik sekolah yang mendukung serta keterlibatan guru dan orang tua juga berperan penting dalam keberhasilan intervensi. Penelitian ini menyimpulkan bahwa program penyuluhan perilaku hidup bersih dan sehat yang terintegrasi secara menyeluruh mampu meningkatkan kualitas kesehatan siswa dan menurunkan kejadian diare secara bermakna.
