Abstract

The purpose of this research is to develop environmetal pollution student worksheet based on guided inquiry to practice creative thinking skills that are valid, practical, and effective,. The development of LKPD uses the 4-D method namely Define, Design, Develop, without applying the Disseminate phase. The trial was conducted on 20 students of class X MIPA 5 SMAN 1 Waru Sidoarjo by using a pretest-posttest design. Validity is obtained through validation by education experts and material experts. The practicality of worksheet is measured based on the assessment of the feasibility of learning while using LKPD. The effectiveness of worksheet is measured based on learning outcomes along with student responses after learning using worksheet. Data validity, practicality, and effectiveness analyzed by descriptive quantitative method. The results of research trials show the modus category of validity of LKPD is very valid. The practicality of LKPD is 100% with a very practical category. The effectiveness based on the results of students' creative thinking has increased until 88% with the category of very creative on 4 aspects of creative thinking and based on student responses of 95,42% with very effective category. Abstract

Telah dikembangkan LKPD pada submateri pencemaran lingkungan untuk melatih keterampilan literasi sains peserta didik kelas X SMA/MA dengan menggunakan rancangan 4-D. Penelitian yang dilakukan ini bertujuan mendeskripsikan keefektifan LKPD tersebut yang diujikan pada 20 peserta didik SMAN 2 Sidoarjo. Kepada peserta sebelum dan sesudah perlakukan dilakukan tes hasil belajar dan pelaksanaan tugas-tugas literasi sains selama pembelajaran. Analisis deskriptif menunjukkan bahwa pada kedua aspek tersebut, yaitu hasil belajar dan keterampilan literasi menunjukkan bahwa pada pretes semua peserta didik tidak tuntas pencapaian indikator hasil belajar maupun indikator literasi sains, sementara pada posttes 100% peserta didik menunjukkan ketuntasan pencapaian indikator hasil belajar dan literasi sains. Berdasarkan hasil tersebut dapat disimpulkan bahwa LKPD pada submateri pencemaran lingkungan untuk melatihkan keterampilan literasi sains dinyatakan sangat efektif. Penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa penggunaan LKPD sebagai sarana melatihkan keterampilan literasi sains terbukti efektif dan mampu memberikan kemudahan bagi peserta didik dalam memahami materi pembelajaran. Abstract

Problem based learning that involve student to solve authentic problem need to be applied for understanding its role in training students’ problem solving ability. This research aimed to (1) describe the implementation of problem based learning, (2) describe mastery of student’s problem solving ability who are taught problem based learning and (3) describe student’s responses about problem based learning. This research was a pre-experimental using one-group pretest-posttest design. The research sample which selected using purposive sampling were X IPA 6 of MAN Sidoarjo as a experiment class. Data was collected by observation, test and questionnaire. Data were analyzed based on learning implementation, the mastery level of student’s problem solving ability, and student responses. Results showed that problem based learning carried out very good (in the percentage 97.5%). The student’s mastery level of problem solving ability increased with a percentage of 80% after applying problem based learning. Students was positively response to the problem based learning (in the percentage of 86%). Keywords: Problem based learning, Problem solving ability

Abstract

Conception is a person's understanding of something being observed. Cell material is prone to misconceptions owing to the fact that the material is unable to be sensed, moreover there are many sub-concepts that need to be fully apprehended. This research aims to describe the high school students conception profile on the cell material in Tuban Regency using the Three-Tier Test method, to describe the differences in the conception of high school students on cell material in Tuban Regency, and to describe the differences in the conception profile of students by school area. This is a descriptive-quantitative research using Three-Tier Test instrument. Data collection was carried out online via google form and interviews via google meet. 60 high school students of class XI in Tuban Regency were involved as the target of the research. The results showed that the conception profile of high school students on cell material in Tuban Regency mastered the concept of 53.21%, did not master the concept of 14.01% and misconceptions 32.78%. The highest of school that did not mastering concept was High School 1 Bancar at 31.30% and the highest misconception was High School 3 Tuban at 36.48%. Students experienced the highest misconception on the endocytosis concept, which was 63.33%. The cause of misconceptions is from student itself, worksheet book, and the teacher’s explanation. Abstract

Dominasi peserta didik tertentu membuat penyerapan konsep materi tidak merata, khususnya bagi peserta didik yang kurang aktif. Panduan dalam kegiatan pembelajaran yang sesuai untuk mencegah dominasi salah satunya adalah LKPD yang memadukan karakteristik model pembelajaran Numbered Heads Together (NHT). Tujuan penelitian ini yaitu menghasilkan Lembar Kegiatan Peserta Didik (LKPD) berbasis Numbered Heads Together (NHT) untuk mengurangi dominasi peserta didik yang valid dan praktis. Kevalidan LKPD berbasis NHT dilakukan dengan metode validasi oleh dua orang dosen yaitu dosen ahli pendidikan dan dosen ahli materi menggunakan instrumen validasi yang berisi aspek isi, pedagogi, bahasa, cover, kesesuaian huruf, dan urutan langkah NHT. Kepraktisan LKPD diukur melalui keterbacaan teks yang ada dalam LKPD dan disesuaikan dengan Grafik Fray serta respon guru melalui metode wawancara terbuka. LKPD berabsis NHT berisi petunjuk peggunaan LKPD, permasalahan yang harus dipecahkan oleh peserta didik, serta kegiatan praktikum dan mejawab pertanyaan yang sesuai dengan karakteristik LKPD. Hasil dari penilaian validasi menyebutkan bahwa LKPD berbasis NHT valid dengan perolehan skor rata-rata aspek isi 3,83; aspek pedagogi 4; aspek bahasa 4; aspek penyajian cover 4; aspek kesesuaian huruf 4; dan aspek urutan langkah NHT 3,83 dengan katagori sangat valid. Hasil Kepraktisan LKPD dengan mengukur keterbacaan teks dalam LKPD yaitu praktis karena sesuai dengan tingkatan kelas peserta didik (kelas 11 SMA) dengan jumlah suku kata 142,4 dan 3,3 kalimat serta respon positif guru terhadap LKPD NHT dengan jawaban sesuai. Dengan dikembangkannya LKPD berbasis NHT maka dominasi peserta didik tertentu akan berkurang sehingga pemahaman konsep yang dimiliki peserta didik merata. Berdasarkan hasil penelitian maka dapat disimpulkan bahwa LKPD berbasis NHT valid dan praktis untuk mengurangi dominasi peserta didik tertentu secara teoritis. Abstract

Education in Indonesia has experienced several stages of change, start from infrastructure and policies and the curriculum. Professional teachers are required to be able to follow the changes, especially in the management of learning. The learning process that teachers in SMA PGRI 1 Banjarmasin still theoretical and memorizing. During this time teachers teaching always use discourse method, so the impact on the activity and student motivation is low. This study aims to investigate the response of students and teachers to the model KNoS-KGS in learning Biology at SMA PGRI 1 Banjarmasin. The population in this research are the students of SMA PGRI 1 Banjarmasin, whereas the sample is XI class. 25 students are choosing by random sampling. The technique of collecting the data using questionnaires. The average percentage of positive responses of students to the components and learning activities is on average 96.80. teacher's response to component and learning activities is positive, teacher believes that Model  KNoS-KGS very helpful (90.63%), assist (9.37), very good (96.88%), good (3.12). The results of data analysis can be concluded that the response of the students and teacher responses to the components of the model KNoS-KGS is positive.Keywords:        Students Response, Teacher Response, KNoS-KGS Model

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan: 1) mendeskripsikan keefektifan implementasi kurikulum SN-Dikti pada Prodi Pendidikan Biologi, dan 2) mendeskripsikan keterlaksanaan implementasi kurikulum SN-Dikti pada Prodi Pendidikan Biologi. Penelitian ini berupa penelitian observasional. Observasi dilakukan pada matakuliah program studi Pendidikan Biologi. Pengumpulan data terkait dokumen dan observasi dilakukan dengan mengacu pada instrumen yang relevan untuk mengukur  mengukur efektivitas dan keterlaksanaan kurikulum Dikti. Analisis data disesuaikan dengan jenis instrumennya, yaitu 1) instrumen pengumpul data dianalisis secara deskriptif kualitatif, 2) nilai hasil belajar dianalisis secara deskriptif kuantitatif dan uji perbedaan rerata, 3) instrumen observasi proses perkuliahan dianalisis secara deskrptif kuantitatif, 4) angket dianalisis secara deskriptif kuantitatif. Hasil penelitian yaitu 1) Kurikulum SN-Dikti pada Prodi Pendidikan Biologi efektif, dan 2) Keterlaksanaan Kurikulum SN-Dikti pada Prodi Pendidikan Biologi sangat baik.Kata kunci: Efektivitas, Kurikulum, Pendidikan Biologi This aims of this study to: 1) describe the effectiveness of the implementation of the SN-Dikti curriculum in Biology Education Department, and 2) describe the implementation of the SN-Dikti curriculum implementation in Biology Education Department. This research is an observational study. Observations were made on the courses of Biology Education Department. Collecting data related to documents and observations is conducted by referring to relevant instruments to measure the effectiveness and feasibility of the Higher Education curriculum. Data analysis was adjusted to the type of instrument, namely 1) the data collection instruments were analyzed descriptively qualitatively, 2) the value of learning outcomes was analyzed descriptively quantitative and the average difference test, 3) the observation instrument of the lecturing process was analyzed descriptively quantitative, 4) the questionnaire was analyzed descriptively quantitative. The results of the study are: 1) curriculum of SN-Dikti in Biology Education Department is effective, and 2) The implementation of SN-Dikti Curriculum in Biology Education Department is very good.Keywords: Effectiveness, Curriculum, Biology Education

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menghasilkan perangkat pembelajaran inkuiriterbimbing menggunakan software visual analyzer (VA) pada materi interferensigelombang bunyi untuk melatihkan keterampilan proses sains siswa SMA.Pengembangan pembelajaran menggunakan model 4-D tetapi hanya sampai padatahap pengembangan (develop) karena hasil pengembangannya diterapkan terbataspada sekolah tempat penelitian dan diujicobakan di kelas XII IPA SMA SantaMaria Surabaya semester ganjil tahun ajaran 2014/2015, dengan jumlah siswasebanyak 20 orang menggunakan One-Group Pretest-Posttest Design. Perangkatpembelajaran yang dikembangkan terdiri dari RPP, LKS, BAS dan tes hasil belajaryang meliputi aspek pengetahuan, keterampilan proses dan sikap. Temuanpenelitian yaitu: perangkat pembelajaran yang dikembangkan berkategori valid, teshasil belajar berkategori baik, keterlaksanaan RPP dalam pembelajaranberkategori baik, respon siswa terhadap pembelajaran menunjukkan respon positif,aktivitas siswa berkategori baik, semua siswa mencapai ketuntasan hasil belajardengan skor peningkatan (normal-gain) sedang, dan hambatan dalam pembelajaraninkuiri terbimbing adalah kurangnya pemahaman siswa dalam merumuskanmasalah, merumuskan hipotesis dan menentukan variabel percobaan. Berdasarkanhasil analisis data dapat disimpulkan bahwa perangkat pembelajaran inkuiriterbimbing menggunakan software VA untuk melatihkan keterampilan proses sainssiswa SMA pada materi interferensi bunyi layak digunakan dalam pembelajaran

Abstract

Tidak tersedianya instrumen penilaian kinerja yang layak digunakan (valid, reliabel dan praktis) untuk mengukur hasil belajar siswa terutama pada materi respirasi hewan, menyebabkan guru hanya melakukan penilaian kognitif dan afektif. Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk menghasilkan instrument penilaian kinerja membuat alat respirometer sederhana yang valid, reliabel dan praktis. Penelitian ini menggunakan model penelitian pengembangan yang  dikembangkan oleh Borg & Gall. Validitas diperoleh dari hasil penilaian dua validator, reliabilitas dihitung menggunakan rumus Spearman Brown yang dibantu dengan SPSS 24, sedangkan kepraktisan instrumen dilihat dari keterlaksanaannya. Berdasarkan modus kategori validitas maka disimpulkan hasil validasi instrumen penilaian keterampilan kinerja membuat respirometer sederhana memiliki kategori valid dengan reliabilitas instrumen 0,96 sehingga dikategorikan reliabel, dan kepraktisan berdasarkan penilaian pengamatan sebesar 96,88%, dan angket guru sebesar  91,67% sehingga dikategorikan praktis.Kata kunci: Instrumen penilaian, kinerja, keterampilan, respirometer sederhana The development of skills performance laboratory assessment making simple respirometer instrument. The unavailability of appropriate performance appraisal instruments (valid, reliable and practical) to measure student learning outcomes, especially on animal respiration material, causes teachers to only conduct cognitive and affective assessments.The purpose of this study is to produce a performance appraisal instrument to make a simple, reliable and practical respirometer. This study uses a development model developed by Borg & Gall. Validity was obtained from the results of the assessment of two validators, reliability was calculated using the Spearman Brown formula which was assisted with SPSS 24, while the practicality of the instrument was seen from its implementation. Based on the validity category mode, it was concluded that the results of the validation of the performance skills assessment instrument made the respirometer simply have a valid category with an instrument reliability is 0.96 so that it was categorized as reliable, and practicality was based on an observer's assessment is 96.88%, and the teacher questionnaire is 91.67% so that it was categorized as practical.Keywords: Assessment instrument, the performance, skills, simple respirometer

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mendeskripsikan dampak positif dan negatif pada sekolah satu atap di SD X serta mendeskripsikan strategi guru tersebut dalam mengatasi dampak negatif. Penelitian ini termasuk penelitian kuantitatif deskriptif. Siswa kelas 4,5 dan 6 beserta guru kelasnya dan kepala sekolah merupakan subjek pada penelitian ini. Teknik pengumpulan meggunakan angket, observasi dan dokumentasi. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan (1) peneliti menemukan macam-macam dampak positif seperti banyaknya motivasi dan wawasan mengenai hal-hal yang belum diketahui siswa SD sebelumnya dan dampak negatif pada perilaku siswa di SD X seperti meniru hal-hal yang tidak baik pada siswa smp tanpa menyaring perilaku tersebut patut ditiru atau tidak. (2) peneliti juga mengetahui bahwasannya sekolah satu atap di SD X lebih membawa dampak ke perilaku yang positif daripada negatif, (3) selain itu peneliti juga mengetahui macam-macam strategi guru sekolah dasar (SD) X dalam mengatasi siswanya supaya tidak terpengaruh ke arah yang negatif seperti di berikan nasihat setiap hari tanpa henti mengenai hal-hal yang baik dilakukan ataupun yang tidak baik dilakukan
