Research-based learning in superior madrasas is prepared as a means to instill love of knowledge and empathy for the environment and encourage students to reason critically, creatively and independently which is the principle in the independent curriculum. This study aims to examine the contribution of research-based learning at MAN Insan Cendekia Pekalongan to student achievement motivation. The research method used is qualitative with data collection techniques through unstructured interviews, field observations, and documentation. In addition, research instruments were given to 95 students who became the initial population of the study using google forms to ensure the possibility of diversity of perspectives on research-based learning and motivation for achievement. Furthermore, data collection was carried out by purposive sampling to 17 students who participated in the preparation of the national scientific paper competition to dig up achievement data for achievement (nAch) in depth. The results of the study showed that there was a significant contribution of research-based learning to students' motivation for achievement which was shown by the desire to do something more than ordinary learning (nAch1), the desire to solve problems in research (nAch2), the desire to take personal responsibility in research (nAch3), and the desire to show good performance in research (nAch4). Overall, RbL contributes to facilitating students to think critically, creatively and independently which is part of the expected character in the independent curriculum.

This study aims to explore the digital learning culture at SMP Al Hikmah Boarding School Batu, focusing on the adaptation of students and teachers in technology-based learning processes. A qualitative approach was employed using observation, semi-structured interviews, and documentation. The research informants included the principal, teachers, and active students at the school. The findings indicate that the full integration of the Learning Management System (LMS) in daily teaching and learning activities has transformed learning patterns into more independent, flexible, and interactive ones. Teachers act as facilitators and digital mediators, guiding students to use technology productively and responsibly. However, challenges such as infrastructure limitations and disparities in digital literacy among users remain. Collaborative solutions including regular training, teacher discussion forums, and student mentoring are key factors for successfully fostering an inclusive and sustainable digital learning culture. This study is expected to serve as a reference for boarding schools in optimizing digital learning implementation.

The problem of 21st Century education is in facing the challenges to produce generations with ability to think critically and skills in solving life problems. The challenges can be responded through educational innovation in Islamic boarding schools. The purpose of the research is to analyze the forms of educational innovation made by Islamic boarding schools in Indonesia and Malaysia in facing the 21st Century. This research uses systematic literature review (SLR) type of qualitative approach. The tools used to codify the literatures are Publish and Perish, ERIC, and Google Scholar. The codification result finds 64 articles on Islamic boarding schools innovation in Malaysia and 207 articles on it in Indonesia. The articles codified are limited from 2013 -2023. The result of the research shows that there are differences between educational innovations in Indonesia and Malaysia in the period of 2013 to 2023 in the aspects of the use of technology, community involvement, collaboration with other educational institutions, combination of religious and general education, and in the aspect of project-base education. The similarities between the two are in increasing the faith of Muslims through religious education and creating generations of noble character. To face the challenges of the 21st century requires the role of a transformational and distributive leader who can form unity, partnership, cooperation, democracy, tolerance, and involvement in leadership practices.

Penelitian ini berfokus pada periode 2020-2024 dan menggunakan pendekatan bibliometrik untuk menganalisis tren literatur terkait dengan tema pembelajaran daring dalam pendidikan islam. Data berasal dari Lens.org, yang berisi lebih dari 200 juta publikasi ilmiah. Kajian ini berfokus pada publikasi pada negara Indonesia. Analisis meliputi pola kutipan, sebaran geografis, dan trend terkait. Data yang dikumpulkan melalui kata kunci “online learning in Islamic education”. Hasil yang menunjukkan peningkatan signifikan dari tahun 2022 hingga 2023, dengan jenis artikel jurnal yang menjadi tipe dokumen yang sering digunakan oleh peneliti untuk mempublikasikan jurnal. Studi ini memberikan wawasan tentang perkembangan literatur dan peluang penelitian di masa yang akan datang.

In the era of digital learning, educational institutions must innovate to meet the changing needs of the times. The efforts of educational institutions to make their creations and inno- vations a challenge. The innovation carried out by educational institutions aim to equip student competencies according to their time. The purpose of this study is to analyze the innovation of digital-based learning media in the development of character education in MAN I Lamongan. This research method uses case studies with an interview, obser- vation, and documentation data collection techniques. While the data analysis uses the theory of Miles and Huberman, which begins with reducing data, presenting data, and drawing conclusions. The results indicated that 1) MAN 1 Lamongan encourage the inoo- vation through implementation Vision-mission; 2) learning process using positive internet using varied learning media in the form of slides , dynamic visuals that are projected, printed, games, and reality media, and 3) programs of activities including Adiwiyata school programs, ISO programs, D1 equivalent production programs in collaboration with ITS, and Ma'had for sons and daughters. All services connected with Information Technology.

AbstractComputer literacy has become an interesting issue in the field of education as the integration of technology in education develops rapidly and continues to increase in the future. One aspect of computer literacy teacher’s and student’s perceptions and attitudes to use computers for classroom instruction. Unfortunately, this has been a challenge for incorporating technology during the teaching and learning process. The current study aims to analyze the implementation of the use of a mobile laptop in the class and unfold the student’s attitudes toward using laptops during their learning activities. This research was a survey study that includes interviews, observation and documentation as a data collection technique. The subject of the study is 312 students from seventh to ninth grade. Data analysis was done by the following steps: data collection, data reductions, data analysis, and conclusion making. The study finds that 1) course content and learning activities have been predetermined/ predesigned and stored in the laptops, 2) every student have access to the device with the help of group work. The study also reveals that the attitude of students toward the use of laptops in the classroom process is positive in the sense that they show satisfaction on the use of laptops. They also acknowledge the advantages of the computer for their learning and show high awareness of the importance of keeping the devices maintained and secured.AbstrakSalah satu bidang Tehnologi pembelajara adalah pemanfaatan teknologi informasi sebagai media pembelajaran. Hal tersebut selaras dengan perkembangan abad 4,0. Kemampuan siswa dalam menggunakan dan memanfaatkan computer (Komputer Literasi) menjadi isu yang menarik saat ini. Komputer literasi menjadi bagian dari teknologi pembelajaran. Tujuan dari penelitian ini untuk menganalisis implementasi penggunaan laptop Mobile dalam aktivitas belajar di kelas dan bagaimana respon siswa dalam penggunaan laptop Mobile di kelas. Penelitian ini dilakukan dengan survey. Sedangkan metode pengumpulan datanya dilakukan dengan cara wawancara, observasi, dan dokumentasi. Subjek penelitian ini adalah siswa kelas VII, VIII, dan VIII sejumlah 312 anak. Analisis penelitian ini dilakukan dengan cara mengumpulkan data, mereduksi, menganalisis, dan membuat kesimpulan. Hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa implementasi penggunaan laptop mobile dilakukan saat proses belajar mengajar dilakukan dengan cara 1) semua materi dimasukkan dalam laptop mobile, 2) semua siswa mendapatkan hak akses untuk menggunakannya, dan 3) aktivitas belajar sudah didesain dalam laptop mobile. Sedangkan respon siswa dalam menggunakan mobile laptop menunjukkan 1) tingkat kepuasaan dalam menggunakan laptop mobile, 2) tingkat kemanfaatan dalam menggunakan laptop mobile, dan 3) tingkat tanggungjawab dalam merawat laptop mobile pada angka rerata yang paling tinggi pada lilihan stuju dan sangat setuju. This study analyzes the trend and development of eco-pedagogy literacy in Indonesia from 2016 to 2024. The method used was a Systematic Literature Review (SLR) with the PRISMA protocol, analyzing 27 articles that met the inclusion criteria. The results of this study showed 1) a significant increase in the number of publications related to eco pedagogy literacy, especially publications in 2023, 2) Qualitative research with high school students as subjects and questionnaires as research tools are often used, 3) Problem-Based Learning (PBL) and Contextual Learning (CL) are the most common learning strategies applied in eco pedagogy. In addition, environmental awareness is the theme most often associated with ecopedagogy literacy in Indonesia. The study also revealed that the Research and Development (RnD) approach is rarely applied, so there are opportunities for developing innovative learning modules and educational media that are more interactive in introducing eco-pedagogy. This research contributes to understanding how environmental education can be strengthened through eco pedagogy and encourages further research that focuses on using technology in learning to improve environmental literacy. As such, the findings are highly relevant to supporting the development of more sustainable education programs in Indonesia.

The rural community of Poreh exhibits potential through its proactive community leaders driving educational initiatives. However, the prevalence of residents with low educational qualifications underscores the need for optimization in educational quality. This service-oriented research aims to optimize the initiatives of mosque administrators and influential figures in Poreh Lenteng Village, focusing on enhancing community education through the Muslim women's study group. Specifically, the research aims to systematize material for strengthening family education to facilitate practical implementation for each study group member. Employing the ABCD (Asset Based Community Development) approach, the research progresses through stages including discovery, dream, design, define, destiny, and reflection. The outcomes highlight the emphasis on developing material to fortify family education, previously rudimentary and lacking direction. This initiative aims to provide cognitive and practical insights to study group members, fostering an educational environment within their family settings. The research suggests diversifying methods for Muslim women's activities beyond traditional lecture-based approaches.

Students’ Perceptions of Project Based Learning in Democratic Voice: Interdisciplinary Approarch in Citizenship Education and Islamic Religious Education.[vp1] Objectives: Through the theme of voice of democracy, the school designs project-based learning through an interdisciplinary approach to the subjects of citizenship education and Islamic religious education. This study aims to analyze students' perceptions of the project's learning based on perceptions of interest, motive, responsibility and objectivity. Methods: This research is a type of survey research with data collection through questionnaires, in-depth interviews and observations. The questionnaire was compiled based on a five-point Likert scale which was distributed randomly to 147 respondents in the form of students. Data analysis on the questionnaire used SEM (structural equality modeling) analysis with the SMART PLS 4.0 program. Findings: The results of this study are 1). The perception of interest negatively affects the objectivity of the election of the student council president. Awareness and interest of students need to be increased through learning and programs that increase student motivation. 2). The perception of motives and responsibilities positively affects objectivity and interest. Conclusion: Personal and group interests must be avoided in order to provide a sense of responsibility for students towards the objectivity of electing the student council chairman. Lingkup pembahasan tulisan ini pada kebijakan pendidikan Islam di Indonesia, baik konsep ataupun praksis. Sebagai fondasi, maka penulis meninjau pemikiran dan kebijakan KH.A.Wahid Hasyim ketika menjadi Menteri Agama. Politik pendidikan Islam dalam pandangan Kiai Wahid ini akan disandingankan dengan kajian historis, mulai zaman kolonial, kemerdekaan dan revolusi, orde baru hingga reformasi. Dalam konteks sejarah, terdapat perubahan sistem pemerintahan di Indonesia - yang berimplikasi terhadap dinamika pendidikan Islam. Perubahan pemerintahan, pemimpin, sistem akan diiringi perubahan dalam pengambilan kebijakan. Kemudian dalam kurun waktu yang sangat panjang, kita ketahui bahwa pada masa revolusi mulai diberikan arah yang jelas mengenai pendidikan Islam. Ini terbukti dengan pemerintah membentuk Departemen Agama sebagai wadah untuk mereformulasi kebijakan dan penentu arah juang misi ajaran Islam. Dalam perkembangan berbangsa dan bernegara, politik sebagai kebijakan telah melahirkan pembaharuan dalam dunia pendidikan Islam. Core idea yang dapat penulis jabarkan adalah kebijakan tentang politik pendidikan Islam pada masa KH.A.Wahid Hasyim sebagai tokoh pendidikan sekaligus Menteri Agama yakni diterapkannya konsep modern dengan desain kurikulum baru di lembaga pendidikan Islam (seperti pesantren dan madrasah). Selanjutnya Kiai Wahid menghilangkan dikotomi dalam dunia pendidikan, sehingga terjadi sitesa dan integrasi antara pendidikan Islam dengan pendidikan umum. Untuk mengembangkan konsep ini, maka dikeluarkan beberapa kebijakan, yang di antaranya adalah penggunaan bahasa Indonesia di madrasah dan berdirinya IAIN Jakarta sebagai wadah pengembangan kelimuan yang terintegrasi.
