Abstract

This study aims to explore the relevance of the fundamental principles of Islamic education according to Hasan Langgulung to the needs of modern education, as well as the implications of their application in facing global challenges in the era of disruption. The method used is a qualitative approach with descriptive analysis, through literature review and interpretation of the fundamental concepts of Islamic education proposed by Hasan Langgulung. The research findings indicate that the fundamental principles of Islamic education, including wholeness (syumuliyah), integration, authenticity, scientific, practical, solidarity, and openness, are highly relevant to contemporary education. Each principle supports the creation of holistic education, which develops not only intellectual aspects but also spiritual, moral, and social dimensions. The results emphasize that with a systematic and adaptive approach, Hasan Langgulung's concept of Islamic education can be a solution to produce generations who are not only excel in knowledge but also possess high integrity in facing global dynamics. The implications of these findings highlight the importance of integrating both worldly and otherworldly knowledge in the education curriculum, as well as strengthening social and moral values within the education system. As a recommendation, educators and policymakers are encouraged to implement these fundamental principles in designing curricula that are more relevant to future challenges.

Abstract

This research aims to determine the productivity of STAI Al-Hidayah Bogor lecturer from 2020 to June 2024 in writing scientific papers and publishing them until they are indexed in Google Scholar and analyzing them based on management perspective, especially in research management. This is based on the rationality that the publication of scientific works has now become evidence of increasing the quality of education in higher education, both from the functional career of individual lecturer, as well as in increasing the accreditation of their study programs/tertiary institutions. This reseach uses quatitative research to collect initial data about lecturers’ scientific productivity and qualitative research to analyze it descriptively-interpretively until conclusions are drawn. Especially in the management aspect. The results of the research show that in the last five years there has been a decline in the number of scientific works published by STAI Al-Hidayah Bogor lecturers in various national journals until they are indexed in Google Scholar. It can also be seen that there is a high gap in scientific productivity beetwen STAI Al-Hidayah Bogor lecturers in the number of documents, citation, i-index, and i10-index as well ad in their productivity as first authors, both as sole authors individually and as first authors collaboratively. This requires the implementation of scientific productivity management by lecturers in managing their research, which includes planning, implementing, controlling, monitoring, evaluating, and reporting research activities.

Abstract

The purpose of this research is to explore the effectiveness of the cooperative learning model in creating a more interactive and collaborative learning environment. The methodology used in this research is a qualitative approach involving in-depth interviews and classroom observations, engaging teachers and eleventh-grade students. The findings of the research indicate that the cooperative learning model successfully enhances students' interest in learning, with students becoming more active and engaged in the learning process. However, challenges also arise, particularly for shy students or those who struggle to interact. The conclusion of this research emphasizes that despite some obstacles, the implementation of this model yields positive results in creating a pleasant and productive learning atmosphere. The implications of this research contribute significantly to the development of PAI and Character Education, encouraging teachers to adopt cooperative methods and consider students' characteristics. Thus, this research not only offers practical strategies for educators but also enriches the literature on innovative learning approaches in the context of Islamic education.

Abstract

This article discusses the application of the exemplary education method (uswah) at Uwais Al-Qorn Boarding School, which is effective in shaping the character of yatama through habituation, motivation, rule enforcement, and prayer. The study employs a qualitative descriptive interpretive approach, with data collection through interviews and observation. The findings of this study indicate that the uswah method at Uwais Al-Qorni Pesantren not only deepens the spiritual and emotional understanding of the students but also strengthens their discipline and responsibility. Consistent habituation, constructive motivation, and strict rule enforcement, combined with prayer, are key factors in preparing students to face life's challenges. The implications of this study suggest that the application of a holistic, structured education method grounded in Islamic values can make a significant contribution to shaping a generation that is strong, independent, and of noble character. This approach is not only relevant for pesantren but can also be applied in various educational institutions to cultivate better character development in students and prepare them to face the dynamics of modern life.

Abstract

Pendidikan kader dai berbasis Masjid merupakan langkah strategis untuk melahirkan dai yang tangguh dalam aspek intelektual, fisik, spiritual, dan finansial. Penelitian ini bertujuan mengkaji dan mengevaluasi implementasi program Pendidikan Kader Dai berbasis Masjid di Sekolah Dai Azura (SADAR), Masjid Azura, Kabupaten Bogor, dalam membentuk dai yang kompeten secara ilmiah dan efektif dalam berdakwah. Fokus penelitian meliputi pembekalan ilmu syar’i, peningkatan kualitas dakwah, serta penguatan ukhuwah dan jaringan antar dai. Metode kualitatif deskriptif digunakan dengan pengumpulan data melalui wawancara, observasi, dan dokumentasi. Meskipun belum menghasilkan lulusan, terdapat perkembangan signifikan dalam penguasaan ilmu syar’i dan kemampuan berdakwah peserta. Interaksi di lingkungan masjid juga memperkuat ukhuwah di antara mereka. Tantangan terbesar adalah keberlanjutan program hingga lulusannya tercapai serta dukungan lebih luas. Secara keseluruhan, Sekolah Dai Azura menunjukkan potensi besar dalam membentuk dai yang kokoh dalam ilmu, dakwah, dan ukhuwah serta penguatan jaringan antar dai.

Abstract

This research aims to analyze the influence of assignment and presentation methods on academic achievement. This research uses a quantitative descriptive method with data collection through questionnaires and inferential statistical analysis of 2 predictor regressions. The research results show that there is a significant influence between assignment and presentation methods on academic achievement. There is a significant influence between assignment method (X1) and academic achievement (y). Each improvement in assignment method correlates with a 0.5 unit increase in academic achievement. Improving the quality of assignment methods contributes positively to increasing academic achievement. There is a significant influence between presentation (X2) and academic achievement (y). Each increase in presentation was positively correlated with a 0.7 unit increase in academic achievement. Assignment and presentation methods contributed 63.4% to the variance in academic achievement (R Squared = 0.634). This shows that the use of these two variables in the regression model increases the ability to explain variations in academic achievement. The findings of this research show that assignment and presentation methods have a significant influence, so they have an important role in improving academic achievement for students of the PAI STAI Al-Hidayah Bogor scholarship program. The implications of this research are for educational institutions to pay attention to the quality of assignment and presentation methods as learning strategies to improve student academic achievement.

Abstract

The forms and meanings of a 2-year-old lexicon are very interesting. The aesthetics are found in the different meanings of similar lexicon forms. The purpose of this study is to explain the forms and purpose of the lexicon of children at age 2. The method used in this research is descriptive qualitative. The subject of this research is 2-year-old children who live in the Sabilambo Village, Kolaka Regency. The object of this study is the lexicon of these children. The data collection techniques are through direct observations, recordings, notes, and interviews. The data were analyzed using a contextual approach. The context approach is used to explain the different meanings of the same lexicon forms. The results showed that the 2-year-old children during the research expressed 65 lexicons in the forms of nouns, verbs, adverbs, adjectives, and pronouns. From these lexicon forms, it is found that there are some similar forms that convey different meanings, and consequently, the understanding of a context is needed to be able to explain the meaning.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengeksplorasi dan menganalisis strategi yang diterapkan oleh pendidik dalam mata pelajaran Pendidikan Agama Islam (PAI) dan Budi Pekerti untuk menanamkan karakter religius peserta didik di SMK 3 Negeri Kabupaten Gowa. Masalah yang diangkat adalah bagaimana strategi pengajaran yang digunakan dapat berkontribusi dalam pembentukan karakter religius di kalangan siswa. Metode yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah pendekatan kualitatif dengan desain studi kasus, yang melibatkan wawancara mendalam, observasi kelas, dan analisis dokumen. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa pendidik menerapkan berbagai strategi, termasuk pembelajaran berbasis proyek, diskusi kelompok, dan penggunaan teknologi dalam pengajaran. Strategi-strategi ini terbukti efektif dalam meningkatkan pemahaman dan penerapan nilai-nilai religius oleh peserta didik. Simpulan dari penelitian ini menegaskan bahwa penerapan strategi pengajaran yang beragam dan kontekstual sangat penting dalam menanamkan karakter religius, serta memberikan rekomendasi bagi pendidik untuk terus mengembangkan metode pengajaran yang inovatif dan relevan dengan kebutuhan peserta didik di era modern. Penelitian ini diharapkan dapat memberikan kontribusi bagi pengembangan pendidikan karakter religius di Indonesia.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengkaji filsafat empirisme Ibnu Taimiyah dan relevansinya terhadap transformasi filsafat ilmu di era modern. Dengan pendekatan kualitatif, penelitian ini mengidentifikasi bagaimana pemikiran empirisme Ibnu Taimiyah dapat memberikan perspektif baru dalam memahami integrasi antara agama, filsafat, dan ilmu pengetahuan. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa saluran ilmu menurut Ibnu Taimiyah yang mencakup wahyu, akal, dan indera menawarkan landasan yang kokoh untuk menjaga objektivitas dan integritas ilmu di tengah tantangan epistemologis saat ini. Dengan menekankan supremasi wahyu dan peran akal serta indera sebagai alat bantu, pemikiran Ibnu Taimiyah memberikan solusi yang relevan dalam menghadapi disinformasi dan relativisme epistemologis di era modern. Temuan ini diharapkan dapat memberikan kontribusi signifikan dalam pengembangan filsafat ilmu dalam konteks kontemporer.

Abstract

Penyakit yang menyerang daun jagung dapat berdampak negatif terhadap kualitas dan hasil pertanian, sehingga deteksi dini sangat diperlukan untuk mengurangi kerugian yang disebabkan oleh infeksi tersebut. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengembangkan model klasifikasi berbasis teknologi deep learning untuk mendeteksi penyakit pada daun jagung. Model yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah Convolutional Neural Network (CNN) yang memanfaatkan pendekatan transfer learning dengan arsitektur VGG16. Dataset yang digunakan terdiri dari 150 citra daun jagung yang dikelompokkan dalam tiga kategori, yaitu bercak daun, hawar daun, dan daun sehat, masing-masing berjumlah 50 citra. Hasil evaluasi menunjukkan bahwa model yang dikembangkan memiliki tingkat akurasi sebesar 89,33%, dengan nilai precision, recall, dan F1-score berturut-turut adalah 89,26%, 88,66%, dan 88,96%. Hal ini menunjukkan bahwa model mampu mengklasifikasikan gambar dengan baik, meskipun ada beberapa kesulitan dalam membedakan kelas bercak daun dan daun sehat. Secara keseluruhan, model ini menunjukkan potensi yang besar untuk diterapkan dalam sistem pemantauan kesehatan tanaman jagung secara otomatis dan real-time, yang dapat membantu petani dalam mengambil keputusan yang lebih cepat dan tepat
