Abstract

This community service program aimed to enhance parental involvement in early childhood education through a Participatory Parenting approach implemented at PAUD Avicena and RA Nurul Iman Negeri Katon. The study employed the Participatory Action Research (PAR) method, which involved teachers, parents, and lecturers in all stages of planning, implementation, observation, and reflection. The activities included training on effective communication, Islamic-based parenting, and parent–child play sessions. The results showed an increase in parental awareness and competence in applying positive parenting at home, as well as improved communication and collaboration between teachers and families. Children demonstrated more independent, cheerful, and cooperative behavior, while teachers gained valuable experience in supporting families and strengthening their roles as facilitators of family-based learning. The program proved that a participatory approach effectively strengthened the synergy between educational institutions and parents, contributing to the moral and character development of young children. The outcomes were expected to serve as a model for sustainable parenting programs that were contextual, collaborative, and grounded in Islamic educational values.

Abstract

The study aims to explain the process of externalization, objectification, and internalization in the urf study of the implementation of ngumbai lawok. The research uses an ethnographic approach where data is taken by looking directly at the ceremonies and traditions to obtain details of the implementation carried out. Analysis of the data used is a descriptive analysis technique by describing the object's state under study. The results of this study describe ngumbai lawok is a form of traditional ceremony celebrated or carried out by the people of the West Coast as a form of gratitude to Allah swt to get fruitful results and avoid the calamity that will occur. The externalization process creates the ngumbai lawok ceremony, which is obtained based on his beliefs so far. The objectification process, which includes the ngumbai lawok ceremony, is obtained from the externalization process. Institutional agents consist of traditional leaders, community leaders, village heads, and fishing communities. The internalization process is explored in the name of the community again, perceiving and interpreting every meaning of the ngumbai lawok ceremony. Based on the urf theory review, ngumbai lawok is a form of gratitude in God's nature. In addition, it is a custom that has been accepted by the wider community, justified by considerations of common sense, brings good, and rejects damage. In ngumbai lawok, the request is also purely addressed to Allah and hopes for the blessing and salvation. In addition, in the ngumbai lawok ritual, in essence, the Coastal community only respects their previous ancestors and carries out traditions from generation to generation.

Abstract

The government focuses on the challenges senior vocational high schools (SMK) face in producing competent and employable graduates. Issues include a lack of curriculum alignment with industry demands, low absorption of graduates in the job market, and mismatched competencies with industry needs, leading to a lack of mental readiness for work among graduates. This research aims to test the soft skills abilities of students being taught with PjBL and conventional models with high and low self-efficacy and the interaction between learning models and self-efficacy towards students' soft skills abilities. This research uses a quasi-experimental design. The research subjects were class XI students at SMKN 1 Blitar. This study selected 33 students in the experimental class and 33 in the control class. Learning in the experimental and control classes was carried out in 6 meetings with multicamera material—analysis of relationship and interaction data between variables using the two-way ANOVA test. The research results show a difference in soft skills abilities among students taught with the PjBL model and what is taught conventionally soft skills in high and low self-efficacy, as well as an interaction between the PjBL model and self-efficacy toward soft skills abilities. The research limitation only supports soft skills learning outcomes.

Abstract

Thinking is a cognitive way of generating ideas for problem-solving decision-making strategies. This study aims to analyze and describe intuitive thinking processes in solving students' mathematical assignments about geometry based on Van Hiele's theory. The method used is descriptive qualitative. The research subjects were students of class VIIIA. The research location is one of the Madrasah Tsanawiyah in Pasuruan Regency. Credibility uses source data collection techniques using the VHGT test to determine the level of the subject, geometry problem tests, document studies, and interviews. The main instruments are researchers and supporters of geometry tests and interviews. The results of this study indicate that students who think intuitively through catalytic inference are obtained spontaneously and suddenly in completing the math tasks they face without using prior knowledge, and intuitively appear globally and use shortcuts. Whereas students who think intuitively with common sense are obtained directly and directly using the steps to complete mathematical tasks neatly and neatly, intuitively, the sequence of completing tasks appears by their experience and knowledge. Based on Van Hiele's level, students who think intuitively with catalytic inference are included in level 0 (visualization), and students who think intuitively with common sense are included in level 1 (analysis). Students who think intuitively with common sense can directly and immediately use the steps to complete math tasks neatly and neatly, intuitively appearing in the sequence of completing tasks according to their experience and knowledge. Abstract

Lack of understanding by students during teaching and learning activities is a problem experienced in learning. One of the causes is that the learning process is less effective in delivering learning, so student learning outcomes tend to be low. This study aimed to determine the effect of the snowball throwing learning model on Pythagorean theorem material on the mathematics learning outcomes of class VIII students at MTs Darul A'mal. The samples used in this research were classes VIII C and VIII D, each numbering 30 students. This type of research is a quasi-experimental quantitative research method (Quasi-Experimental Design) with one class as the experimental class and one as the control class. Data collection techniques include interviews, documentation and tests (pre-test and post-test). Tests were conducted to determine student learning outcomes before and after using the snowball-throwing learning model. This study concluded that the snowball-throwing learning model affected student learning outcomes for class VIII MTs Darul A'mal Darul A'mal Metro. This is evident from the results of data analysis from the t-test formula with a value of t-count = 2.072 > t-table = 2.069, then Ho is rejected, and Ha is accepted.

Abstract

This study aimed to: (1) develop numeracy learning videos appropriate for elementary school students; (2) determine the validity of the numeracy learning videos based on assessments from material, media, and language experts; (3) assess the practicality and attractiveness of the videos from the perspectives of teachers and students; and (4) identify the effect of using the videos on students’ numeracy skills. The research employed a Research and Development (R&D) method using the ADDIE model: Analysis, Design, Development, Implementation, and Evaluation. The subjects were elementary school students, teachers, and expert validators. The instruments included validation sheets, teacher and student response questionnaires, and numeracy skill tests. The results showed that the developed numeracy learning videos were highly valid (average score ≥ 4.5 out of 5), practical, and engaging for students. There was also a significant improvement in students’ numeracy skills after using the videos. In conclusion, the developed numeracy learning video was feasible for use as an instructional medium in elementary schools and is recommended for broader implementation.

Abstract

The low competence and power competitive graduates of college make Power absorb graduates in the field also low. As a result, many unemployed educated in various difficult areas get jobs. Importance of cultivating an entrepreneurial mentality for internalized students in frequent education called with edu-preneurship, Edupreneurship want to put concepts and attitudes entrepreneurship in the world of education. This thing took off from the reality trend of the graduate of College to look for work, not create field jobs. It's here thread red between education with entrepreneurship For change mindset and paradigm think students so that will appear to characteristics entrepreneurs like creativity, independence, and abstinence give up. Apart from believing in themselves, students must have a character that is task and result-oriented, that is is attitude trustworthy in operating work so that the result will satisfying. Executed processes and tasks with good and full trust, will give good results and assessments too. Character entrepreneur The other is brave take risk love challenge, and have soul leadership.
