Abstract

West is always grounded in empirical reality invites a number of intriguing questions, what about the non-empirical reality. Is not the reality that there is as it says in the Qur'an that genie natural and supernatural realm exists, it is not possible to study and produce a useful theory for the benefit of the people? Or whether people recognize the truth of non-empirical or metaphysical as a scientific truth that can be accounted for? Is actually a series of questions can be summarized into the question of: How epistemology of psychology Islam as a new scientific study? A series of actions in the framework of realization of the vision described the psychology of Islam as madhhab to five wanted to put a clear identity and firm, without mixed with Western psychology in terms of concept, the study and its methodology.

Abstract

The aims of this research is to determine the effect of Guided Inquiry model towards Biology learning outcomes This research is quasy experiment with posttest only with non-equivalent control group. Population in this research is all students from 5 class in XI grade MIPA of SMA Negeri 8 Surakarta. Samples of this research was taken by cluster purposive sampling technique with XI MIPA 4 as the control class and  XI MIPA 5 as the experiment class, with total participants in this research are 52 students. The experimental class uses Guided Inquiry model, meanwhile the control class uses conventional learning. Techniques of collecting data is using test, documentation, and observation. The research hypothesis test is using independent sample t-test assisted by SPSS 19 program with level of significance 0,05.  The results showed that cognitive domain has p-value 0,00 <sig. 0,004 and t-value 3,042> 1,673 t table; p-value affective domain 0,048 <sig. 0,05 and  t-value 2,023 > 1,673 t table; p-value psychomotor domain 0,00 <sig. 0,05 and t value 3,617 > 1,673 t table. Class who were learning through Guided Inquiry model, showed average value of learning outcomes is higher, compared to class who were learning through conventional model. The conclusion of this research is there is effect Guided Inquiry model towards Biology learning outcomes.

Abstract

The scope of this study relates to the reconstruction of the Sunda ethnic clothing, especially in Bandung marvelous fashion with the intention to reinvest the values of local wisdom Sundanese culture. On Sunda marvelous fashion reconstruction used an experimental method with the following stages: a. Making fashion design Menak Sunda, b. Selection of materials/ material, c. Manufacture of clothing Menak Sunda/ Bandung. Experimental method used to reintroduce a form of fashion Menak Bandung to the public. The results showed that clothing menak Sundanese source can be found in museums Prabu GESAN Ulun is Menak Clothing Bandung. Reconstruction fashion Menak also functions as a medium in instilling the values of local wisdom of Sundanese culture, especially related to the fashion area of Indonesia. Clothing is a cultural phenomenon in a culture, because it is through the visual language/ visualization of clothing, it can be studied, explored and revealed the values contained therein. It also can be a communication medium that has a historical past and the meaning of positive values for the local culture then submitted at the present or future.

Abstract

Communication skills is one of the important competences which needs to be trained continuously to compete in ASEAN Economic Community (AEC). Communication skills can be trained in education. In Indonesia, this skills is one of ten future needed competences for every student. The purpose of this research is to analyze the communication skills of students in biology class for XI grade of Y Senior High School in Madiun Regency. This research used descriptive method. The method of collecting data in this research was using non-test approach by analysis of learning implementation using non-participatory observation and documentation in pictures, audio, and video. The measurement of students; communication was obtained through scoring instrument with twelve indicators: 1) various data description, 2) descriptive relation data, 3) various meaning of data, 4) exploring the content of material with different ideas, 5) data validity, 6) differentiate data and conclusion, 7) clarifying questions, 8) ensuring friends’ question, 9) responding friends’ statement, 10) separating ideas, 11) revising opinion from friends’ input, 12) concluding interesting conclusion. The analysis of data used quantitative descriptive approach. The result of the analysis showed that from twelve indicators, only two indicators appears from students’ communication skills in learning biology. Those were indicator 8) 41.2% and indicator 9) 58.8%. Based on the analysis, it can be concluded that students’ communication skills in biology class from XI graders of Y Senior High School in Madiun Regency was relatively low. Based on the result of the research, there should be a development of learning design which can improve students’ communication skills.

Abstract

The research of nitric oxide scavenging by hemoglobin and blood pressure in preeclampsia had been done. Aims of this research were to measure methemoglobin level as an index nitric oxide and its correlation to blood pressure. Sixty pregnant were women involved in this study. Thirty subject were normal pregnancy and preeclampsia. Preeclampsia group were consist of 18 mild preeclampsia and 12 severe preeclampsia. The methods, to measure methemoglobin based on Evelyn and Malloy methods with spectrophotometer. Meanwhile, Blood pressure is measured with auscultation methods. The result showed that methemoglobin level, systolic and diastolic pressure preeclampsia higher than normal significantly. There is a positive correlation between methemoglobin level and blood pressure in mild preeclampsia. In severe preeclampsia, there is negative correlation between methemoglobin level and blood pressure. Beside that, correlation between methemoglobin level and sistolic pressure has positive correlation and negative correlation found between methemoglobin level and diastolic pressure in normal pregnancy. This study conclude that nitrite oxide scavenging activity by hemoglobin have correlation to bloodpressure change in normal pregnancy and preeclampsia.Telah dilakukan penelitian tentang aktivitas scavenging mtrit oksida oleh hemoglobin dan tekanan darah. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengukur kadar methemoglobin sebagai parameter nitrit oksida dan korelasinya dengan tekanan darah. Sebanyak 60 orang wanita hamil terlibat dalam penelitian ini. Pada subjek tersebut, 30 orang tergolong hamil normal dan 30 orang didignosis preeklampsia. Kelompok preeklampsia terdiri atas 18 orang preeklampsia ringan dan 12 orang preeklampsia berat. Metode pengukuran kadar methemoglobin digunakan metode Evelyn dan Malloy dan pengukuran tekanan darah dengan metode auskultasi. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa kadar methemoglobin, tekanan sistolik dan diastolik pada preeklampsia (ringan dan berat) lebih tinggi bermakna daripada tanpa preeklampsia. Terdapat korelasi positif antara kadar methemoglobin dengan tekanan sistolik dan diastolik preeklampsia ringan. Pada preeklampsia berat korelasi kadar methemoglobin dan tekanan sistolik dan diastolik bernilai negatif. Pada kehamilan normal korelasi kadar methemoglobin bernilai positif dengan tekanan sistolik, sedangkan terhadap tekanan diastolik, berkorelasi negatif. Kesimpulanpenelitiani ini adalah aktivitas scavengingmint oksid olehhemoglobin mempunyai korelasi terhadap perubahan tekanan darah pada kehamilan normal dan preeklampsia.

Abstract

AbstrakMasalah serius yang terjadi berkaitan dengan Wanita Tuna Susila (WTS) adalah semakin meningkatnya jumlah serta eksistensi Wanita Tuna Susila. Pembinaan keagamaan dilihat sebagai salah satu wadah atau media untuk memperbaiki dan mengembalikan kepribadian para wanita eks tuna susila sesuai dengan norma-norma dan ajaran syariat agama Islam yang berlaku. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode kualitatif deskriptik dengan tekhnik pengumpulan data menggunakan observasi dan dokumentasi. Hasil penelitian ini menyebutkan pola pembinaan dapat dilakukan dengan menggunakan metode pembiasaan. Metode pembiasaan dilakukan dalam kegiatan yang bersifat lahiriyah dan juga batiniyah. Kegiatan yang bersifat lahiriyah dan batiniyah tersebut meliputi Konseling, pembinaan mental, sholat berjamaah, belajar al qur’an dan mengikuti kajian / pengajian.

Abstract

AbstractFor developing the students’ capability in English language, IAIN Kudus, especially Ma’had Institute held Sekolah Bahasa for the students who get Bidik Misi scholarship. The objectives of this research were getting information related to the materials given in Sekolah Bahasa program, analyzing the role of the program to the students and  analyzing the problems in the program implementation. The research method used in this study was a qualitative descriptive method. Data was collected through observation, interview, questionnaire and document analysis were. The results of the research showed that: 1) the materials of Sekolah Bahasa were TOEFL, grammar, reading, pronunciation, academic writing, speech, translation and debate; 2) Sekolah Bahasa has important and big role to the students’ English capability because they can get the knowledge related to English that they do not have such materials or subjects in the lecture program; and 3) the problems in that program were the big number of the students in the classroom, the lack of students’ motivation, the different students’ background, and teaching/learning method.

Abstract

Kegiatan yang bersifat lahiriyah dan batiniyah tersebut meliputi Konseling, pembinaan mental, sholat berjamaah, belajar al qur’an dan mengikuti kajian / pengajian.
