Abstract

This study aims to find out why the elderly are interested in memorizing the Al-Qur'an. This research uses a qualitative approach. The form of this research is a case study, a case study is a form of study that is very suitable for studying an event or situation in more depth, And to get a more comprehensive understanding of individual aspects, events, or situations and the focus of the study is the elderly who memorize Al-Qur'an in the Istiqomah Giwangan Umbulharjo Taklim Council, Yogyakarta City. The data were collected using the methods of documentation, observation and interviews. The results of this study indicate that the elderly are interested in memorizing the Al-Qur'an because they want to learn more about the Qur'an by memorizing. In this study, it was also found that age did not prevent them from memorizing the Qur'an. A strong desire for the elderly to memorize the Al-Qur'an is that they want to gain many benefits because as a basis for religion, reach for glory, And carry out obligations, all based on motivation to worship God. Meanwhile, the method used by the elderly in memorizing Al-Qur'an uses the Wahdah method

Abstract

This study attempts to described in detail and clear about planting value character inlearning education Pancasila and Citizenship covered planning, the implementationof the, assesment, obstacles faced and a solution that attempts at constraints. The kindof research qualitative with the design case study. The research phase in MadrasahAliyah Muhammadiyah Klaten. Technique data collection with the methods interview,observation and study the contents of doecumentation, with informants students,teachers, head madrasah, deputy head of madrasah affairs curriculum , and theother related. Technique data analysis model interactive (display at the interactivemodel of analysis), validity data using a method of triangulation source. Theresults of research is planting the values of the character in the learning educationPancasila and Citizenship in Madrasah Aliyah Muhammadiyah Klaten that havebeen carried out with an implement the theory of learning involving planning oflearning, the implementation of interactive learning, evaluation which includes theaspect of the attitude (affective), the aspect of knowledge (cognitive), and aspectskill (psichomotoryc). Also some berriers faced in the planting the values of goodcharacter from students in the form of the nature of character of students that lazybum, the influence of students as well as from a teacher in the form of limitationsin designing lesson plans, make use of technology and the source or a mediumthat variatif as well as the curriculum. A solution which is being undertaken to theresistance of the student with the approach in the form of psichologis, assistance,the guidance and his exemplary, include students in axtracurricular activities andorganization of Muhammadiyah, gifts (reward) and punishment. While solution forteachers by involving in training 2013 Curriculum, MGMP and well as counsellingit.

Abstract

This study aimed to describe the character-based education management Javanese culture as well as enabling and inhibiting factors in TK Negeri Pembina Surakarta. This study uses qualitative research, research design using qualitative descriptive method. Implementation of this research is in the TK Negeri Pembina Surakarta. The data used in this study are primary data and secondary data. Source of the data obtained through interviews and documentation. As a guest speaker in this study was the Principal Teachers and Parents / guardians of students. The validity of the data used in this research is triangulation and source triangulation method. Data were analyzed using interactive analysis. Based on the results of data analysis and discussion we concluded that: 1) The management of education-based character of Javanese culture in TK Negeri Pembina Surakarta carried out by adjusting the curriculum and educational materials charged Javanese culture integrates the material elements of the arts, languages and social systems of Javanese culture, delivering materials charged the value of honesty, humility, discipline, courtesy, cooperation, caring, and responsibility; and deliver material which imparts the principles of respect, harmony, character wise and honest, introspective, low self-esteem, as well as upload form-ungguh and good manners as a form of character Java. 2) The supporting factors in the management of Javanese culture-based character education is education offices and local governments, provision of facilities, committee and parents of students, school management, as well as students coming from the Java community. Factors inhibiting Javanese culture-based education is the lack of standard guidelines for the implementation of educational programs that charged Javanese culture, interests learners to Javanese culture, as well as operate and circumstances on ignorance educators learn less supportive media to use.

Abstract

The purposes of this research are to find out the available contribution and to measure the teachers’ learning capacity and need of achievement to students’ responsibility, students’ responsibility to the self-directed learning and the teachers’ learning capacity, need of achievement and students’ responsibility to the self-directed learning in Civic Education on the Roudlotus Saiddiyah Gunung Pati Semarang Integrated Islamic Junior High School. This is a quantitative research. The location of this research on the Roudlotus Saiddiyah Gunung Pati Semarang Integrated Islamic Junior High School. This research is begun in the end of the second semester academic year of 2012/2013. The samples are 114 for the population as many as 172 with 5% error. Technique of sampling is used proportional sampling. Technique of collecting data is used questioner. The results of this research are 1) there is a weak and significant contribution from the teachers’ learning capacity and need of achievement to the students’ responsibility in learning Civic Education on the Roudlotus Saiddiyah Gunung Pati Semarang Integrated Islamic Junior High School, 2) there is a weak and significant contribution from the students’ responsibility to the students’ self-directed learning in learning Civic Education on the Roudlotus Saiddiyah Gunung Pati Semarang Integrated Islamic Junior High School, 3) there is a weak and significant contribution from the teachers’ learning capacity, the need of achievement and the students’ responsibility to the students’ self-directed learning in learning Civic Education on the Roudlotus Saiddiyah Gunung Pati Semarang Integrated Islamic Junior High School.

Abstract

Abstrak: penelitian ini membahas karakteristik efektivitas kepemimpinan  sekolah. pendekatan penelitian adalah eksplorasi kualitatif observasi dan critical review di sragen. hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa ada enam karakteristik kepemimpinan sekolah yang efektif: membentuk masa depan, mengamankan pertanggungjawaban, pembelajaran dan pengajaran memimpin, mengelola organisasi, pimpinan mengembangkan diri dan bekerja dengan orang lain, memperkuat komunitassehingga dibutuhkan pemimpin yang mengarah pada upaya untuk membangun sekolah yang efektif dengan mengatur: pengembangan sumber daya manusia, partisipasi masyarakat, lingkungan sekolah melalui penyediaan fasilitas dan infrastruktur pendidikan. Juga pengembangan profesional guru, prestasi siswa dan kinerja guru, pemantauan kemajuan siswa, pembiayaan pendidikan yang adil, dan komitmen pemerintah daerah untuk memberikan apresiasi kepada tenaga kependidikan. Itu Refleksi pada praktik-praktik inti kepemimpinan sekolah yang sukses menunjukkan bahwa gaya dan teknik kepemimpinan pada dasarnya adalah manifestasi dari praktik penentuan arah yang mampu memicu dua praktik inti lainnya, yaitu mengembangkan orang dan mendesain ulang organisasi.Abstract: This study discusses the characteristics of the effectiveness of school leadership. The research approach is qualitative exploration observation and critical review in Sragen. The results showed that there are six characteristics of effective school leadership: shaping the future, securing accountability, learning and teaching leading, managing organizations, leading to developing and working with others, strengthening the community so that leaders are needed who lead to efforts to build effective schools with regulates: human resource development, community participation, school environment through the provision of educational facilities and infrastructure. Also teacher professional development, student achievement and teacher performance, monitoring student progress, equitable education funding, and the commitment of local governments to give appreciation to education staff. The reflection on the core practices of successful school leadership shows that leadership styles and techniques are basically manifestations of directing practices that are capable of triggering two other core practices, namely developing people and redesigning organizations.

Abstract

The paper aims at analyzing teachers’ poor professionalism of writing a scientific paper at Muhammadiyah Senior High School in Central Java. It studies on the phenomena of teachers’ weaknesses, comprehension, efforts and constraints on writing a scientific paper. The study belongs to qualitative research by applying a descriptive approach in examining the problem. The data are got with an in-depth interview, observation, and document analysis. The data sources are teachers, headmaster, a chief of High and Preliminary Education Assembly, and educational experts. Data validation is conducted by methods and sources triangulation. The data analysis applies the interactive model.The research result shows that most teachers have a limited comprehension of scientific paper concepts, skill on conducting classroom action research and writing a scientific paper. Also, they also have some constraints such as lack of writing motivation, school infrastructure, and internet connection access. In eliminating those problems, firstly Muhammadiyah senior high school (SMA/MA/SMK) teachers of Sukoharjo district have done some activities to develop their professional competence especially in the field of writing a scientific paper. In supporting their efforts, it needs a concrete step of stakeholder to simplify of all regarding with learning administrative activities, facilities adequacy motivation, the initiative of Assembly of Elementary and Middle Education, and others sponsorship, as well as the guidance of university.

Abstract

Teachers as education providers play a role in improving student learning outcomes. The quality of teacher performance is very decisive on the quality of educational outcomes because the teacher is the figure who most often interacts directly with students during the learning process. The purpose of the study was to determine the contribution of transformational leadership, education and training, and educational digital innovation to teacher performance in learning at SMP Muhammadiyah Ngawi. This type of research is causal associative research using a quantitative approach. Places of research in several SMP Muhammadiyah Ngawi. The data analysis technique used multiple linear regression analysis. The results showed that transformational leadership had a positive and significant effect on teacher performance with a significance value of 0.010 < 0.05. The education and training variables have a positive and significant effect on teacher performance with a significance value of 0.013 < 0.05. Furthermore, the education and training has a positive and significant effect on teacher performance 0.001 < 0.05. Taken together, the variables of the transformational leadership, the education and training and the digital innovation on teacher performance are simultaneously influential. Suggestions for the teacher research at SMP Muhammadiyah Ngawi are expected to help each other with the problems of other members in providing information related to teacher performance.

Abstract

This study aims to describe the planning of Teacher Creativity in Learning in the New Normal at SDN 3 Bulusan, to describe the implementation of Teacher Creativity in Learning in the New Normal at SDN 3 Bulusan, to describe the evaluation of Teacher Creativity in Learning in the New Normal at SDN 3 Bulusan. The method used in this research is to use a qualitative research approach design. The type of research used in this descriptive qualitative research is the place of research at SDN 3 Bulusan Karangdowo with the object of research being teachers and students, the research subject is learning in the classroom with data sources from interviews, documents, and observations. The results of the research are teacher creativity in the use of online learning media at SDN Bulusan, classroom and subject teachers adjust learning media with material that will be delivered to students to achieve learning objectives. The teacher's creativity in using learning methods at SDN 3 Bulusan is that the teacher can use the question and answer method to make learning interesting and not boring, so that students take an active role in online learning. The obstacle faced by teachers at SDN 3 Bulusan lies in its implementation which makes online learning less effective and efficient. 4. Education is a crucial factor in determining whether or not character education is implemented. Abstract

For the Indonesian people, Pancasila is the basis of the state and way of life, as well as the state ideology. In practice, it appears that the practice of Pancasila values is still weak and concerning. If this phenomenon is not handled seriously, it can become a threat to the existence of Pancasila in society, nation, and state. Indonesia is a country whose society is multicultural, consisting of various religions, races, tribes, cultures, and ethnicities, but has noble values that have been passed down from our ancestors to be preserved, namely Pancasila which unites the Indonesian nation. The Indonesian state consists of regions that have different local wisdom values. These values become guidelines and are cared for by all elements of society because they provide convenience in realizing national values. Even though each region has different local wisdom values, the Indonesian people remain united, namely ‘Bhineka Tunggal Ika’. There are many Javanese local wisdoms and for people who uphold the values of Javanese local wisdom, consciously or unconsciously, they have contributed significantly to the practice of Pancasila. The writing of this article is intended to describe the implementation of Javanese local wisdom values as a form of strengthening the practice of Pancasila. The main issues raised include the values of Javanese local wisdom, the practice of Pancasila values, and the implementation of Javanese local wisdom values as a form of strengthening the experience of Pancasila values. Materials and methods of writing articles use library research which is sourced from primary and secondary data, namely from expert informants, books, and relevant research journals. Finally, in this paper it is stated that the implementation of Javanese local wisdom values will be able to strengthen the practice of Pancasila values in the midst of a multicultural Indonesian society.
