Abstract

Perkembangan teknologi digital pada era Society 5.0 mendorong dunia pendidikan untuk mengintegrasikan teknologi dalam proses pembelajaran. Salah satu bentuk inovasi yang dapat diterapkan adalah penggunaan media digital interaktif dalam pembelajaran Ilmu Pengetahuan Sosial (IPS). Media digital interaktif, seperti video pembelajaran, animasi, simulasi, peta digital, dan aplikasi edukatif, mampu membantu peserta didik dalam memahami konsep sosial, sejarah, dan geografi secara lebih konkret serta menarik. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengkaji pemanfaatan media digital interaktif dalam pembelajaran IPS serta pengaruhnya terhadap motivasi dan pemahaman belajar siswa. Metode yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah studi literatur (library research) dengan menelaah berbagai sumber ilmiah, seperti buku, artikel jurnal, dan hasil penelitian yang relevan. Hasil kajian menunjukkan bahwa penggunaan media digital interaktif dapat meningkatkan motivasi belajar, partisipasi aktif siswa, serta pemahaman konsep sosial secara lebih mendalam. Meskipun demikian, penerapan media digital dalam pembelajaran masih menghadapi beberapa kendala, di antaranya keterbatasan sarana dan prasarana teknologi serta rendahnya kompetensi literasi digital guru. Oleh karena itu, diperlukan upaya peningkatan kompetensi guru serta penyediaan fasilitas teknologi yang memadai agar pemanfaatan media digital interaktif dalam pembelajaran IPS dapat berjalan secara optimal di era Society 5.0.

Abstract

The development of science and technology which is growing rapidly greatly affects industries that produce machine elements that use steel as the main raw material, steel is widely used in construction. This has caused many mechanics to join steel using the SMAW process without regard to the welding method and mechanical properties which causes the steel not to be connected perfectly, thereby endangering safety. The purpose of this study was to see the effect of seam variation V, K and X and normalizing, quenching and no heat treatment on the mechanical properties of welded joints in SUP9 steel. From the variation of seam and heat treatment, there were 9 combinations with 3 repetitions. The results of this study indicate that the weld seam and heat treatment affect the tensile strength and impact price of SUP9 steel. The most optimal treatment to produce high tensile strength is seam variation X with quenching heat treatment with ASTM E8 specimen shape having an average tensile stress value of 84.23 Kgf/mm2, and for the most optimal treatment to produce high impact values ​​is variation of seam X with normalizing heat treatment with specimen form ASTM E23 has an average impact value of 1.11 J/mm2.

Abstract

Problems in the transmission box of the Drilling Machine 438-02-814-0925 type (0.75 HP, 230/400V, 1425 rpm, produced in 1988) are the degradation of mechanical components for the pulley, V-belt, and rolling bearing. The purpose of maintenance and repair planning is to obtain maintenance costs, maintenance schedules in the period 2026, and the ratio of maintenance costs to profits. The maintenance and repair planning method includes collecting previous maintenance data; application of the inspection-replace-repair-overhaul (IRRO) method; evaluation of the working conditions of components, especially on the pulley, V-belt, spindle pulley (driven pulley), and rolling bearing; prediction of component service life; prediction of repairman costs; prediction of supporting equipment that will be used in maintenance; prediction of spare part replacement time or reinstallation of components after repair; estimation of maintenance and repair costs in 2026; and calculation of the ratio of maintenance costs to profits. The results of maintenance and repair planning obtained maintenance costs in 2026 amounting to Rp 4,627,000 with an estimated Drilling Machine rental rate of Rp 75,000/hour which has the opportunity to be rented for 400 hours/year, and a maintenance cost to profit ratio of 15.42% which implies that the Drilling Machine still has the opportunity to generate profits and is suitable for use in the coming years.

Abstract

The heavy weight of the 3-axis router gantry arm and the high cost of manufacturing are the problems faced. The purpose of manufacturing is to obtain low weight and manufacturing costs. The method of manufacturing the router gantry arm includes: design of the arm with a width of 350, a height of 170 mm, a thickness of 12 mm; making a composite mold of the gantry arm measuring 350 × 170 × 12 mm from wood; preparation of 5 pieces of Aluminum pipes as reinforcement with a diameter of 6 mm, a length of 120 mm and 140 mm which are bent to the side in the router shaft section; composite molding with epoxy resin and aluminum pipe reinforcement arranged parallel with a distance of 30 mm from each other in an upright position, except for the position where the hole is bent to the side; making a Router shaft hole with a diameter of 20 mm and other binding holes with a diameter of 10 mm and 6 mm; and quality and dimension inspection. The manufacturing results are a router gantry arm with a width of 350, a height of 170 mm, a thickness of 12 mm with a weight of about 680 g or 44.90% lighter than solid aluminum material; The total manufacturing cost is IDR 108.125/unit, and the production process duration is 310 minutes/unit, which implies that the weight of the pole arm is reduced to around 55% compared to solid aluminum material and the price is cheaper by one-third.

Abstract

Sports equipment Barbells made of cement concrete require more volume than barbells made of cast iron as a problem faced. The production goal is to produce a 5 kg barbell, measuring a total length of 23 cm, a handle length of 13 cm, a diameter of 3 cm and a load diameter of 9 cm. Production methods include: barbell design; sand mold design; making sand molds for one print to obtain 2 units; preparation of labor; preparation of raw materials for cast iron, coke, limestone, ladel / carrier kowi, pouring molten cast iron into the mold, and adhesive / binder; melting cast iron; pouring cast iron into the heated mold; dismantling the mold and cutting the pouring bowl and riser; checking the weight of the barbell and its correction; finishing with spray paint according to the order; and checking the quality, dimensions, and packaging. The production results are in the form of a barbell weighing 5 kg 20 g with a total length of 23 cm and a handle diameter of 3 cm x 13 cm, a barbell load diameter of 9 cm, a total production cost of IDR 50,000 / unit, and a production duration of 30 minutes / unit which implies that the production of barbells is feasible to be carried out by medium to large industries / businesses, because it requires sufficient capital, especially for the cost of the Kupola furnace.

Abstract

The non-ergonomics of garden chairs for users, the lack of strength of garden chairs made of gray cast iron, and the lack of production efficiency are the problems faced. The purpose of fabrication is to obtain a gray cast iron garden chair measuring 80 cm high, 70 cm wide, 4 cm thick which is ergonomic, strong enough, and efficient in its production process. The fabrication method includes: processing of student anthropometric data, determining material strength using the beam theory approach, determining freezing time using Chvorinov's theory, designing garden chairs, making sand casting using green sand molds, preparing gray cast iron raw materials, melting gray cast iron, pouring molten metal into molds and cooling, dismantling the mold and cutting the casting bowl and riser, finishing, and checking quality and dimensions. The fabrication results are in the form of a gray cast iron garden chair measuring 80 cm high, 70 cm wide, 4 cm thick which is ergonomic, strong enough, and efficient in its production process, the total production cost is IDR 640,000/unit, the production process duration is 120 minutes/unit with the implication that the garden chair is comfortable to use and strong enough for the weight of the person sitting on it.

Abstract

The problem faced lies in the excavator bucket nails that do not have standardized manufacturing procedures in the local casting industry, resulting in inconsistent product quality and high dependence on imported components. The purpose of fabrication is to obtain excavator bucket nails made of high Manganese cast steel (hadfield steel) measuring 300×90×105 mm with a hole diameter of 30 mm. The fabrication method includes: purchasing a 300×90×105 mm excavator bucket nail mold using one-piece casting method, preparing ASTM A128 Grade B-2 high Manganese steel, melting the steel with an induction furnace at a pouring temperature of 1480-1510°C, pouring the molten steel into a sand mold, dismantling and cutting the casting bowl and riser, drilling the dowel holes in stages up to a diameter of 30 mm, machining, finishing, solution annealing heat treatment at a temperature of 1080°C for 60 minutes, quenching in water, preparing and testing Charpy specimens, and inspecting the quality and dimensions of the product. The fabrication results are in the form of high manganese cast steel excavator bucket nails (hadfield steel) measuring 300×90×105 mm with a hole diameter of 30 mm, the total production cost is IDR 315,000/unit, the production process duration is 240 minutes/unit which implies that the excavator bucket nails can be used according to standards.

Abstract

Floating and not sinking quickly fishing nets that have a small chance of catching fish are problems faced in the waters. The purpose of making is to obtain a cone weight with a length of 28.5 mm and a width of 28.5 mm, a height of 31 mm, 25 g of lead material totaling 80 pieces, around the fishing net made of nylon thread with a diameter of 1 mm, with a radius of 3 m, so that the number of weights becomes 2 kg and the weight of the net including the main rope is 3 kg which totals 5 kg. The manufacturing method includes: net weight design, making a mold containing 10 pieces of lead at a time, preparing lead material and casting equipment, casting lead into the mold, dismantling the mold and cutting the casting channel, connecting channels between weights and cutting risers, drilling 3 mm diameter weights, and checking the quality and dimensions of the net weights. The result of the production is a cone weight for fishing nets made of 25 g of black lead with a weight deviation of around 2 g, a total production cost of Rp. 950,-/piece, and a process duration of 2 minutes/piece which implies that for one fishing net 80 pieces can be installed with an estimated total weight of 2 kg of weight and a total weight of the net equipment of around 5 kg.

Abstract

The problems faced in threshing corn kernels from the cob are still done manually which requires a lot of energy and time. The purpose of making a corn thresher is to obtain lower energy and time requirements for threshing corn kernels. The method of making a corn thresher includes: protrusion design from an M6 L-key bolt measuring 10×25 mm with a strength of 370 MPa, installation of a 19 mm protrusion position in a spiral at an angle of 45o through a bolt thread on a threshing rotor with a diameter of 200 mm and a length of 600 mm with a total of 48 protrusions, making threshing device components with an angle of 15o, assembling components, testing the device at a rotor speed of 700 rpm from a motor speed of 1400 rpm which is reduced by a V belt and Pulley for hybrid corn variety Nusa-01 with a maximum water content of 14%, a corn fruit diameter of about 50 mm and a length of about 20 cm, evaluation of the device and threshing results. The result of making corn thresher is a cylindrical protrusion from an M6 L-key bolt measuring 10×25 mm with a strength of 370 MPa, the position of the 19 mm protrusion is spirally angled at 45o through the bolt thread on the thresher rotor with a diameter of 200 mm and a length of 600 mm, the number of protrusions is 48 pieces, the production cost is IDR 212,000, the duration of the production process is 240 minutes/unit which implies that corn can be threshed with corn kernel destruction of less than 7%.

Abstract

Lack of turbulence in mixing between air and fuel in the combustion chamber cylinder of a 100 cm3 4 stroke Otto engine is a problem faced. The purpose of making is to obtain a piston surface contour that produces optimal turbulence in mixing between air and fuel in the combustion chamber cylinder. The manufacturing method includes: piston surface contour design, experiments with several contour shapes on the impact of turbulence (trial and error) and data analysis, selection of piston material from AA2618 with a diameter of 50 mm and a height of 15 mm, comparison of power results from the results of various contour shapes from previous research, making a wavy contour from the inlet valve direction to the exhaust valve facing the hill height of 0.2 mm and a valley depth of 0.2 mm using CNC milling machining with a distance between hills of 3.5 mm, combustion trials in the cylinder with a comparison of power results between with and without a piston surface contour. The manufacturing results are in the form of a piston made of AA2618 material with a wavy contour surface measuring 0.2 m high and 0.2 mm valley from the inlet valve to the exhaust valve with a production cost of Rp. 100.000/unit, a production process duration of 30 minutes/unit which implies that the power of a 100 cm3 motor can increase by around 12%.
