Abstract

Safety riding adalah sebuah upaya yang dilakukan untuk mengurangi bahaya dan memaksimalkan keamanan saat berkendara sehingga tidak membahayakan pengguna jalan yang lain. Driver ojek online membutuhkan keahlian, konsentrasi, tenaga dan keseimbangan drivernya dalam berkendara. Sehingga safety riding merupakan aspek penting untuk mencegah kecelakaan lalu lintas. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui faktor-faktor yang berhubungan dengan perilaku safety riding driver ojek online di Kota Semarang. Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian kuantitatif dengan desain cross sectional. Sampel dari penelitian ini adalah driver ojek online sebanyak 54 responden yang diambil secara incidental sampling dengan diuji menggunakan uji statistik chi-square dengan α = 0,05. Berdasarkan hasil uji chi square, faktor yang berhubungan dengan perilaku safety riding adalah pengetahuan (p-value = 0.048), kondisi kendaraan (p-value = 0.048), dan pemakaian APD (p-value = 0,006). sedangkan faktor yang tidak berhubungan adalah masa berkendara (p-value = 0.075), training berkendara (p-value = 0.059), dan motivasi (p-value = 0.105). Dari hasil yang didapatkan diharapkan adanya peran dari perusahaan untuk melakukan sosialisasi lebih lanjut tentang pentingnya training berkendara dan melakukan pemantauan secara berkala terhadap kondisi kendaraan driver agar tetap laik jalan. Driver juga diharapkan untuk tetap mentaati peraturan lalu lintas dan meningkatkan kesadaran untuk berperilaku aman saat berkendara.

Abstract

Low Back Pain (LBP) is a painful sensation that is felt on the back, muscles, nerves, lower ribs number 12 to the inner end of the buttock folds, and can be accompanied by spreading pain in the legs. Being a truck driver runs the risk of muscle disorders that can lead to LBP. The causative factors come from personal factors, which are age, years of service, and body mass index. And working factors as well, which are driving duration and work posture. From the results of interviews, many truck drivers complained about pain in the lower back. Purpose of this study is to analyze the correlation between individual factors, sitting posture, and driving duration with complaints of low back pain (LBP) in truck driver CV Semeru Putra Semarang. Methods of this research is using an explanatory research and cross sectional approach. For the sampling, the Lemeshow formula is used in order to get 46 truck drivers and done online using the google form. This research instrument is a questionnaire, using the BRIEF Survey to measure working posture for back, a VAS sheet (Visual analoque scale) to describe subjective pain complaints and posture photos while driving. The results showed that the truck drivers complained about LBP in the light category 76,1%, and 23.9% heavy. From the results statistic test of the chi-square analysis, it was found that there was a significant relationship between LBP complaints in truck drivers with body mass index (α = 0.013) and driving duration (α = 0.047). Meanwhile, those that were not related were years of service (α = 0.447), back work posture (α =0.474), and age (α =0.247). Suggestions for truck drivers to lose weight, stretch, do routine engine maintenance and rest when tired.

Abstract

Dental and Oral Hospital (RSGM) is a building that has a high risk of fire. If RSGM experiences a fire, it will have a very severe impact. Therefore we need an active fire protection system to prevent and cope with fire hazards. The purpose of this study was to analyze the active fire protection system that is in X Dental and Oral Hospital in Bandung City referring to the Minister of Public Works Regulation No. 26/2008 and the Hospital Infrastructure Technical Guidelines, Active Fire Protection Systems. This type of research is a descriptive study using qualitative methods. Data collection was carried out by means of in-depth  interviews online via telephone or chat, involving three main informants and three triangulation informants The results shows that the active fire protection system at X Oral and Dental Hospital was good enough at several points, such as: there was a written policy; has conducted hazard potential identification and risk assessment; The requirements and laws referred to by the hospital are not only K3 in general, but there are already special regulations regarding fire protection systems and have collaborated with the Fire Service and third parties related to APAR; The hospital already has a fire disaster management team. But it is also balanced with existing deficiencies such as policies that have not been conveyed to all workers and there are still active fire protection system equipment that are not yet available. Researchers suggest shows things to be improved in disseminating of the policies to all staffs and in providing all equipments of the active fire protection system.

Abstract

Aviation safety is the main point that must be considered in the operation of the aircraft. Birds and wild animals have a very serious impact on aircraft operations and even potentially endanger flight safety. Jenderal Ahmad Yani International Airport Semarang has 2 unconfirmed bird and wild animal incidents between 2014 until 2017. Wildlife hazard management in the aerodrome is very important to reduce the impact of hazards that might be caused by wild birds and animal hazards. The purpose of this study was to analyze the application of wildlife hazard management at Jenderal Ahmad Yani International Airport Semarang as an aviation safety system. This research is qualitative research with a descriptive approach with the study of company documents and field observations. The subjects of this study were 4 main informants, including 2 Environment and terminal landside officers and 2 Apron movement controllers and also 2 triangulation informants, including 1 SMS & OSH officer and 1 SMS & OSH section head. The instruments in this study used in-depth interview guidelines and observation sheets. Based on the results of the study, Jenderal Ahmad Yani International Airport Semarang, in general, has Jenderal Ahmad Yani International Airport, Semarang, in general, has implemented wildlife hazard management in accordance with Regulation of the Director-General of Civil Aviation Number: SKEP / 42 / III / 2010 about advisory circular cars 139-03, wildlife hazard management on or in the vicinity of an aerodrome as an aviation safety system.

Abstract

Minor Injury is a work accident that is experienced by someone while working and did not cause a loss of productive work time of more than 2x24 hours that can be cured with first aid kit. However, minor injuries cannot be ignored, if there is no identification of the problem it can lead to major injury or even fatality. According to the Loss Causation Theory Model, work accidents are caused by direct causes (Unsafe Action and Unsafe Conditions) and basic causes (human factors and occupational factors). Most of the Tofu X Factory workers had experienced minor injuries. This study aimed to analyze the correlation between work duration, physical workload and work fatigue with the occurrence of minor injuries. The type of this research was quantitative with cross-sectional studies. The sample of this study was the entire population of 35 workers. The instruments of this study were questionnaire sheets for work duration variables and IFRC standard questionnaires for work fatigue variables, measurement of physical workload variables using SNI 7269: 2009 standards. Data analysis used was Chi Square test. The results showed that there were 60% workers experienced minor injury events, 57,1% workers had over work duration, 65,7% workers had heavy physical workloads, and 80% workers experienced moderate fatigue. The results of the chi-square analysis showed that there was no correlation between work duration (p = 0.163) with the occurrence of minor injuries. There was a correlation between physical workload (p = 0.026), and work fatigue (p = 0.028) with the occurrence of minor injuries. Researchers advised the Tofu X Factory to provide drinking water spot and first-aid kit close to the work area.

Abstract

Social rehabilitation of persons with intellectual disabilities is an effort to restore and develop the abilities of individuals with disabilities in intellectual functions. carried out by social workers assisted by assistants and other professions who can support the rehabilitation process. In implementing services, social rehabilitation workers have a large workload both physically and mentally and require special expertise in their implementation. . The purpose of this study was to analyze factors related to job satisfaction and productivity of social rehabilitation workers with intellectual disabilities. The research design used was an observational analytic method with a cross sectional approach. The population in this study were 107 workers at BBRSPDI Kartini in Temanggung. The sample in this study amounted to 40 people using a purposive sampling method, namely workers who are directly related to the social rehabilitation process of persons with intellectual disabilities at BBRSPDI Kartini in Temanggung. The instruments used were questionnaires and observation sheets. Based on the results of the rank sparment statistical test, it shows that there is a correlation between work motivation (ρ-value = 0.008), supervision (ρ-value = 0.002), co-workers (ρ-value = 0,000), working environment conditions (ρ-value = 0,000) and salary (ρ-value = 0.001) with job satisfaction. The work productivity variable shows that there is a correlation between work motivation (ρ-value = 0.044), supervision (ρ-value = 0.008), and salary (ρ-value = 0.020) with work productivity, but there is no correlation between coworkers (ρ- value = 0.207) and working environment conditions (ρ-value = 0.237) on work productivity

Abstract

Workers who;useuhand-held vibratory devices have the potential to experience occupational diseases, especially Hand Arm Vibration Syndrome (HAVS). Thisistudy wasaaimed to analyzejthe relationshipnbetween theafactors;of age, length of service, length and exposure to arm vibration and complaints of;Hand;Arm;Vibration Syndrome in;workers.uThe method used in this research was a literature review study. The literature were conducted online through several website or internet sites such asResearchgate, ScienceDirect, and Google Scholar. This research was conducted on 11 articles consisting of 5 national and 6 international articles. The resultuofvthis studyuindicate thatuthe factor of age, length of service, length and  exposure to arm vibration have a significant relationship with complain of hand arm vibration syndrome in workers. From all research, article obtained related to factor of age, length of service, length and  exposure to arm vibration have a significant relationship with complain of HAVS.

Abstract

The implementation of the occupational safety and health management system is important to control the incidence of work accidents in a company. Work accidents are unexpected and undesirable events which can disrupt work process and work business. This study was aimed to analyze the relationship between job stresses, safety behaviour and supervisor with minor injuries in construction site. The method used in this research was the Literature Review Comparative Study. The literatures were conducted online through several trusted websites or internet sites such as Sciendirect, JSTOR, ProQuest, and Google Scholar.  This research was carried out on 15 articles consisting of 7 national articles and 8 international articles. Articles were analyzed bivariately and processed through stages in the form of editing, organizing, analyzing and disemination. The study concludes that the relationship between job stress and the minor accidents is stated to have a significant relationship, there is only one article that states the opposite. The relationship between safety behavior and supervision with minor accident events is concluded to have a very significant relationship that reviewed from all related articles.

Abstract

Industri konstruksi memiliki risiko kecelakaan industri yang tinggi dan sebagian besar disebabkan oleh perilaku tidak aman dan tidak melakukan safety behavior. Safety behavior adalah perilaku yang mendukung praktik dan aktivitas keselamatan di tempat kerja, untuk mencegah terjadinya kecelakaan kerja. Safety behavior dipengaruhi oleh pengetahuan dan kemampuan perilaku tertentu, serta motivasi individu untuk melakukan perilaku tersebut. Berdasarkan teori Antecedents-Behaviour-Consequence (ABC), safety behavior pekerja dikaitkan dengan faktor anteseden dan konsekuensi. Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk menganalisis hubungan antara pengetahuan, penerapan prosedur kerja, punishment dan stres kerja dengan safety behavior. pada pekerja konstruksi. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode analitik observasional dan desain studi cros-sectional. Besar sampel pada penelitian ini sebanyak 60 orang pekerja konstruksi yang dilakukan dengan menggunakan metode accidental sampling. Instrumen penelitian adalah lembar kuesioner untuk pengetahuan, prosedur kerja dan punishment, DASS 21 (Depresi Anxiety Stress Scale 21) kuesioner untuk stres kerja dan, lembar observasi CBC (Critical Behavior Checklist). Hasil penelitian menunjukkan ada hubungan antara penerapan prosedur kerja, (p-value= 0,001), punishment (p-value= 0,011), dan stres kerja (p-value= 0,035) dengan safety behavior dan tidak ada korelasi antara safety behavior dengan pengetahuan (p-value= 0,111). Perusahaan harus melakukan pengawasan kepada pekerja dalam menerapkan perilaku keselamatan di tempat kerja dan juga memberikan rewards dan punishment untuk meningkatkan safety behavior pada pekerja.

Abstract

Traffic accidents are still a serious problem in Indonesia, where cases tend to increase every year. Motorcycles are the type of vehicle that dominates traffic accidents that occur. One group of motorcycle riders who have a high risk of having an accident is an online motorcycle taxi driver. For online motorcycle taxi drivers, traffic accidents are work accidents. This study aims to analyze the relationship between safety riding behavior and work stress on accidents among online motorcycle taxi drivers in the X Tembalang Community. A cross sectional approach and data analysis using the chi-square method. The data was taken using a questionnaire instrument with the number of samples determined through the total sampling method of 30 people. The results showed that as many as 53.3% of respondents had safe driving behavior and as many as 70% of respondents had moderate work stress levels and the rest had low work stress levels. There was a relationship between safety riding behavior and work accidents (p-value = 0.017), there was no relationship between work stress and work accidents (p-value = 0.389) on online motorcycle taxi drivers in the X Tembalang community. The company should supervise the implementation of rider partner safety riding and involve the driver partner in setting policies. Riders should also implement and remind each other about safety riding and keep in touch to create a good psychological work environment to reduce work stress levels.
