Abstract

Various things from previous research studies have been attempted to build mathematical connections and their uses from various types of indicators of mathematical connections and a sense of self-confidence. So the purpose of this study is to classify the types of mathematical connections and students' self-confidence. The method used in this study is the SLR (Systematic Literature Review) method. This study is intended to gain the strength of scientific studies in building a framework of mathematical connection abilities through the types of indicators of mathematical connections that suit the needs and identify self-confidence. The results of the study of several articles on the types of mathematical connections, to build mathematical connection skills, in this study recommend four types of mathematical connections of students, namely: (1) connecting between concepts in one mathematical material, (2) connecting between concepts in the field of mathematics, (3) connecting mathematical concepts with other fields, and (4) connecting mathematical concepts to solve problems in everyday life. Based on the results and discussions that have been described, it can be concluded that self-confidence has a significant effect on students' mathematical connection abilities, so that students' self-confidence has a positive effect on students' mathematical connection abilities.

Abstract

Mathematical literacy is an important factor in the learning process. Mathematical literacy is able to help students succeed in their lives, because mathematics is not just a science but the mastery of mathematical skills by understanding the mathematics around it. PISA results of Indonesian students occupy mathematical literacy at levels 1 and 2 of 6 levels, which shows students are only able to solve routine problems. One of the steps so that students can develop mathematical literacy skills is project-based learning (PjBL), students are more active in learning by exploring, interpreting, synthesizing, and providing information in completing a project. The type of research method used is Systematic Literature Review (SLR) Several studies of articles on mathematical literacy, weak mathematical literacy in the content of change and relationship, quantity and uncertainty and data show that students are less able to understand teaching materials related to arithmetic functions, algebra, number concepts, statistics and probability. The development of students' mathematical literacy skills with the tendency of intelligence possessed by students can also affect the learning styles used by students.Besides this, Project Based Learning (PjBL) learning is suitable learning in improving mathematical literacy skills. fish. Students not only learn in theory but students also learn practically in real life.

Abstract

The statistical literacy ability of junior high school students is still low. One way to improve statistical literacy skills is to innovate the applied learning model, namely the modified project-based learning model. The purpose of this study was to analyze the achievement and improvement of statistical literacy skills of students who received modified project-based learning with conventional ones, as well as to find out the interpretation of increasing statistical literacy skills of students from both classes. The method in this research is a quasi-experimental method. The sampling technique was carried out by taking a sample of two classes at Al Musyaffa Middle School, Kendal district using the technique Purposive Sampling. Data analysis was carried out quantitatively using Normalized Gain Test and Mann Whitney. The results showed that the achievement and improvement of statistical literacy skills of students who received modified project-based learning were better than students who received conventional learning based on modification project have a moderate interpretation while increasing students' statistical literacy skills with conventional learning has a low interpretation.

Abstract

Mathematical communication is needed by people to communicate ideas or solving mathematical problems, either orally, in writing, or visually, both in learning mathematics and outside learning mathematics. Mathematical communication skills can be viewed from several aspects, one of which is self-efficacy which affects student success. In addition to mathematical communication, self-efficacy or self-confidence in one's ability to communicate ideas simultaneously has an influence on learning achievement. The teacher also uses a learning model, namely the Trefinger learning model. This model uses divergent thinking along with the ability to apply the concepts that have been learned. In addition, the teacher also uses a performance assessment, with a performance assessment an assessment will be carried out on student activities as it happened.

Abstract

The art of creative thinking needs to develop and taught to students because by thinking creativity, students are able to solve the problem they have, the students become more independent, creating reliable and talented human resources, and skillful in the future. The purpose of this research is to find out the creative thinking ability in the mathematic aspect of Elementary School Mardi Rahayu 02 Ungaran students. The data collection was done by giving four questions of students' creative thinking ability on KPK and FPB materials along with with interview the students. The research was done to 31 students of class IVC. The method used is qualitative descriptive method. Creative thinking ability is important in Era 4.0 where the development of knowledge becomes really fast. The average achievement of every creative thinking indicator is fluency 45,8% and flexibility 58,3%, whereas originality and elaboration indicator reaches 33,3%. The conclusion from this research is that the creative thinking ability of Elementary School Mardi Rahayu 02 Ungaran students need to improve

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan mengkaji kemampuan berpikir kreatif berdasarkan tipe Adversity Quotient (climber, camper, dan quitter) pada pembelajaran matematika. Metode yang digunakan yaitu Systematic literature review. Tahap penelitian yang dilakukan yaitu menentukan topik penelitian, menentukan kriteria pencarian jurnal, melakukan pencarian jurnal, meyeleksi beberapa jurnal, melakukan kajian, dan menuliskan kajian dalam bentuk tulisan sesuai dengan format yang telah ditetapkan. Hasil kajian ini menunjukkan bahwa siswa dengan tipe climber memiliki usaha yang tinggi dalam menyelesaikan permasalahan dengan berbagai kemungkinan solusi dan strategi baru. Siswa dengan tipe camper memiliki kemauan untuk berusaha untuk menemukan berbagai kemungkinan solusi dan strategi baru tetapi cepat puas dengan hasil yang dicapai. Siswa denga tipe quitter mudah menyerah ketika menemukan kesulitan. Beberapa hasil penelitian mengungkapkan kemampuan berpikir kreatif belum dicapai secara optimal khususnya pada siswa dengan tipe camper dan climber.

Abstract

Artikel ini bertujuan untuk mendeskripsikan mengenai kemampuan pemecahan masalah matematika berbantuan aplikasi android bernuansa etnomatematika. Metode penelitiannya yaitu literature review berdasarkan kajian penelitian-penelitian terdahulu yang relevan mengenai kemampuan pemecahan masalah, aplikasi android, dan etnomatematika. Dikaji dan diseleksi beberapa artikel yang diperoleh dari pencarian Google Scholar, Scopus, dan aplikasi Publish or Perish 7. Adapun banyak artikel yang dikaji yaitu 23 artikel yang bersumber dari jurnal nasional maupun jurnal internasional. Hasil kajian menunjukkan bahwa aplikasi android bernuansa etnomatematika dapat meningkatkan dan melatih siswa dalam memecahkan masalah matematika, dikarenakan dapat efektif, efisien, mudah, dan bermakna dalam pembelajaran matematika.

Abstract

This research aimed to discuss creative mathematical thinking ability based on self-efficacy in CPS learning with scaffolding. This research employed qualitative descriptive design. The subjects of the research were 6 students of class XI of junior high school selected based on three categories of self-efficacy, they were: high, medium, and low. Two students were found in the high self-efficacy category, two students from the medium self-efficacy category and two students from the low self-efficacy category. The results of this research showed that students with high self-efficacy level were able to complete the four qualifications of creative thinking abilities, they were fluency, flexibility, originality, and elaboration. Students with the medium self-efficacy level were still having difficulty showing up ideas to determine the unusual way of being used. Students with low self-efficacy level had difficulty in understanding the problem so that it is only able to meet one qualification of creative thinking ability that is fluency. Based on the explanation of the results of this research, it can be concluded that no student with low self-efficacy level has a high score of creative thinking ability.

Abstract

Adversity quotient merupakan salah satu hal penting yang harus diperhatikan guru ataupun siswa dalam pembelajaran. Seseorang dengan ketahanan yang baik akan memperoleh prestasi yang tinggi. Oleh karena itu, tujuan dari penelitian ini yaitu untuk memberikan informasi terkait adversity quotient yang berpengaruh terhadap pembelajaran matematika. Metode yang digunakan adalah literature review atau systematic literature review. Tahapan yang digunakan yaitu planning, conducting dan reporting. Peneliti mencari, mengkaji, dan menggabungkan beberapa penelitian yang sesuai dengan topik yang akan dianalisis. Peneliti mendapatkan sebanyak 484 artikel dari jurnal terakreditasi nasional maupun internasional melalui Google Scholar dengan bantuan aplikasi Publish or Perish. Hasil yang didapat yaitu adversity quotient siswa dan guru matematika prajabatan berpengaruh positif terhadap pembelajaran matematika. Inovasi pembelajaran perlu diperhatikan sehingga pada era sekarang dibutuhkan guru kreatif dan juga inovatif dalam mengembangkan strategi, media dan model pembelajaran yang harapannya dapat meningkatkan adversity quotient siswa pada pembelajaran matematika.

Abstract

[English]: This paper describes how to develop a valid and reliable instrument for geometric creative thinking test based on the information processing taxonomy model. Using this model, geometry test can be classified in the level of creative thinking based on the information processing process of the mathematical knowledge they already have to solve problems according to the criteria at each hierarchical level. The development of the test instrument refers to Beyers (2011). A quantitative method was used to validate instruments through experts validation and instrument validation. The results showed that there was five geometry test that can be used to describe the student's creative thinking process at a different hierarchical level based on the information processing taxonomy. The results of this study can be a reference for teachers and other researchers to design mathematical test by paying attention to the hierarchical level of student's thinking abilities so that students with different abilities can solve problems which refer to their abilities. Keywords: Creative thinking,Geometry, Information processing taxonomy, Test design [Bahasa]: Artikel ini memaparkan tentang bagaimana menghasilkan instrumen yang valid dan reliabel untuk kemampuan berpikir kreatif geometris berdasarkan model taksonomi pemrosesan informasi. Dengan menggunakan model ini, soal geometri dapat diklasifikasikan dalam tingkatan berpikir kreatif siswa berdasarkan proses pengolahan informasi dari pengetahuan matematika yang telah mereka miliki untuk menyelesaikan masalah sesuai batas kriteria pada setiap tingkatannya. Pengembangan instrumen tes mengikuti langkah Beyers (2011). Metode kuantitatif digunakan untuk memvalidasi instrumen soal yang melalui tahap validasi ahli dan validasi instrumen. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa terdapat lima butir soal geometri yang dapat digunakan untuk mendeskripsikan proses berpikir kreatif siswa pada tingkatan hierarki yang berbeda berdasarkan model taksonomi pemrosesan informasi. Hasil penelitian ini dapat menjadi rujukan untuk guru maupun para peneliti lain untuk menyusun soal matematika dengan memperhatikan tingkatan hierarki kemampuan berpikir siswa agar siswa dengan berbagai kemampuan yang berbeda dapat mengerjakan soal sesuai dengan kemampuan yang mereka miliki.
